Generating the .CAP, .JCA and .EXP files.

Hello;
I have downloaded the java_card_kit-2_1_2 to ‘C:\java_card_kit-2_2_1", and I tried to compile HelloWorld application that shipped with its distribution. I was successfully able to compile the file HelloWorld.java, but I am having lots of problems in generating the .CAP, .JCA and .EXP files.
I tried to follow the instructions in jcdk2.2.1 user guide, but of no use.
This is what I am basically doing:
_Step1) Setting my Environment Variables as follows:_
*set JC_HOME=C:\java_card_kit-2_2_1*
*set JAVA_HOME=C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_16*
*set PATH=.;%JC_HOME%\bin;%JAVA_HOME%\bin;%PATH%*
_Step2) Compile the java file_
The package of HelloWorld.java is : src.com.sun.javacard.samples.HelloWorld, so to compile I use the following command line:
*javac -g -target 1.1 -source 1.3 -classpath .\classes;..\lib\api.jar;..\lib\installer.jar src\com\sun\javacard\samples\HelloWorld\*.java*
_Step3) Converting_
I have the class file generated in the package folder: src.com.sun.javacard.samples.HelloWorld, I generated an .opt file as follows:

Finally, the command line for conversion is:

After successfully executing all these lines, I get the following error:

PLEASE HELP! I also tried adding -classdir to the opt file, but still did not work.
The whole point behind this exercise is to import a javacard framework of version 1.0

Thank you Shane, but my claSs file is indeed saved in "C:\java_card_kit-2_2_1\samples\src\com\sun\javacard\samples\HelloWorld"
Now since I am running my command lines from C:\java_card_kit-2_2_1\samples, so I guess that the class directory is:
src.com.sun.javacard.samples.HelloWorld
Right?

I need to improve the performance of on of the views that i am working on.
As suggested in the thread - http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=863295&tstart=0 , i gave generated the explain plan and the trace file.
From the explain plan, we can see the expensive operations for the query.
Can any one please tell, how to proceed further from here on i.e. how to make this expensive operations less expensive?
For ex: FULL TABLE SCAN might be an expensive operation when the table has indexes.In such cases, how can we avoid such operations to make query faster?

from my understanding though i have not worked on GB Payroll you have said that you deleted IT 65 details of leaver,however there must be clusters generated in system from where the earlier data needs to be deleted and may be that is why you are facing the issue.
In Indian payroll when we execute text file for efiling of tax after challan mapping all the data compiles and sits in PCL cluster and therefore we are unable to generate form 16 with proper output,here we delete the clusters and rerun again the mappings and then check form 16.
Hope this might help you,Experts have suggested you earlier also,they may correct me for this.

Problem in generating the Oracle report6i to PDF file.

Hi guys,
I had encounter problem in generating the Oracle report6i to PDF file. The Amount column once the report is genrated to PDF it double the amount reflected in the PDF file report. See sample scenarios below:
Can anybody help me explain this issue how it really happens?
Example:
FROM ORACLE REPORTS6i :

I do understand the issue, something seems to have messed up the Shell Extensions on the 2 Lenovo laptops you talked about.
Could you please check if the 2 m/c(s) have an additional version of Office installed in parellal to Office 2007, say Office 2010 trial pre-installed on them. This can be verified via CONTROL PANEL > PROGRAMS AND FEATURES > Check for the versions of Office installed. If yes, please let me know the additional Office software version/type.
Also, could you be more specific about the bitage of the system, i.e. whether the Windows 7 m/c is 32-bit or 64-bit?
This can be checked from CONTROL PANEL > SYSTEM > Under "System" section check for "System Type".
If converting multiple files at a time to PDF is an issue, as an alternate you could use FILE > CREATE > BATCH CREATE MULTIPLE FILES to workaround the problem for the time being.

Use the Office for Mac and ignore using Parallels for that. If you have PC only apps you have to run that are MS Windows only then consider Parallels. Just transfer your main PC, using Migration Assistant. If you don't know how then simply read over Pondini's article called Lion or Mountain Lion Setup Assistant tips and look for the section on migrating from a PC. Millions have done what you are about to, it's far from leading edge these days, if you go to an Apple Store to purchase they will offer this as a service, something you might be interested in.

They've provided instructions on how to download your files from your iDisk. What you do with them after that is your choice.

Load the External text and css file for more frames

hello..
       I created one Movie file. In that I load the External text and css file in first frame and display the first variable value in one text box.
And then in 2nd frame I use another one text field and display the 2nd variable value like that I want to load the more variable in more textboxes with different frames.
     I loaded for first variable value in first frame. But I don't know how to do next frames like that..
     Help me...

