Now it is saying that the framework is locked i cannot do anything ,any body know How to unlock objects in EP. thanks in Advance.
Thanks,
Sara

Hi Sara,
I hope you were able to change the masthead properly ,By the way
Go to systemadmin-> MonitoringPortal-->Object locking.
You should be able to see all your locked objects.
Select and unlock.
<i>Since you are new to SDN i would suggest you to search in SDN before posting as these issues have already been posted by someone.</i>
Thanx

  • Heavy Locks on the Entity Framework Database

    Dears,
    We are having a database which was developed using a Entity Framework, the web application was built on the top of Windows Work Flow Engine (WWF) and there are some stored procedures given below, which was generated by WWF. On which there are numerous heavy
    locks are happening and we are not aware of how fix this issue.
    [System.Activities.DurableInstancing].[RecoverInstanceLocks]
    [System.Activities.DurableInstancing].[ExtendLock]
    Any solution to above problem or if you know the source of the problem, it would be much helpful for us

    Dear pituach,
    First i would like thank you for your replies, hope we could reach some concrete solution which may more people.
    To
    start doing something on the below procedures, first we need to know what was purpose of this procedures, this procedures are accessing some of the below listed tables. I think it was some standard behavior of Entity Framework System. The below tables and
    some of procedures are injected into the database with a purpose, i would like to know what was it.

  • Locked Libraries ( Actor Framework ) but still editable

    I have a peculiar problem, that is hard to trace.
    I have a project where we use AF quite extensively.
    Upon a run of the project, and shutting down of all the actors, after sending the normal stop to all our actors, many libraries in the project have the locked icon.
    All actors are closed. ( we use the Monitored Actor and our actors inherit from it so we can see that the actors are actually down).
    The most peculiar thing is that even though the libraries are flagged as locked, you can open the VIs , edit and save as if they weren't locked.
    This is happening for us in LV 2013 SP1.
    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hi Daniel,
    The issue doens't happen after you first load the project in to the LabVIEW environment.
    If you run the software once, and close all actors, the issue happens; at the moement I'm not 100% sure if it depends on the execution path in the program or if it happens all the time.
    I can't really post the project ... the code belongs to our customer of ours, legal issues etc.
    With respect of the changes that have been made, we have 4+ people working on the project constantly, adding editing vi's etc ,,
    One thing is for certain someone made  a change somewhere at some point of time .
    But we're not really sure when this started occuring, hunitng it down would not be 5 minute job so I decided to post in case someone else had encountered this behaviour.
    We might end up having to do some forensics to try and undertstand when this started occuring by carefully taking consequent versions of the project and running them.
    The problem is that we have a LOT of actors in the project. And the load time of LabVIEW itself to do such experiments is a bit of discourageing.

  • USB Devices lock-up iMac 2011

    2011 iMac 3.4Ghz i7 SSD+2TB 2GB AMD 16GB Corsair RAM
    I noticed I was experiencing random lock-ups and freezes during the first few weeks of owning the iMac.
    I went down the line of changes I made to the system.
    RAM Upgrade, software installs.
    I went with a bare OS, stock memory, still experiencing lock-ups.
    added everything back, still experiencing lock-ups.
    kept everything unplugged for two weeks, played itunes movies in quicktime on loops (10 total, 5 form the ssd and 5 from the hdd) to see if one or the other would crash the system. Two weeks straight no crash.
    Plugged my iPhone in to sync and update, after a few hours over 8hours) i came back to the system froze & locked. no mouse movement or keyboard input (caps lock key wont turn on and the seconds in the top clock were stuck).
    hard restarted, left it run for a week nothing, plugged in my apple wired keyboard, the next day hard freeze/lock-up.
    this was repeated with each usb port, within a few hours to a few days the system lock-up freeze with any usb devices plugged in.
    it would not do this with FIreWire devices or audio cable or ethernet cable attached just USB.
    is there any way to resolve this without getting the logic board replaced? or is this a firmware/software issue?
    other than that the system is amazingly fast and one of the best.

