FRAUDULENT REPORTING OF FAILURE TO RETURN EQUIPMENT

I recently received a notification from Experian that Verizon has reported my account as delinquent due to charges related to failure to return equipment. I returned the equipment in October 2014 and had resolved everything with a Verizon agent in January 2015. So I thought. I am currently OWED money from Verizon yet they have reported my account as delinquent! I was a very happy customer and only left because I moved to an area without FIOS.
To add to the nightmare, I have been on hold with the credit reporting department for 3 hours! Perhaps there is someone on here that can help resolve this???

Sorry you are having difficulty, an agent with access to your account will reach out to you directly by email, private message in the Forums and/or the billing telephone number on your Verizon account for more information to help you resolve your issue.Please remember to check your spam/junk folder if you do not hear from an agent.

  • Returning Equipment

    Greetings.
    I'm in need of assistance with returning equipment. How can I open a Private Support Case?
    Thanks.

    Honestly your best bet is to contact customer service on their facebook page if you have an account. Just drop them a pm on there. They are quick to reply.
    Just fyi, you can always return equipment at a fios store or online through your account. Just go to add/change services, click on equipment then you can choose which equipment to be returned. They'll send any boxes and labels to ship them back.

  • Returning equipment exceptions

    I recently called to cancel my dads service because he has passed away. I live in a different state than he does and they keep phoning and emailing him to return the equipment or they are going to charge for it. I explained to the first person when I canceled service that I could not do this until I go up there again and that could be a few months. She said that would be OK but that since he had it over a year I didn't need to return it anyway. I told her I would return it anyway just to let them have their equipment back. Keep getting emails, mail and phone messages about getting the equipment back. The last person I talked to was very unsympathetic that he had passed away and just insisted I signed the contract and it needs to be sent back. I finally had to yell at her that my dad is DEAD and I cannot do that. I just want the right hand to tell the left hand that there exceptions and this is one of them and to sit tight and I will get the equipment back. PS: there is no where on the site to tell someone about this.