You need to load them in the frames they are in. You can store the loaded data in variables in frame 1, but you will need to extend that layer so that whatever is stored is avaliable in other frames. The code to load the data into the other textfields can then be done in the frames where it is needed.
There are other options, such as not using other frames for content or having all of them in frame 1 and making them invisible until you get to the other frames where they get turned visible.

Dynamically generating the ssrs dataset and filling the data into the dataset and binding it to ssrs report dynamically

I have a work to do, in ssrs we are using server reports in our project. i am looking for dynamically generating the ssrs dataset and filling the data into the dataset and binding the dataset to ssrs report(RDL) dynamically.
Getting the dataset dynamically has a solution by using Report Definition Customization Extension (RDCE), but the problem is binding that dataset to the report(RDL) dynamically was not there.

I have word doc which having 10 pages. I need to show all of the 10 pages at a time. I tried OLE object but problem is it shows only one page.
Is there any solution to show word doc / PDF file in CR?

Symptom :
When embedding a pdf document into a Crystal Report, only the one page shows.
Reproducing the Issue
Environment:
Crystal Reports OLE object
Cause
An OLE object only displays the first page.
Resolution
Embed multiple objects, one for each page
Or
Use a hyperlink to the object instead

OSD for the Caps Lock and Num Lock is not appearing.

Hi all,
I recently discovered that the Caps Lock and Num Lock OSD has stopped appearing when I activate/disactivate these functions. The functions still work, just that the notifications do not pop up.
All the rest of the OSD notifications still DO work, like volume, ThinkLight, brightness, etc.
I've checked the on-screen display settings in Control Panel and found that it set to 'enable' with fadeout at 3 seconds.
I've turned it off and on to 'reset' it but to no avail.

Submitting an image file for indexing generates the tokens "IMAGE" and "1"

This is a problem because the user is able to submit any file through a web interface, and we want to determine when there is zero output from the indexing process so we can warn the user that the file they submitted has no indexable content.
I'd rather keep the detection algorithm simple: currently it checks to see whether any tokens were indexed for the record the user just edited, and IF there were NO tokens, the user is warned that the file they submitted contains no indexable words. But if ctxhx.exe generates the string "Image 1" when someone gives it (for example) a jpeg file, that's not going to work.
So my questions are these: How do I prevent ctxhx from generating any tokens when someone gives it an image file? And if that's not possible, how can I include logic in a batch file to detect an image file and prevent ctxhx from handling it? (Since the files are renamed without extensions when indexed, I can't determine file type from extensions). I know there's a command-line program called TestForPDF.exe, which I found at http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/text/htdocs/altfilters.htm; is there a similar program (perhaps TestForImage.exe), or instructions for creating such a program?

I finally resorted to using the "format column" feature of the context index. The code in my front-end looks at the extension of the file submitted by the user, and sets the value of the format column to "IGNORE" before it tries to resync the index. It seems a bit kludgy, but it works.

New to C# scripting in SSIS. Everyday I download data file from a website. I need to schedule a page to include a script to auto download from the website everyday by navigation to reports page and submenu for a particular report. After I click it opens
a webpage where I need to select my criteria and download the file to a table. This is what so far I got

I got the success message. After login, I need to navigate to select reports and then from submenu select the everyday report and pass the input parameters to the webpage and download the file and export to a tables. Any help. Not much coding I know. Learning!!

Whoever instructed you to so is not prudent, once the report definition changed the package will break.

Generate the current URL with css file

I just added a QRCode App on my Custom List page and I'm trying to create a css file that
it can generate the current URL where the QRCode App is opening. The QRCode App allows to add css file which Indicates
if I want to specify a custom CSS file URL. The QRCode opens with each List item.
Below is the code that I've been trying to use:

As you use app, I guess you are working with Sharepoint Online and can't use server side code? If this is the case, then check the following post:

Unable to generate the source while having xsdconfig file

Hello All,
I am trying to generate the source using ant script and I have a .xsdconfig file
in the same folder as the XSDs. I am getting the following error:
[xmlbean] error: Document /home/xsd/Development/config.xsdconfig is not an xsd
config
file
I am attaching the .xsdconfig file just in case if you want to see what I am doing.

How to delete the heapdump, Javacore and Ariview files

Hi all,
i got the problem with the heapdump and javacore files
the problem is /usr directory we assigned space of 17 GB, after some days it got filled up, so we deleted the heapdump, javacore and arciviews in /usr/sap/SID/<instance>/j2ee/cluster/server0 directory. now it was showing the 35% of space is full, after one hour again it was showing 100% no space. but in the directory there is no heap dump and javacore files.
my question is other than this any where else it was creating the heapdump, javcore and arciviews
can you please help me out

There is no documented way to delete data stored in archived log files: you can only remove the archived log files if needed.
