Forum posting error

I keep getting 'An error occurred while trying to submit your post. Please try again' error when I post to the forum. The post seems to get sent, I just get that error notice.

As I was told over in another forum (either Cloud or Comments, can't remember which) the failed Jive upgrade left a few "remnants" behind
Clearing my browser cache and cookies fixed the problem for me

  • (C1) Initialize POST Error Manager (PEM)

    Hello,
My hardware diagnostic card gives the following error: (C1) Initialize POST Error Manager (PEM). My bios just starts well and gives no error messages.
I can go to the bios as usually and my computer works normally (at the moment), but QuickTech also gives some error messages:
    - BIOS Buffer overrun check
    - SMBus Host detection
Maybe that these errors also have to do with it?
When I try to search with Google I only get some manuals where these error codes are listed, but no more explanations and possible solutions.
Can somebody please tell me what this problem is all about and how to fix it?
    I have a MSI 6533 bord.

    Hi,
No, unfortunately not. I posted this question in a lot of different forums, but no one seems to know what's exactly wrong and how to fix it.
I keep searching, and when I find some answers / solutions, I'll post it here. Can you also please keep me informed if you know some more?

  • MSI X79-GD65(8D) gives a posting error 63 Late CPU Initialize

    Hey Guys.
I have recently purchased new hardware.
    MSI X79-GD65(8D) Motherboard
    Intel i7 3820 CPU
    4 X Corsair Vengeance 4GB DDR3-1600 RAM
    MSI GTX660Ti Power edition GPU
    Corsair 750W Professional series PSU
    Corsair H80 CPU Cooler
I haven't overclocked ht e mobo, but on cold boot, the mobo doesn't initialize, gives a post error 63, refered to the mobo manual, it says it means late CPU initialize. Checked the BIOS, running version 1.7 and according to MSI download site for the CPU support list.
The memory is in quad channel as it shows in a diagram in the mobo manual. If I switch the pc off, and back on, it initializes and boots, the pc runs stable, it can run 48 hours no hassle, passes burn in tests to, just the first cold boot doesn't initialize.
Any ideas for what to look at would be great.
    Thank you.

A little hint for you: Don't try any of the .1B betas as they run horrible. I had to remove the latest .1B3 as it bricked the board and had to be recovered.
1.18 B7 is still the best bios to use:

I'd suggest the later Bios 1.18 B7 which I'm also using with the i7-3820 (https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=154186.msg1192427#msg1192427)

  • K9AGM2 Mobo PS2 Mouse POST Error Message

    Bios AMI v02.61
Recently the USB mouse connected to the system died and I had to  temporarily attach a PS2 mouse to install a replacement and all this works fine. However when I turn on the PC now I get a POST error message "PS2 mouse not found press F1 to continue". How can I I get rid of this tiny annoyance? I have searched the bios options and reset the CMOS to no avail.
    TIA,

I read the Moan Guide but could not find any references that were helpful. As to the origin of the board, it was purchased from a retailer here in Australia and the manual describes it as a K9AGM2(MS-7327 SERIES) and has the AMD 690G/690V chipset. Have to say in all respects it is a great little mobo.

  • Forum Posting Responses

Occasionally, I will get no response to a posting on the
forum. Most recently I made a posting regarding an error message we
are receiving, and there was no response, from another member or
from an Adobe expert. Does no response simply imply that no one has
knowledge of the subject, thus no response? Or that the Adobe
Expert on the subject matter is on vacation, or that I posted to
    the wrong forum? OR?
I think I posted to the correct forum. I can imagine
situations where no one could have a clue, but in the case of an
error message, I would expect that Adobe has a list of them, and
what might cause them. I searched the knowledge base and found no
related entries. What else can I do to find an answer?

