Galaxy S4 free after rebate and trade in? apparently not

In February there were ads on TV and on Verizon website about Getting S4 free after rebate and trade in. Purchase online for $150 and get $50 rebate and automatically get $100 trade in value on smartphone in working order.(mine was) I only got the $50 rebate and only $5.00 trade in value. Now Verizon customer service says there was no such promotion. My son saw it on TV and I saw it on the website. It was obvious. I met all the requirements now verizon not honoring it.
Anyone else remember this or have a problem?

i look at verizon smartphone pricing every day on the website & unless verizon tv adds are different in different parts of the country (which i find hard to believe) i haven't seen any promotion like you describe.
what you describe i see at costco, best-buy, fry's electronics & others trying to draw folks in, then when the rebate doesn't come in, the buyer complains to verizon.
i seem to recall back in feb, the price jumped from $99 w/2 year to $199 & it's been back at $99 since the s5 was introduced at the big conference a few weeks ago.

Hi Keith, sorry for my late reply.
Surely I am able to connect to the help function when Icontact the website
of AdobeLR5.The problem is as follows,
When I open LR5 on my computer and work with it and try to open the help
function in the software, I don't get it.
When I bought the CD I was naiv enough to believe that I get an independent
working software. I learned in the meantime, that the seller does not allow
to work with, without being connected to them.
I don't believe that I am paranoid, but I like to buy something and use it
without to inform the supplier that I do it. Otherwise I could have bought
the license fpr LR5 via internet.

not sure, what exactly the description should tell me, but I guess, that your scenario is like this:
- you captured some RnR backup
- made some changes to the system
- restored the backup
and now the changes, that you have mde afte the backup was captured are gone.
If this is your case, then this is a correct situation.
The backup will restore the whole system back to the stage, as you selected, while it will remove/modify the packages, that have been changed/created after the time, when the backup was captured.
In the stage, where you have restored the system, you had the chance to save some files, but as it looks, this did not happened.
Please correct me if I understod it wrongly.

In the Trial version of Illustrator try this:
In the top right of your screen, choose 'Essentials' from the workspace menu.
Then from the same menu, choose Reset Essentials.
Next, click the Selection tool in the Tools panel (strip on the left side of your screen, it is the black pointer at the top).
Click on the object you want to change the stroke and fill colour for. Does it display with little handles around it (this is called bounding box)? E.g. can you tell it is selected?
You should see the Stroke and Fill options in the Control panel (top horizontal strip above your document), if the object you've selected is a path. But if for instance you selected as a placed photo, you won't see the Stroke and Fill options.
If possible take a screenshot of what you are trying to do, and we can be of more help hopefully.

Trying to reinstall cs4. after download and setup finished, program not installed.

I have had to download cs4 from my account in adobe to reinstall it. After downloading and extracting and running set up file....it goes through the motion but never asks for my serial number and doesn't install the program.

Without system info and other details like what CS4 product you are actually referring to nobody can say anything.

Free/Busy availability and Out of Office not working after Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010

We just migrated from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 as an intermediate step before we get to Exchange 2013. I want to make sure everything is working OK before we start the migration to Exchange 2013.
The users have Outlook 2010, and there are 2 issues. They can't view free/busy times for other people using the scheduling assistant, and they can't set their Out of Office messages. If they go in through Outlook Web Access, then these features
work!
I've searched the forums, and I see a few similar issues, but I don't think this is related to the .Net issue on the CAS server.
Any suggestions?

Try checking the free busy info Outlook 2010 with running /cleanfreebusy switch
Check the Free/Busy System Public Folder and pointed out to the correct server on each mailbox DB in Exchange 2010
Find the public folder replica database
get-publicfolder -Identity "\NON_IPM_SUBTREE\SCHEDULE+ FREE BUSY" -Recurse | fl name,Replicas
In E2k10 check if the exchange 2003 is added in the replica list. If not try adding them and check.
force Public folder content replication.

Headache after headache and we've still not got it...

