FRUSTRATED.....BT VISION SERVICE WHERE ARE YOU?

I JOINED BT BECAUSE OF THE GREAT PRICES AND SERVICES THAT WERE ON OFFER, I WENT FOR THE GOLD PACKAGED, UNLIMITED BROADBAND AND ANYTIME CALLS.....AND SKY SPORTS.
NOW THE COMPLETION DATE WAS 16TH AUGUST...THE BROADBAND WENT LIVE AND SO DID THE PHONE LINE....BUT NO BT VISION, SO A CALL TO BT TO ASK WHAT IS GOING ON, I WAS TOL IT COULD TAKE UP TO MIDNIGHT BEFORE THIS WOULD BE ACTIVATED, SO I THOUGHT MAYBE I WAS A BIT EAGER TO RECIEVE MY NEW TV CHANNELS....SO I WAITED.
WAKE UP IN THE MONRING  TO FIND NO BT VISION, SO AGAIN I CALLED BT, BUT TOO NO AVAIL, NO ONE COULD ANSWER ME AS TO WHAT WAS HAPPENING, BEING PASSED FROM DEPARTMENT TO DEPARTMENT I WAS TOLD THAT THIS WILL BE SORTED AFTER 24 HOURS IT WAS JUST A HITCH WITH THE BROADBAND NOT BEING SET UP, KNOWING THAT MY BROADBAND WAS SET UP I FIGURED THAT I'D GIVE BT BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT, LEFT IT 24 HOURS, AGAIN NO BT VISION, AGAIN I CALLED UP AND THIS TIME I WAS TOLD THAT MY ORDER WAS NOT COMPLETE AND THAT THIS WAS PREVENTING THE BT VISION BEING ACTIVATED, NO EXPLANATION AS TO WHAT THIS MEANT BUT I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE SORTED WITHIN 24 HOURS AS THEY WILL CALL THE RELEVANT DEPARTMENT AND GET MY ACCOUNT MERGED PROPERLY THIS WOULD TAKE 24 HOURS TO DO AND THE BT VISION WILL THEN BE ACTIVATED.....WELL THE LADY I SPOKE TO ADVISED ME SHE WOULD CALL ME TODAY AT 12.30PM TO ADVISE THAT THIS IS DONE, FIRST OF ALL, CALL CAME IN AT 3.45 AND SECOND OF ALL, GUESS WHAT NO BT VISION, I WAS TOLD THAT THE DEPARTMENT SHE CONTACTED HAD ADVISED HER THIS WOULD BE COMPLETED WITHIN THE 24 HOURS SHE STATED TO ME YESTERDAY, BUT THEY HAD NOT DONE IT, I WAS THEN TOLD THAT I WILL BE CONTACTED WHEN SHE HAS BEEN GIVEN MORE INFORMATION, NO TIMESCALE, NOT THAT THEY MEAN ANYTHING TO BT AT ALL.....SO HERE I AM STILL WAITING FOR A SERVICE TO BE SORTED, ONE IN WHICH I HAVE SIGNED A CONTRACT WITH BT, AND TO WHICH THEY ARE NOT ADHERING TOO.....SO I HAVE TO SIT HERE AND WAIT....COMPLAINTS HAVE BEEN RAISED BUT NO ONE AT BT SEEMS TO CARE.....
MY ACTIVATION WAS MONDAY 16TH AUGUST AND IT IS STILL NOT SORTED, I HAVE NO IDEA WHATS GOING ON, CAN SOME ONE HELP PLEASE?

