Now the two 15GB show both a sign (a Battery with triangle that has a exclamation mark in it) it is frozen in this stage I can not do anything to change. also my computer does not see the i pod plugged in.
Please need help. we are using our i pods constantly

Hi,
Vodafone didn't tell me they would replace the phone though. They provided the worst customer service on that call that I've had in the 9 months I've been with them, and it has never been very good at any point in that time.
The lady sighed repeatedly on the phone, told me that I didn't have insurance because the phone is on a pay-as-you-go, that I couldn't prove the phone was bought from a Vodafone shop (it was a gift at Christmas), and told me there was nothing more Vodafone would do for me. Very unhelpful.
After my fourth call, I've now spoken to someone who has confirmed my phone was first registered last Christmas, and has agreed that the phone remains under warranty. They are sending it away to hopefully repair or replace it.
Fingers crossed

  • When I turn off I get a battery sign with an exclamation mark?

When I turn on I get the apple logo only nothing else . then when I turn off I get a horizontal battery sign with an exclamation mark within a triangle, looks just like a traffic sign .
    Thanks in anticipation Harveybonk

    Hiya,
That is a problem with the battery in Older iPod Minis. If you have never replaced it, then I'd start thinking about it. My company www.dr-pod.com can do this for you. However, to cure your problem, you should leave your iPod connected to power for an hour, then you should see some activity on screen. Don't disconnect, leave it there for about 8 hours, to fully charge the iPod's battery.
    Thanks,

  • Battety problems - blank screen wit battery sign with red line

I have the blackberry 8900 curve. Recently when I put my phone on charge it would turn my BB off and turn it self back on again. My battery was about 2% and I put it on charge and the phone turned off but when I looked at my phone the red light came on and then blank screen with a battery sign with a red line through it.
I got some advice to take out battery, sim card and memory card. Which I did and my BB turned back on. However my battery was still dead so I put it back on charge and it turned off and since then my BB hasn't turned back in. I've left it on charge and nothing.
Would really appreciate it if someone could help me out on this.

  • Blank screen showing battery sign with red line - possible solution

    Hi to everybody,
I had a little issue with my Blackberry curve 8350i, but I think this might go with several models. One day my Blacberry updated an application and restarted, but when restarting suddenly I got a blank screen showing a battery sign with a red line. I took out the battery and put it in again, but no luck. I searched on many forums if anyone experienced the same as me. I found a lot of topics but no solution. I called tech support of my service provide and fortunatelly I talked to a tech guy who was willing to help. He said that this error message usually might appear when the battery is faulty, not original (not my case) or device is not working, but before taking a final statement he wanted me to try something first. He said to take out the battery, the SIM card and any extern memory card. Then to clean any contacts with air. I followed his instructions and after that the device worked again without any problems. I would like to share this experience on this forum maybe this will help other to to solve similar issues.
    Best regards,
    Julix

  • My bb 9380 won't turn on while the screen shows one battery sign with red cross mark ( not charging sign )

my bb 9380 won't turn on while the screen shows one battery sign with red cross mark ( not charging sign ), i think the battery drained and switch it for charging but it will show only not charging sign . i bought this phone before 9 months, whats the solution for this ?

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
    Remove the battery
    Wait 15 minutes
    Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. Note carefully please that "new" and "know good" are not necessarily the same things. While rare, a "new" battery certainly could be defective. Rather, the simplest (and least costly, btw) method to conduct this test is to find someone with an identical BB who has no issues...trade batteries and see what happens.
Good luck and let us know!

  • Battery sign with lightening strike across it?

Hi my ipod has stopped working. The Apple sign comes up when I reset it, then the Apple sad face comes up, then a large animation of a battery sign comes up with a lightening strike through it.
Can anyone tell me what this means and how to get my ipod working?
    Cheers

"a large animation of a battery sign comes up with a lightening strike through it."
That icon means the battery is charging:

"the Apple sad face comes up"
If you haven't already done so, have a look at the troubleshooting steps here:

  • BB z10 large red battery sign with an exclamation in the middle

    Hi Everyone,
I had a problem with OS on my z10 yesterday, and i reinstalled my OS using BB link 5 times (reload device software) , then Autoloader 8 times and then eventually online on blackberry website on Internet Explorer. After successful installation of the software, and turning on the device resulted in a large red battery sign in the middle of the screen with an exclamation in the center.
It seems to be stuck in a loophole, as i have recharged my phone for the past 10 hours. About 6 hours on a usb cable i use at work and about 4 hours at home on a wall charger. I have tried countless times the three button reset technique(power, vol +, vol -) with no success. Its been more than 24hours since my phone bricked, any help would be much appreciated.
    Cheers,
    Emad

  • HT201401 phone wont charge when i plugged it in cause it was dead it doesnt even give me the battery sign with the electric bolt

    phone wont charge

Plug iPhone in with Wall Charger for 10 minutes. It may turn ON itself. If still nothing, keep on charger and Reset, hold both Home and Power buttons until the iPhone begins to start. This can take about 20 seconds while on charger. If still nothing, all iPhone 4S have full Warranty. Make Genius reservation and take iPhone, along with Wall Charger and USB Cable (they are covered by Warranty, too, and could be faulty) to Apple for resolution.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Given what you describe, I think you've done all of the diagnostics that you can...kudo's to you for having thought to try what you did! But, what it indicates is a hardware-level problem in the BB itself, somehow not communicating properly with the battery. For this, only a qualified service technician with the BB in their hands can diagnose any further...and that can't be done at an internet-distance.
If your BB is still under warranty, then take it in for evaluation. Your warranty service provider is whoever you bought the BB from -- your mobile network provider or your authorized reseller would be who you go talk to next.
If your BB is out of warranty, then you can talk to those same folks about other options.
    Good luck!

  • My itouch is frozen on the itunes sign with the charger cord going into it. I have tried to restart hold down the two buttons but nothing changes. When I plug it into itunes it doesn't read it and I ran that test and nothing changes...HELP PLEASE!

Frozen itouch with the itunes sign with the charger going into it.  I have held down both buttons for 10 seconds I have re ran the tests but itunes doesn't read it still

Put your phone in DFU mode. Connect it to itunes and hold down the power and home buttons at the same time for ten seconds. Then while keeping the home button pressed let go of the power button. Keep holding until a message pops up saying your phone is in recovery mode. Then sync it back up. This will erase everything from ipod and restore it back from itunes.
