FTP get operation doesn't work. However put and syncRead works.

Hello SOA Gurus,
Here is the another strange challenge I faced today with FTP adapter.
I have a JNDI which is commonly used to access an FTP server. Initially, I created one BPEL process that uses "put" operation to write a file into the FTP directory. It worked successfully.
But when I used "get" operation with the same JNDI, it doesn't work there. However, I am consistently getting the below error messages in the server log:

Though it talks of very old version of SOA but the changes are advised to make on FTP server.

I am getting the error on SAP startup,Disp+Work.exe dies and the work processes die on startup.
I found below error in my DEV_W0 trace as below

My problem was solved, thanks for your effort.
reason is that, user 'pec' not been associated with login user for the SQL server.
subha : when i execute the first command which you suggested, but couldn't find any user's list.
so i didn't tried with the second command. just to give a final try i have executed the script like below and its worked out.

EXEC sp_change_users_login 'update_one','pec','pec'

I could have try this first ,when you guys suggested since i couldn't find any output with the first command i didn't proceed with second one.

The OP needs to determine if non-numeric data now exists in the column. Was the database characterset possibly changed during/after the upgrade?

My Epson printer stopped working with Firefox today. It does test pages, will work on Notebook, and will work with IE. Up until today it worked with Firefox. Why can't I print anything from the internet with Firefox?

Up until today, I did everything with Firefox. Then I was on Paypal and went to print a shipping label and the printer would not work. I went to troubleshoot page and it printed a test page. I uninstalled my printer and then re-installed it. Still would not work from an internet page. I did a system restore. Still didn't work. Called Epson. They say it's a Firefox problem because it works on Notebook and test pages. I installed IE and the printer works. What happened and how can I get it back working with Firefox?

I have the same problem, I cannot print PayPal shipping label off of Firefox. I did the about.config entry and have seen that the print.print_printer does not exist at all in the list of entries. I use Vista 32. I use an Epson 545 wirelessly.
Can anyone help?

Work Schedule Rules and Period Work Schedules

Is it possible to have one work schedule rule have different period work schedules. We have several different period work schedules that work the same amount of hours. The only difference between them is that the days for the schedules are different. However, the total amount of hours worked in the week are the same. If we assign the period work schedules that have the same hours to one work schedule rule we do not have to create and maintain several work schedule rules for each different work schedule.

A Work Schedule Rule is created for an Employee SubGroup Grouping, Calendar Grouping and Personnel SubArea Grouping, using a single Periodic Work Schedule.
So, if you have 100 PWS, you will need at least 100 Work Schedule Rules, and probably more since some PWS will probably be used by more than one combinations of ESG/Calendar/PSA Groupings.

Advanced Action works 2 times and stops working

Hi Everyone,
I'm creating a Captivate 4 (4.0.1 Build 1658) presentation of a simple LAN setup with 2 hosts. I have a caption showing setup parameters for the hosts (IP and Hostname) and a dropdown box allowing for selection of which host to configure parameters in the upper right (screenshot below).
My advanced action executes when the submit button next to the IP field is clicked (Host Name will be next once I figure this little issue out). It checks which host is selected in the dropdown widget and assigns the IP address (HostIP) to the respective host.
As the subject states, this works 2 times and then stops working. Here is the code:
Check If ( HostSelection is equal to Host 1 )

          rdcmndGotoFrame := 20

Or Else

          rdcmndGotoFrame := 30
end
The rdcmndGotoFrame assignment seems to be the only way I can reliably pause the presentation after the button is clicked. Not sure if this is contributing to the problem or not.
I've done this type of thing before but I can't figure out why this isn't working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To keep the playhead from moving on, use the expression:
rdcmndGotoFrame = rdinfoCurrentFrame -1
Sometimes the -1 is not necessary, you will have to check yourself. I do not know why you choose the absolute frame numbers to go to. And I do not really catch the issue for the rest.

How differ? Working serial vi and not working serial vi

Finally I found a well-working vi file in the internet. Even though it is too long
time ago, I'm not sure the original writer would still be a LabVIEW user now.
But I'd like to say thank him (his ID was roiht).
The attached file is done by roiht and working well. But I don't know why the
basic serial read and write vi is not working but the attached file working.
There is no framing error message in this vi. Can anyone give me the answer?

Serial communications often involve a bit of magic or luck. Many vendors do not completely specify their communications protocols or they create protocols which are so different from the most common ones that it is difficult to determine what needs to happen.
Since you have a program which will communicate, you need to dig through it to document exactly what it actually does. Every setting. Especially default settings. Every delay. Every byte transmitted or received. Do not assume anything - verify. Then you should be able to set up the modern program to work the same way.

I've tried everything i can think of, reset modem, cleared cache/cookies, restarted my computer, re-install firefox 8.0, and I opened firefox without any addons enabled.
Over the past 2 months, at most, I've had nothing but problems with firefox, firefox 7 wouldn't work right with my logins (after logging in it would not load any pages), so I waited a month and downloaded firefox 8.0, was working fine for a few days then, like I said, it doesn't load pages period. Why doesn't the default fonts and color work after upgrading to version 31?

As mentioned upon, my default fonts doesn't work. No matter what kind of font i changed ,it always showed the times new roman font i think.

Problem solved. The character encoding for outgoing is wrong, i change it to Western. Then its ok now

My App Store Doesn't Show Any Thing , and not working .

Today I've Noticed that My App Store Application is Not Working , and even I Can't Click On any Tabs ,and all of menu bar items such as sign out,sign in doesn't work . and doesn't Show Loading Status Bar, and doesn't show any message as you see in this picture :
I've Tried There Solutions:
Reset PRAM
Delete App Store Cache Files
Signed Out of Itunes And and signed in again
clear History and web site data in safari
But Nothing Changed .

Test after taking each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved. Back up all data before making any changes.
Step 1
Sign in to the App Store by selecting Sign In from the Store menu. If you're already signed in, sign out and then sign in again.
Step 2
Log out or restart the computer.
Step 3
Remove or disable "LittleSnitch" or any similar third-party software that blocks outgoing network connections according to the developer's instructions.
Step 4
Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode.)
Step 5
If possible, connect to a different network and test.
Step 6
There are reports that resetting the PRAM may solve the problem in some cases. I can't confirm.

Why doesn't the address bar and tabs work after opening a PDF?

I am using Firefox 3.6.16 and windows 7. When I open a PDF file using adobe reader in Firefox the address bar becomes inoperable for any other tabs I have open or open subsequently. This occurs until the tab the pdf file is open on is closed. I tried upgrading to Firefox 4 but apparently the problem is amplified in that as once a PDF file is opened even if you close the tab its on nothing works until you restart Firefox. I am using adobe reader X but had the same issue with 9. Thanks in advance for any help.