Hi ComputerGeek,
I can not even set up my vision box, told not to register my vision card until the vision service has gone live, which was meant to be completed monday 16th, i don't rate the BT vision number to call as i have done to find out what is going on, and each time i am told a different story, BT don't seem to think my broadband or phone are connected, despite me advising them they are......
But the matter has been escalated as of yesterday and have got a direct line to call regarding problems on this, but will hopefully be resolved by tomorrow, lets hope.
The engineer cancelled the appointment to come out on monday as was in the area prior to this date and set it up then but failed to send the auto confirmation or something to complete the order, so by trying to be super effienct it has worked out the total opposite...
Hope it's sorted by tomorrow as I would like to watch some football

    smg123 where are you?
    I have a question related to post:
    http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp?forum=31&thread=347231
    Was the dll ever completed and is it available?
    I know smg123 changed usernames last year because of password problems...but I haven't seen that username (smg123NewAndImproved) since December.

    although i still would like to see if that dll was ever made, I was able to do what I needed on my own, creating a shortcut in windows from java.

  • @ Nokia - where are you?

    OK, so as this is the official Nokia Support Discussions forum I'm wondering  where is the input from Nokia addressing all the many, many complaints from disgruntled owners of Nokia devices after this screwed-up Belle 'update'?

    Even if I'm not as satisfied with Belle (yet) as with Anna or previous Eseries platforms, I don't think it's fair to complain so much and blame Nokia for Belle, being "horrible", "non-user friendly", "step backward" and other negative adverbs.
    Belle's been out for 2 weeks and getting used to the new UI takes some time. Some may like it immediately (I do), some need some time, others don't like it. There will always be people complaining. These same people will "not buy Nokia ever again" and will rather buy iPhone. Well, let's wait for a week and they'll login to the Apple's discussion forum asking "how is it possible that my XY app doesn't sync with my WZ software" or "this is much easier to do with Nokia, hey Apple, where are you guys?". Finally, "I overpayed this iStuff and expected it to work. I'll never buy an iPhone again.". That's life.
    Think about - it's a nice gesture from Nokia to offer a FREE upgrade to Belle. It was OUR decision to upgrade, Nokia didn't made us to do it. Perhaps it would be wiser to make Belle payable (couple of euros, make it 20). THEN people should read the specs, what it features and decide if it fulfills the expectations. Making a formal complaint (reclamation) would be reasonable since you payed for it. And Nokia would benefit $$ and could actually pay the SW engineers from this income. But it was for free.
    Personally, I like the interface and overall performance - it's smooth(er), battery life is extended, it's easier to control the BT, 3G, Wifi as some examples. I realized some bugs but am sure they'll fix them. I'm annoyed about Wifi bug, absence of remaining characters in SMS messages, but I think I'll survive.
    I'm sure "Nokia" is following our discussions but releasing fixes every week is not even possible, reasonable nor feasible. Take time, get a buglist not only from 100 non-satisfied users but from larger pool of users and focus on the most important ones. These phones must work in Germany, California, Hongkong, Christchurch, Novosibirsk, Tahiti, Patagonia,... different languages, fonts, mobile network properties, operators -- you know what I mean?

  • Lenovo Support - where are you

    Hi
    I need some help and I am running out of options of who to approach.
    5 months ago I purchased a top spec'd T440s in New Zealand. I am now living in Chile and two months ago the machine failed. As it is covered under international warranty I contacted Lenovo and they arranged a support ticket and told me to take it into the local repair agent in Chile which I did. Three weeks later the local repair agent said they were unable to repair the machine and that Lenovo would arrange for a replacement unit to be made available to me. A few days later Lenovo Latin America got in touch and confirmed that they would organise a replacement machine. This was 3 weeks ago and I have heard nothing since. The local repair agent has washed their hands of it saying they have passed it back to Lenovo and no one at Lenovo is answering anything. The problem is compounded further by the fact I don't speak Spanish.
    I have no idea what to do next or who to approach. What can I do?

    If there is a hardware problem with the phone, a service center should fix it under warranty. If they're not doing their job properly then I suppose you should be able to report or at least complain about them to Nokia via the Careline.
    edit: oh wait - where did "Fonemenders" exactly say your phone would be "coming back" from without being fixed? Aren't they supposed to fix ít themselves as Nokia sure doesn't fix any phones themselves, after all that's what all those service centers are for?Message Edited by wicker_man on 13-Mar-2007

  • HT3529 where are you smiley faces and symbols for texting on the iphone 5c?

