Get error -17308 on "End" statement using remote execution in TestStand 4.0.1

We recently upgraded TestStand 3.5 to 4.0.1. We have a test that has sequences remotely execute on another computer. These sequences call other sub sequences. The test worked fine on TestStand 3.5.
Under the new version of TestStand, when one of the remote sequences is called, it is returning the following run-time error:
"Error executing 'End' step.
Expected Number, found Boolean.
Error accessing item 'Active'.
Error code -17308; Specified value does not have the expected type.
Step 'End' of sequence 'MainSequence' in 'Initialize parameter database.seq' on remote computer xxxx."
Initialize parameter database.seq is a sub sequence called by the remote sequence.
If this error is ignored, the sequence continues to execute (including remote sequences). However, at a large number of other points throughout the test, when remote sequences are called again, similar errors occur, some times indicating errors executing 'For' steps.
I have never seen this error before, and I couldn't find any applicable information in the help or on the site. To my knowledge, 'End' steps are not configurable to return values, and the sequence was not written to use an 'End' step in an odd way. Does anyone know what is happening, and how to fix it?

Thanks for your replies. All of our stations had been upgraded to version 4.0.1 when the error occurred. Doug, apparently not re-saving in the new format was the issue in my case, since when I re-saved the files as TestStand 4 versions, the error went away. Curiously, we have been able to run all of our other test sequences without re-saving, and without seeing that error. It only occurred with this particular sequence, with remote calls and it seems only when those remote sequences made subsequence calls themselves (we had other remote calls that ran fine).
Mathieu, I never saw the GUI freeze here, it always came up with a -17308 error. I didn't get to try out your method, but thanks for your help.

p_rule => rc       --> What exactly in rc? It's just a counter. You are using this (SELECT EMPNO,ENAME,SAL FROM emp where deptno =v_deptno)query but not using a single value returned from this query in the code.

here i have mentioned the steps which i followed for creating agent service.
i have two machine namely A and B both having the ODI
i am going to use the B machine as a centralized server. so i edited the odiparams.bat file in B machine in ODI locaiton and filled the repository information
from A machine i opened the Topology and created the Agent service there i mentioned the HOST name as "B" and port number 20300. and i configure the logical agent aswell
from B machine i started the Agent service like agentscheduler "-port=20300".
Agent service launched seccessfully.
From A machine i tested the Agent. that also shown the successful window message.
then i started running the interface using the agent i am getting the error which i have mention in the beginging.
Interface which i ran will do the text file to table loading, so i kept that file in particular location in B machine( i have configure this location when i created the file data store in topology in A machine).
Please help me to solve the problem...

i have tried all the solutions like changing the url pattern "proxy/htttp".
and disabled - security in chrome (Chrome is Updated version).
i tried with IE still got the same problem.
And installed all the required software in eclipse

Yes, you do have the SAPR3 user.
But you don't seem to like to read documentation or learn about how the tools work or anything like that.
Therefore I gave you s simple way to reach your goal.
Of course it's possible to reuse the user.
But then you would have to deal with already existing tables, already existing data etc.
You don't seem to be able to do that. So, the easy steps might be better suited for your needs.

Do u have the list of all such assets for which no depreciation has been posted. If yes, then go to AFAB, upload the list all these assets & then select the radio button as 'repeat'.
This will post you depreciation for all the assets. then close the year.

Try to check this document Browser Support for SAP and use PAM (Product Availability Matrix) to check for the compatibility of your SAP system with the browser.
If you are only the user of the Web Dynpro you would have probably no other choice than change the browser.

I have processed large file and itseems the message got picked up successfully from sender side and got stucked in deleivering state. Can anyone suggest from where can we get error log that why the message is in delivering state.
I have checked in channel and MM log but nat able to find.

Non-SysAdmins get error 18456 Severity 14 State 11 Login Failed for user _ Reason Token-based server access validation failed with an infrastructure error.

I have a SQL 2008 R2 system (10.50.4000) where I'm having problems connecting any user that is not a SysAdmin. Example: I setup a new SQL Login to use Windows Authentication and grant that user db_datareader on the target database. The user attempts
to connect using Excel client or Access or SQL Management Studio and receives Error 18456. The SQL Server Logs shows Error 18456 Severity 14 State 11 Login Failed for user _ Reason Token-based server access validation failed with an infrastructure error.
The strange part is that if I temporarily grant the user the sysadmin server role then the user can connect successfully and retrieve data. But, if I take away that sysadmin server role then the user can no longer connect but again receives the Error

We've turned off UAC on the client machine to see if that was the problem, but no change.
I have dropped and re-added the user's SQL Login (and the related database user login info). No success.
The Ring Buffers output shows:

Yes, you understand correctly. The user is logging onto a workstation (not the server) with a Windows Authenticated id. The user is using either Excel or Access or SSMS and connecting to the server using a Windows Authenticated SQL Login account.
If the account has sysadmin role (which is only for testing) then the connection is successful. If I take away sysadmin role from the account then the connection is unsuccessful and the SQL Server Log shows Error
18456 Severity 14 State 11 Login Failed for user _ Reason Token-based server access validation failed with an infrastructure error.
(SQL Authentication is not an option here. I must use Windows Authentication).

I'm still having trouble. I tried to change the script to JavaScript. Now I'm getting "subForm1 not defined" error message. But it appears that subForm1 is set up properly.

Getting Error - Exporting Sequence (FCP 5) using 150 min - Best Quality

Keep getting error trying to export a sequence in Final Cut Pro 5 using Compressor settings DVD 150 min Best Quality. It's exporting the audio files, but not the MPEG2 video file.
The sequence is about 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Any ideas? (FYI: THIS IS FOR A DVD MASTER THAT WILL GET DUPLICATED FOR CONSUMERS)