    This is the error protocol I get in Console:

  • Stuck Threads on weblogic 10.3.2 Holding lock HttpURLConnection

    We are having issue with STUCK THREADS on weblogic 10.3.2. Basically my application makes a lot of web service calls over HTTPS and once in a while I see few STUCK THREADS and most of the time they clear but sometimes I have to bounce my server to clean.
    I have a thread dump, according to this its holding lock at weblogic.net.http.HttpURLConnection.getInputStream
    Any help to resolve this problem is highly appreciated.

    Yes, we have the same problem, stuck thread on weblogic.net.http.HttpsURLConnection.getResponseCode() (actually implemented by weblogic.net.http.SOAPHttpsURLConnection which also appears to be deprecated ???)
    When we use the class javax.net.ssl.HttpsURLConnection the getResponseCode() method works perfectly well, so it looks like the weblogic implementation is to blame.
    This is becoming rather urgent now because we're looking to migrate from OC4J to Weblogic and this issue has therefore become a blocker.

  • Older Macbook Pro Locking Up Every Few Minutes, Help Troubleshooting Please

    Hi Folks,
    I've been having problems with the trackpad click-bar acting up, but now suddenly the computer is repeatedly freezing/locking up.  Each time I have to use the power button to turn it off, then reboot.
    How can I start figuring out what the heck is wrong with it?  I'm not even sure what log in console would be useful, if any??  Are there any free or cheap programs that will actually monitor the computer for this sort of problem and record and decipher what is causing the lockups/freezes?  Sometimes the screen goes black while the computer is clearly still running, and I cannot get it back without restarting.  More often, I'll be in the middle of selecting a menu item, or loading a new tab, or some activity like that, and the screen/computer just freezes, sometimes even with a ghostly image of the drop down menu selection that I'd just selected still showing - and the computer is totally unresponsive to anything, e.g., won't select anything, won't respond to trying to get the finder or system preferences up, just totally frozen.  Won't respond to cmd-opt-esc either.  Sometimes I'll get the spinning rainbow wheel, rather than no activity, but it will just spin forever, it's not managing to do anything.
    Info:
    15" macbook pro, probably late 2006/early 2007 model, 2 GHz intel core duo, 2 GB memory, OS X 10.5.8 (e.g., it's NOT under warranty, I'm on my own, and $$s are VERY tight, I need to do everything I can to figure this out myself)
    Typically, all I'm doing is browsing the web - so usually all I have open is a magicjack (internet phone), and a web browser.  Usually I use firefox (most current version) - but it's locking up even with firefox off and using safari (5.0.4).  It does seem to crash faster with firefox, but still far too often with Safari (like every 30 min perhaps instead of 10, this is bad!).  In other words, I'm not putting it under heavy load.
    It's running off of AC power, not battery (although I gather that a bad battery can still cause problems when running off AC, is that even correct?).  I have external speakers plugged into it because often if watching streaming video the volume is too low if just using the computer's speakers.  Using cox high speed internet off ethernet.
    I've tried letting the computer stay off for 10 min or so then rebooting, it still freezes.
    I installed the sophos (sp?) anti-virus, checked the computer, no virus's/trojans/worms.
    I don't know where to go from here, please help!

    CMCSK, if I have installation disks, I can't find them quickly.  I've emailed the friend who gave me this computer asking if they recall sending any or not.
    In the meantime, I just ran disk utility verify disk permissions and got this:

    Permissions verification complete
    I ran it still connected to internet, etc., So, in the meantime, until I can find or figure out if I've even got installation disks, I'll go ahead and disconnect everything, reboot normally, then use disk utility to run verify permissions again & assuming it still finds problem, use repair permissions.  I've no idea what the SUID warnings mean, or if anything needs to be done about them.

  • How do you unlock Xcode 5.1 framework files?

