How can I solve the problem mentioned in the subject.
(I remember a solution in this forum so I searched the complete 26 pages but could't find it.)

FRM-40735 on-error raised unhandled exception ORA-06502

Hi there,
I have a form and all the items on canvas are base table items. If iam in normal mode and click on buttons, the LOVs show up correctly.
If i query records and i click on any of buttons to get LOV i get " FRM-40735 on-error raised unhandled exception ORA-06502". I checked insert_allowed,enabled,update_allowed properties and also format mask for each items and all are correct.
ANy help is appreciated.

Use the debugger to single step through your code line by line. The debugger will stop at the line where the error is occurring. Look at that line of code. You will probably see a problem with a data type or the data length.

I get the following error message: FRM-40735: ON-ERROR triggers raised unhandled exception ORA-06508
after login in a Web forms application.
I tried the solution as described in the Headstart Manual, e.g. recompiling the libraries in the specified order.
All the libraries are in the working directory and has been included in FORMS60_PATH.
All the involved stored procedures and packages are valid.
the same application works fine as C/S.
Any clue?
Used configuration:
Forms 6i
Designer 6i r 4.11
Headstart 6.5
Oracle 8.1.7.4
Oracle 9ias r 1 running on Sun Solaris 64bit version 5.8

This is actually a pretty generic error and I would suggest running through the debugger to see the line of code it is actually failing at - that may make it easier to track.

Today we changed few customization in CUSTOM.pll and regenerated it , but we received the following error message after login to application irrespective of any responsiblity/form
FRM-40735: ON-ERROR trigger unhandled exception ORA-06508
So we reverted CUSTOM.pll change and recompiled successfuly. However we are still getting same error.
Kindly give us little light on it.

I have installed Oracle Audit Vault Server Release 10.2.3.2 in Linux system and collection agent in Windows system. Adding and starting DBAUD collector went fine however adding REDO collector return back errors when executing avorcldb add_collector command as follow

I don't believe if this is missing solution from oracle community. I have decided to installed the collction agent and source database in linux system, so now both auditt vault server and collction agent are running in Linux system (but separately)
I am wondering, avorcldb add_collector -srcname ORCL -agentname avagent01 -colltype DBAUD and avorcldb add_collector -srcname ORCL -agentname avagent01 -colltype OSAUD -orclhome /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1 are working fine and I am able to start these collectors
The avorcldb verify -src Lugaosrv:1521:ORCL.LUGAOSRV -colltype ALL command also return good results

FRM-40735 / ORA-06508 when calling an attached package's procedure

Hello all,
I've a problem when calling a procedure in one of my attached libraries. the code is :
when upper(trim(NOT_MSG_NAME)) = 'REN_MSG_REQ_REG_PERMENANT' then SERV.CLFRM_PBL_NRQP_F(:Parameter.NOTIFICATION_ID);
and it gives me FRM-40735 stating that an ORA-06508 has occurred when calling the procedure.
Important and funny thing is, when I add the path to the library , It works fine!
When I attach it, removing the path, It goes wrong like I said..
the location of the library is:D:\DevSuiteHome\cgenf61\ADMIN , the path is added in FORMS_PATH and all the other
libraries attached to the form in the same path are working fine !
I'm using forms builder 10.1.2.0.2, and the platform is windows and I've migrated from forms 9.0.4.0.19
anybody having any ideas what the problem may be?

In fact, somebody had modified the formsweb.cfg adding two working directory directives (It's a shared PC!). I recon none of them works though no configuration error is raised. I omitted both of them and the problem is gone .

SOLVED -- FRM-40735: ORA-06508 when callin RP2RRO

we made change to the call of the reports when migrating to 10gr2.
in a when button pressed i receive the error FRM-40735: trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-06508 whe making a call to rp2rro.rp2rro_run_product.
I've checked the forms path and seems to be ok the rp2rro.plx is reachable.
I don't understand ???
Any suggestion?

Hi Christian,
You're rigth with the attachment.
What is strange is that a collegue made a prototype whith rp2rro compiled and it works.
Perhaps did he made the attachement by himself so that the name of the file location was rp2rro instead of rp2rro.pll.
I have made a test whith a simple form calling rp2rro_run_product.
The attachment said that rp2rro.pll is attached.
when I place rp2rro.pll in the forms path then I have ORA-06508 but when I place rp2rro.plx then it works ! Also when I place both the plx and pll files.
But for the others fmbs it does not work.
Let's say another thing. the call to rp2rro is made not directly in the form but in another attached pll ( which have itself rp2rro.pll attached)
FYI : in the forms_path i have first the pll location then after the fmb location.
Is there an preferable order ?
Or is there an order to compile first pll or first fmb?
I really don't understand what goes on here. ???

Deployment error: ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied

I created a new target schema against an existing runtime owner user id and runtime access user id.
But deploying the mapping now gives error as follows:

Can you please guide where the problem is?

Just to add some more informations about this topic. I created one extra target schema for the same runtime user id/runtime access user. And then tried to deploy the mapping and got the above error. And again, I removed the older target schema by using "OWB Runtime Assistant". And then tried to deploy mapping again and got the same error again.
Can you please help me out in this case?

Facing an error when change the sysadmin password

when i am going to change the sysadmin password i m facing the below error on linux in production environment. i cant understand why this error occured. i change the sysadmin password many times but never get any error. when going to change the sysadmin password the production instance is open.

Firefox Sync: "Unexpected error" when signing in, "Forgot Password", or Create account.

I noticed that there was a message that said reconnect to Sync. I clicked on it, and typed in my information, however, it keeps giving me an "Unexpected error" message in a red bar above my the e-mail address field. I've tried other tips, and now my bookmarks and add-ons are gone.
I was able to sign into: https://account.services.mozilla.com/. Please help me as I spent a lot of time and effort on my bookmarks.

hello hutothebert, firefox 29 and above use a new sync login system (https://accounts.firefox.com/) which isn't compatible with the old username/password/sync-key method (https://account.services.mozilla.com/) anymore.
however you could try this "hack" to get a new firefox version to connect to an old sync account:
enter '''about:config''' into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up), right-click somewhere in that page & create a new string preference named '''services.sync.username''' with a value like '''fake'''.
afterwards you should be able to connect to the old account through the firefox options > sync panel. if this worked and you could import your data successfully, please migrate to the new sync afterwards: [[How to update to the new Firefox Sync]]

Error when trying to change password

Two hours now trying to change the password for my WRT320N !!! Have latest version of EasyLink Advisor; running WINDOWS 7 on my PC. Geting error "Msg 100 000 000 UNHANDLED ERROR" when I try to change the password. Can anyone help...PLEASE?

Try to reset the router, please press and hold the reset button of the router for 30 seconds and power cycle the router. If the problem persists please use another computer for change your password.

IChat claims I have the wrong username/password, but I don't?

I've been trying to log into AIM but it's not letting me, there isn't even a "forgotten password" link. It used to work on my old Mac before it was stolen... And yes, it's still the same username/password because I've checked my mail.

If this is an @mac.com name then it will be best if you changed the Password at iForgot
If you have already done that did you keep the password to 16 characters or Less ?
Apple encourages more but the AIM servers iChat logs in to can only deal with a max of 16