    Hi there tojo45
Almost everyone here is a volunteer and simply sharing
knowledge and workarounds. I suppose actual Adobe RoboHelp team
members might visit occasionally and I would love it if they did on
a regular basis, as it's my belief that it would provide valuable
    insights and information for them.
The bottom line here is that there are no dedicated
individuals that sit on the forums and their sole purpose in life
is to ensure all forum posts receive an answer. Though some might
disagree with my view on that, as some or many of us are posting
    all the time.
Just as you have a job to do in addition to visiting the
forums, all the rest of us do as well! We do try and make an effort
to reply to as many posts as we can, but sometimes that simply
isn't possible. This could be a result of a simple time issue and
the other reasons you cited. In addition to those, keep in mind
that the RoboHelp forums may be but a slice of the lists and forums
we monitor. I think at last count I was participating in all the
RoboHelp forums, all the Captivate forums, the Visual Communicator
forums, the SnagIt forums as well as watching a typical load of
300-500 email messages that stream in each day. Now part of those
email messages are forum traffic, as that is my preferred way of
    watching the Adobe forums.
Just a bit about thinking you posted to the correct forum.
Although I'm certainly not speaking for everyone here, I can attest
that I watch activity in ALL forum categories. I suspect others do
too. And it's rather comical to see someone post a message perhaps
in the HTMLHelp forum and see that there are few posts in there.
Then decide to post the same question in the General category
"because it seems to have more traffic". Rest assured that wherever
you posted, it was probably seen. If an answer is to be had, we
normally respond as quickly as we can.
Okay, off to check other posts now. Hopefully this provided
you some of the insights you were looking for.
    Cheers... Rick

  • Preferred way to link to other forum posts in your message?

    Hi,
Every once in a while I come across forum posts that have links to
other posts in them.  However, sometimes I cannot follow the link
and get back to the message that the poster is referring to.  Is
there a standard way to link to forum posts?
For example, take the following thread:
    http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=330&message.id=4386&query.id=0
The second message in this thread lists a URL that starts with
exchange.ni.com, and this just goes to a generic error message.
The poster does not give enough information for me to find the message
    using an advanced search.
Are there any standard procedures for linking to other NI discussion forum messages for new posts?
    --Peter

This is due to changes which were made to NI's site (and probably the database) that make old links obselete. Most people just use the method you did and hopefully these links will be kept up-to-date.
In this case, if you post a new message in that thread, I'm sure Ray will be happy to help you.

  • Allow the user to control the width of the edit forum post input box

I would like to control the width of of the edit-forum post input box.  This could be:
automatically adjust the width of the box so that the box doesn't run off the right edge of the window.
have a user global preference to set the preferred width
at least, allow the user to change the width via the change size icon.  The three horizontal bars at the lower left of the input box. You can adjust the vertical dimension, but not the horizontal. TenFourFox 4.0.1. This is probably being blocked for some obscure reason.
Here is an example of an over extended right margin:
Curiously enough, the "software" let's me adjust the width & height of the add reason to edit text, but not adjust the width of the more important edit text box.

  • GR/IR Posting Error CKMLGRIR025 - Purchase Order History Inconsistent

    Hi Everyone.
We currently have a posting in our GRIR for a Feright Condition Value against a Purchase Order which gets the above error when trying to post in MR11.
The Diagnosis of the error reads:
"The purchase order history contains differences between the goods receipt and invoice receipts/Account maintenance for the order item in the field Difference Quantitiy (= 43.804 TO) and Difference Value (= -342.77)
The purchase order history for this tiem is inconsistent"
When looking at this Freight Condition information in the Purchase Order I can not see why this item has resulted in this error in MR11.
Has anyone else seen this error come through in their system, and do you have any ideas on how to fix this.
    Thanks
    Hayley

We are experiencing the same issue with the GRIR Posting Error CKMLGRIR025 - puchase order history inconsistent.  The actual message that we receive is Puchase Order history already inconsistent -->Quantity 1.00 EA Value 0.65-USD.
We reviewed SAP Note 708649 which also recommends using transaction MIRO with the corresponding default quantity and value o.  However, we are not able to enter an Invoice for the "default qty & value 0", as SAP gives me error message M8278 "You are not allowed to have zero lines" (just like Haley commented).  In reviewing this thread, I did not find the solution to the error message M8278 "You are not allowed to have zero lines" .  Could someone help me understand?
    Thank you!

  • Forum post ID's and broken tag rendering

Hi all and Merry summer solstice
How do I reference the forum post ID's?
I saw a post relating to the tag {tag_blogpostid} - what is the equivilent tag for forum posts?
My customer is a forum user, and they have used really basic forums in the past, however to bring the BC forum up to a really basic functionality level, we have to impliment typical forum features externally. However, to achieve this we MUST be able to reference the forum post ID's.
What is the tag for this?
I've also noticed that many tags don't seem to render properly - eg. {tag_postauthoralias} will render once, but every other occurance fails to work. I gather this is a bug?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
    Cheers.
    Jupiter

Just post a reply to your thread with the answer. Once you do that, you can click a "Solves it" button on the right side of that post and that will mark your issue as solved.
Moderators or the poster of the thread can not mark a thread with no replies as solved.
'''Answer seron posted in update above:'''
    <br>
Update: This happens only locally, not when the files reside on the web server. In the later case both pages render as the page residing in root locally. I consider the issue solved.

