Generating a Consumer Proxy in SE80 for invoke a WebService on J2ee

Hi gurus,
i need to invoke a webservice(WS), deployated on j2ee, generating a consumer proxy on se80 transaction.
So if i try to call that WS by XML SPY it works fine and i get the response.
URL: http://192.168.200.30:53000/WebServiceTimesheet/Config1?style=document
But when i generate a proxy from SE80 transaction following the SAP doc (Generating a Consumer Proxy u2014 If the Model is Described by an External WSDL Document), filling all the parameter as describe, at the moment of the generation i get this error:
Exception occurred in communication framework:Error in HTTP
Framework:302Foundhttp://192.168.200.30:53000/WebServiceTimesheet/Config1?style=document
best regards
Claudio

Hi Gurus, sorry the erros was incomplete.
this is the error:
"Exception occurred in communication framework:Error in HTTP Framework:302Foundhttp://host:port/WebServiceTimesheet/Config1?style=document"

  • Generating a consumer proxy

    I have reached total frustration.
I am trying to generate a service consumer proxy for an external, non-sap web service. I have tried several different web services during testing, and all but the most basic ones failed with a library error, with the horrible message of "Not implemented".
I have begun to wonder just what IS implmented. Seriously, though, is there a way to find out the specific thing that is causing the whole proxy generation to fail. As i said, all it says is "Not Implemented" without any idea of WHAT is not implemented.
I am at ECC6, SP14. We cannot do an upgrade just to make this work.
Beyond that, is there a way to call external, non-sap web services without a proxy object? i would love to have a proxy object, of course, but this wizard is about the worst thing i have ever seen.
sorry for being so negative, but i have been fighting this for 3 weeks, scanning this sight, browsing OSS, and the only answer i have gotten is "install service pack 17", which is out of the question.

You must be new to the SAP world because what you describe is part of the "real SAP experience" !

    >Beyond that, is there a way to call external, non-sap web services without a proxy object?
Of course, there is. If you are ready to program low level http request with abap object...
An other possibility is what we did with was 6.20 when the SAP proxy was not available.
We used RFC server programs written in .NET with the SAP .NET  connector.
It was a sort of connector converting RFC calls in web service calls.

  • Easier option for invoking external webservice

    Hi,
what is the easy way to test invoking a nonSAP webservice (to which we give request and expect response).
i did file to soap scenario using bpm,
and i used file to soap using adapter module.
but both are bit lengthy procedure to check if we can invoke the webservice thru PI.
is there any other mechanism, or any other adapters that we can use to send the request and get the response from nonSAP webservice provider.

    hi,
    >>>is there any other mechanism, or any other adapters that we can use to send the request and get the response from nonSAP webservice provider.
not anything that would not involve using adapters...
    >>>but both are bit lengthy procedure to check if we can invoke the webservice thru PI.
but they both take less then 30 mins to develop & check (without a BPM even less)...

  • Generating consumer proxy for a webservice generated from a BAPI

    Hello gurus,
I'm having some kind of troubles when I try to generate a a consumer proxy for a service that I have created from an existing BAPI.
First of all, I have activated the service in tx SICF, I've assigned an endpoint from the Tx SOAMANAGER, and I can check the
correct work of the webservice from the wsnavigator, but the developerst still can't use it from the visual studio.
I was browsing help.sap.com and I found that I need to generate a consumer proxy and this must be linked with a logical port.
So I was trying to generate the consumer proxy, but I can't do it because I can't find the service in the Tx SE80.
How can I generate the consumer proxy?
    Best regards.
    Juanfra.

Sorry, but I was confused because what I had to do was generate a consumer proxy fro the user that will use the webservice.
    Best regards

  • Invoking a webservice using WSIF Binding

    Hi All,
I have few queries regarding usage of WSIF Binding in BPEL
My understanding was it is useful for calling Java Classes from BPEL Process.
Can I use WSIF Binding for invoking the webservice ?
Or the use of WSIF Binding is limited to invoking Java classes.
If we can invoke web service , Can you please let me know how to do it?
you can mail your replies to [email protected]
Any help will be immensely appreciated..
    Regards,
    Bhanu

First of all thanks to Jens and clemens.
From both of your replies, i learnt that we can call webservice from BPEL process using WSIF binding .
Can you provide me a bpel sample where we're using wsif binding for invoking web service?
    I have one more doubt:
"WSIF java binding means, which was used to call java classes. WSIF soap binding used to call web services"
    Is my understanding correct?
Can you explain a bit on WSIF Java binding?

  • Single workbench request for CONSUMER PROXY in crm 7.0.

    Hi all ,
I have a problem related to "consumer proxy" in sap crm 7.0 release. In our system , we have several proxies (existing) for consuming inter system web services (WSDL's) which were generated from SE80 , client proxies, wizard.
As we know , at the very first time of creation , the workbench request holds both the structure , class and object of the proxy ,but if afterwards , the proxy is regenarated for changed structure in WSDL , then that workbench request only holds the regeneration request , doesnt hold the base structure.
In our case , in those old proxies , there are so many requests .in some of it , many cross object requests are there , so we are facing problems to transport these proxies to a blank client(newly created).
    So my question is
IS THERE ANY WAY TO CREATE ONLY ONE WORKBENCH REQUEST (MIGHT BE FROM SE80) FOR THOSE EXISTING PROXIES , THAT THEY HOLD THE STRUCTURE AND THE CHANGED STRUCTURE ALSO FOR INDIVIDUAL.
    THANKS IN ADVANCE.