  • Verizon Supervisor Dismissal of Concerns/Failure to Return Requested Calls

    Frankly, I am outraged at the lack of concern and the failure of Verizon Wireless' Customer Care Supervisors failure to return my calls after REPEATED request through customer service representatives. I initially called Verizon Wireless because I was at the end of my contract with a mobile pac which I was not and had not been using for months. I was told by two different customer care representatives incorrect dates at which time I would be allowed to terminate the service without having to pay the early termination fee. My MAIN concern and my actual reason for calling Verizon Wireless is because I have been placed on Social Security Disability; I am unable to work, and I SIMPLY wanted to have a representative look at my account and tell me what I could do to reduce the amount I pay each month. The young man told me that the termination of the mobile pac would reduce my monthly bill by $50.00, bringing me from approximately a $300.00 monthly bill to a $250.00 monthly bill. Though this was still a pretty hefty sum for me to pay each month out of the $1700.00 I receive, in disability benefits, I decided this would at least provide me with some relief. The representative then told me I was eligible for upgrades on two of the phones of the four I have on my account. I discussed the Samsung Galaxy five which was being advertised for $199.00, but I decided I was not willing to upgrade at the pricing. Then, I was told I could get two Samsung Galaxy four phones for $99.00; I would also receive two $50.00 Visa Rebate Cards which I could use to apply to my bill in order to actually get the phones for free. Since the phones would actually cost me $0.00 dollars, I agreed to upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy 4. Upon going with the Samsung Galaxy 4 and signing on to an additional two year contract, the representative told me he could save me even more money on my monthly bill if I would change from my current family plan to the new family plan which offered more features and greater data service, unlimited minutes, and unlimited text messaging. The young man told me this would reduce my monthly payments from approximately $250-$270 a month to somewhere in the high $100 to lower $200 dollar range. As any individual who suddenly finds himself or herself in a situation which creates financial hardship due to a reduction of one's monthly income from $3,300.00 per month to $1700.00 per month, I trusted the individual who sold me the service because I desperately needed lower costs in order to meet my monthly obligations. I was not given the specifics of proration of my account; I was simply led to believe changing to this new plan would be a much greater means of reducing my bill. When I receive my bill for the May to early June billing cycle, I was absolutely floored to discover the amount due to Verizon was over $600. I immediately called customer service and explained why I had called and how my understanding of what was sold to me would create a much more manageable monthly amount due. In addition, there were charges for the two new devices, and I had already received the Visa cards and applied the $100 to my account with the belief that doing so would place me at the much reduced bill. This time I spoke with a representative who was an incredibly kind and understanding representative. He was able to get permission to reduce the amount owed by $300, but somehow, I still owed a great deal more. At that time, the proration of my old plan and my new plan was revealed more fully to me, and I was beyond outraged. I did not speak harshly to this understanding young man because he told me it was not within his authorization to remove proration charges; however, he said he would speak to someone with more authority to see if the misrepresentation of the truth to me could be removed. When he returned to speak with me, he said I am sorry Mr. Sullivan, but my supervisor will not allow the removal of the proration. At that time, I asked to speak with someone with more authority, and I was told Verizon did not allow escalation to a higher level at the initiation of a customer issue; however, he could and would put in my request for a supervisor with greater authorization abilities to call me...as I specifically requested. I was told I could expect a call in the next 24 to 48 hours. Guess what?  NO CALL. After a few days, I, again, used MyVerizon to see if the reductions were applied. Again, NO. I gave Verizon several days to apply the reductions, but nothing was done. I told Verizon to stop my automatic payments until we could come to some resolution regarding this misrepresentation of the truth to a customer, me! Again, I placed a call to Verizon, spoke with representative #3, explained my situation again, and again requested a call from someone in a supervisory position to call me for further discussion regarding the misrepresentation of service which I was sold. IF my primary objective in calling Verizon INITIALLY was my very REAL need to lower my cost, what ****** fail to see I am now in a situation which I creating tremendous financial stress for me. I paid $200.00 at online to make an effort to show willingness to pay, and I continued to await the call from a supervisor. Over three weeks have passed, and I still have not had anyone from Verizon make any attempt to reach out to me. I have always made my payments on time in the past; I signed up for automatic withdrawal of funds from my bank in order to make sure I was never past due, and this is the way I am treated. I will continue to pay what I can pay due to my very limited funds, and I will continue to demand a call from someone who has the authority to adjust my bill to the amount I was promised and I expect. Today, I receive my statement for June 6th to my July due date. Guess what? My bill has NO adjustments, and Verizon is still billing me over $600.00 for the current billing cycle. My issues will be addressed one way or the other because there are other options I can take against Verizon. Social Media is a powerful tool which I can use on a daily basis to warn and to guide potential Verizon customers away from the incompetence, the misrepresentation of the truth, and the multiple failures of the companies upper management to take the time to call me. This is outrageous and this is unacceptable. PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL ME! Do not promise customers a service for which I have also found to be yet another way to skirt the issues many customers' request. I am not threating anyone at Verizon; however, I am completely dedicated to following through with daily notifications to Facebook followers warning them of the manipulation of customers and the inept supervisory and upper-management's failure to follow their OWN promises to honor to its customers. I encourage any and ALL Verizon customers to flood social media with warning so corrupt polices and misrepresentations which are a DANGER to Verizon customers. We DO NOT HAVE TO REMAIN VOICELESS. As customers, we support Verizon's profits. I will not sit idly by and let this foolishness and these lies to go unaddressed. I expect to get precisely what I was promised...AND NOTHING LESS!

        I understand how important it is to be on the correct tsull82751 and stay within your budget, I apologize for the problems you had while contacting us about the plan. We want to make sure we resolve your concern as this is unacceptable; if you were promised a call, you should receive it. Please follow me back and send me a Direct Message so I can review the details of this. Here are our plans http://vz.to/1qUByL2 , which is what we offer and can honor. I look forward to your message.

