LSO: Function Module for follow up and inserting qualification

Hi,
I have a situation where the employee is booked for a course in SAP, employee will attend the course and the results will come from an external system in a text file. I need to upload this text file and do the follow up for this course with pass or failure. Is there any function module for this scenario ?
Once I did the follow-up, if there is a qualification attached to the course type, I need to insert the qualification in the employee profile. Is there any function module for this scenario ?

User exit or functional module for multiple GR of Production order.

Hi All,
I have done a enhancement in CO11N so that batches can get created in production order confirmation.
Now When I go to MIGO to do GR I have option to enter the nulitple batches against the production order.
But what I am looking for is there any exit or functional module which reads the production order and fecth batches which were created from CO11N.

How to block particular function module for user or users

Please take note that there are hundreds of thousands of function modules in any one SAP system (see table TFDIR) and a large number of them can do very very powerfull and even dangerous things when executed on their own in the test mode.
It shounds as if you are only worried about only one (probably some famous one...) and want to range around it's name. This is not a good idea and will not work anyway.

All of the fields i have to take in IDOC segment r from EKKO and EKPO table, but 1 field is from MDSB table (MDSB-MATNR), how can i take it in the code i have to write. can i take TABLE: MDSB in the include, or any other way. because its standard FM we cant take it in IMPORT.

You can use a similar approach as described in thread:
Get Parameter from Standard Transaction to BADi
You need to find out in which main program MDSB is defined. Then you can try to access this field dynamically from within your exit.
Alternatively, you have to search for a function module which can retrieve this (runtime) information (MDSB-MATNR).

Hey,
I tried by putting the values of company code,asset number,subnumber, transaction type as 'A' and passing the value of INLA-XSPEB as 'X' in FM ASSET_MASTERRECORD_MAINTENANCE to block the asset but it is not working. I am trying many other things. Can you suggest what are the mandatory fields that need to be passed for the asset to be blocked.
As there are lot of parameters in this FM, I am little confused. Is there a proper documentation available somewhere to understand the flow.

Is there a function module that can add components to an existing production order ?I believe CO_BC_INSERT_CMP_OF_ORDERS can do the trick but seems this alone would not suffice .Your feedback is very much appreciated

U r right. we need to call the function module CO_BC_INSERT_CMP_OF_ORDERS with flg_banf_create = X and apt entries in the component details table resbb_ins. Doing this is enough. I guess u have a problem passing correct data in the internal table. For the data you do not know, you will have to pass default data.

Is there a function module that will get you the month and year of say, a month before, and as far as 11 months ago.
For example, say today is 6/2007. I want 7 months ago.

Function module for comparing dates and times

I have a date and time stamp in one filed for example as below:
20070125183045
(the first 8 are date in YYYYMMDD format, the next 6 is time in HHMMSS format). Now I want to compare this value to another such value in terms of date and time. First I want to compare dates and then times. Do you know any function module that can serve this purpose?

You can compare these using the function module DURATION_DETERMINE. This fuction will give you the difference, and it can be in a view different units, such as the difference in days, months, etc.
Funciton module takes in Start date and time and end date and time.
