Gameloft's Order & Chaos = compromised game accounts

Hi all,
I'm not getting anywhere with contacting support, so I'm hoping I can find assistance here.
The "Order & Chaos" game for iOS has been in the iTunes store for several months.  The game allows for in-app purchases which make the game more playable and allow the user to get better gear. 
The game has had *many* security issues involving compromised user accounts.  When a person's game account is hacked, which apparently is relatively easy to do, the hacker takes the in-game gold and sells the character's items.  Often the account is sold to other people.
Gameloft put in a "fix" a few months ago, but all that did was slow the hackers down slightly.  What's worse is that they didn't bother plugging one of the holes which allows previously compromised accounts to be easily compromised again and again and again.
People have begged the company to fix the security issues.  The company claims they resolved the issues with that "fix" but this is clearly not the case.  The only things they keep telling people whose accounts have been stolen are (a) they're sorry and (b) a customer care representitive will be contacting the player shortly.  In some cases a month goes by and people are still waiting for their accounts to be reinstated.  It somewhat doesn't matter, however, since their accounts can be easily compromised again and again as the company refuses to fix the security holes.
I love the game as well as other games the company has produced, and I want to see them develop more games.  But I am confused as to why they are allowed to continue offering Order & Chaos in the store and allowing in-app purchases.
I know at least some people at Apple know about the security issues as some players have requested refunds of their in-app purchases due to having their accounts stolen.  I always thought Apple had a stellar reputation when it comes to app security, and this was one of the reasons why I bought an iPad instead of an Android tablet.  So the fact that the game company continues offering the game and in-app purchases baffles me.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get Apple to force Gamelot to fix their security issues?  Or does Apple not mind this type of app insecurity?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.
FWIW, I did contact support and they redireced me to the developer program.  The developer program redirected me back to support, who then told me they don't handle this type of issue.  Argh!

Yes, I know you all are not employees.  I am well aware that employees generally do not read this forum.
I was hoping that someone who does know whom to contact in this type of situation would let me know what my options are.
As for O&C being fun and having excellent graphics, sure it is.  Those are some of the reasons I play.
Gameloft, it seems, is not going to fix the issue.  So instead when people get their accounts stolen, they contact Apple and ask for refunds.  I'd think Apple would get tired of that and tell Gameloft to fix their problems, but I guess Apple doesn't care about it.
As for how widespread it is, anyone's account can be hacked, including yours. 
Nobody's safe as Gameloft hasn't fixed the problem.  All the hackers have to do to steal your account is capture packets from your character since gameloft sends all kinds of data about your account every time your character is near another character.  So if you ever sign in and play, your account can be stolen.

    I received an e-mail that this morning that I had purchased an app called "Order & Chaos© Online" for $6.99 and two in-app purchases for $14.99 each! I haven´t installed this on either my iPhone or my iPad so obviously my account must have been compromised.
    I immediately changed my password and contacted both Apple (for a refund for the app) and the developer Gameloft (for a refund for the in-app content).
    I have not heard from Apple yet but Gameloft was very unaccommodating. They answered that it was my "responsibility to keep your accounts safe, not ours" and that there was "no trace of any purchase" and that I should "speak to Apple and ask for more information about the purchase because our system isnt showing any purchase on your mail account".
    I even attached a screenshot of the purchase in iTunes but still that wasn´t enough. I know that it is my responsibility to protect my accounts, but if someone despite this use it illegally I had hoped that the developer would be more helpful in making sure their products weren't bought with stolen money?
    I also find it odd that they can't see the transactions if they were made from my iTunes account (I also included the order number shown)? I don't have any other records except this, and ~$40 missing.
    I have read on these forums similiar incidents. Should I do anything else except wait for Apple to replay?

    I contacted Apple and was pleasantly surprised when the helped me refund the total sum that had been charged! Very smooth and friendly response, and it only ttok a matter of days! Really impressive actually.
    I also contacted the developer Gameloft but only received a very unhelpful answer. One of their Customer Care Representative replied:
    It is your responsibility to keep your accounts safe, not ours.
    And there is no trace of any purchase. I suggest you speak to Apple and ask for more information about the purchase because our system isnt showing any purchase on your mail account.
    Not very helpful at all.

    hello, i bought a game called 'Order & Chaos' for the mac a few weeks ago and havent been able play it once because it wont work on my mac... ive been a huge player on this game for the iphone and thought why not get it for mac, so i bought it and whenever i click on the application on my mac the screen just goes black and i can only see the mouse, cant quit the game or anything i have to hold down the power button to restart my mac. ive deleted all the files completely from the game and reinstalled it from the mac store and it still wont work. please help