  • SOAP Messaging Using Crystal Reports Web Services To Return Report in PDF or Excel Format

    All,
    I am trying to use SOAP messaging to fetch a Crystal Report through a Managed repository and getting back either a PDF or Excel file. For some reason, any reference to web services on this site I cannot access. Like thread, "Using Web Services on the Crystal Report Server XI to return reports".  Can anyone point in a direction to Web Service Calls API documentation or does this not exist ?????? I would hope this product has this capability.
    Thanks In Advance,
    Tom

    XI Release 2 Service Pack 2 introduced the Business Process BI Web Services, that allow you to retrieve reports using SOAP messaging.
    It's documented here:

  • Custom reports in R12 not returning any data

    I'm seeing an issue of custom reports in R12 not returning any data. So far what I've been able to dig into is that the report query itself is referring to APPS synonyms that are secured under MOAC. What I am able to do is run the query in SQL Developer after having run mo_global.set_policy_context and I receive the data I'm looking for. This is not the case when running the report through the concurrent programs request.
    Secondly, I've also configured the concurrent program request to run as single operating unit mode. This aided in fixing any issues with LOVs on the parameter form. However, still no results from the report itself. I've also searched around quite extensively and added a P_CONC_PROGRAM_ID user parameter in reports developer, as well as adding SRW.USER_EXIT('FND SRWINIT') to the before report trigger and SRW.USER_EXIT('FND SRWEXIT') to the after report trigger as well. No luck. I've also tried running mo_global.set_policy_context on the before report trigger and no such luck.
    Has anyone seen similar issues with this and could shed some light? At this point, the workaround I would see is to just change the query to use respective all tables and match up against the orgid, but I'd rather not do that.

    I am facing exactly the same issue with 2 of my custom Reports in R12.1.3. We did our level best to find out the issue. It was always a hit and trial fix.
    But the following were our observations and workarounds
    0) The reports Conc Prog were in MOAC - Single mode. Both the reports had SRW INIT, EXIT and P_CONC_REQUEST_ID
    1) The reports which caused the issues[NO data fetched for MOAC] had multiple Queries in the data model and one Query fetches data and the 2nd one doesnt. Both the queries when run from SQL developer after setting the org gave results.
    Workaround for Report1
    a) We deleted the data link connecting the 2 columns in both the queries and added a bind variable instead in the 2nd /child query to refer to the column in the parent query and linked the 2 groups.
    Workaround for Report 2
    a) In report 2 the queries were not linked to each other. Only one query used to return results and the 2nd one returned 0 rows. The workaround was to use the "where" conditions as lexical parameters after having set the value for the same in before report trigger.
    Both the work around looks illogical. Still It worked..!
    Thanks

  • ZCM Reporting install failure: Wrong OS

    Hi, I have downloaded the ZCM_Reporting_10.1.0.iso and would install the server on my ZCM server what is installed on a SLES 10.2 x64 with ZCM 10.1.1 x64. But I got the install message: Not supported OS. Is it true ?

    I was also "bitten" by this same problem...ZCM 10.1.1 on a 64-bit SLES 10 SP2 server and when I tried to install the ZCM Reporting Server I got the same message.
    It was only when I reviewed the fine print, and I do mean fine print, in the software requirements did I realize that NO 64-bit OS was going to be suitable for the ZCM Reporting Server.
    Usually you would not expect to run into trouble installing a 32-bit application on a 64-bit OS but they do crop up occasionally but I was not too concerned in the case of ZCM 10.1 on a 64-bit OS about whether or not the ZCM Reporting Server would install OK. Hey, isn't this stuff supposed to work together? What happened to making IT work as one?
    This does need to get "fixed" by Novell and BO because it is a problem that should not exist in the ZCM 10 world to begin with. Shame on them for being so lazy about it.
    Novell should have pointed this out IN LARGE TYPE THAT THE ZCM 10.1 REPORTING SERVER CANNOT BE INSTALLED ON ANY 64-BIT OS. Instead they kind of tucked it away in the fine print where it waited to bite us.

    I have repeatedly tried to install flashplayer on Mac 10.5.8 with no success. I have followed the online help document line by line and tried Mike M's suggestions to no avail. I now have no flashplayer and each time it continues to report a failure to launch even when reset. the error report on apple state a breakpoint and unknow required load command whatever that is....HELP!