    Where are the smiley faces and symbols for texting?

    On the emoji keyboard. Go to Settings>General>Keyboard>Add Keyboard and select emoji. Then you will have a small globe key near the number key on the left side of the keyboard. This will allow for selecting between the regular keyboard and the emoji keyboard.

  • 10.8.4 where are you

    cannot wait for 10.8.4 to be released cause 10.8.3 is not working on mine machine so frustrating so best option now to wait any one give me a clue when the next version comes out so my computer works a1 ok again?

    Here are some suggestions for getting the best results from this site.
    Give details of the problem. Don't just state your conclusion as to what's causing it. A remark such as "I think I have a virus," or "I got an error," or "X doesn't work" conveys no information. If X did work, you wouldn't be here. Instead, you should post something like this: "I did A; I was expecting B; but I got C instead." Include the complete text of any error messages you saw and where you saw them: in an application window, a CrashReporter window, a log, or whatever. Also include the steps you’ve taken yourself, if any, to try to resolve the issue. If the problem is of recent origin, did you make any changes to your setup just before you first noticed it? Is the problem reproducible or intermittent? That is, does it always manifest itself when you take a certain action, or only at unpredictable times?
    Before posting, ask yourself whether it’s likely that you are the the only person ever to have had this problem. If not, search the discussions for answered questions similar to yours. If you found any pertinent information, but it didn't help, include details.
    Post in the most relevant discussion area. Usually that means the area for the type of Mac you're using, if the problem is hardware-related, or for the OS X version you’re running, if it’s more software-related. Some other Apple products, such as Safari, iTunes, and iPhoto, have their own forums.
    If asking about third-party software, specify what it is, the website where you got it (if applicable), and what version you have. Ask the developer for help first. Include the results of that contact in your message: what you were told and what you did.

  • Apple Customer Service - Where can you find it?

    Why can't you contact Apple support, the automated system ask a question then automatically gives you a bogus high call volume and hangs up on you. Frustrated, On the 12th I stayed up most of the night to pre-order, at 3am on the morning of the 12th the website was not available, I ordered a 6plus around 9:00am. The conformation said 1 to 2 week delivery, and I spent $1,000.00 for the 6 plus, when I went back to check the order status it now says 3 to 4 week delivery. Then I tried to contact Apple Customer Service "what a Joke" to see if I could expedite shipping, it is impossible to get someone to actually talk to you, when you follow the instructions of the voice automated system and provide the answers the system ask, it then says call volume is to high, I have done this three days in a row, and get the same message regardless the time of day. I ordered the 6 plus because my corporate team asked if they can switch from the droids. If this is what Apple calls Customer Service, I will think twice about ordering X,XXX plus phones. What happen to Apple, they use to be service oriented. If you can't speak to someone about issues, and needs, then the phrase CSR Customer Service is invalid, and does not exist my world. If I treated my customers this way, I would lose $500mm in business. What a hype, take the order, then change delivery several days later.

    Did you call the 1 800 MY APPLE number? Or try chat on the Apple store site?
    https://secure2.store.apple.com/us/sign_in/order?c=aHR0cHM6Ly9zZWN1cmUyLnN0b3JlL mFwcGxlLmNvbS91cy9hY2NvdW50L2hvbWV8MWFvc…
    Other than this, there isn't anything your fellow users here can help you with unfortunately.

  • HCM - Object services - Where are stored attachement ?

    I have already done quite a lot of debugging around this functionality but I still can't answer a simple question.
    When I use the Service object toolbar (in transaction PA30 for example) I can download a file from local client to the SAP system.
    I suppose the file is stored in the Business object repository (BOR) but I can't make it clear whether it is stored as a file on the server filesystem or in the DB.

