Get current URL no matter who is the user

Hi
I'm creating a custom passord page using a Form based on procedure.
How can I get current URL no matter who is the user ?
I read previous message where it was recommneded to use WWPOB_PAGE$. Unfortunately, that table show the object compile under PORTAL30 user. We use another user to create or manage our pages.
Any idea ?

that's usually the root user - follow the instructions here to disable it. The same steps apply in Mavericks.

I have design an add-on for IE and I'm
trying to get URL from IE which is currently opened that is which is currently user sees. Is there any way to get it? I want to store that address in label and use it for something useful. Is it possible with C# ?
I have did the following code to get current URL but it showing last opened URL instead of current URL which is user see

You already got addon running in the active ie instance. You just need to catch the WindowStateChanged event in every instance so you can write down the last event with OLECMDIDF_WINDOWSTATE_USERVISIBLE somewhere. When you need the active IE instance, just
pull from your save.
Note an IE tab may crash and take your addon with it. It is better to start a broker process to store your global data.

What is postgres_real and who are the users _teamsse _devicem

I have an iMac 27" (late 2013) running OSX Mavericks
Looking at the Activity Monitor I note the process postgres_real is sending a lot of bytes over the network. There are multiple instances of this process. One instance is owned by _teamsse, another is _devicem. Another instance of postgres_real is owned by _calendra.
I know that postgres_real is a database program, but why is in running on my iMac and sending bytes over the network?
Who are the users _teamsse, _devicem and _calendra and what systems are they associated with?
Is there a chance my activity is being reported to Apple or some other enity?
Is there any documentation you would recomend so I can figure these things out myself.

Postgre is used on the Server version. Since you are running Server, you might want to ask on the OS X Server forums.

Who was the user that modified an Analysis

I´m using obiee 11g v 11.1.1.5.0 on Oracle Linux 5
I have 2 users for my example, user1 and user2 (both BIAdministrator Role)
user1 creates an Analysis with 2 colums: 1 from dim_table, 1 from fact_table (user1 saves as Analysis_name_X in SharedFolder_X).
user2 opens and modify the same Analysis_name_X from SharedFolder_X (adding a new dim_column and just save the Analysis_name_X).
so... in catalog says:
SharedFolder_X
Analysis_name_X | Last Modified Time DD/MM/YYYY HH24::MIN:SS | Created by user1
My question is: "How to know, who was the user who modified the Analysis_name_X" (in this case user2)
I search in Catalog Manager
columns availables:
Created Time, Last Accessed Time, Last Modified Time, Owner
but no something like: Last Modified User
Also with user weblogic searching in all folders (activating Administrator view) without success.

It's a little hard to find someone who modified the Analysis, because I guided only by the name of the Analysis into NQQuery.log file.

URG: How can i get current URL in PL/SQL?

i need to get the URL of a page in order to read the parameters i pass from a page to another page.
The owa_util.get_cgi_env('QUERY_STRING'); function doesn't work properly, so i'd like to know if there is a standard portal pl/sql function that return the current URL.
In particular i know the wwpro_api_parameters package, but i have some pages without any portlets inside.
For example:
if a URL has these parameters: http://.......?empno=10&deptno=20
can i use the "get_value" function in a custom procedure?
l_value :=wwpro_api_parameters.get_value
('empno','p_reference_path');
Does anybody know how to do that? and what do i have to put in the p_reference_path?

After several tries I narrowed down the problem to something very specific.
It always shows the Display Name of the user used in the Credentials in the secure store service application. It doesnt use the current user.
I do have access to the farm, but I didnt not install it, so am not aware if something is wrong on IIS/App Pools or service applications.
Any idea??

How can I get BCC to present timestamps localized for the user

I work on an ATG deployment has Internal users accessing a server located in Washington from all over the world. The users want to see all timestamps presented in their timezone (10/18/2011 09:30 Pacific Daylight Time is 10/19/2011 12:30 China Standard Time) not the timezone of the server. How can I get this effect in the BCC?

I do not see that form in the page source, so it looks that it the login form gets created via JavaScript and the Firefox Password Manager doesn't work in such cases. Form fill may store the name.

What does this have to do with JDBC?
But to help you, I would say to calculate the stuff yourself in whatever page lies behind the link when the user presses the logout button and/or link.
Or, to use a SessionListener and calculate as above to catch timed-out sessions. If you do this, then do not do the above, or it will get calculated twice.

Getting records based on date entered by the user

Gurus,
I have a valid to and valid from dates in ODS. The user is allowed to enter a date on the selection screen. If the user entered date lies in between Valid from and Valid to dates only these records need to be displayed in the report.
E.g.
ODS:
Valid From                   Valid to                       Functional Area
01/01/2009                  01/01/2099                             X
01/01/2010                  01/01/2011                             Y
01/01/2011                  01/01/2012                             Z
User Entered Date: 01/02/2010
Report Output:
X
Y
How do i do this? Appreciate your immedite assistance.

Hi Ravi,
You can do this by using cust exit, but that would affect the query performance adversely.
I would suggest that you use condition in your report.
Include Valid to and valid from dates in your report layout. Make 2 replacement path type formula variables on these 2 dates.
And also the date you are entering in selection option, make it a formula variable ready for input.
Now make a CKF. In the calculation write: (user date > valid from)AND(user date <valid to)*1.
And apply a condition to show only those rows where this CKF is 1.
The replacement path variables will work only when you have those 2 dates in the report layout. If you don't wanna do that , you can make 2 date type KFs and use them directly in calculation.

the FM SAP_WAPI_WORKITEMS_TO_OBJECT is useful when you want to determine workitems with respect to particular instance of the Business object.. For example
let say If at all i would like to detemrine all the workitems relate to mateiral.. then I would be using the exporting Parameter OBJTYPE of the Fm to which i wouldbe passing the BOR name as BUS1001006, which will give me all the workitems related to the BOR BUS1001006....
If at all i would like to get the workitem number with respect to a specific material ( let say MONITOR) then i would be passing the MONITOR to the parameter OBJECT_KEY along with Parameter OBJTYPE as BUS1001006 of the FM, so that the Fm will retrun the workitem specific to the instacne of the MONITOR only...
Can you please let us know how would you create a Vendor request...or atleast let us know in which table the vendor number is saved....

The portlet_runtime_record passed to the show procedure in the portlet package (called p_portlet_record in the PDK examples) has a field page_url, that contains the URL of the page.
