Fun module to change the ' sales area field(AUFSD) ' in BP transaction
Hi all,
this is anil reg fun module to change BP.
I need to change the value for a field AUFSD in BP transaction.
Could anyone please list the function module that can be used?

I said you also have to add the division, distribution channle and the tupples (combination of div and dis. channel) under the particular sales org.

Double click on your sales org...you can see 4 tabs are there...click on attribute tab....choose the relevant attribute maintainance scenario (sales/service/marketting)..then add the division, distribution channle and the tupples (combination of div and dis. channel)..save it...

We require to provide access to "make changes" in the sales area fields only, of a customer master record. The t code VD02 was looked upon, but strangely when VD02 was accessed, even the general data too comes up for editiing which is strictly not required.
XD02 is not provided to the said user, only the account group, activity 02, and VD02 was provided for the specific sales area.
Request you all to enlighten me as to where am I going wrong, in the understanding of VD02, authorisation or the execution of it.
Further to the same, if tab wise authorisation is possible within the sales area data, would be even more obliged.

There are 3 tables where customer master data stores
KNA1 - General data
KNB1 - Company code data
KNVV - Sales area data
You can restrict particular user by blocking kna1 table access for tcode - va02.

You are not authorized to change the sales employee
Hi everyone ,
when I add an new bussiness partner not with the default sales employee ,I can't finish adding except loging on the system using manager or superuser before. the system tells that "You are not authorized to change the sales employee". This problem had been raised by someone else already,But It still confused me .I have explored the problem in b1 system and has got these results like following:
first ,there are three places where we can set default Salse mployee.
Path1 Administation/Setup/General/Sales Employees
or Path2 Human Resources/Employee Master Data/Sales Employee
or Path3 Administation/Setup/General/Users/Defaults/New/Defaults/Sales Employee
If you add a new BP , the default Sales Employee will get the value from Path3 .
If it is empty from Path3 ,it will get the value from Path2.
If it is also empty from Path2,then it will get the value from Path1.
There is Only one conditon that In Employee Master Data ,the employee is related with User and Sales Employee.
My question is that since I connected employee with User I can't change the sales employee when adding a new BP.
Another question is that since I connnected sales employee(Mike) with employee(Jone) I can't select the sales employee (Mike) as a sales employee when adding a new BP using other user loging on the system.
There Is no problem if I connect no employee with User.But If I do so ,How Can I do the Data Ownership Authorization.

One thing I am sure that :
If you connet the sales employee with one employee,that means that sales employee can be only used by the user connected to the employee at the same time.others can't use it.
If you connet the user with employee,that means ,when log on the system with the user,you can only use the sales employee that you connected with employee at the same time.you can't use others

Change the name of field "product attribute1" in Sales Org 2

We require to change the name of field "product attribute1" in Sales Org 2 in Material Master. Is there any provision in SPRO or it has to be done only with the help of Abapper.

its basically an enhancement but process is very simple you can also do it however if its your first time kindly follow the steps below mentioned
1.First you need to get the Date Element Name of the field you want to change the description.
2.To get that go to Material Master and to that field. Press F1.
3.Press "Technical Information" button.
4.You can see a field named "Data Element". Copy the value of that field for your field.
4.Now to change the description, Go to Tx; CMOD.
5.Select below Menu option. Go to / Text Enhancements / Keywords / Change
6.Enter copiedr Data Element there and press Enter.
Now you should be able to see field descriptions appear. You can change those as your wish
Once done, Save.

Custom fields to the sales area tab of customer master data

i have one requirement, where i need to add Zfields to the Sales tab in sales area data of customer master. Can somebody give me steps how to do it? do we need to do screen programming or just appending KNVV so that functional consultants can do configuration based on account group?

.First in IMG - Enterprice Structure - Definition
Create the Organisational Units you want to use
2.Then In Enterprise structure - assignment
Setup the sales areas you want to use in SD
Then go to XD01/ VD01 and create a new customer to whom you want to sell goods & service thr a particular sales area which you have already set up in IMG.
YOu can create a customer master for only those sales areas which you have created in Step 2 above.
Then create a sales document type VOV8 and then assign sales document type to sales area in which you want to use.
IMG-Sales & distributin-sales-sales document-sales doc header
Do all other assignments like item category determination, schedule line category, pricing procedure determination etc
and then you can cretae a sales document using the particular sales area.