    Hi,
    I'm currently in development of an application using Xcode 5.1 using the Storyboard however, I need to be able to access the code for each window I create in the SB. They are mainly UI files in the frameworks section but it seems like no matter what I do I cannot edit the code because the files are locked and I can't get them unlocked either. I've gone into the terminal trying to manually change the file permissions, that did not work. I changed the permissions of the files for each user using right click's "Get Info" and I even tried copying and pasting the current code of the files I need to edit, create them myself then replace in the folder they are located in but that doesn't work either. How am I supposed to edit the code while also using the SB? I'm currently using a Macbook Pro version 10.9.2 and OS X Maverick if that's of any help.
    If anyone can help me resolve this issue that'd be great!

    Only AT&T can authorize the official unlocking of the phone. These are their requirements:
    http://www.att.com/esupport/article.jsp?sid=KB414532&cv=820#fbid=cZcFj49RYN3
    So, contact AT&T if you want it officially unlocked. Apple can't/won't help you, nor can anyone here.

  • ICloud backups failing due to Safari bookmarks DB being locked

    iCloud backups are failing to complete on my iPhone 4 (CDMA), iOS 5.0.1.  I successfully completed a backup on November 9, but haven't been able to get a backup to complete since then.  When I manually invoke the "Back Up Now" function, it starts backing up, then says "There was a problem completing the backup.  Please try again later."
    Looking in the console logs (below), it appears the problem is that the Safari bookmarks DB is locked (corrupted?).  Indeed, I am unable to add additional bookmarks in Safari, I get the message: "Bookmarks are being synced.  Please add the bookmark once syncing has completed."
    I've tried restarting the iPhone to no avail; I've also looked at Apple's iCloud backup troubleshooting doc, and none of the cases there seemed to match this problem.
    Any suggestions ar every much appreciated!
    Here is what the iPhone console says:

    Had same problem, the solution lies with having your original apple ID associated email address "verified".
    I may not have all the steps down correctly, but open your apple ID account manager and go to the your listing for email and "verify" the email address.  This association then seems to allow the use of your email address when you are trying to set up this new apple ID that they are requiring for iCloud.
    Be aware that this new apple ID has a far reach and apparently cannot be undone, that is you can't change the name, characters, numbers or whatever you have for an email address that becomes your apple ID---even if you can no longer use the email address to receive email.
    Lots of luck.
    I have been trying to get the iCloud features to work for over a week now, including a visit to a genius bar, and still not fully functioning.

  • Weblogic 10.3.0 managed server + Spring Framework slow startup

    Hello
    Iam running weblogic 10.3.0 plus an application using spring framework on this:
    java.runtime.name = Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment
    java.runtime.version = 1.6.0_20-b02
    java.specification.name = Java Platform API Specification
    java.specification.vendor = Sun Microsystems Inc.
    java.specification.version = 1.6
    java.vendor = Oracle Corporation
    java.version = 1.6.0_20
    java.vm.info = compiled mode
    java.vm.name = Oracle JRockit(R)
    os.arch = amd64
    os.name = Windows 2003
    os.version = 5.2
    sun.arch.data.model = 64
    sun.io.unicode.encoding = UnicodeLittle
    sun.jnu.encoding = Cp1252
    sun.management.compiler = Oracle JRockit(R) Optimizing Compiler
    sun.os.patch.level = Service Pack 2
    Problem Description: A weblogic managed server is taking more than an hour to start, the delay is due to the deployments during startup, passing from STATE_PREPARED to STATE_ADMIN and to the initialization of the Spring root WebApplicationContex, which takes an avg of 7 mins per module deployed.
    I have a development server with the same application which starts in a few minutes, the only difference between the environments are tha the development server runs in 32bits.
    Any help will be appreciated

  • How To Lock Rows (in the DB)

    I need to lock a Row when a users enters some editing JSP until the user finished doing changes, while the other users (using VOs. created on the fly, and SQLJ) **DO NOT** have to get access to that Row.
    From a bean used in a JSP or in My AppModule How do I get a Lock over a Row? (The lock must be visible to all users of the D.B. not just the ones using the Framework.)
    Also setting the Transaction locking mode to NONE and doing manually the locks doesn't seems to be locking anything to the rest of users of the Framework.
    Thanks in advance.

