Generate sales invoice. URGENT!

Hi all,
I really need help. Currently we are doing implementation. Our customer want SAP Business One to generate  2000 or more sales invoices every end of the month. Their current system can generate invoices automatically.
Is there any way SAP business one can do this?

I understand your situation because we are trying to make a recurring invoice for houseowner - who need this functionality to invoice according to a rent contract.
A good solution here would be create UserTables with the Customer/Items info which should be included in the invoices every month.
How to trigger this:
One solution is to make a UserQuery that executes a frequency with recurring invoices according to the SBO's Alert Management.
Alt.
Make a userform linked to the tables with recurring invoice settings - And execute whenever invoices need to be created.

  • Error in Account Assignment from Material Master to Sale Invoice.

    Dear Gurus,
    Pls guide me to resolve this problem:
    When i am generating Sales Invoice through vf01, system taking Material Assignment Group as 04, but in material Master assignment Group is 03. Due to this system unable to post accounting document.
    Every time user changing that material assignment group through VF02 and saving to post account document ( after changing system posting FI doc).
    How system take Material Assignment Group in Sale Invoice. Till now i am checking only Material master. Wht are the other parameters to define Material Assignment group in Sales invoice. <b>This is happending to particular one material only</b>

    While you define account assignment in TCode VKOA, you have a provision for defining the gl accounts in the combination of the following:
    1. Cust.Grp/MaterialGrp/AcctKey
    2. Cust.Grp/Account Key
    3. Material Grp/Acct Key
    4. General
    5. Acct Key
    When you save an invoice it searches in the above order to find a GL account.
    May be your setting would have been done only in 1st or 3rd ie., assining the GL account in the combination of Cust.Grp/MaterialGrp/AcctKey and GL Account. Hence if the combination doesn't, it would not generate the accounting document.
    If your business process agrees you can define gl account in Account key (4) or General (5) also, by which it would generate an accounting document even if it finds a wrong material group.

  • How to generate one invoice for a sales order with product returns

    Hi All,
    I have a sales order that has been delivered and goods issue posted. Now the customer returns some of the product and I generated a Return using VA01 - document type RE, generated a returns delivery and posted a goods return.
    I need to generate an invoice that will only consider the quantities that were not returned.
    I have checked the sales process pertaining to returns, but all I have found consider generating a Credit Memo.
    Is there a way to generate an invoice that will only invoice the quantities that were not returned? Say I sold 10 pcs, and 2 were returned, so I want to invoice 8.

    Hi Sandeep, Jyotsana, Goutham. Thank you all for your time and your replies.
    What is happenning here is that there is a vendor-client relationship where there is a constant flow of purchase orders, and the orders are large.
    I understand that it is standard SAP procedure, but in this case, it is not the most efficient. I have two alternatives the way I see it:
    1. Post the invoices according to SAP Standard, and then the Credit Memo.
    2. Reverse the Purchase Order.
    There are disadvantages with both alternatives:
    1. I get much more paperwork than I really need.
    2. When I get the returns, the delivery, picking and goods issue have been posted, and I would have to reverse all that. Not a very good Idea I think, especially if I have a purchase order with 150 different materials and I get a return of 2 items of one material.
    Again, thanks for your replies. From what you have told me I am thinking that what I'll need is to implement a User Exit or Badi.

    sales order,date,customer,material,invoice no,invioce date,invoice qty,amount.
    i wat to know which tables to be used and if possible which fields should be taken,plzz help me out as it s erally urgent to me.

    Tables to be considered: VBAK, VBAP, VBFA, VBRK, VBRP.

    Hi,
    According to me, that may be the following case.
    You have posted the sales invoice via FB70 by crediting the sales without Cost Element. Now later on, either you have activated CO or defined the cost element for sales. Now you are reversing the invoice. Therefore, system is generating the message.
    Solution:
    If no transaction data exist for that cost element then delete it via KA04. Reverse the entry in FB08 and now again define the Cost Element in FS00.

    I have one querry. What is the requirement of discount in row lavel as well as in Header lavel in sales invoice.How I will get the report of this discount.Because it is not generating any jurnal entry.only the net amount is posted in the JE.

    Hi Santosh
    SAP Business One always posts the net value after discount. If you would like the gross amount posted to sales and the discount to a separate account, you can use Freight charges to achieve this. In the first Freight charge post a - (negative value) of the discount to a discount account and in the second a + (positve value) to the sales account. The effect is as follows:
    Price ........... Discount ................ Nett Price ............... Freight 1 ................. Freight 2 ........Doc Total
    100 ............. 10 ......................... 90 .......................... -10 .......................... 10 .................= 90
    CR Sales .... 90
    CR Sales .... 10
    DR Discount  10
    These freight charges can be linked with Formatted Searches so it will be automatically posted.

    Dear Friends,
    I am trying to add some Sales Invoice with advance payment by DTW.
    Entries of Sales order , Sales Advance Down Payment request & Payment against Advance Down payment request are already done.
    In Invoice master file for DTW I add down payment amount in DpmAmnt.
    Invoice was successfully uploaded but link between down payment & invoice is not generated.
    But link between Invoice and Sales Order is generated.  
    How to link Down Payment Entry to Sales Invoice in DTW?

