FullScreen on container holding image

Hi All,
Working on an important piece at present; I need to make the
image wihtin a holder_mc go fullScreen, not the whole interface.
Heres my code thus far:
masker.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, fullScreen);
function fullScreen(MouseEvent):void
stage.displayState = StageDisplayState.FULL_SCREEN;
masker.buttonMode = true;
Once I figure this out, I was thinking that I could then use
a toggle on the masker to toggle FULL_SCREEN and NORMAL states.
Any help will be more than appreciated. ;)

I guess the confusion comes from not understanding that when
Flash goes screen - EVERYTHING in a particular application/Flash
player instance goes full screen. There is no way to make some
objects go full screen - and others not to.
The only thing you can do is to hide objects that you do not
want to be displayed in full screen and reposition and scale
according to your specifications objects that you want to be
visible according to the new (full screen) dimensions.

I have just started to use Muse for our design agency and learning how to build ourselves a new site, I have managed to create a basic lightbox which contains sliding images, what I need to do now is have a pop up window which goes into detail about the projects, what I would like is a piece of text or icon that when you roll over it and then click a separate window pops up with additional information in, once finished reading the info you can then click to close the box, any advice on how to do this?

The best way to do what you're asking is with the Composition widget. Start with the Tooltip preset, which, by default shows the info on rollover. You can change the option to show on click, which is what you're after. You can also add the close button or have the info disappear on rollout.

Asset problem: Folder is missing or contains no images.

Hello,
I have created a DPS project using InDesign CS5.5 -- the project is almost completed and everything has been working fine. I needed to update a bit of text and when I attempted to update the folio the update failed giving me a missing asset message. I looked in the links panel and it showed no missing assets. In this particlular file there is an audio .mp3 with a simple play and pause control that I had specified in the Audio/Video pane of the Overlay Creator. This has been working flawlessly. Now it is giving me an error message. None of my assets have been moved. But just to be sure I browsed to the folder where these assets have been stored (Audio_Controller/play.png Audio_Controller/pause.png) and indeed they are still there. Yet I continue to get the Yellow triangle with an ! in it and the following message: "The folder is either missing or contains no images. Resolve by selecting a folder containing supported assets."
I moved them into the images folder and relinked thinking that might solve the problem but had the same results. Does anyone have any ideas?
I've done a lot of looking and haven't seen this problem mentioned before.

I want to add that the "play" and "pause" controllers have been saved as .png as per DPS audio instructions. This is an DPS project that has been working consistently with the EXACT same assets in the EXACT same places. I made a small text page to one folio page. I did not move anything.

If you can't access BIOS with the hard disk connected, you certainly won't be able to boot to the usb recovery flashdrive. That is indicative of a failed hard disk.
Install a new hard disk and then boot to the recovery flashdrive.

Preview of pages containing large images ( 600MB)

I use the CS3-Server with the Java API, I have to export a pagepreview from a certain page of an indd-document as JPEG. The page that I have to export contains images each with a size greater than 600 MB. At the moment I call the doExport-method of the document-object. My JPEGExportPreferences are all set to lowresolution (72 dpi) and low JPEGQuality (kJPEGOptionsQualityLow).
But the JPEG-Export always lasts over 20 seconds which is too long.
The document must contain these images. This cannot be changed.
Now I search different way to get a pagepreview. When Indesign saves a document it saves previews as well, is it possible to use these previews? Or does anybody know a way to tell Indesign to use its internal preview instead of the large image to generate the pagepreview?
I already tried to unlink the image but the unlink-process lasts even longer than the preview generation process itself :-), even the relink to an non-existant image did not work.
I don´t know how to handle this...Does anybody run into this problem before and perhaps can help me, PLEASE?

The short answer is not yet - although the expectation of 64-bit Aperture is that it HAS to be out SOON. I shoot a lot of film in medium and large format and the scans are 16bit 4000dpi some of my files exceed 2gigs and still use Aperture to organize them along with references to my negative files but Aperture will not deal with 1G files right now no matter how much memory you jamb in your machine it is pure 32bit and cannot manage multiple 32bit address spaces soooo....
4G address space - OS X and shared 32bit reserved address space - program/text space - the amount of memory Aperture uses for other things - etc = a lot less than 4G actually a lot less than 2G.
Hope that makes a long story short. Just thank heavens that OS X did not reserve 2G in address space like some older unicies.

This message contains unloaded images... getting it to stop!

Many new messages in my Inbox come in, with a line across the stop, saying, "This message contains unloaded images." And there's a button to the right, "Load Images" that I need to push in order to load any images in that email.
How do I get Mail to stop doing that? I want Mail to load every. single. image. All the time. Always and forever. Yes, even if it's detrimental to my moral fiber.

Keep in mind that you only just now turned that feature off. It will take a few weeks for them to catch up with you, and once they do you can't reverse the procedure because they'll already know that your e-mail address is a good one to use for sending their spam to. Multiply the amount of spam you'll get by at least a factor of 10. You didn't think that Apple was turning off these images just to ruin your day did you? Each image contains a bot that when loaded goes back to the spammers and tells them that your e-mail address is a 'real' e-mail address that they can spam. But it's your computer, your spam, enjoy...

Problem with scrolling a panel containing an image

I am having a problem adding scrolling capabilities to a tabbed panel containing pages containing an image. In my program, I have a class called ImagePanel that extends JPanel and contains an image read from a file. In another class, I create a tabbed panel and add to it ImagePanels.
The problem I'm facing is that the pages added to my tabbed panel contain scroll bars, but these scroll bars are not scrollable (i.e. I cannot use the bars the scroll and see the missing parts of the image).
Any help on this manner is highly appreciated.

