Gateway access from an Internal ABAP server
Hi All,
I am new to Gateway.
We are having a ABAP backend system from where we are trying to access Gateway service through an UI5 application.
Our backend server and Gateway server are 2 different servers in our intranet.
Initially we got cross-origin errors. After resolving the error, we got an error "ERROR: ONLY FOR TESTING PURPOSE" from the SimpleServletProxy.
Is it like the gateway service can be accessed only if both UI5 app and Gateway service are in same servers?
Is there any way that an UI5 app can access gateway service from a different server?
Please let me know if anyone has some answers.
Thank you
Rakesh
Rakesh,
What you are experiencing is due to a policy enforced by browsers called as "Same Origin Policy".
Here is a nice blog on how to handle it in different ways.

How to synchronize the time from an internal ip adress (MS ISA Server)
How I can synchronize the time of eMac client from an internal Time Server (Microsoft ISA Server).
I have setting the DHCP time parameter but it does not work in the e Mac but only in Windows clients (2000 and XP).
My Firewall does not allow the eMac client to synchronize from the external time server.
Sorry for my english.
Best regards,
StefanoYes but selection allow to select only Apple Time Server: in my case Apple Europe (time.euro.apple.com).
The possibility does't exist to set up an other server outside of those proposals.
If you know like modifying the values proposals and adding a fixed IP for example, it makes to know me.
Sorry for my english and Thank you for your post

WLC 5508 Internal DHCP server issues
Hi,
I am hoping to get your feedback around the dhcp issues I am facing with Two Centrally Switched Wireless LANs. I have tried to explain the setup and the problems below and would appreciate it if anyone can suggest a solution for the problems I am facing:
The setup is as follows:
- I have a WLC 5508 which has been configured with 4 SSIDs, out of which 2 are using Central Authentication and Switching.
- I have an LWAP connected to the WLC in HREAP mode.
- WLC is configured as the DHCP server for clients connecting to the SSID 'Guest'. For the rest, I am using external dhcp server.
- Only one scope for Guest Interface is setup on the WLC.
Problems:
1. As far as I know, for WLC to act as internal dhcp server, it is mandatory to have the proxy enabled, but the Clients connecting to SSID 'Internet' are
unable to get an ip address from the external dhcp server, if dhcp proxy is enabled on the WLC. If i disable the proxy, it all works fine.
2. DHCP does not release the ip addresses assigned to clients even after they are logged out.
3. If a machine which was earlier connected to 'Guest' SSID connects to the 'Internet' SSID, it requests the same ip it was assigned by the WLC which it was assigned under 'Guest', but gets tagged with the Vlan configured on the management interface.

I have a similar issue where Wireless clients are not receiving automatic addressing from an internal DHCP server. I have multiple interfaces configured on the WLC which are connected to separate VLANS. The manually specified DHCP primary server entry is the same on all interfaces. Some clients are able to authenticate and receive automatic IP configuration but some clients are failing the address assignment process. I have checked connectivity between the WLC and DHCP server, this is confirmed as working. When I carry out a "debug dhcp packet enable", I get the following outputs which seems as if the DHCP discover request from the client is skipped. Your thoughts and inputs on this are appreciated.

Creating MS- Access data base from the Internal tables data of an ABAP Prog
Hi,
I have a requirement where I have to create Access tables from the Internal tables of ABAP program.
The tables are like Project systems Header data, WBS elements data, Netwrok data, Activity data, Milestone data and Project revunes. I will have the internal tables for these. I want to transfer these tables data into MS-Access tables onto Users desktop.
Please adivce me how to do this.
Thanks,
PrabhakarHI,
I am trying to create a DB table in the access but I am not successful. The following is the format of the table needs to be created from the ABAP program.
I have created a table with the following format in MS-Access with the name tblHeader. Is it neccessary to create a DB table ( MS-Access) in advance or by using the FM STRUCTURE_EXPORT_ TO_MSACCESS we need to create a structure in MS-Access?
False tblHeader
Field Name Type Length
ProjectDef Text 255
ProjectDes Text 255
Created Text 50
Change Text 50
RespPerson Text 255
Profile Text 255
Plant Text 255
ObjNo Text 255
OverheadKey Text 255
I have created a Z table ZTAB1 with the same format from the SAP fields.
MS-Access Table name : tblHeader
ABAP program Internal table : t_tblheader
Z table Name : ZTAB1.
First I am trying to create a structure in MS-Access with the following FM.
CALL FUNCTION 'STRUCTURE_EXPORT_ TO_MSACCESS'
EXPORTING
dbname = 'D:\test\db2'
LANGU = SY-LANGU
dest = 'PS_ACCESS_1'
TABLES
tabname = ttblheader
EXCEPTIONS
system_failure = 1
comm_failure = 2
OTHERS = 3
Table ttblheader type is DFIES and I am filling the table with only one record and one field i.e TABNAME and the value is ZTAB1.
The source code of the FM is using another FM
CALL FUNCTION 'MSACCESS_STRUCT_ EXPORT_RFC' DESTINATION DEST
Here I am getting the Error message Object required. I can't able to create a table structure in MS-Access.
Next I am going to Use the FM
'TABLE_EXPORT_ TO_MSACCESS'
and it will create the records in the MS-access table.
CALL FUNCTION 'TABLE_EXPORT_ TO_MSACCESS'
EXPORTING
dbname = 'D:\test\db2'
langu = sy-langu
dest = 'PS_ACCESS_2'
tabname = 'ZTAB1'
reftable = 'tblheader'
FLG_NO_DOWNLOAD = ' '
FLG_APPEND = ' '
FLG_POPUP = ' '
TABLES
dtab = t_tblheader
here t_tblheader is the internal table.
Reftable = tblheader is the table which i have created in advance. ( not by using the First FM)
In this FM i am getting a error message : Unable to connect to Database D:\test\db2.
Please help me how to create the MS-Access database. -
Sending data from final internal table to application server in xml format
hi to all ,
can anyone send details about send data from final internal table to application server in xml format.right now i am able to download data to presentation server in xml format . love to here soon from all the abap gigs.welcome to SDN.
are you using call transformation to convert itab to XML? the XML string is in which format?
convert it to xstring and then use the following code to store it in application server.
OPEN DATASET fname FOR OUTPUT IN BINARY MODE.
TRANSFER XML_content TO FNAME.
CLOSE DATASET FNAME.
where fname is the path to the file name.