  • Sales Invoice Approval Workflow

    Hello Experts,
       I want to trigger workflow when any billingis generated with the transaction VF01.
       After research, I've found that there might be no standard workflow for approval of Sales Invoice.
       However I've found the business object VBRK.
       shall I have to write the new workflow for this with the Business object VBRK or is that anything which SAP gives in standard and I'm not able to find it..?

    My requirement is that when any billing document is created, by it should go for the approval to the Sales manager and after the approval only the billing block is removed and accounting document of the invoice is generated.

    As per your requirement, you should have a billing block at sales order level, because of that user will not able to create billing document. At the time of sales order save event workflow will trigger to respective authority based on sales value. The list of authorities along with their respective authorisied amount should maintain in a table.
    Based on that table workflow will trigger to respective person.
    That person will authorised to accept/reject that document, if accepted billing block will automatically removed from the sales order and SOP personnel can now create the billing for that.
    The whole scenario explained is for credit/debit memos.
    Please check your requirement and contact your ABAPer/Workflow expert.

    Actually I am developing a sales Invoice, I have designed it on smartforms. Now I need to write the print program. I am not able to understand where actually this sales Invoice would be triggerd so that it can be printed.
    In VF01, when I enter the Sales Document number and click save it creates a invoice number.
    Does any body know how it works, when the Invoice number is generated it should print the Sales Invoice.

    You can try to setup output control for billing document:
    - define your own access sequence or expand existing one with one more access based on KOMKBV3-TRTYP field (transaction type)
    - assign access sequence to corresponding output type
    - maintain condition records for corresponding output type with transaction type "V" - Change
    - setup processing routines for corresponding output type. Here it is medium "T" - Tasks (SAP Business Workflow). I didn't try myself to invoke workflow in such a way but it seems this stays for such purposes. Even if not you can try medium "8" - Special function and link your custom program which triggers workflow execution.
    This settings will lead to triggering output control whenever billing document is changed or created (this works for standard print medium for me) and invoke workflow execution (almost sure).

  • Reversal & clearance of sales invoice

    Dear Friends,
    In 4.7 version of SAP, sales invoice generated from SD is being reversed through VF11. In addition to reversing the document, it simultaneously clears the related customer line item in one company code. However, in other company code it only reverses the document, but does not clear the related line item.
    Can you pl. suggest solution to this problem.

    the effect in FI is debit Customer acct credit Sales
    in CO- this will reduce the figures in profit center
    SD-this will need a reversal of the document..

  • FB70 Misc Sales Invoice + EC Sales List (ESL)

    Dear All
    Does anybody know a way of having FB70 Miscellaneous Sales Invoices generate the appropriate data to appear in EC sales listing? We use this sometimes to bill for services rendered, but it does not appear to create ESL movements when we run S_ALR_87012400.

    Not an expert on this but trying to help.
    1) Firstly check your Tax code (FTXP) that you used for this transaction.  Are you using one which has a  tax rate of zero percent where you defined the type of delivery in question (service)  in the Properties- Field 'EU Code', in other words you have value 2 in EU code field for that Tax code?
    2) Looks like ESL contains data from normal documents whose output VAT code has been marked as an EC code (with value "1" or "3") in the system configuration.
    So that may be the reason why your Misc.  Invoice with tax code with EU Code of 2 is not getting into the report.
    To get it into the report, you should change the EU code to 1 or 3 for the requisite tax code.

    I have a requirement to develop an IDoc interface for Sales Invoice. I am not sure about the Basic IDoc Type, Message Type and Inbound Function Module to be used.
    I can see Basic Types INVOIC02/01 and Message Type INVOIC. And the Function Modules IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_FI and IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MM assigned in WE57. As my requirement is in SD perspective, I am little confused which one to use.
    Any pointer would be helpful.

    Sales invoices are generated referencing existing orders and deliveries through VF01 or VF04. Most if not all data for creating the invoice comes from the existing order/delivery documents (except may be freight costs etc which are know only during invoice time). So there is no standard IDoc (as most data for creating sales invoice is already there in SAP in the form of reference delivery/order) to create a Sales invoices. Sales invoices created through VF01/VF04 are outbound and can trigger INVOIC message type IDoc through IDOC_OUTPUT_INVOIC which is sent from SAP to the customer for billing purposes.
    The IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_FI and IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MM are for creating inbound vendor FI invoice (like that created by FB60) and MM vendor invoice (like that created by MIRO) respectively.
    If you want to create a sales invoice through BAPI the below modules are available but I am sure there isn't a standard IDoc function to post a inbound INVOIC IDoc to customer/sales invoice. These BAPIs will of course require you to input the reference document (delivery or order) to create the invoice.

    As a novice at the SQL game, I was looking to produce a single report of all sales invoice/credit note lines where the product code began with "tel" in a given date range for the selected account manager
    I've managed to complete this for Invoicing but despite best efforts, I cannot combine Credit Notes into the report. Can you help please?