    Hi Katie,
    Flash Player is no longer supported on OS X 10.5.8.  If you try to install one of the latest versions, it'll just terminate.  You need Flash Player 10.3.183.90 (released 7/9/2013), which is the last version supported on OS X 10.5.8.  The installer file is in this zip package, http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/installers/archive/fp_10.3.183.90_archive _mac_only.zip.
    If you have an Intel machine, you may want to consider upgrading to 10.9 (free upgrade) so that you can install the latest, most secure, version of Flash Player.

  • Method to not produce report if no records returned?

    We have reports automatically emailing clients on a daily basis. If a report query does not return any records, can I tell BOXI not to email the report?
    Clients want a report of any new incidents reported daily. If no new incidents occur on a given day, I would ideally not like the report to run, or at least, to not send an email.
    How can I do this?
    Thanks in advance.
    Maria

    Hi Maria,
    You would create the events prior to the report generation i.e. the report is generated only if the event is triggered.
    Use SSIS, DTS or xp_cmdshell to create the necessary trigger files.
    Basically what you want to do is determine criteria of what must trigger your report i.e. count(*) > 0 then if the criteria returns true, create a file on the file system, if it returns false then do not create the file.
    The file needs to be created on the file system.
    On the CMS create a new file based event
    Point the event to the UNC path where the file will be created.
    Ensure the SIA has access rights to the UNC path.
    Have a read through the admin guide - Page 883
    http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/boexir31/en/xi3-1_bip_admin_en.pdf
    There will of course be a performance overhead for the above as you will effectively be running your procedure twice - once to determine the number of rows followed by a second time to run the report.

  • Satellite L550 - SMART Reports HDD Failure Soon - What To Do?

    Toshiba Satellite L550-113
    On startup, I get a SMART message reporting HDD failure soon, and I'm requested to hit F1 before it will continue to boot to Windows (Vista 32 Bit).
    The actual message from the Toshiba HDD Alert application is as follows:
    Disk0
    Your HDD has the SMART Predict Failure function which monitors the HDD operating status. Your HDD is experiencing a problem and SMART monitoring software predicts that the HDD will fail. Toshiba strongly recommends you create a back-up for your HDD data. Then contact an authorized service provider in order to check your drive and purchase a new replacement drive if necessary.
    I've ordered a new HDD to replace the failing HDD (can't be bothered p*ssing about with RMA's and tech support).
    However, is it possible to fix the old HDD once it's been removed? If I reformat it, will this do anything, or is it more serious than that?

    Thanks for the advice. I used the Win7 backup process using an external HDD, then installed the new HDD and restored the system. The built-in Toshiba backup system software was corrupted & missing, so Win7 backup was my best option.
    The laptop belonged to a family member who passed away last year, so I've no idea if the warranty still existed. I needed to get the laptop up and running as soon as possible, so going through the RMA process with Toshiba was always going to take too long.
    My question still stands... is there anything I can do with the old drive to get it out of SMART mode failure?

  • Report multiple failures with TestStand reporting

    I'm pretty new to TestStand so please bear with me. I'm using LabView to test a connector on a digital interface board. So I'm reading and writing dig. signals on say 15 pins in a test. I'm using TestStand to run my VI's. When a test fails TestStand seems to only report one measurement at a time. I want all of the pins that failed to show up in the TestStand report in a format like :
    InputPin:A1 OutputPin:B1 Expected:0 Read:1
    InputPin:a2 outpuPIn:b1 expected:1 read:0
    I tried using the ReportText section of the TestData Cluster but I couldn't format it properly. All of the data sort of runs into each other like this
    input:a1 output:b1 expect:0 read:1 input:a2 output:b2
    the carriage returns I tried to put in were i
    gnored.
    Does anybody know how I can report a lot of failures in one report. I hope I explained properly.Thanks

    Hi,
    Find attached an example using the MultipleNumericLimitTest step type.
    All it does is use the array found in Locals call Digital as the DataSource for the Limits. You can check this by selecting the step and doing a right mouse click - select Edit Limits. Then select the Data source Tab. I have add 16 Measurements, one for each of the array elements.
    This will give a you a result of each element of the array in the report for that step. But by default it will look like:
    Measurement[0] (Measurement 0):
    Limits:
    Low: 0b1
    Comparison Type: EQ (==)
    Data: 0b0
    Status: Failed
    To get the format you require will mean modifying the report sequence file.
    Hope this helps a bit

  • Report- Pl/sql function returning sql query parsing page items as text?