Windows Server 2008 R2 - access from Anywhere
Dear All,
We have small business network in our institutions. Our network infrastructure is follows as,
Windows Server 2008 R2 with Domain Controller - Roles installed are ADDS, File Service, WDM, DNS, DHCP
Fully Qualified Domain Name : XXXXXX.local
Client System: Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit systems 30 Numbers.
Internet Connection: 1 Mbps download speed and 420 Kbps Upload speed from Airtel.
Router: TP-Link ADSL Router.
So far we have used our server within our premises, the router acted as a gateway and supplied internet service for server and client system. Now we want to access the server from outside of our network from i.e. domain users logon from anywhere from the
world. What are the requirements for this kind of setup and steps to implement this setup.
Thanks and Regards S.R. Karthick System EngineerHi,
Firstly, it is not recommended to install the DHCP role on a DC.
In addition, you can use the DirectAccess feature in Windows server 2008 R2 so that the clients
running Windows 7 Ultimate
can securely connect to the corporate network from any location without any type of traditional VPN. For more detailed information, please refer to the link below:

BT HH2.0 - Access Error: 500 -- Internal Server Er...
Hi,
When I try to bring up the "Home Network" page on my HH2.0 I receive
"Access Error: 500 -- Internal Server Error"
Is this a known issue?
- KI have a similar issue which I am attributing to the Hub 2.0 being faulty. Whilst I can access the hubs homepage 192.1.168.254 I often get ‘access error:503’ pop up on my devices. It seems to be an intermittent problem and is largely triggered when one of my 2 laptops gets switched on. Then I get a scenario where this laptop can happily access the hub homepage whilst all my other devices (another laptop, iPod touch, iPhone 4) all get ‘access error’. Once this laptop gets turned off then after a wait of several minutes all the other devices can now access the homepage. This is only a problem I have noticed happening recently though.
What makes things stranger is I believe this ‘access error’ problem only surfaced (perhaps co-incidentally) when I introduced my new iPhone 4 to my home network! It’s odd because although the access error exists it doesn’t actually stop any of my devices from browsing the internet wirelessly. It’s just the hub homepage causing the problem. Also my iPhone 4 just will not show up in the hub’s connected devices! Every other device shows up but not the iPhone 4. The main difference between the iPhone 4 and my other devices is it is the only one that has ‘N’ technology. My other older devices are ‘G’.
I suppose long story short is I believe the Hub you have is faulty. I am convinced mine is. It has these problems ontop of reasonably regular resets & slow sync’ing since being upgraded to the upto 20 m/bit service. -
Internal table in ABAP Server Proxy
Hi Experts,
I have developed a JDBC to ABAP Proxy scenario.
I have a problem. In my ABAP server proxy I have to import the values into an internal table and pass them to a BAPI for GR creation.
I get an error like. OCCURS 0 is not allowed in OO concept.
Can anyone give me examples on declaring internal table in an ABAP Proxy(OO Concept).
Thanks

I have an Script mostly that is generated by SSMS which works with-out issue on SQL Server 2008, but when I attempt to run it on a new fresh install of SQL Server 2012 I get an Msg 8631. Internal error: Server stack limit has been reached. Please look for
potentially deep nesting in your query, and try to simplify it.
The script itself doesn't seem to be all that deep or nested. The script is large 2600 lines and when I remove the bulk of the 2600 lines, it does run on SQL Server 2012. I'm just really baffled why something that SQL Server generated with very
few additions/changes AND that WORKS without issue in SQL Server 2008 R2 would suddenly be invalid in SQL Server 2012
I need to know why my script which is working great on our current SQL Server 2008 R2 servers suddenly fails and won't run on an new SQL Server 2012 server. This script is used to create 'bulk' Replications on a large number of DBs saving a tremendous
amount of our time doing it the manual way.
Below is an 'condensed' version of the script which fails. I have removed around 2550 lines of specific sp_addarticle statements which are mostly just copy and pasted from what SQL Management Studio 'scripted' for me went I when through the Replication
Wizard and told it to save to script.