  • Abuse, where are you?

    I love you.... GLApplet? ;)

    I did say I'd have a look at it - and im sorry I havn't, i've been distracted with numerous other projects I have on the go atm.
    Im not going to rewrite your app., cos that would take too long, and I don't think it would realy help you a great deal.
    I have had a look through your sourcecode though, and made a few notes :-
    1st off, having a base class which contains the fundamentals of a game (as you have done) is a good idea.
    However, it can also make following the code confusing, especially when you are jumping from base class to subclass, and back again repeatedly.
    This is especially true when you have confusingly named methods. (As for GLApplet has)
    Your flow of control is also somewhat confused.
    Here we go....
    Your main game loop is in the subclass GLApplet. This is good, as all games have the concept of a game loop. The class can then delegate the rendering and updating to a subclass.
         public void run() {
              long time = System.currentTimeMillis();
              long sleepTime;
              boolean toSkip = false;
              while (Thread.currentThread() == animator) {
                   // Display the next frame of animation.
                   if (!toSkip)
                        repaint();
                   else {
                        toSkip = false;
                        //time += delay;
                   manageObjects();
                   // Delay depending on how far we are behind.
                   try {
                        time += delay;
                        sleepTime = Math.max(0, time - System.currentTimeMillis());
                        if (skippingEnabled && sleepTime < 15)
                             toSkip = true;
                        Thread.sleep(sleepTime);
                   } catch (InterruptedException e) {
                        break;
         }From that game loop, I can see that you are using passive rendering [repaint()], and you are delegating your object updates to a method manageObjects().
    The repaint() method, puts a repaint event on the Event Dispatch Thread, which will then be serviced.. eventually.
    When it is serviced, the EventDispatchThread will call the update(Graphics) method of the Component that requested a repaint.
    Now, the normal implementation of the update(Graphics) method, is to simply clear the Component with the background color, and then call paint(Graphics).
    You would then place any additional rendering in the paint(Graphics).
    However, you have overridden the update(Graphics) - and placed your custom rendering in this method, and never call paint(Graphics)
         public void update(Graphics g) {
              // Erase the previous image
              g2d.drawImage(staticBackground, 0, 0, null);
              // Paint the frame into the image
              paintFrame(g2d);
              // If out of focus, draw the outOfFocus image so
              // users will know how to reactivate the game
              if (!hasFocus() && outOfFocusNotifierEnabled) {
                   g2d.drawImage(outOfFocusImage, 0, 0, null);
              // Paint the image onto the screen
              g.drawImage(offImage, 0, 0, null);
         }Here, it appears you are doing double buffering manually.
    Firstly, the clearing of the background should realy be left upto the subclass - as not all games want to do this.
    Delegating the rest of the rendering to the paintFrame(Graphics) method is ok (though the name isn't so good...)
    The out of Focus managing is fine also.
    Now, here is a dodgy bit :-
         public void paint(Graphics g) {
              update(g);
         }This method is bad bad bad bad bad.
    paint(Graphics) should never call update(Graphics), the default behaviour of update(Graphics) is to call paint(Graphics), the only reason this doesn't cause your app. to go catastophically wrong, is because you have overridden update(Graphics) so it nolonger calls paint(Graphics).
    As your app. stands, this method will never ever be called, unless by you explicitly.
    Also in GLApplet you have many methods, that are defined, but not implemented.
    Now, you may have done this for a reason - so you can actually instanciate a 'do nothing' GLApplet object for testing.
    However, in most cases you would want to define these empty methods as abstract.
    This will prevent GLApplet from being instanciated, and will also force subclasses to implement the methods defined as abstract. (preventing a programmer from forgetting to implement them)
    Another thing you should change. Your super class defines the backbuffer as a protected member variable.
    This is bad, what you want, is for your subclass to have no knowledge of how the base class (GLApplet) is doing the double buffering.
    If the subclass can access the back buffer directly, this breaks any encapsulation you were trying to attain.
    Now, having a look at the game class(FallingDown) itself (which subclasses GLApplet), I'm just getting more confused :-/
    You are again overriding the update(Graphics g) method - making whatever the superclass is designed to do, redundant.
         public void update(Graphics g) {
              // Erase the previous image
              // Draw backdrop for this gamestate
              g2d.drawImage(backDrop[gameState], 0, 0, null);
              // Paint the frame into the image
              paintFrame();
              // Paint the image onto the screen
              g.drawImage(offImage, 0, 0, null);
         }Within this method you are again calling a paintFrame method, but this time there is no Graphics parameter?!
    so, your subclass is not overriding the paintFrame method defined in the super class, it is defining its own brand new 1??
    This is an error also.
    If I were you, I would forget about having a base 'game' class(GLApplet), until you have the fundamentals of a rendering loop worked out fully.
    This will prevent any confusion through inheritance, and will simplify your code tremendously.
    Your basic game loop will look like :-
    public void run()
       while(running)
          Graphics g = //<get your graphics context, this will vary, depending on how you are doing your double buffering>;
          update(timeDelta); //update the game by an amount of time. (this can be constant, or variable - depends on how you are doing your animation)
          render(g);
    }

