The G/L account will automatically displayed in MIGO, account assignemnet tab, if you do configuration setting in OBYC.

    This was already discussed. Check in SWEL Tcode whether the Posted Event is getting triggered or not. If not then find out whether this event gets triggered automatically or through Coding. If thru coding check ur code. If thru config check ur config.

  • Invoice Posting MIRO

    Hi all,
    Through MIRO we are posting Invoice. After entering the data when we click on SAVE button the Invoice gets posted. When can check the document in MIR4 or in
    MIRO(Invoice Document->display).
    When we display the Invoice Document and click on "follow on document" to goto Accounting Document.
    then Accounting entry is displayed for that Invoice.
    In the Debit Entry the Reference field will be either Purchase Order Number or Reference Number which we gave during Invoice posting.
    Now my requirement is to change the Purchase Order Number or Reference Number with Delivery Note Number.
    I found one BADI for that. INVOICE_UPDATE. In this BADI there are 3 methods.
    1. ON_SAVE
    2. BEFORE_UPDATE
    3. DURING_UPDATE.
    I tried to changes the value in runtime after the ON_SAVE & BEFORE_UPDATE methods (with out implementing the methods). Its not working.
    The Other method DURING_UPDATE is called within the FM (MRM_INVOICE_DOCUMENT_POST)
    but this FM is called in the program with UPDATE TASK addition.
    Ex: Call Function 'MRM_INVOICE_DOCUMENT_POST' UPDATE TASK.
    and in debugging mode the control is not entering into this FM.
    Can anybody tell me where i can change the PO/Reference No to Delivery Note Number before posting.

    unfortunately you can not change any values in BADI INVOICE_UPDATE. Check this OSS note 392342.  This paragraph is from that note:
    Solution
    If the data changed in the BAdI is supposed to be returned to the MIRO, this can only be executed by a program modification of BAdI 'INVOICE_UPDATE' and function module 'MRM_BADI_INVOICE_CHECK'. Contact the remote consulting for this.
    So you can try to modify this BADI or try to find a new way of changing your fields using enhacement framework. Try to find a suitable implicit point but you have to be more careful.

  • Value in payment terms field not dispalyed in invoice after saving MIRO

    Hi,
    I Implemented the BADI- MRM_PAYMENT_TERMS to populate GR date as baseline date in invoice,
    But after saving the invoice when I display the invoice document in MIR4 it not showing the payment terms. It only show the condition ie the discount get in no of days. It show
    payment terms - (Blank)
    Payment in - 14 days 4%
    payment in - 30 days 2 % .
    Can anybody help me on this why this peculiar behavior of transaction after activating BADI.....

  • VAT Rate is copied from Base Document, not taken from Invoice Posting Date

    Hi,
    With the recent VAT Rate change in the UK, the following issue has come to light.
    If I have a sales order or delivery created in November 2008 the VAT rate is 17.5%, which is correct.
    If I then invoice that document in December 2008, the VAT rate should be 15% in line with the VAT Setup screens.
    However, the VAT rate on the new document remains at 17.5% even if the user changes the posting date.  The VAT Rate is only corrected if the user changes the VAT rate on the transaction line to a completely seperate rate, and then back again.
    For documents with many lines this is impractical.  I have several customers who have complained about this who want reassurance that the issue will be resolved before the next VAT rate change in 12 months.

  • Current Exng rate not picked SD invoice posting in PROD,it is picked in DEV

    Dear All,
    We are facing a peculiar problem for sales invoice accounting entries. The problem is related to currency exchange rate. We have created a sales order with some earlier pricing date (01.12.2010).The USD to INR exchange rate is mentioned 47.23% in OB08.The sales order is copying the rate of 47.23% as the pricing date is 01.12.2010. Now we have created a sales invoice in VF01. Now if we see the exchange rate in billing document it is 47.23% as it copies from the sales order.
    Now we have maintained Currency exchange rate in OB08 for date 16.07.2011 as 44.22%. After that we posted the sales invoice and the accounting document we found that system is picking the exchange rate based on billing date (the Bline Date) the current one i.e. 44.22%.
    This is exactly we want and the test is successful in DEV and QAS server.
    The entire process is repeated in the Production server but the result is not successful. The system is not fetching the exchange rate based on Bline date. It is based on the old pricing date exchange rate (47.23%).
    How to solve this issue as there is no configuration mismatch between DEV and PRD.

    Hi,
    I have the following probem while doing MIRO.  Would appreciate if someone could help.
    Error in Purchase invoice posting MIRO  :-
    The user has created a PO for asset in  FY2010 and has performed a MIGO in FY2010.
    Now in FY2011 the user tries to  invoice against the  above asset and wants to post it thru Trans MIRO.
    System gives an  error during MIRO  "Posting with trans.type 159 not possible (No acquisition posted)"  Message no AA 324
    Trans type 159 has trans type group 12 attached to it.
    MIGO can not be reversed  because it belongs to the closed FY.

    I understand this note is useful if Excise tab not dispalyed while doing MIRO. But the issue is -In dispaly mode of MIGO the excise tab is not dispalyed even though we have captured the Excise during MIGO.
    Please let me know some solution on this as I am also facing same problem.