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to display that images in spgridview.
You can use a hyperlinkfield that is bound to the SPGridView. Please refer to:

Publish app in Beta 1 & Beta 2, contain missing images

I have noticed that when I publish a siena project in Beta 1 and now Beta 2, there seems to be missing images within the published folders.
This results in having to publish several times and validate that all images have been downloaded to the publish package.
I have over 400 images within several folders. I know that all image paths are correct as all show up in preview mode within siena. I have also validated each and every image in all folders, so I know the exact number that should
be in my publish package.
What I have found if an app contains many images, one has to ensure that all images are viewed (selected) within the app. I cannot just open the app that published correctly one day and make a small cosmetic change and then publish the app again
without validating that all images get published.
A good example is that I opened a siena project that i published and after several attempts the package contained all images (over 400+). I then opened the same siena project and saved it with a new name, added a rating control and timer
for animation. Please note that no other changes were made. I then published the package several times before I was successful in getting all images added to the published package.
I see the same issue in Beta 2.

Sorry for the confusion. The embedded media is not the issue here. I have an excel data source that contains the links to the images. I can see the images within the project, data source, links are loaded into the collections, and all images
can be viewed within the project.
The issue occurs during the publishing phase. During publishing all the images should be downloaded into the publish package but they are not. I just opened the same project and published in Beta 2. I wanted to test this issue
in beta 2. I was missing over 40 files from the 400+.
Please note I did not close and reopen siena. The next step is that I went into preview mode within the same project, viewed each image from each gallery, then published. I then validated the published package subfolder and all 400+ images
were there.
Hope this it a little bit clearer.

I would like to create a custom datagridview column containing text images and MS Word OLE objects

I am an old time LabView programmer going back to 2.0. But moved on with my career several years ago. But here I am back attempting a custom column in dataviewgrid control. .NET is hard. My goal is to read in an MS Word document and parse it out to a custom column. The column will contain regular old text, images and MS Word objects, sometimes called OLE objects.
There is scant information on creating .NET and labview when it comes to form manipulation. I have stuggled through the learning curve and now able to insert a text box column into a datagridview and add it to the form container and actually size it to the datagridview control. I've added a menu, but still figuring out the layout class. Did I say .NET is hard?
I know there must be a custom column created and even found a C# example, sorta. Trouble is the example uses easy stuff like override and private. It will take me another 3 weeks for that, darnit I'm getting lazy.
Does anybody out there have some example of a custom column in the datagridview?
If you ask to post code. I have nothing I would be proud to show.

This is what the progress looks like so far. I broke the tasks down in sub VIs. One to create a custom cell so I can add it to the column CellTemplate. The other to add the column to the control. My limited knowledge of .NET and the implementation in LV causes me to question the value of LV .NET.
The coding to create a TextBoxCell override with ImageCell CellTemplate. Honestly I'm guessing what to do, because the LV documentation on inheritance and overriding is poor at best.
The column coding to add the cell to the custom column.
Probe 19 always comes up with an error. The error is the standard 1172 with no clue what is causing it. The "index" will work on 0 or 1, I suspect bc the two cell types are 0 and 1 but nothing tells me that, just guessing.

Colors shift when a PDF file contains transparent image

Hello,
I tried to programatically set a soft mask to an image by using the Addobe PDF Library, in order to make part of the image transparent. The image color space is RGB. I used PDEImageSetSMask() funtcion for setting the mask. I also have a PDF file that was created in the same way but without the part of the code that sets the mask. Therefore this PDF contains the same image as not transparent.
When I open two files in Adobe Reader 9.2.0 the colors are not the same. The colors in the file which contains the transparent image are a bit darker. The colors are different not only inside the image box, but in all page area. I also tried to open the same file in GSView and there was no such problem.
Can I fix this by changing the Adobe reader preferences, or this is a problem in the code that genereates the PDF?

You need to set the transparency blending space of the page to RGB, since the default blending space is CMYK (hence the color shift). You do this by adding a transparency group dictionary to the page's dictionary when creating the PDF.

Export PDF as a container with images

Hello, I would like to export a PDF with some jpgs inside. I want those images to be portable like you have jpgs inside a HTML, where you can save them to your desktop individually. How can I do this? Basically The Pdf would work as a container of text and Jpg images.

That's not how PDFs are designed to work. They are designed to be a final output for print or for viewing on screen. To extract the images you could use Document Precessing>Extract All Images but this would only work in a full version of Acrobat.

How do I attain color separation in InDesign that containes Photoshop Images?

I have to submit an ad that will print black with spot color (Cyan). Below (Image 1) is the ad that does not contain color separation. The publisher said that I have to provide an ad that allows for color separation, without the ad being changed. Below (Image2) shows how the ad changes when I apply the color separation, with only Cyan being selected. I have also included (Image 3) my color settings; I'm not sure if my color settings have a part in my ad changing. If you know what I need to do to fix this issue, I would greatly appreciate your help.

If your ad contains only Black and Cyan inks you should be able to send the composite PDF and it will separate in the RIP at the publisher. If this is not waht the publisher wants, you need to get verys specific instructions from them. We can help you to understand those instructions if necessary.
The key here is that your images must be true grayscales or Black/Cyan duotones and you must not use any 4-color black elsewhere in the ad. Looking at your screen shot of the cyan plate it looks like the images are grayscale and OK, but your background gradient and black caption bars are showing cyan ink, so unless you used a cyan/black with no magenta and no yellow in them you have a problem. RGB colors cannot be used here.

OLE Container and Images

i am just loading images into the DatabBase... when running the form, the Ole Container displays the icon and the name of the image, and the image just opens if i double-click the container... can i just display the images instead of that?

Look at the "OLE Activation Style" and "OLE Tenant Aspect" properties.
You could also use an "Image" item type instead of an OLE container.