  • Apple, where are you now that we need you?

    I've had a Ipod for several years and continually run into the problem with "lost" song files. And, no, I haven't been moving or deleting the files. In coming to this discussion group, I have posted my question and see that there is page after page with the same question. Sometimes answers are helpful, sometimes not. My question is this:why is Apple, a multi-billion dollar company with resources coming out of their yin yang, not helping out here. Why do they leave the burden of answering these questions to the same people that are having them? It can't be that they don't know the answers. It must be that rather than hire someone to answer, or at least codify and separate helpful answers from not so helpful, they throw consumer's problems to the wind and go on their merry way. And this is the good computer company! I would suggest Apple takes a short break from introducing new products and spends just a few moments on customer service. Can anyone imagine a car company telling its customers that if they have a problem, go and find someone else with the problem and work it out? What nonsense! What arrogance! As long as providing answers cost money, consumers are going to be in a "discussion" group which is a euphemism for "lost in the ozone."

    I really do understand what you are saying but itunes does not monitor the these forums & they charge a few for customer support if you call them. Have you considered switching to yahoo! Music Jukebox their customer service is great but their software is 2 years old & may have see a big differance in customer support. I switched from yahoo! to itunes because of few issues with their software I'm just waiting until they fix it. I have yet to have problems with itunes! That's why all my music files is not in the itunes folder because I rip most of my CD's with Yahoo! Just so that you know the issues I had with yahoo! were very minor I just was getting really annoyed with no artwork/Incorrect artwork & sometimes not being able to rate artist & albums & one more thing sometimes yahoo! would the display the info for song playing it was totally differant/artist playing but these things may not happen to you i have nearlly 14,000 tracks on my computer. Yahoo! Really is a good Player but It may take some time before I go back to yahhoo! & besides I really like the coverflow display in itunes

  • Hard Disk Memory - where are you?

    I have the MacBook Air a few months now. I've had the error message 'Start up Disk Full', so I cleared off old vids etc and got a few clean up tips from YouTube videos. That's ok for now.
    I've used Disk Discovery to see what level of memory is taken up in files on the hard disk. From what I can gather 37Gb is taken up by everything - user and system files etc. My system resources say I have 12Gb free and the HD is 64Gb. I can't uncover where the other 15Gb is.
    So, my question is two fold - How much of my 64Gb should be taken up by system files (I assumed about 10Gb) and where can I locate the remainder of my memory?
    All hints & tips welcome. I want to fill up a 32Gb iPod from my iTunes.
    Ta,
    Phil.