Change the Accounting document fields cost center and profit center
Dear Experts,
User has posted document with wrong profit center
For that we subjected that he can go to the profit center actual posting T.Code 9ke0 but with that he can only change the Profit center document with that there is no accounting side updating
I have tried with Document Change Rules, Line Item for fields cost center and profit center in that while configuring I did not get any error message,
But in the document I am unable to changing the same fields cost center and profit center
Can any body please guide me to resolve the issue?

Once the documents are posted in FI module, the system doesn't allow anybody to change the cost objects (cost center, profit center, internal order). The only fields you can change through FB02 transaction are the Line item text (BSEG-SGTXT) and the assignment (BSEG-ZUONR).
If you want to get a change to the cost object to be reflected from FI to CO, you should reverse the FI documents with wrong cost objects and post new documents with correct cost center, profit center.

My Requirement is Based on the Country, Sales Org and Tax code Pricing should pick up automatically.
I tried adding the same fields in the table and inserted in the access sequence and created the condition record for the same.
Created the order but system is not able to get the Tax code while determining the price?

Your both the above comments are contradict to each other. In the first statement, you say pricing should pick up automatically whereas, in the next statement, you say tax code is not determining. Please indicate the requirement clearly.

Sales Area Fields Mandatory Dialog Box not coming up
Hello Forum,
We have the Business Partner PCUI Application - CRMM_ACCOUNT, where in, there are mandatory fields made under Tab General Information and Sales Area. We have done the necessary changes in field grp settings and generated the layouts. for relevant field groups.
When we create New Business Partner, the control is on the 'General Information' TAB. PCUI doesnot allow to save the business partner, unless, mandatory fields are filled out. It gves a Javascript Popup to fill the mandatory fields.
But the same is not the case with Sales Area Tab, When we select Sales Area (Either by using Template Functionality or Selecting the Sales Area Manually), the fields in this TAB strangely remain in Readable Format only. No Changes are allowed to be incorporated. In this case there is no dialog box prompting for filling the mandatory fields. Also, it allows to save business partner w/o filling the sales area data mandatory fields.
However, when we save, Change The Tabs (I.e. Goto General Information and come back to Sales Area Data, it sometimes enables the fields for Entry under Sales Area). And then it starts doing the mandatory field check in Sales Area Tab.
Request, if anybody can provide, clues for this behaviour and resolution.

Business Partner Search using Sales Area Fields
Hi,
I am wondering if anybody knows how to enable sales area fields as search criterias for business partner search?
The component is BP_HEAD_SEARCH. When I go into configuration of view BP_HEAD_SEARCH/MainSearch I find no Sales Area related available search criterias. Am I the first to ask for this option or did SAP ignore the requirements of the customers? It seems for me to be a very basic requirement.

This option has never been present in any previous CRM versions and not in the 2007.
If you want this functionality I guess you'll have to develop it from scratch.
I would agree with you that this is a basic requirement if it's a R/3 system where business partners are more sales area oriented. But this is a CRM system...

The FM you are looking for is BAPI_BUSINESS_PARTNER_CHANGE
You can use the table PARTNERADDR to fill the Address of the Partner.

As per the standard taxation practice,Tax determination depends upon the Tax liability of a Shipt to Party.
But in a Customer master The Tax classification is maintained in the SALES AREA DATA-BILLING TAB,To my understanding
the Billing Tab data comes from Sold to party.If so how does Billing tab convey the Tax liability of Ship to party.
I am Confused,please let me know in terms of Customer master and Partner types:
1) Which Tabs under the sales data i.e Shipping Billing...come from which Partner.i.e like Sold to party.
(Clarification required on the Sales area data information coming from which Partner functions).

There is no need of any confusion here
All the tabs and data or fields pertains sold to party only
If for a sold to party say 1001 if he himself is going to be SH and PY and BP then there is no confusion
If for a sold to party say 1001 the ship to party is 1002 and PY is 1003 and bill to party is himself that is 1001
This is what mentioned or assigned in the partner functions of CMR of 1001 in the sales area data
This means there are another CMR lies in the name of 1002 and 1003
Whenever an order comes for 1001 as Sold to party for tax classifications the ship to paty 1002's master record is accessed by the system
System accesses another record for a particular detail (tax details)
Similarly for this customer 1001's order for payment terms 1003's CMR is accessed by the system
System accesses another record for a particular detail ( for terms of payment)
There is no need for any confusion and if you run this in the system with different data you will understand it much better
