Freight Charges in STO Should not be Inventorised

HI All,
There is some requirement ,While doing Stock Transfer of RawMaterial from one plant to another plant  using STO, Frieght charges will be included. But we dont need these frieght charges to be inventorised, as it will simply rise the stock value.such change in inventory account in balance sheet and profit & loss account does not tallies. How can we deal with this issue.
Thanks,
Raju

For all materials which are valuated at MAP ,  All delivery costs including freight  will be  Inventorised at time of PGI  in case of STO.  This  is standard process , and  is  required in all companies for correct inventory valuation.
If you dont want freight to be inventorised, you need to  use FI JV or  Service Procurement  process for freight.

  • Why do I have to pay for a charge that I should not of been charged then wait for the credit in two to three billing cycles? If I don't pay it I get charged $5 a month late charge?

So I spent a considerable amount of time on the phone with Verizon about charges on my wireless bill. The conclusion of it was: Pay the charge and we will credit the charge or it will show as a balance due with a $5.00 late fee every month. I got two phones on a promotion in November. Part of the promotion was no activation fee. Got my first bill and a $70.00 activation fee was on it. On line chatted with Verizon and they said it would be credited in two to three billing cycles. I paid my bill minus the activation fee. This month I have a $5.00 late fee and a $35.00 restocking fee because they messed up and sent three phones and I returned one. It was not activated. They might credit me that money back. What is going on?????

I am so very sorry for any aggravation you've experienced getting your billing straightened out, Nunu1957. It's true that it can take 1 to 2 billing cycles for some account balance adjustments to appear on a statement. While I know you'd rather not have paid your activation fees, the terms of your agreement do require you to do so in order to avoid late fees or even involuntary service interruptions.
I am concerns about the restock fee. If the device was sent to you in error, you should not have been billed a restock fee. You stated that there may be a refund for the fee. Has that been confirmed?

  • Subcontract Charges and it should not affect GR/IR Clearing Account

    Hi expert
I have subcontracting process in house production, i send my ROH  material from my one plant to another plant for subcontracting process. my subcontractor's is my other plant, because this is my internal/in house production, i dont want do the Miro for my plant which is my vendor. is there any solution that i can closed mt po with doing a miro.
    regard
    nabil

    Dear Nabil
As per the Experts it is better to Use the Free Good indicator in Purchase order ,by this Gr/IR clearing GL account will no hit the value,Even Po doesnt ask for the Vendor Price.Though it is your companies requirement, did you think about the process cost that your other plant is investing? How will you calculate the  process cost or expenditure that other plant has invested on the first plant.
Please discuss  this with your company head once again ,if value is negotiable go for the "Free Goods" Indicator which is the best choice

  • Freight charges should not add to Material Cost

    Dear All,
We are maintaining the Freight Charges condition in Pricing Procedure for Stock Transport Order process, as per SAP standard the Freight charges will add to the Material Cost for receiving Plant. But we dont want to add the Freight Charges for Material Cost.
Please let me know how to avoid the Freight Charges adding to the Material Cost.
    Thanks & regards,
    Dhanu

    Dear Dhanu,
Add the condition type at header. So it will not be distributed among individual line items.
I hope this will help you.

  • Freight charges not to be included in the Net value and Profit margin

    Hi Gurus,
My client dosent want shipping charges to be included in the net value, but it should appear in the price and also the shipping charges should not be considered in calculating the profit margin.
Another point is my sale price is cost plus 20% profit. So in my pricing starting point is EK02 and PR00 is 120% of EK02(maintained condition recored for PR00 as 120% of EK02). pls advice if this is correct way of doing it.

V/06  open the freight condition type and Tick the field accruals in control data 2
assign the account key in pricing for accruals.