    If you go to the Apple Menu, select "About This Mac", and click "Storage", you'll get a sense of how much everything is taking up on your Mac.
    The system is going to take up about 10-15GB of space.
    Here are some hints to eek out some more storage.
    Download and run Monolingual. It is free and will remove all the languages you are not going to use within the OS. For me, I only speak and use English, so I removed everything but English and saved about 1.5GB of storage space.
    I purchased Clean My Mac 2 and recovered almost 5GB of storage by removing junk like log files, etc. that build up within OS X. It also has a nice feature which will show you all the files that haven't been used in a long time and/or take up a lot of space. There are ways to do this manually in Finder, but this program makes it a lot more straightforward.
    After installing applications I look in the app folders for crap like sample files, readme files, legal files, etc. - all the crap that gets installed that you're never going to actually use or look at. That isn't a ton of space, but good for a few hundred MB. Every little bit counts in my book.
    Always keep about 10% of your storage free. The OS constantly writes/deletes information and the less free space it has to work with the slower it will perform.
    Hope this helps!

  • Where Are You @ Audition 4+???

    Hello  I really need to speak to the makers of audition.  Your product is so great i cannot for the life of me see why your letting this product slip away.  I have been using Adobe Audition my entire life.  Your product allwos me to work faster and more creative then any other product on the market.   Audition 3 is almost a perfect product.  It really dosent need anything else for me except a few features are missing for me..
    We need windows 7 64bit compatability.  Majority of pc users by now have windows 7 64bit working with audio / video these days.  The reason is we need to take advantage of all the ram and speed of a 64 bit software.  for small studios getting by with the 32 bit is wonderful.. but we use a ton of rack plugins for tube compressors, reverbs, and effects through out our sessions.   we need to keep the pc running smoothly in very large sessions.
    We absolutely need a better universal way to use our own DAE controllers.  You left us stranded here with one option.  The mackie control.  What about those of us using the Mackie Hui or other controllers?  I have searched the depths of the internet looking for a way to get my Mackie HUI working and have went as far to almost hire a programmer to help using the Audition SDK.  If anyone can help on this subject please shead you light on me here im so tired of looking for a solution.. thanks
    Your taking forever on getting your team together and taking your product to the next level... Meanwhile die hard supporters of your company are getting left in the dark and your rival companies are luring us slowly in by listening to what we need and delivering it..  For instance ive seen pro tools copy a few of your features through out their updates because people wrote them asking them to have that feature.. One nice feature they havent stolen yet is in the edit window you can highlight the area and simply move volume up and down as needed.  Love that feature while mixing down..  You guys have in my opinion the best audio functioning software and layout but your missing midi controller compatability..
    Over the years ive been listening to everyone else say adobe audition is low and how i should  upgrade to pro tools, nuendo, or something professional... But i defended my love for this software because  Its  fast, it functions with little pc load and how its professional all the way arround.
    Can you at the least release an update for the midi controllers!!!  im using the mackie hui because i like to see a meterbridge. You only have support for the mackie Universal.. But there should be a lot more controllers supported.  I also own the jl cooper cs-10 and digidesign control 24.
    Anyways im not here to listen to the BS... im hoping we can get some insight from the developers on this one here.  Also if youve found a way to use the mackie HUI interface in audition 3 100% please help with that.  Thanks for your time.

