Garageband freezes when I click the LCD

Whenever I try to interact with the LCD, the LCD immediately becomes unresponsive and soon GarageBand itself freezes. The only way to fix this issue is to start a new project, and I still must avoid the LCD.
Help?

If in the console you get this error message :

You have to check that "Apple" fonts are activated in the Fontbook.app :

Apple Symbols
AppleGothic
AppleMyungjo
You don't even need to logout or restart your computer
There are required by Garageband to run properly.

Audition sometimes freezes when I click the open icon in the files pane

Hi all
I am using Audition CS5.5 under Windows 7 64-bit. I am finding that quite frequently, when I click the "open file" icon in the top left of the files pane, Audition simply freezes -- I don't get an error message; the application is shown to be running as normal in Windows Task Manager, and doesn't have suspiciously high RAM or CPU usage. It just won't do anything further. I have to close it via Task Manager.
I don't have any other files open at the time, but so far this has tended to happen immediately after doing batch processing.
However I haven't been able to identify specific steps to reproduce the issue 100%.
Has anyone else experienced this?

It's very difficult to deal with freeze issues - we really don't have enough info to go on. What you should do is to read this FAQ carefully, and do exactly as it says.

When i go to google, then search my school, mozilla freezes when i click the link. why?

I signed on. started mozilla firefox. went to google. searched for the itt tech student portal and when i clicked the link, it froze. the loading circle on the tab continued to spin but my mouse pointer stays the arrows to move the vertical border. <-> like that. why is it doing this?

Safari freezes when I click the Share button or when I try to right-click on the URL to copy/paste

The Address bar and Share functions in Safari cause it to crash/freeze when I try to share or copy/paste the URL. Any ideas/solutions?

Might be an incompatible Safari extension or plug-in causing the freeze ...
Try troubleshooting extensions and third party plug-ins.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that off if there are any installed. Quit and relaunch Safari to test. If that helped, turn extensions back on then uninstall one a time to test.
If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.
Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect: Allow all other plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

Why can't I email my song from GarageBand? When I click the export button all I get is "send to iTunes"

i want to email my song out of GarageBand but it isn't allowing me to. When I tap the export button it doesn't show me an option to email. It only shows "send to iTunes" or whatever. Please help.

I have the exact same issue on my iPad 2. An update was released a couple of weeks ago that integrated this feature as well as a fade-in/out option and some others however when I updated it was the exact same as before!
Going by other threads about this, the general concensus is - send all your songs to iTunes, delete the app then re-install it again. When it's re-installed just put your tracks back on and you should be good to go. I'm going to try this today after work so I'll let you know how I get on if you don't beat me to it

My system has all of the updates and drivers. The problem stated when I upgraded iTunes.
Are you suggesting that because of that, I need to upgrade to Windows XP?
Many people are having the same problem as I, and they already have Windows XP....so I doubt that is the problem.
My question is:
Where can I find an older revision of iTunes? At least then we could use our burners until apple fixes this bug, and then upgrade.

Photoshop freezes when I click the Text tool.

Every time I try to use the text tool it freezes and I have to force quit.
Any suggestions on how to get the bug out? I've uninstalled and reinstalled, that didn't seem to help.

1.Is the application crashing on using Type tool?
2.Please share the snapshot of any particular setup if you are in or it is freezing just on first usage?
3.Did you try by clearing the application preferences?
4.Did you try by using 'Reset Tool' option?

My iPhone 3GS keeps freezing when I lock the keypad

I have a 32gb iPhone 3gs and it regularly freezes when I lock the keypad. It sometimes comes unfrozen after a while (usually a long time) and sometimes doesn't come back at all and I have to reset it. I find that it consistently and nearly 100% of the time freezes when I lock the keypad when I have accidentally left the wifi connection on. Can somebody please help me and tell me how I can fix this issue? when the wi-fi is off it doesn't usually freeze, the problems mainly when the wifi is active. Thanks guys

Try restoring the phone. Do a backup of your data on iTunes by syncing it to iTunes (or right click your iPhone and click backup) and then do a restore by clicking "restore". Do not disconnect the iPhone until it is done. After it is done, iTunes will prompt you if you want to restore from backup. Click your backup and let it run through it's process again. See how that works. It just could be a software issue.

Screen turns white and freezes when I click on a link

First, make sure that Firefox is set as the default browser. Ref: [[How to make web links open in Firefox by default]] and [[Setting Firefox as the default browser does not work]]. If links in Outlook Express that should open Firefox freeze the entire computer, you could try temporarily setting Internet Explorer (or another browser) as the default (see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Default_browser#Using_Set_Program_Access_and_Defaults for one way to do that).
If clicking links in Outlook Express still freezes the computer, you should seek help in a Windows XP forum or an Outlook Express forum ... for example, I found these with a google search:

ITunes freezes when I click on "burn" - CD diagnostics attached

iTunes freezes when I click on "burn" CD, or when I click on the "burning" tab in Edit, Properties, Advanced. I have to then use Task Manager to get out of iTunes then.

After Sleeping my PB G4 during the night, the problem still exist. After Restart, the problem is gone... I'll continue to watch this, and hopefully it won't be happening too often...

So, I thought that starting a New Topic, without a specifying the Old Version 4.0.3 would be a safer bet...
Then you should close the old topic by marking it as Answered or Solved; don't leave them open.
If Safari still freezes, try this:
1. Go to Home/Library/Cookies and delete the Cookies.plist file.
2. Go to Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari and delete the contents of that folder.
3. Go to Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Web Page Previews and delete the contents of that folder.
4. If you don't want to use the Top Sites or Cover Flow features, open Terminal and paste in this command:
defaults write com.apple.Safari DebugSnapshotsUpdatePolicy -int 2
then press Enter or Return and quit Terminal
5. Go to Home/Library/Caches/Metadata/Safari and delete the contents of that folder.
6. Go to Home/Library/Caches/Safari and delete the contents of that folder.
7. Go to Home/Library/Safari and delete these files (if you have them):
Downloads.plist
History.plist
Form Values
LastSession.plist
WebpageIcons.db
Then Repair Permissions, restart Safari and see if the problem continues.

I believe DdeGannes suggested permission on the Destination folder (not the source folder). Performing a copy requires only Read&Write permission on the destination folder, not the source folder. You need to go into your operating system and change the permissions to Read&Write on the destination folder. (If you don't know how to do that, go to your favorite search engine and type in Change Permissions Mac)