  • How to Assign Logical port for a standar Consumer proxy

    Hello,
I'm working with a SAP application creating a WS Connector that ask me for the following data:
    - Class name:
    - Logical Port name:
As far as I have read SAP delivers for this application an example implementation for the following web service: ProductionBillOfMaterialVariantBasicDataByMaterialAndPlantQueryResponse_In with the /BCV/CL_SIN_WS_BOM class.
And the help also says that We can find the example implementation delivered by SAP for the Web service ProductionBillOfMaterialVariantBasicDataByMaterialAndPlantQueryResponse_In in the package /BCV/SIN_PRX, under Service Consumer /BCV/CO_PRODUCTION_BILL_OF_MAT
In se80 transaction under /BCV/SIN_PRX package I can find /BCV/CO_PRODUCTION_BILL_OF_MATERIAL consumer proxy.
As far as I know, I just need to assign a Logical port to this proxy.
So, I go to soamanager transaction under "Service-Administration" --> "Single Service Configuration" and find this Consumer proxy. Then, under Configuration tab I select "Create logical port" option but I need to fill an URL for WSDL access.
Where can I find this URL? I think that I need to provide de WSDL URL (end point) of the ProductionBillOfMaterialVariantBasicDataByMaterialAndPlantQueryResponse_In Web Service but I can't find it on the soa manager. Or maybe I need to implement a WS by my own WB using the /BCV/CL_SIN_WS_BOM class?
I appreciate if someone could help me with these SOA concepts.
    Thanks in advance,
    Abigail.

    Hi Abigal,
In  SOAMANAGER , u can configure the logical port in 3 ways first it by WSDL and second by manually and third by PI.
    1. WSDL based :   URL will automatically determined using WSDL file.
    2. MANUAlly :   in this , we have to provide the URL .
    Thanks

  • ABAP consumer proxy generation for xMII WSDL's

    Hi friends,
I have a question related to generation of consumer proxies in ECC Box. I am trying to create a consumer proxy for xMII WSDL's using URL method. For the first WSDL, I was able to create a service consumer proxy successfullly. It created with the name "XacuteWSSoap". Now, when I am trying to create another consumer proxy, I am always getting the error saying the proxy object already exists. Then, I went to WSDL and compared all of them, they all are having port type as XacuteWSSoap. I believe this is the reason why, it is not allowing me to create a new proxy object for the second WSDL. Does any one know how to overcome this problem?
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Adithya K

    Hi Gaurav,
I tried both of the ways. Here are the results.
If I delete the proxy and create with new prefix its still the same issue I am having.
And changing the port type seems to work, it allowed me to create a new proxy object. But, again there are few structures which are getting regenerated and overwriting the existing values. Here is the sample WSDL: If you see closely, the complex type "InputParams",  Port type name "XacuteWSSoap",  Input message name "s0:XacuteSoapIn", Output message name "s0:XacuteSoapOut" are the things which are creating problem for me. If I rename all the above things that I mentioned like port type, input message, etc. Its working for me.  But, I dont think this is the correct way of developing these. So, I want to know whether there is any problem with SAP generating the things or I am doing any wrong.

  • Error when generating Web Services Proxy for SCA Application Module

    Hello,
I'm trying to create Web Services for a simple Application Module with JDeveloper 11g (11.1.1.3.0).
I start a new ADF Project, I create an Application Module as simple as possible : it contains only a simple View Object on the DEPT Entity.
On my Application Module, I choose "Service Interface" and I add my View Object in the service interface.
I test my Web Service in the Embedded Weblogic Server, it works well. (I succeed in using the Get operation, for example).

We have the same problem, and the problem was in the xsd import:
The wdsl import a schema that import other schema, the second import use a relative path, that was wrong.
So check the xsd import sequence....

    Hi Naichen,
I was able to successfully run both the autotype and clientgen Ant task, on the
WSDL you provided. The code behind those Ant tasks are pretty much what the WebLogic
Web Services test page run. Are you using WLS 8.1 SP2? If not, you might want
    to try with that version.

  • Errors/warnings occurred when generating the local proxy dll and VI wrappers for web service

    Hello,
I'm new to web services - trying to import a WSDL that was created by an outside vendor and placed on a company server.  I imported a previous version successfully.  The error I'm getting doesn't make a lot of sense to me, here it is:
The following errors/warnings occurred when generating the local proxy dll and VI wrappers for this web service.
    Can't generate files.
    Possible reasons are:
    1. The output file(s) might be read-only.
Remove the read-only attribute and import the Web service again.
    2. A proxy DLL that LabVIEW created under the same file path exists in memory.
Restart LabVIEW and import the Web service again.
I don't see any read-only attributes on the output files and I've tried restarting LabVIEW - no luck.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

I was able to successfully import and run the web services from the WSDL file in question in LV2009 on a different computer than the one on which I had the original problem.  Unfortunately I am still having the original problem on the project computer and will need to get it working there . . . still looking for a solution to that.  Apparently LV2009 is perfectly capable of importing and running this WSDL file, but there is something still in the way on the project PC.
    Thanks,
    Al
