Frozen N900 - Help please
Hi folks,
I'm after some assistance with my new N900.
I tried last night to check my mobile was up to date using the Nokia Software Updater and it seemed to freeze with only a second to go. I left it for an hour just in case and came back to a darkened screed with the Nokia logo in the background and the amber light flashing every so often.
I've changed the tried to repeat the update but either of my PCs don't seem to recognise that a mobile is connected via USB to the software updater and I've even changed the battery with a fully charged one from my 5800.
Is there anybody out there that can give simple to follow instructions as to how to get the mobile back to life. I've only had it less than a week and it was going so well up until last night. It's not locked to any UK network as I got it directly from Nokia as part of a testing project.

have you installed any themes on it?
have you tried removing the battery for ten mins?
do you have trouble with wifi there is an issue with that now and nokia are aware and are ment to have a fix in the next update

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Ipod touch scree frozen on zoomed mode despite restore - help please
my ipod touch screens have been frozen on zoomed mode . i did a restore thro itunes and even then it remains in a zoomed mode . screen is not responsive . any help please or is it a vist to the genius bar.

See this article about how to disable the Zoom feature. Keep in mind that the controls or actions to navigate with your iPod will be slightly different due to this feature being on, which would explain why you are getting no response when touching the screen.

my itouch scrren is frozen, it wont slide to unlock..i have done all that was adviced with the buttons but that didnt work..can anyone help please?
Force iPad into Recovery Mode
1. Turn off iPad
2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times. -
Adobe DNG converter has frozen, help please x
Can anyone help, my Adobe DNG converter has frozen and wont work, I have uninstalled it and updated to the latest one, now I cant find the updated one on my computer as it wont show up under search, and the other one has frozen and wont work..... Help please as I now cant edit any photos!!!!!
I'm having A very Similar program with DNG Converter 8.4 and 8.6! The Program was working fine until 2 weeks ago, now when I open the software, it doesn't load completely and when I click the application window up, all of the information fields are clear, showing the desktop through the window. Anyone else no what to do about this? I'm running Windows 8.1

I was experiencing alot of slowness, with frozen beach balls, yesterday got the solid blue screen, started up with installer disc and did the software and hard drive tests all said ok, then with my inexperience with imac I reinstalled the OS and lost all my files, I never got any invitation to back up.
Can I recover these somehow?
imac still slow and doesn't seem right at all....

Finder cant find anything called ''previous system'', looked in Spotlight folder but didnt see anything or anything to look with there, never used it before, sorry.....
My damage limitation now is, can fotos be restored on a digi camera that I had only just transfered and deleted from it and can I sync my iphone bookmarks to my new user account?

Hold down the power button until the screen turns black.
Then wait about a minute then press the power button once to turn it back on.
If you can't shut it down, if you're in the Walnut Creek I think you are, there's an Apple Store on South Main Street.

Macbook stuck on white screen with apple logo. help please
I have a macbook (black model) and while I was surfing on internet it is frozen. so I shut it down and restarted. When I restarted, it stuck on white screen with gray apple logo and seems like booting but nothing happens.
after that, I restarted again and put installation disc (leopard) without pressing any key and it opened normally. I backed up os with time machine but in one hour it is frozen again.
restarted again but this time it did not boot normally. so i tried booting from cd with c key, it opened installation screen. I have opened disk utility top repair disk, but when I click on disc image, repair / verify disk buttons are unavailable to click and S.M.A.R.T status is not supported.
After all, I tried to erase and install system several times, but after language section when I click agree to terms and conditions, mac freeze again.
So, I do not know what to do. Any help please?
Note: I already tried PRM and Safe Mode. (after safe mode it took me to installation screen again and nothing changed.)
Any help would be much appreciated!
Uptade: Also, opened system profiler and clicked on Serial-ATA, it seems loading but do not show any info. stucked again! help please

You need to select "MacintoshHD 10.5.8 not "disc image" in order to run Disk Utility and Verify and if necessary, Repair the disk.
That's why you are seeing this dialog.

Also, run the Apple Hardware Test.

30Gb Gen 5 won't reset, Help please
Hi folks
Ipod started playing up today - very slow menu movement. had it in my dock when it froze. I pressed the off button on my dock remote and it switched off as normal. went back to it this evening and it switched on frozen. So I thought i'd do a reset. plug into computer, computer dings, ipod does not ap[ear on system. flicked onto hold. no difference.
If the ipod won't go to hold how can i reset????

hi, basically i was trying to get some stuff off my phone and like a idiot i thought if i restored factory settings it will go but now my phone has the two buttons at the bottom like from v.30 instead of the telephone and contacts buttons from v.40 and i can only either have short cuts at the top or the contacts bar at the top not both i would really like to know how to get it back can anyone help please =[

I keep being asked to update my Safari but when I do a Software update it scans but never gives me a list and just says no new updates. Help please!
There are no updates to either OS 10.5.8 or Safari 5.0.6.
If you need a later version of Safari you must first upgrade your operating system to a later version of OS X. -

I have a Bose soundtouch system .Until today I could play my iTunes music through it via air player . .I have just uploaded the latest upgrade from iTunes and now I am unable to connect to the Bose system . Can anyone help please? I can connect via my iPad and by using the Bose app so it is not the Bose at fault
@puebloryan, I realize this thread is a bit old, but I have encountered a similr problem and wondered if you had found a solution. I've been using home sharing from itines on my PCs for years, but two days ago, it suddenly stopped. I can share from my Macs, but not from the ONE PC library where I keep all my tunes. I tried all the usual trouble-shooting measures.
After turning home sharing off on the PC's iTunes, turning it back on and turning some other settings off and on, my Macs and Apple TV could briefly "see" the PC library, but as soon as I try to connect -- the wheel spins for a bit and then the connection vanishes. It's as if they try and then give up.
Since this sounds so similar to your problem, I was hoping you finally found a solution. I am also starting a new thread. Thanks! -
My iMac 24 can no longer be paired with the keyboard; it doesn't recognise any keyboard at boot up, even the one it is paired with. Can anyone help, please?
Thank. SimonBrian - The batteries are fine and there has only every been one keyboard paired with it. We have tried my MacPro keyboard as well, and it will not even recognise that there is a discoverable keyboard nearby.