  • Any best practise to archive PO's which does not have corresponding invoice

             As part of initial implementation and conversion, We have a lot of PO's / LTA created but their corresponding invoices were never converted into SAP from legacy system.  SAP archiving program tags those as not business complete as the invoice qty does not match with po qty (there are no invoices to start with).  Just flagging 'delivery complete and final confirmation' of PO does not help.  Anybody ran into similar situation and how did they resolve it?  I am reluctant to enhance standard SAP archiving program to bypass those checks and that is my only last option. Any SAP recommended Note / best practise etc would help.

    Where is the invoice posted?
    was the invoice posted in the legacy system?
    Clearance of GR/IR account with MR11 will usually close such POs.

    I want the report of my profit center which will show profit centre details including the dimension.
    I have run the following report but not fulfill the requirements
    1.The u201CProfit centre reportu201D in this report only u201CJEu201D is comes in report & Invoices post for the u201CProfit centre(Dimension1, Dimension2,Dimension3) u201Cis not included in that report.
    2.The u201CGeneral ledgeru201D report it will give the details of invoices but ,it is not showing the  Dim1,Dim2,Dim3 in the available column of report.

    In FB60, duplicate invoice check does not work if invoice date is different
    This issue is in FB60 and not MIRO.
    Duplicate invoice check is activated in vendor master.
    I posted an invoice for a vendor with amount $ 100, Reference 1234 Invoice date Nov 01, 2011
    I tried posting for same vendor (and also Co Code) with amount $ 100, Reference 1234 Invoice date Nov 01, 2011. System does not allow. This is fine.
    Now I change only date, from Nov 01 to Nov 02, and system allow posting.
    Why I don't get the error message when date is different ? It should not be treated as a different invoice since invoice reference, amount, Vendor and Co Codes are same.
    SAP documentation says that it checks document date during duplicate invoice check even for FI invoices, then why does it allows in this case.
    Is this a bug ?
    I already tried changing settings in SPRO under LIV, this does not impact FB60 invoice booking.

    Use BTE - 1110 - (Check on Invoice Duplication) for FB60. Take the help of your ABAPer to make a coding in Function module mentioned in BTE.
    Need to make a copy of the FM and then you can do relevant coding.

    I am Facing Following Problem in TDS
    While creating an A/P Invoice after putting row level information when user click on u2018ADDu2019 button u201CWithholding Tax Tableu201D opens for deduction of TDS amount. When user selects u201CWithholding Tax Codeu201D in u201CWithholding Tax Tableu201D to deduct TDS amount for an invoice system shows WTax amount as per rate of deduction. But when user click on u2018OKu2019 to u201CWithholding Tax Tableu201D window, WTax Amount will comes as zero on A/P Invoice window.
    Then when again user will go to u201CWithholding Tax Tableu201D and manually put the value of WTax Amount system reflects it on A/P Invoice window.
    In case when we set approval procedure to A/P Invoice, this invoice goes for an approval. After coming back as approved invoice when originator of invoice going to u2018ADDu2019 the same document system shows an error as u2018TDS TAX AMOUNT  IS NOT MACHING WITH INVOICE WTAX AMOUNTu2019

    u2022     Open the BP master for which TDS needs to be deducted go to the accounting tab followed by tax option and then  click on the checkbox subject to withholding tax
    u2022     Click on the option WTAX codes Allowed and select the TDS Category
    u2022     On the previous window click the check box pertaining the checkbox  u201CTDS OVERLOOKu201D

    2. Whether the AT1 condition is maintained in Maintain Excise Defaults against tax procedure
    Path
    IMG --> Logistics - General --> Tax on Goods Movements --> India --> Basic Settings --> Determination of Excise Duty --> Maintain Excise Defaults
    3. Whether the AT1 condition is maintained in Specify Excise Accounts per Excise Transaction against excise transaction type
    Path

    4. Whether the AT1 G/L account is maintained in Specify G/L Accounts per Excise Transaction

    Dear forum members,
    For one sales area I can create a invoice list from a billing document, but not for the other.In debug mode first one is relevent for invoice list processing ( VBUK-RELIK), but for another sales area ,thus staus is not relevent.
    Partner detemrination was different for both the above sales area.This was the only differnce. Partner determination is correct in both.What can be the other possible reasons for the status NOT RELEVENT for invoice list.

    -->Check the configuration settings if you are using diffirent Invoice documents in two sales areas.
    IMG Path is SPRO>Sales and Distribution>Billing>Billing documents>Invoice lists.
    -->Check the data in the customer master in the transaction VD02.
    Go to Sales area data tab-->Billing document here you check whether you are maintaining the Invoice list dates or not.
    -->Check the Partner determination procedure assignment to the Invoice List type at Header level and item level.
    Because you are mentioned that partner dtermination wad different.
    Header assignment path.

  • DRQ:Credit Note not based on invoice should transfer reference number to JE

    according to SAP business one system behavior, only those credit notes that based on invoices are able to transfer customer/vendor reference no. field value to reference 2 field in journal entry. I would like to propose to enable AP credit note that is not based on invoice to transfer reference number field to JE as well.

    Even if it is possible, you would be better split the amount to individual credit note.  I have no idea why you need to split line in one credit note.
