I have a big problem and I am not able to fix it. I have a MSI Geforce 6600 GT VIVO with the last nvidia drivers.
I have tried to install the WDM drivers (the one on the CD-ROM or the last issued on the nvidia site) and any
time I did it a new network connection was created (Microsoft TV/Video Connection).
I cannot remove it and it was still there after several reboots. The problem is because of the new network
connection I'am not able to have internet connection (high-band modem using ethernet ; freebox).
Any idea to help me. I didn't find any solution on newsgroups.

I have a problem that seems virtually the same as Andre31bis's. I recently installed an MSI NX 6600GT VTD128 on my system (AMD Athlon XP 3200+, MSI K7N2 Delta-ILSR--BIOS version 7.7, NForce chipset drivers version 4.27--with onboard NVidia LAN chip, 1 GB Corsair TWINX1024-3200C2 DDRAM, Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card, Windows 2000 SP4 with all updates, and DSL Internet service). I have the latest NVidia drivers (including video capture) for the card and it works perfectly except that the video capture drivers create a conflict with the network connections. Upon initial installation of the video capture drivers, the VIVO functions work quite well, but when the system is rebooted, the software loads extremely slowly, the network connections do not load, preventing network access, as well as the loading of Norton Antivirus's autoprotect, and ZoneAlarm takes many minutes to load. On such subsequent reboots, looking in the adapters and bindings tab of the advanced settings of network connections shows that none of the network adapters have loaded. I tried the advice given to Andre31bis by user_name, but that had no apparent effect.
Clearly, however, the network interface the video capture drivers try to establish conflicts with the LAN interface and prevents either from loading. I checked the DMA and IRQ settings while the drivers were installed and functioning and no conflicts were indicated.
Does anyone have any other ideas on how to solve this issue?

Are there any (beta or release) wdm driver for this msi's nx6600gt-vtd128 for windows xp x64 edition? If not, are there plans to make an x64 driver in the near future?

I have the same card, and i can't find ANY capture driver for it. Not even the WindowsXP 32-Bit.
Could you enlighten me on where exactly did you see the 32bit capture drivers? (Other than the MSI CD)

Now I noticed you said NVDIA's Website, they're even older than the ones MSI provided on the CD. Older by like 2 years.
What I'm looking for, is a place where I can find fresh new WDM drivers. Or at least an online package of what's on the CD
Drivers should not be availiable only on a CD.

AWE64 WDM drivers for Windows 98

I've put together a music computer running Windows 98SE on a PC with the excellent AWE64 Gold sound card (yes, i know there are newer cards). In order to install the ASIO4ALL drivers for reduced latency, the sound card needs WDM drivers. However, browsing the Creative support download page, i can find no trace of them. The only thing i can find are the VxD drivers. I'm quite sure that there were WDM drivers for this card at one time but now they have seemingly vanished without a trace. Maybe i'm just missing something obvious here.
Anyone know where to locate these drivers?

81.95 drivers Vs WDM drivers

Hi there,
My new 6600GT works better than I supposed, and (to my surprise) temps are pretty low. Concerning this point, my case temps are globally better than before. I guess that this is due to the fact that 6600Gt is significantly shorter than my old 5700U, i.e. air flow has improved.
But there's a li'l problem: I cannot install the WDM drivers (the card is a VIVO one). I currently run the 81.85 nvidia drivers and tried to install the latest WDM drivers, with disgusting results. Windows hang at startup and then the device manager just tells me that the wdm device doesn't work (or something like that). It's a problem I already found discussed in other posts, here and in other forums, but without convincing solutions.
Well, apparently, the new nvidia drivers (81.95) are supposed to resolve conflict problems with the WDM drivers. I still didn't try them, but was wondering whether someone has some experience with this issue.

Geforce 7 series vivo drivers

Hi I checked drivers at nvidia and the wdm 4.09 drivers for vivo doesnt support geforce 7 series and im getting a warning by windows that nvidia wdm video capture (universal) doesnt respond. So what can i do? the card commes with 4.05 drivers, same problem. I cant get video in to work... also before the welcome window when windows is starting the computer lock up for about 12 seconds(i think is because a driver problem), when i reinstall nvidia gpu drivers the first time i restart i dont have the problem (lock up), after that all the time. so what can i do?

The VIVO WDM drivers will not work with any of the 80 Series Drivers for your video card. I had to go back to the 78.05 drivers in order to get my VIVO working again.

[GeForce 6] NX6600GT-VTD128 Video Capture

As many of you probably know, the v1.08 WDM drivers are Macrovision free. However, I can't install them on my NX6600GT-VTD128. I get the notorious "Code 10: Device cannot start" error when I use them. The supplied v4.05 work fine, but are NOT Macrovision free. What am I to do?
System Spec:
(All the latest drivers installed)
MSI K8N Neo 2 (BIOS v1.5)
Athlon64 3200+ (overclocked to 4200+, I love MSI)
MSI NX6600GT-VTD128
Sound Blaster Live! DE 5.1
200GB WD HD (PATA)
480W Thermaltake PSU
WindowsXP SP2

I have exactly the same problem. I have downloaded the latest WDM driver kit from the nVidia site.
After installation two devices are detected. Going through the installation of the the first device (nVidia WDM Video Capture (universal)), this ends with the message that the device cannot be started (code 10).
The second device (nVidia Crossabr A/V) does install and start.
I want to use the video-in on my NX6600-128E for capturing old VHS tapes.
I have tried the WDM drivers both with VGA driver version 72.14 and 77.72. Same results!
Any help is much ap preciated!

Hello, I am having a lot of problems with the nVidia WDM drivers (all versions) and MSI Media Center II (w.patch).
I am using Pal-B and have tried using all the Pal modes, can't use NTSC/Secam.
I have a MSI GeForce FX 5600 256MB (VTDR-256) with Remote and a ViVo connector.
The Problem:
The problem that I am having is whenever I run Media Center II, and try to record something, after some time, say 10 or 20 minutes I get a blue screen and the system reboots.
Error Messages:
The blue screen has the following information on it:
IRQ_LESS_OR_EQUAL_
After the line which says STOP*----
nv4_mini.sys
Temporary Solution:
If I switch to NTSC the programs record fine and I don't any blue screen, however since my TV system is PAL and switching to any NTSC mode gives me the small problem of 1/4 picture being cropped from the bottom.
Could someone tell me of some other program that I can use, to record my TV shows besides Media Center II or maybe a different driver that won't give me this error.
I have tried the trial version of Ulead Media Studio but the problem is that the program records and each show is of about 3-4GB in size, I need a program which records in good quality and small size as well.
I have also tried Dr.DivX but I can't seem to capture anything using that program.
Also, I have looked at other threads but have not found any help yet.

Any time I try to install WDM drivers (i've tried quite a few different ones), windows reboots with a protection error. Anyone have any ideas???

I believe the incompatibility is due to software not hardware. I did have video capture working with a bare install with the 41.07's and the 1.23's. Now I have no crossbars or anything....kind of weird. I do not think it is an IRQ problem either. At this time I don't think I want to reinstall windows, though I probably will for the umpteenth time eventually. Isn't windows supposed to do a million things at one time and make me an omelet in the morning....brown toast please!!

ALl my pages work in "real" browsers. But particulary for Firefox there is a problem witch one is the most correct.
I have a page with a div that should expand to the bottom of the page also when the window is rezised.
In the real browsers all look good (not IE6), But in firefox the div dissapears in Browserlab in Firefox both on windows and mac.
I should have posted screenshots but its not possible