    Thank you for the excellent reply.  This helps so much.
    a few questions in reply to your statement.
    1   Some of the more high end mastering processers and plugins that are purchased independently are corrently taking advantage of faster processing using 64 bit.  I am currently running adobe audtion in windows 7 64 bit and it works great i was just curious if they were going take advantage of technology and write a version for people who use larger stuidio sessions and more plugins whom need 64bit.. For instance putting 32 tracks with three active racks on each track creates pc load that causes jittering and errors.  UNLESS... you are running quad core extreme or i7 processors and using 6 gigs of ram.. I continue purchasing the fastest pc i can build.. i want to be able to do my job in audio smoothly and in less time.  I think more professionals would take your product more seriously knowing they can take advantage of their pc recources..  Unfortuinatly 32 bit versions are limiting us like a bottle neck and people getting in to some serious amazing mixes really need to open the pipeline with out errors and hickups.   *just for the record.. im not trying to insult the 32 bit version of Audition because i believe its a fantastic piece of software as is but as a consumer and someone who uses it daily in a comercial environment i would love to have a version made to run on my 64 bit architecture.  I work in audition daily and blow away the clients who are "pro tools this and that"  fans because ive been working in this software environment my entire life so i know the ins and outs and it delivers a much better sound IMO and proof of work.  You cant seriously tell me that because there is a few people still running xp the company hasnt released a 64 bit version.  I would suggest leaving the version 3.0 created for that version and using 4.0 to stay updated with todays technology and PC uses windows 7... My audition system uses 3 monitors.. the 1st is a 46inch that shows my workspace the second is a 32" that shows the mixer and FX rack the third is a 22" that shows the FX plugins controls.. i leave all three wondows maxamized and up to see whats going on while recording a session..  Nice you have this feature.. Just to give you an example of the setup and why multiple cores and processiong and why were using 64 bit.. we are alsio taking advantage of faster hard drives, ram,  ect..
    2.     The drivers fro the mackie board i was reffering to was made in 1997 and IMO is a great tool available for adobe to use to give us hands on production.  It features a full meter bridge and controlls basically everything your mouse regularly clicks on.. I purchased this specifically to use with my adobe audition and went in to set it up in my studio and..... i was greatly dissapointed to find only one support controller available for the mackie universal which is a slightly newer version but dosent have a meter bridge...  There is not many professional automation mixers available for us to buy so supporting the few that are out there would be nice.. and im sure if you contacted mackie or any other company making boards you will find them happy to supply you support to place them in the software...   Its a little diffrent for me as a consumer writing them now asking for a basic control driver for my MACKIE HUI which now is discontinued and asking them to make me a driver that i can mod in to your system...  thats way too difficult.. Im asking if you would look in to this for future development so we can take advantage of automation and control in all available consoles.. Profesional recording  environments use these surfaces shouldent your software support them?
    3.  Adobe audition is great dont let someone program and change the whole layout arround. this work environment is so perfect.. it really im really a die hard audition user i work in this environment and think its the best.. There really isnt much to change. IMO it just needs support in the areas noted above.. It would be cool to maby update the skin a little but you really dont need much... Im very estatic about a newer release.. I however do not work in mac and not every audio engineer does eather. However mac support is awsome to hear guys!
    IM excited to hear of updates and you guys are moving forward and the product was not dropped Audition should be a priority over soundbooth IMO.. thanks! oh and is there anyone with knowlage of how to get this mackie hui working with automation in adobe audition 3?  thanks?

  • Xorg.conf Where are you?

    Hi,
    I installed Arch (third time)  and Iam not able to find xorg,conf. I installed Arch from full cd. In /etc/X11/  are these directories only: fs  rstart  sessions  twm  xdm  xinit  xsm
    Does anybody know where I can find the X config (using XORG7)

  • 1.2 firmware, where are you Apple?

    Apple I am sure that you are more that aware of the problems of firmeware rev. 1.2. Are these problems that those of us are having fixable? Or is this a hardware problem and you are trying to wait until the one year warranty is gone to inform us?
    To the others I have noticed that if I disable the EQ the iPod does not hang. I still get screen artifacts sometimes.

    Yes I am very aware that the warranty period will be different based on your date of purchase. My point being that this problem has not been fixed, and since a lot of the new content on itunes has to have the 1.2 firmware to operate apple needs to fix this.
    As far as you not haveing any problems, you are lucky. But that does not in anyway help those that have had to deal with these problems.