A bit of a rant sorry (need to air this off and hopefully get somewhere!) of how everything has gone wrong.
First we eagerly awaited the date we could order infinity. The day arrived and after some issues ordering online that evening I had to ring up the next day to place the order (turns out the online system isn't clever enough to say you can't have a free install when coming back to BT and do the paying for the phone line up front for a year and save some money deal, it just throws a general error).
So I spend the best part of the hour on the phone placing the order. Making sure to double check things as we go along.
Shortly after we get the install date. I ring to enquire how late I can leave changing it as I was unsure if I could do that date or not yet, understanding I am going to have to give more notice if we're moving our number back to BT. Turns out now that the person I spent ages on the phone ordering with didn't put it down as moving our number back but a brand new number.
BT have to cancel the order and replace it. They do call me back the next day as promised to confirm the new order. Installation date now a lot further away and I can't do that date. They said they would call me back the next day as it was late. They never did, I had call chasing the change of appointment a few days later.
A week or so ago we got a bill for the delivery of a router never sent for the first order that was cancelled, so I have to call up to sort that out. While on the phone I asked the lady to confirm all the details on the current order to make sure all was ok still, it was. She even kindly sent me a text confirming it all in writing.
So yesterday was the day. BT phone engineer shows up and wires up the BT line. I won't go in to the ins/outs of it but basically it turned out our phones were screwed after the engineer left. Inbound calls were ok (though not all that clear) but could rarely make an out bound call. I did phone customer services first and got fobbed off with that the extensions wouldn't go live until up to midnight(!). Luckily I am a network engineer and soon spotted he had wired the extension in the faceplate in the wrong order and sorted this myself. We needed the phones working and I couldn't wait until another BT engineer could show up for 10 secs of work. The BT engineer had infact left me instructions on wiring it anyway incase we had to replace the extension wiring (shame he couldn't follow them lol) - He tried to tell me the extension was quieter as it was pulling too much power and must be the extension wiring at fault, even though it was the same wiring we had always used! He also told me the line was working fine - he must have been lucky (I managed to dial a number maybe 1 time out of 10 if that?). Yes it was drawing too much power as he had wired the 2 ring wires back to front!
With that out the way I await the infinity/broadband engineer. 5PM comes and he hasn't shown, keeping in mind he could come any time up to 6PM though. I log on to BT.com to find the following under the broadband install on the order tracking:
"Your appointment is no longer required, as our engineer can connect your line without requiring access to your premises. The engineer will work to connect your line at the exchange."
Right?! I know an engineer is required for BT infinity!
So I called customer services again (thumbs up here BT where it is due- a few months ago I spent hours on the phone queuing to get through to you - I have not had to wait more than about 10 mins since this has all happened when I have called each time - and you have an 03* number now so no big mobile bill this time!). Apparently there has been an internal communications error at BT. The engineer appointment was cancelled as some one at BT hadn't confirmed the appointment with the engineer.
I flipped, politely (I have spent several years working in customer service call centres too, I know how it is) explaining how everything has gone wrong and none of it is my fault, at all.
She promised to pass it to esculations and I would have a call back today (with the hope of a Saturday appointment as I can't take another day off work) and may be even this weekend. If I (and my partner, we both work in IT) end up with no internet at home in our work, we will be up the creek with out a paddle.
It's nearly 3PM and I am yet to have had a phone call.

This is beyond a joke now
Rang up this evening as no one did call back (3rd time since order that such a promise hasn't been kept) to be told BT have cancelled the order. No idea why and nothing can be done as the order management desk have gone home.
I'll be straight on the phone at 9am. If it isn't sorted straight away with a weekend appointment (I can't take any more time off work) by next weekend (2nd/3rd April) before the Virgin broadband ends, and some kind of compensation/credit for BTs continual incompetence since day 1, then Virgin can have our business back!
Again, if someone from BT sees this and would like to help I did send an email through your form refrencing this thread earlier today with my contact details. Even if it's 'I've got your email, I shall look at it now and get back to you ASAP' first thing before I try to talk to the 'order management' desk who clearly need to go on a few management courses!

Whilst connected to internet itunes will only open once after rebooting and thereafter it will not open again until reboot. When reboot with internet off itunes will open repeatedly. Help

This problem has only appeared in the past few days before that I had nio problems with itunes. Firstly I discovered that I could only open Itunes once after reboot - thereafter it would not reopen until I reboot again. I have spent considerable hours yesterday talking to the Apple help by phone and tried all there suggestions including of course reinstalling itunes amongst other things. Eventually I thought the problem had been solved when I discovered that I could suddenly open Itunes repeatedly without rebooting. After a short time I then discovered that the reason it was working agai was that I had rebooted with the internet disconnected and itunes would open repeatedly as normal provide I left the internet disconnected. When I reconnect to internet the problem resurfaces. HELP

I wish to purchase an app that is free for a limited time but it is over 20mb. There is no wifi here at work and I cannot purchase as a gift, as I normally do with discounted apps to lock in the low price, because it is free. I cannot access my itunes to purchase as I am stuck at work. This error usually comes when you move adobe folder to different location from root drive and try to update the application. Uninstall the application and remove all adobe folders. Restart your machine and install the application again and check for updates. It should Work.

Galaxy S6 Edge Screen Rotation and S Health steps NOT WORKING

I know about the screen rotation problem after some research. I bought my S6 edge on 4/10 and the screen rotation stopped working on 4/24. Now my s health daily steps stopped work today(4/26). I called samsung this morning and they tried to clear my cache to fix the screen but no luck on fixing. They think the s health problem is due to the screen problem also. Is there any other tips for a fast fix or do I wait for a software update? Also does anyone else have both these problems together?

PO is deleted after GR and Invoice done, but not reverting GR IR values

Whenever PO line item is deleted with deletion indicator value L, I can see 2 extra entries for Process key 001, with negative Qty and amount values. But for process key 002 (GR) and 003 (IR) values are not getting reverted. So in BW I am getting 0 PO qty and value (based on process key 001 and addition of negative values). But non zero GR values (process key 002) and IR values (Process key 003).
Data source I am using is 2LIS_02_SCL and 2LIs_02_ITM.

It appears that for process keys 2 and 3, the datasource 2LIS_02_ITM doesn't bring values. These would be comiing in your cube/ DSO from 2lis_02_SCL