    Hi Team,
    I am facing a strange issue .
    I have four page items namely
    1)JOB_CODE
    2)MIN_EXP
    3) MAX_EXP
    4) SOURCES1
    I have a report of the type "Pl/sql function returning sql query"
    declare
    v_sql varchar2(4000);
    begin
    if (:JOB_CODE IS NOT NULL and :MIN_EXP IS NOT NULL and :MAX_EXP IS NOT NULL and :SOURCES1 IS NOT NULL) then
    v_sql:= 'select v_candidate_id, v_fname,v_current_employer,v_Experience_years from candidature where V_REQUIREMENT = :JOB_CODE and v_experience_years >= :MIN_EXP and v_experience_years <= :MAX_EXP and source like ' || '''' || '%'|| ':SOURCES1' || '%' || '''';
    elsif (:JOB_CODE IS NULL and :MIN_EXP IS NOT NULL and :MAX_EXP IS NOT NULL and :SOURCES1 IS NOT NULL) then
    v_sql := 'select v_candidate_id, v_fname,v_current_employer,v_Experience_years from candidature where v_experience_years >= :MIN_EXP and v_experience_years <= :MAX_EXP and source like ' || '''' || '%'|| ':SOURCES1' || '%' || '''';
    elsif (:MIN_EXP IS NULL and :JOB_CODE IS NOT NULL and :MAX_EXP IS NOT NULL and :SOURCES1 IS NOT NULL) then
    v_sql := 'select v_candidate_id, v_fname,v_current_employer,v_Experience_years from candidature where v_experience_years <= :MAX_EXP and V_REQUIREMENT = :JOB_CODE and source like ' || '''' || '%'|| ':SOURCES1' || '%' || '''';
    elsif (:MAX_EXP is null and :JOB_CODE IS NOT NULL and :MIN_EXP IS NOT NULL and :SOURCES1 IS NOT NULL) then
    v_sql := 'select v_candidate_id, v_fname,v_current_employer,v_Experience_years from candidature where V_REQUIREMENT = :JOB_CODE and v_experience_years >= :MIN_EXP and source like ' || '''' || '%'|| ':SOURCES1' || '%' || '''';
    end if;
    insert into query_list values (v_sql);
    insert into debug values (:JOB_CODE , :MIN_EXP , :MAX_EXP , :SOURCES1);
    return v_sql;
    end;
    Please not that I am insertin the query into a table called Query_list and the page item values into the table called Debug thru the pl/sql function which returns teh query.
    Now I select the data from the debug tables.
    select unique(query) from query_list;
    select v_candidate_id, v_fname,v_current_employer,v_Experience_years from candidature where V_REQUIREMENT = :JOB_CODE and v_experience_years >= :MIN_EXP and v_experience_years <= :MAX_EXP and source like '%:SOURCES1%'
    select * from debug;
    JOBCODE     MINEX     MAXEX     SOURCE
    21     1     10     donkeyHire
    And if I run the query in sql I get some records returned
    select v_candidate_id, v_fname,v_current_employer,v_Experience_years from candidature where V_REQUIREMENT = 21 and v_experience_years >= 1 and v_experience_years <= and source like 'donkeyHire'
    V_CANDIDATE_ID     V_FNAME     V_CURRENT_EMPLOYER     V_EXPERIENCE_YEARS
    2     Vengu     Andale Tech     4
    But the record does not show up in the report!
    does this type of report parse page items as text?
    Why is it so?
    Waiting for an early reply.
    Thanks,
    venkat

    Venkat - You don't want to put ':SOURCES1' in quotes like that.