    Or else you could issue the following select statement:
    select *
    from tab1, tab2, ....
    where <join clause>
    for update of <table to be updated>

  • Laptop hard locking

    I've just installed Archlinux on a brand new Dell Latitude E6520
    This laptop has a nvidia quadro nvs 4200m and an intel card. I've disabled optimus in the bios and I'm using the nvidia binary drivers.
    I've had a couple of hard locks, no response at all, I cannot switch to tty1 or anything else. This mostly happens after I've been seeing a flash movie.
    EDIT: some more information. This is in Gnome Shell with Chromium. The problem seems to always occur on closing a tab with a youtube video in it.
    It also seem like it's just the screen that locks (the mouse can be moved) and I could see a torrent updating on my android phone (transdroid - transmission)
    Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong?

    Hi,
    I've the same notebook. I've not had any hardlocks so far, but I've not seen so much flash movies yet. Anyway, I just tried closing running youtube-video tab on Kde4 + enabled desktop effects -> Everything's fine.
    Anyway, perhaps we can collect some issues and solutions in this thread. Here are problems, that I encounter:
    - restart does not work
    - errors during boot:

    Issued solved:
    - in order to make nvidia graphics working you have to disable Optimius in BIOS.
    - Battery not recognized -- fixed after recend updates
    - grub2 does not work. As soon as grub2 loads, the laptop reboots. -> stick to grub1  --  works now (either I did sth wrong the first time or a new version of grub2 fixes this issue)
    - in order to make the touchpad work properly install psmouse-elantech from AUR
       update: this is only a half-solution. vertical scrolling on the right edge works but graphical tools which rely on x11-input-synpatics still don't work. However, everything works fine with kernel 3.3. Once this in the main arch repos you won't need psmouse-elantech anymore.

  • Mac Pro having lots of lock up and crashing trouble

    Hi,
    My early 2008 Mac Pro has been misbehaving for a while now in various ways. Now it is completely out of hand!
    I was having some serious waking from sleep issues in the past and after performing a bunch of maintenance they got better (although they never disappeared completely). Now I am having a lot of trouble with the computer locking up. Usually within 10 minutes of waking from sleep, everything freezes. I can still move the mouse, and the computer will go into (and wake from) a monitor sleep but nothing on the screen is responsive.
    Also, when waking from sleep, the screen goes blue for a few seconds before giving me the normal screen. Here is a copy of the console report from its most recent wake:

    Hi-
    Looking through your log, I noticed the system is having problems with some M-Audio drivers.

    Old drivers, outdated drivers and incompatible drivers can cause sleep problems.
    If you are not using any M-audio devices, I would remove the files.
    If you are, you should check for updates, and still should remove the offending files.
    If you migrated your user files from a previous system, say from a PPC system, these can cause problems.
    Start by running in safe mode, and see if the machine sleeps and wakes as it should.
    Troubleshoot your Startup and Login items as described in this article:
    http://www.thexlab.com/faqs/startupitems.html

  • I downloaded Mtn. Lion about three weeks ago to my early 2008 24" IMAC. Logging in generates all sort of weird graphics and finally a lock up. Unusable except under safe mode.

