There has been a big issue today with people refreshing, reading and writing to iCal. when I check the server logs, I get:
[Fri Feb 2 12:23:37 2007] [error] [client 68.XXX.XXX.XX] modauthapple: Access to /intranet/ical/calendars/General.ics failed, reason: user 'user' does not meet 'require'ments for user/valid-user to be allowed access
Now the strange part. The guy that brought this to my attention, about 10 mins after as I was looking through logs, was then able to refresh his calendar and publish. I did not make any changes to the system at all.
This happened to 2 users. I have 2 other users that still have the issue. One of them that does the majority of publishing.
I have checked the realm, and she is a member of all 3 of the groups listed for reading and writing, but she cant. If I add her user directly to the realm, everything works OK. Remove her, back to the drawing board.
I am very confused and I am not sure where to look next. I can see it is some sort of permission problem, but being very new to the servers still, I am baffled. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm just kind of guessing here... but if user checks out OK when entered directly but does not do same when member of a group then 'maybe' this suggests a problem with 'memberd' ...
memberd is a daemon process used by the system to resolve group member-ships. It should always be running and responds to messages from the kernel or other processes using membership API calls. (from 'man memberd')
There has been discussions in File Services forum about 'possible' failings in memberd leading to file permission issues (it is just one of several reasons being discussed). However, there seems little downside in resetting the memberd cache - issue (in Terminal)... memberd -r
Due to the fact that the same user could successfully authenticate after a short time makes me more suspicious of a memberd or similar issue. But, as I said, I'm just guessing here from your description

I was getting the same behavior after Apple support had me delete some plist files to get Airplay going. I was also getting the following error:
the error occurred while processing a command of type 'writesettings' in the plug-in 'server vpn'
I went into ~/Library/Preferences/ and /Library/Preferences/ and deleted every plist contating the word server. I had to re-set up my server (meaning walk through some intial steps) but all of my settings were still there after that and everything started working again.
Just a thought, obviously try at your own risk but it worked for me.

Hi, I am using HP11 and iPlanet web server. When trying to upload files over HTTP using FORM ENCTYPE="multipart/form-data" that are bigger than a few Kilobytes i get a 408 error. (client timeout). It is as if the server has decided that the client has timed out during the file upload. The default setting is 30 seconds for AcceptTimeout in the magnus.conf file. This should be ample to get the file across, even increasing this to 2 minutes just produces the same error after 2 minutes. Any help appreciated. Apologies if this is not the correct forum for this, I couldn't see one for iPlanet and Web, many thanks, Kieran.

You didnt mention which version of IWS. follow these steps.
(1)Goto Web Server Administration Server, select the server you want to manage.
(2)Select Preference >> Perfomance Tuning.
(3)set HTTP Persistent Connection Timeout to your choice (eg 180 sec for three minutes)
(4) Apply changes and restart the server.
*Setting the timeout to a lower value, however, may prevent the transfer of large files as timeout does not refer to the time that the connection has been idle. For example, if you are using a 2400 baud modem, and the request timeout is set to 180 seconds, then the maximum file size that can be transferred before the connection is closed is 432000 bits (2400 multiplied by 180)

Add extra Business Objects to model CRM 2007: Web Client Records
Hello,
Could anyone tell me how I can add more Reference Objects in Case Management?
I copied the model CRM 2007: Web Client Records and added a new node (with for example Business Object Service Order) just like product and installations (which are visible under the reference objects)
I created a new element type under SCMG_SP_CASE_RECORD --> Z_CRM_SPS_CASE_RECORD and in the customizing we attached the model to the case type under Case Management --> Extended Customizing --> Process Actions --> Assign Action Profile to Case Type.
Still the new Business Object in the model isn't visible under Case Management in de WebUI.
Could anyone tell me if I'm missing something or is there a config guide available how to add more business objects?

ENDIn your case, I would simply do a #8 Reinstall OS X, that will wipe out all third party at boot kernel extension files and give you a nice clean new OS X free of corruption. This way it also clear ones your not using anymore.
..Step by Step to fix your Mac
Then I would see if the machine ran fine like that (minus some programs of course without their kernel extensions) with no KP's, if there are some more then it's one of the other programs your using currentl and reintall those.
If everything is fine, check for updates for those programs with at boot kernel extensions and install them one at a time carefully and seee when your problem returns.
Also run further through the Steps to eliminate any other issues. -

The MySQL client that the error refers to isn't the version
of MySQL,
but the MySQL library bundled with PHP. It sounds as though
your hosting
company has upgraded to MySQL 4.1 or higher, but is still
using PHP 4.

You can't. It's the way that the user account passwords are
stored in
MySQL. You need to get the hosting company to upgrade to PHP
5 or to
reset the passwords in MySQL using the OLD_PASSWORD()
function. This
needs to be done by someone with top-level administrative
privileges on
the database.

GreetzI found the solution. I used RealJ als editor and compiler and it seems he makes 3 files. client.class client$1.class and client$2.class. I thought these where backup classes. I included this 3 files in my JAR file and everything is going fine :)

I'm using a MAC, OS 10.6.8 Everything was working fine...Bing has been my homepage for about a year...and suddenly today, I get this: Ref A: c9ddebcdbe384b699213583b9cb35e23 Ref B: C3C254DD4C61488A5C28A7422E0656F3 Ref C: Fri Feb 15 16:50:47 2013 PST
Nothing I do, including downloading FireFox again and re-installing it makes a difference. Bing opens in my other browser (Safari), but nothing I've tried will get me anything but that Ref A message. I didn't change any pref settings, haven't had any other issues...it just stopped seeing Bing.

BB Browser compatibility with Communicator 2007 Web Client
I need to use the BB Browser to access a Communicator 2007 web client. After entering the URL, the device requests/runs scripts and when the progess bar completes, briefly flashes "loading" and loads a blank screen. Other folks can use this URL with an iPhone, any hope of getting this to work on the BB?

To Enhance a Standard Component
1, Go to SM 34 Transaction
2. Create an Enhancement Set in BSPWDVC_CMP_EXT
3, Then Go to Transaction bsp_wd_cmpwb
4,On the right corner there will be Enhance Component Button
5.Click , Then it will ask for an Application Give Z(component name ) to the application.
6.Give Repository Name.
7.To check - all component controllers, custom controllers and views will be in disabled mode.
To Enhance a standard view
1. Right click on the Standard view u want to enhance , Click on enhance.
2. To check the disabled view will be in editable mode.