    According to the Mac App Store version it says compatible with Mac OS X 10.7 or later.   That typically just means compatible with Mac OS X 10.7 and 10.7.1.
    Anything beyond that is a matter of luck.   Visit the developer and request a support ticket.   http://support.gameloft.com/OnlineAndSocial/showSelection/39/
    Now while many software titles that are 10.7 or later compatible are compatible with 10.9, unfortunately, unless it explicitly states it, you have no way of knowing.   One other place you can find compatibility is http://www.roaringapps.com/ though I do not find it listed there.   Thus it may not be that popular that people have indicated its compatibility.   I suggest posting its incompatibility there, and hopefully others will chime in later to tell you what it is compatible with.

    I keep getting this.
    The Bank and Paypal states that Adobe needs to process my transaction twice.
    I have no order number/ no status nor contact from Adobe. I called customer service and he transferred me to sales where the phone rang with no answer.

    I want to do a report using data from internals orders (AUFNR) and profit center accounting (PRCTR).
    I can make individual reports for internals orders (6O1, CCSS) and for profit center accounting (8a2, GPLCA) but I can't combinate data from internals orders and profit center accounting.
    Is it possible make a report using report painter that show data of internals orders and profit center accounting.
    All my internals orders have a profit center accounting.

    Hi,
    There is no such an assignment. When you post a document, you define your G/L accounts and cost objects. If you want to make a default internal order for certain cost element, you can go to KA02 or OKB9 and define the defaults there.

    Did you create a new account or did you update your existing account with a new email address ? You can tap on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Stpre and sign out of it and you can then sign with the new/updated account.
    If you did create a new account then your existing content will remain tied to your old account, so only that old account will be able to redownload that content and/or download updates to its apps. If you can't remember the password for it then you can try getting it reset via this page : http://iforgot.apple.com

    This PRCTR field is stored in VBAP (i.e., SO line item table)

    I have recently purchased a price-gouging subscription to Adobe Captivate 6. http://www.adobe.com/products/activation states "activation can be completed [...] at installation", but the error message received is "No Subscription Found."
    I have an active subscription to Creative Cloud. Now a new order is in My Accounts, the amount of the order has been deducted from my bank account, and I am unable to activate the subscription to the relevant product.

    I have this problem. When I creta a sales order in CRM and then system creates as a follow up document a sales order in SD system don`t check an order number for CO account assignment. If I want to create a sales order not as a follow up document, but directly in transaction VA01 and I use exactly the same data system gives me a message " The CO account assignment object belongs to company code X, not Y
    You want to make a posting in company code Y.
    At the same time, a CO account assignment object was specified that is assigned to company code X.
    This is account assignment object with object type ORD, and object key 1xxxxxxxxxxx...".
    My question is why system don`t check order number when a sales order in SD is created as a follow up document and what should I do to correct this.

  • Internal Order Settlement to GL account

    Hi,
    I am trying to settle a Internal order to a GL account. A cost centre is also mapped in automatic account assignment for this GL account.
    Everything is fine but the settled cost is not appearing in cost centre report. But there is an statistical posting on this report.
    I want to see the real psoting on cost centre report and not statistical postings.
    Any advice or workaround....

    Why are you posting to a GL? Where did the Internal Order gets its costs from? Something doesn't make sense here.
    Modify your settlement rule by creating a settlement to this Cost Centre. As long as your Allocation Structure is defined well, you don't need to mention a Cost Element. Make sure the Settlement Profile, etc. are defined and assigned to the Order Type etc. That config I hope is in place.
    Now run your settlement and it should work well.

      Not realy clear which scenario u r trying to address here. But you can post the Goods receipt to a balance sheet account. U can ideally create a separate valuation class and use the same for account determination. The materials for which you are making the PO have to be asigned to that particular valuation class. The rest of the configurations will remain as they are. But in the transaction key you will include the new valuation class and assign it to balance sheet account.

    The password (to protected unauthorized access) to your wireless network is set on your wireless router.     If you want to change your iCloud ID or password on your phone go to Settings>iCloud and tap Delete Account, then sign back in with your updated information.  Note: this only deletes the account and any synced data from your phone, not from iCloud.  Provided you are signing back into the same account and not changing accounts it will be synced back to your device when you sign back in.