Data access from Application Server - Seeking Opinion
I am working on a fairly large scale ERP application that is written in Java both on the front end, and middle tier ( using a JBoss application server ).
All of the database access happens in my app server, and when I wanted to get peoples opinions on the best way to extract and pass data to and from the database from the app server, and of course to and from the client.
I am using JDBC to make database calls and extra data from the database. This is of course pretty trivial. And I first started writing POJO that represent tables in my database. I then wrote a faily length method that uses reflection to call the setting methods and pass in the objects returned from the database result set. This of course becomes tricky when you start to join multiple tables together. And often you only need a small subset of columns in a table and don't require an object with all the columns from the table ( some set, and some as null objects ).
So then I decided I was use a combination of ArrayList objects and HashMap's to store the data. If a result set returned multiple rows, it would return an ArrayList of HashMap objects. Each hash map would contain the data for that row, and the hash map keys are the column names.
This seems to work pretty well and resolves the problem of joining multiple tables together and keeping track of which columns get stored in which objects.
Does anyone have a different solution or idea as to how to handle this? And thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.bryano wrote:

>
If you had a table that had 40 columns in it and say 1000 rows. And you needed to run a query that returned all 1000 rows, but you only needed two out of the
40 columns. Would it be better to extract those two columns into the HashMap / ArrayList collection I mentioned in my original post? Or would using something like Hibernate and a class that mapped all of the columns in the table be okay?Why not just map the columns you needed in Hibernate? Who said you had to map all 40 and have them be null?
My concern is on efficiency,
and I was wondering if building 1000 objects that each have 40 members that only 2 are populated is the most efficient way of extracting the data.Doesn't sound very efficient.
I will admit, my knowledge of Hibernate is limited at best so I may be missing a component of Hibernate that would allow you to only extract the columns you required, but you are still working with an object that has 38 null value objects for the columns you didn't require.I don't believe you're required to map every column in a table.

Address Book Server - access from WAN
I can access my Address Book Server using the server's LAN IP address but not its domain name.
I have set up a global Address Book using the technique suggested in this thread https://discussions.apple.com/message/10571482#10571482 which works well. I have a couple of users set up who can see changes the other user makes to the Global Address Book.
The Global Address Book is accessed at my OS X Server's LAN address, 192.168.1.1 with the details as stated in the above thread.
I should (and want to) be able to access the Global Address Book from outside my LAN using the OS X Server's fully qualified domain name, myserver.mydomain.tld. But it doesn't. The client (10.7) Address Book fails to access. The domain address is correctly mapped to the server and works for other services such as iChat. Router ports are (obviously) open.
So I can set up a client Address book using 192.168.1.1:8800/principals/groups/abglobal/ but not myserver.mydomain.tld:8800/principals/groups/abglobal/ nor over port 8843 & SSL.
Any clues?
Thanks!

Yahoo might...
I believe that for different email service providers, the method to access the address-book would be different. Can anybody leads to any of the service providers??
It likely would be, if it's supported at all. Ask the support department of your service provider. -
Leopard. Did a full restore from Time Machine. Now I can't access my other internal and external drives. I get the following error: The folder “Capture Video” can’t be opened because you don’t have permission to see its contents. I have repaired permissions pn the main harddrive. When I try too click on a disk I get the previously stated error. I can't even open up information to see what permission/access there is. It simply will not let me see the content. It shows the content of my main hard drive when I have clicked the other harddrive's name.
Solved:
sudo chflags 0 /Volumes/"FCP Time Machine BU"
sudo chown 0:80 /Volumes/"FCP Time Machine BU"
sudo chmod 775 /Volumes/"FCP Time Machine BU"
sudo chmod -N /Volumes/"FCP Time Machine BU" -

BufferedReader in = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(url.openStream)));
String inputLine;
while((inputLine=in.readLine()))!=null){
System.out.println(inputLine);

--- End of inner exception stack trace ---Hi Vivek,
In Reporting Services, values for LogonUser, LogonDomain, and LogonCred are created when the report server connection is configured to use a domain account. As to the error that “The encrypted value for the "LogonCred" configuration setting cannot be decrypted”,
we can know that it relates to the domain account for report server connection.
To fix this issue, we can refer to the following steps:
Log in to SQL Server Database Engine in SQL Server Management Studio.
Under Security folder, give sufficient permissions for your domain account.
Open your Reporting Services Configuration (go to Start -> All Programs -> Microsoft SQL Server 2005 -> Configuration Tools -> Reporting Services Configuration)
Navigate to the Database Setup tab, select ‘Service Credentials’ as the Credentials Type, then type your domain account and password in there. Press Apply.
Restart the Report Server services.

Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Katherine Xiong