    I have been on the phone with technical service twice ( both as helpful as they could be) and took the computer into the apple store to have the hardware checked out. All of the hardware checked out. They installed Lion in place which is useless to our family as the last backup was done under Mtn. Lion in safe mode. I reinstalled everthing from the backup and can work from safe mode but this has its obvious disadvantages.
    What happens is when (if I get this far) I log in,  the desktop graphics go "crazy" and eventually the computer locks up. I have reinstalled Mtn. Lion numerous times with no improvement to the situation. I post this out of frustration and hoped for answers. That $20 download is not worth the cost of the loss of  use of the Office programs, the Adobe programs not to mention photos, teaching documents, scouting documents, family documents, music, that are all somewhat in limbo because of this mess.
    As a long time Apple product user I have not come to expect this kind of problem from Apple products. I have not been advised of how I will know when a "fix" has been arrived at leaving me further in the dark and discouraged. School is starting up on Monday and this computer gets a lot of use from both a teacher and a High School student.
    Apple, you said that our particular model was compatible with Mtn. Lion. It has been checked out at the local Apple store and everything found to be OK. Our backup is under Mtn. Lion (running in Safe Mode). We have no way to go back to Snow Leopard to retrieve and run all of our previous programs. So Apple, the ball is 100% in your court. When are we going to have the solution?

    Well I believe I was able to clear those two programs out. I still had the dmg files with each having an uninstall. VirtualBox was a clean uninstall and while the Palm SDK would seem to be gone it was not as clean an uninstall, having repeated it several times.
    I have since restarted three times, once after pulling the plug from the back and waiting for several minutes. One time I thought it was going to be stable but after about 2 minutes it started with the graphics problem again and then finally locked up.
    Could Skype or Flash have something to do with this?

  • Lock screen in Xcode

    Hello
    I'm new in Xcode. I would like to make an Lock Screen application.
    How can I tell the textfield that when the word 'test' is entered, the program closes.But if Ienter a different word should appear a message.
    Example code would be helpful.
    Thanks
    Mario

    For the target application, you'll want to use the frameworks; without intending offense, the only folks that ask for and process passwords directly are usually folks that are trying to steal the user's passwords.  The following is an OpenGL framework for a screensaver: Writing a Screen Saver (part I), Writing a Screen Saver (part II) and here is part of the Apple screen saver framework documentation.  That'll get you some idea of what's involved with using the existing frameworks available here.  Now in fairness, this probably really isn't what you want, if you're just learning Cocoa...
    If you're looking to display a dialog box or other window and prompt for input and react to it (and I'd stay away from the "passwords" stuff for now; you're writing the first part of a Guess The Animal-style program, or whatever), that's a fairly straightforward Cocoa application.
    Posting an example of what you want is slightly difficult, as the easiest way to do most of what you're after is with the Interface Builder tool and that doesn't post well here; a fair chunk of the generic prompting application is "just" making the connections in IB.  (The amount of source code to do the simplest form of string comparision is a couple of lines around the NSString's isEqualToString method (there's some example code lined at the end of the isEqualToString method definition) as the core test.
    If you're new to C and/or Objective C and/or Cocoa programming, I'd suggest one of the available books on Cocoa and Mac OS X programming.  There are various guides and Apple intro material including Your First Mac App, and both Big Nerd Ranch and Pragmatic Programmers have programming books available, and there is online materials such as this course at CocoaDevCentral - that last course is a bit stale, as Xcode has been a moving target recently.)
    And there's a veritable goldmine of sample application code available directly in the Xcode-provided documentation.
    There is far more development-related traffic in the Apple Developer (Discussion) Forums, and particularly on the various mailing lists including the Cocoa mailing list and particularly in the archives of the mailing list.