  • Delivery free of charge Invoice should not Post to accounting

    Hello,
As per Client's specific Business process , till now ZERO value Invoice(Delivery Free of charge) is created (This is not SAP Standard).
No accounting document is generated because of ZERO value of Invoice.
    Only COPA Document is generated.
ZERO value invoice is generated because of all Pricing Conditions are Statistical in Pricing Procedure.
Now , Requirement is to create Invoice with Values & also Print values in Invoice, without posting it to accounting.
The simplest way to do it to remove Statistical check from all Pricing conditions , Values will start Printing.
But in this case ,Invoice getting started posted to accounting.
Q:- Please let me know the simplest way to create Invoice (Delivery Free of Charge) with values but on the same time , it should not post to accounting only COPA should be generated.
    (AR Electronic Invoice)
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi,
Free of charge Deliveries are basically of 2 types.
    1. When you send Promotinal materials for display purpose, Physician samples in pharma industry etc.
Those materials do not have any commercial values, they are send free-of-charge.
We process those materials with Order Type FD (Free-of-charge Delivery).
    2. Another case, when suppose you had sent 10 units of some material (commercially valued materials) for which customer has already paid the money to you.
After that suppose customer has found that 2 units are damaged or defective for which he has returned the 2 units to you.
Here, you have 2 options to compensate the customer, either you will issue a Credit Memo or you will replace with fresh units for those 2 returned units.
If, you will replace 2 fresh units to the customer, then it is called "Subsequent Delivery Free-of -chrge".
The Order Type used for the above is "SDF".
In this case, even though the material is a commercially valued material but we send it as free-of-charge as Customer has already has paid for it.
In both the above case, may it be "Free-of-charge Delivery (FD)" or "Subsequent Free-of-charge Delivery (SDF)", both the transactions are not relevant for Billing.
You can check the same in Sales document Item category KLN and KLX, both are not relevant for Billing. That means you can not create a commercial Invoice for those transactions.
In the above case, if required we create Proforma Invoice with reference to the Delivery document.
Proforma Invoice is a dummy Invoice and  not posted to Accounting.
So, in your case you can create a Proforma Invoice.

  • How to avoid freight charge in sales order and not to invoice with frieght?

    Hi Experts.
The customer group 5 indicates that the customer does not pay freight - ZLF5 condition, but still the freight is invoiced.
Here i don want to invoice the customer with freight charge.
    Please advice me regarding this.
    Thanks
    Raghu

Do the analysis of the pricing and check out if the condition record is maintianed for some other key combination(Access). I tihnk it must have maintained.
If the frieght condition needs to be populated based on the customer ggroup. maintain that access/Combination on top so that it gets the highest priority

  • Freight Charges in miro wrt Del Note

    Hi,
Please select the planned delivery charges in th MIRO screen drop down(above layout dropdown)

  • Freight Charges from PO into MIRO is not getting copied.

    Hi Experts,
Please see the document flow and the issue below.
    PO -> MIRO -> MIGO
Here, I have entered freight charges manually in PO, when use the reference to create MIRO.. the freight charges are not getting copied from PO into MIRO.
Why set of configuration I have to perform to solve this?

    Hi,
Open you condition type in tcode M/06 which you have created for freight and check the settings as below..
    in control data 1-
    Cond. class-A(Discount or surcharge)
    Calculat.type-A(Percentage)
    Cond.category-B(Delivery costs)
    Plus/minus-A(Positive)
    Check the Accrual Key.
Check whether Accrual key is provided in your pricing procedure for your freight condition.
In PO select your freight condition from conditions tab and click on detailed tab there provide your freight vendor in the same screen you can view the condition value which then flows to your MIRO when posting delivery charges.
While doing MIRO for posting delivery charges select planned delivery charges.
    Thanks

  • Freight Charges does not correctly show Tax % / calaculate

    Hi
When I try to add freight charges to an A/P invoice the tax group shows correctly (V1) but the Tax % shows 0.0 instead of 7.5 on every row/type of freight and therefore the Tax is not calculated automatically.
    Somebody an idea whats wrong?
    Thanks
    Franz

    Problem solved.
As a difference to all the other modules, A/P Invoice does not have the current day as default posting date (maybe this a bug). Since the Tax calculation needs the posting date, it does not correctly show the Tax on the main form as well as on the freight dialog, it shows the correct code, but always with 0%.
So, for correct tax calculation, always make sure the posting date is entered before.
@SAP: Change the behavior with the default posting date, as it is in all other modules.
    Best regards,
    Franz

  • Settlement of freight charges in KO88 not settled

    Dear Friends,
In KO88, In Settled values - Asset of value 10000 is displayed and freight charges 1000 is displayed.
The settlement run is completed with any errors.
I went to the GL Account - Asset under construction, here the freight charges 1000 are being displayed as open item.
Please suggest why freight charges are showing as open item. The user is saying the GL account should displayed zero balance.
    Regards
    Sridhar

    Dear Friends,
When trying to execute the KO88, I am getting the following message.
Either the sender is already settled, or there is nothing to settle
    Message no. KD213
    Diagnosis
    Possible causes:
The balance on the sender is zero.
There is nothing to settle for the settlement type selected.
    Example: Periodic settlement
    Distribution rule: Percentage rate 50%
    Receiver cost center 1
    Settlement type PER
Charge in the posting period:  $200
    Credit from earlier settlement:  $100
The distribution rule always applies to the period value (here: $200). At the month end, 50% (here $100) was settled.  This leaves nothing to be settled when the period close is repeated.  The balance (here: $100) can only be settled using full settlement or an additional distribution rule.
Please suggest how to solve the error.
    Regards
    Sridhar