  • How does User get Identified by Screen Name and NOT by Real Name in submitting a Forum Post?

I have noticed that when I post a question or discussion item to one of Adobe's Forum Communities, I am identified as the author of my post by my actual legal name, not by my Screen Name that I set up in my profile when I registered.  The same applies for the posts of others--they are identified by their legal names, not their screen names.  What is the purpose of the Screen Name we set up when we registered, if not to shield the identity of the individual from others reading the post, if that person does not want to have their true identity publicly disclosed in, or publicly associated with the post?  If I sign my post using my Screen Name, but then it is identified with my legal name when I post it, what good does it do to have a Screen Name?  Is there some way to have the software not use my legal name, but identify my posts by my Screen Name only, if I so choose that option?  (Of course, Administrators at Adobe can always (presumably) identify the (real name) author of the post, via the registration information associated with a Screen Name, should the need arise.)
    Sincerely,
    SpaceAdventurer

Thanks for the reply, mytaxsite.co.uk.  And thanks for the screenshot showing me that my name is displayed to you as "spaceadventurer," which is what I had intended / wanted.
I understand now, from reading through most of the original and replies to the post,Real name instead of Screen name displayed, where I noticed you replied several times, that the Screen Name / real legal name works this way on Adobe’s forums:
When you are logged in - YOU (and only you) see your real legal name everywhere on the forums / web site, and associated with all of your posts
When you are not logged in (to Adobe / forums with your Adobe username / password), you always see your name associated with your posts as your Screen Name only
Everyone else always sees your screen name, everywhere, on all posts, regardless of whether they (everyone else) are logged in or logged out.  (Unless, of course, you set up your profile to have your Screen Name be your real legal name.  Then everyone will always see your real legal name associated with your posts.)
When logged in, in the “Edit Communities Profile” web page (from the menu that appears when you click your Avatar in the black Adobe menu bar at the top of the screen), in the “Privacy” tab on that page, there is a “widget” called ‘Preview your profile’ in the upper right-hand corner of that tab.  This widget is supposed to show you how you or others, depending on which selection you make from the dropdown in the widget, will see your Profile (and therefore, your name) from their computers.  In fact, no matter which selection you make from the dropdown, the display of your profile that is produced ALWAYS shows your real legal name, which is misleading, because that is not in fact, what others will see. Others, whether “Registered Users,” “Friends,” or “Everyone,” will ALWAYS see your Screen Name only.  (Except for the exception I mentioned in the immediate previous bullet.)
There is a way to change your Screen Name, should you feel the need to do so.  The steps to do that are detailed in response no. 75 to the "Real name instead of Screen name displayed" forum post.
Does it sound to you like I have captured the gist of the main learnings that can be gleaned from that post ("Real name instead of Screen name displayed”)?
    Thanks,
    SpaceAdventurer

  • MR11 GR/IR Posting Error - PO History Inconsistent - error message M8278

    Dear experts,
We have the problem as described in SAP note 708649. Error CKMLGRIR025 - Purchase Order History Inconsistent
This has also been described in this thread
Re: GR/IR Posting Error CKMLGRIR025 - Purchase Order History Inconsistent
We also have the issue on posting an invoice "default qty & value 0" in MIRO, receiving error M8278 "You are not allowed to have zero lines".
However, so far we are not able to correct this eg do not know how to continue to clear the GR/IR
Any help or hints on this matter would be appreciated

    Hi,
please note that the error message M8 278 is only issued if there is
zero amount in ALL document lines.
This means that you can post MM-documents with zero lines. But only if
there are other lines with amount > 0. The reason for this system
behaviour is, that every time a MM-Invoice is posted, an FI-Document is
created. In FI-Documents it isn't allowed to have zero lines.
So if you have an MM-Document with only zero lines, the Fi-document
can't be created and the error message is issued.
I hope I could help you further
    Best regards
    Erika
