FRM-40401 Can't be handled !!!

Hi..
I was just wondering how could I trap this error that pops up, taking into consideration that I tried the On-Message and On-Error triggers but it didn't work..
There's one more thing that the data block on the form doesn't depend on any table in the database (I created it manually) , so may be this is the problem ?

The FRM-40401 error is just telling you that you don't have any changes to commit to any table in your datebase. Somewhere in your code your trying to do a commit_form and the form doesn't see any database changes to be made. Building a block manually isn't a problem, but if you want your data to be saved in a database table somewhere then you have to base the block on a database table.
That being said, you can eliminate the error by checking to see if any changes need to be applied to the database before you commit.
Create a form level trigger KEY_COMMIT.
In it put:
IF :SYSTEM.FORM_STATUS = 'CHANGED' THEN
COMMIT_FORM
END IF;
This will work wither your block is based on a table or not.

I have updated one table from form by writing update statement on the when-button-pressed triger.This update statement is doing its job fine and the table is updated.but iam finding 'FRM-40401: No Changes to save 'message in my console . Usually in Forms, you do not write SQL update statements to update your table. Instead, you create a base-table block, fetch the rows into the block, make your changes, and then commit. Forms automatic processing takes over and creates the update statements for you.
What you have done is bypassed the default automatic processing, and Forms is complaining. I would try to re-do the form and use a base-table block.

URGENT : FRM-41219 Can not find report : INVALID ID

The same problem i have also posted in forms forum..
i am getting the exception FRM-41219 when calling the report from my form with the method RUN_REPORT_OBJECT.
I m calling the report in my program unit method as follows :

Can I get handle to Database Row before an entity is deleted

We are using stored procedure to list, insert , update and delete entity objects.To use the stored procedure I override the default queries generated by Toplink and make use of the stored procedure query.The issue here is that my Stored Procedure requires more arguments (like name of the user doing the insert) than there are fields in the entity.I need to provide these argument values to the call.For this I do something like

Wow, you are correct there is no aboutToDelete, I guess manipulating the row before deletetion is not that common for our TopLink clients as this is the first request I have heard for it. I will add this request to our enhancement database. You might want to follow it up with support if it is a priority for you.
As a workaround you could use the preDelete event to change the stored procedure call with the user name argument (i.e. build the procedure call dynamically in preDelete and set it into the query. The query will have been cloned at this point so there should be no concurrency issues. Make sure when doing this that you do not set the deleteQuery in the descriptor query manager as this will override the original query if set.
Example:

I am new to oracle 9i. I am trying to convert the forms in 8i to 9i. While i am doing i have many forms calling reports thru run_product. Now i am changing those into run_report_object. Even though i am getting errors like FRM 41215: CAN NOT FIND REPORT , INVALID REPORT ID.

Quicktime-no sound & Broadcaster Error - Can't Open Handler (-2004)

Greetings - I made the following post in the Tiger forum and after 3 days have received no response. Hopefully I'll have better luck here. Thanks in advance.

Suddenly some problems.
My Fireworks 8 will no longer open. I get a Macromedia error pop-up stating "A problem was detected with your application. Please reinstall software to correct the problem."
So I reinstall.
Same problem! Reinstallation does not fix.
Also, I now have no sound with Quicktime. All other system sounds are fine, DVD player, sound applications like Peak. But Quicktime is silent.
Lastly - my Quicktime Broadcaster is no longer working.
Video is no longer appearing in the source preview. (although I can confirm that the camera is working when I click on options for "built in iSight." I DO see video in the "Video Adjustments" window.
Futhermore, if I click on "broadcast" I get this error "Broadcaster Error - Can't Open Handler (-2004)
Argghhh.
Any suggestions for me?

I doubt it is corrupt you could try to delete it but that will probably cause a problem with QT. What is the turn of events that took you to the registry?
This is a permissions issue. What account originally installed QT? Are you an administrator account? You need to take Full Control or Ownership of the item in the registry or QT with a administrator account. Whatever account you're using, now, either is not an administrator account or it is being denied permissions. At worse I would think you might have to create another administrator account to take ownership and full control. There are at least 2 on the computer now.

Frm - 41337 - can not populate the list from record group

I have created a form with 4 combo boxes. And i am trying to populate the 4 combo boxes dynamically.
Here is my table structure.

In the fist combo box i am retriving bus_function and second seq and third step1.
i wrote a trigger when_new_form_instance and i am calling a procedure from the trigger.
here is my procedure code.