  • [ADF-11.1.2] Locking issue with SQL 92

    I see one Locking issue with SQL92 Oracle ADF Application.
    ADF Version: [ADF-11.1.2]
    Database: Oracle 10g Express Edition
    Situation 1:
    With Following setting:
    File: Application Resource > Description > ADF META-INF > adf-config.xml
        <startup>
          <amconfig-overrides>
            <config:Database jbo.SQLBuilder="SQL92" jbo.locking.mode="optimistic"/>
          </amconfig-overrides>
        </startup>I have a page showing record 'x' of view object. I open same record on another page. Now I have same record showing on two different tabs of browser.
    1. I modify first record and save it. It worked... Got commited to database.
    2. I goto second tab and modify same record and tried to same it. It throws me an error - Another user has changed the row with primary key oracle.jbo.Key[38 ] . As expected...
    3. I then, reopen the same record on 3rd tab of browser. Modify it and tried to save it. It just hang... as if it is processing the record endlessly.
    If I see the Log:
    <BaseSQLBuilderImpl> <doEntitySelectForAltKey> [312] BaseSQLBuilderImpl Executing doEntitySelect ... (true)
    <BaseSQLBuilderImpl> <doEntitySelectForAltKey> [313] Generating new LOCK statement
    <BaseSQLBuilderImpl> <buildSelectString> [314] Built select: 'SELECT ID, CI_ID, COLUMN_NAME, DISPLAY_COLUMN_NAME, COLUMN_VALUE, CREATE_DATE, CREATE_BY FROM ESUSER.CI_AUDIT'
    <BaseSQLBuilderImpl> <doEntitySelectForAltKey> [315] Executing LOCK "SELECT ID, CI_ID, COLUMN_NAME, DISPLAY_COLUMN_NAME, COLUMN_VALUE, CREATE_DATE, CREATE_BY FROM ESUSER.CI_AUDIT WHERE ID=? FOR UPDATE"
    <BaseSQLBuilderImpl> <bindWhereAttrValue> [316] Where binding param 1: 38
    That's it.. nothing happens further.. If I execute above query on SQL Worksheet, it doesn't come up with the result. Just hang for something...
    SELECT ID, CI_ID, COLUMN_NAME, DISPLAY_COLUMN_NAME, COLUMN_VALUE, CREATE_DATE, CREATE_BY FROM ESUSER.CI_AUDIT WHERE ID='38' FOR UPDATE I can execute above query for other record of same table but not '38'. Even if I fire commit command to database, it is not working.
    I have to restart the database services to bring everything to normal state.
    Situation 2:
    With Oracle as Database :
        <startup>
          <amconfig-overrides>
            <config:Database jbo.SQLBuilder="Oracle" jbo.locking.mode="optimistic"/>
          </amconfig-overrides>
        </startup>Everything is working file. i.e. at step 3, record is getting modified successfully with following log:
    <OracleSQLBuilderImpl> <doEntitySelectForAltKey> [27] OracleSQLBuilder Executing doEntitySelect on: ESUSER.CI_AUDIT (true)
    <ADFLogger> <begin> Entity read all attributes

    <ADFLogger> <end> Updating audit columns
    <ADFLogger> <end> Before posting the entity's changes

    <OracleSQLBuilderImpl> <doEntityDML> [33] UPDATE ESUSER.CI_AUDIT CIAudit SET COLUMN_VALUE=? WHERE ID=?

    Can any one please tell me, what is the issue with SQL92 setting ?
    Edited by: Anandsagar Sah on Mar 11, 2012 8:10 AM

    The framework works correctly in the Situation #1. Please, note that the locking statement in this case is "SELECT ... FOR UPDATE", but not "SELECT ... FOR UPDATE NOWAIT" (as it is in the Situation #2). When you entered the 2nd tab and tried to update the row, then the framework executed the locking statement and the row was locked (and it remained locked because the framework detected that another user had modified the row, so it stopped the processing and no COMMIT operation was executed). When you entered the 3rd tab and tried to update the row, then the framework tried to lock the row againg, but the locking statement was blocked by the existign lock and it started waiting on the lock from the 2nd tab. So this is expected behaviour.
    The interesting question is why you do not get any error in the Situation #2. In my opinion you should get an error because the locking statement from the 3rd tab should fail immediately (because the row should have been locked from the 2nd tab and the locking statement is with NOWAIT option). I suspect that when the DB is Oracle and you use Oracle SQLBuilder, then the ADF issues a DB savepoint at the beginning of the DML operation and rolls back to the savepoint is a case of some failure, so the 2nd tab has not left any lock. You can check this by setting on SQL trace on the DB server.
