Get the name of the "loading things" on C#

Hello all,
I'm doing a splash screen and I want to put a label that shows the things that are loading. I've already seen some topics on the internet with tutorials that explain how to show the assemblies loading, but I want to show everything that are loading, as soon
as I clicks on .exe file, until it is loaded the form1_load().
How can I do this?

The splash screen is actually a .exe property that is displayed by the .NET runtime directly. Your programm can not display anything before your first form has loaded.
So the only way to add something to the splash screen would be to make Form "splash screen" that is the starting piont of your application, has very low loading time and would then load Form1.
About the only way you will ever get progres reporting done is if you put the actuall loading operation into a background thread, like a background worker. And that is beyond tricky once you realize that you initialize GUI elements in a background thread
(exactly not how that is supposed to work).
TlDr:
The build in splash screen is there to hide that your progamm is still being loaded into ram/doing startup processing. (it is not displayed if the UAC is still processing that file, btw).
You would need to make your own splash screen form and work with background threading, wich is a lot more work then this will be worth.

I don't have the disk and i tried the shift key and it didn't do anything, i have tried like everything but it won't work and i was givin this computer with a charger and that is all nothing came with it and i don't think that it had the lion thing on it either i never got to that it just won't turn on and i have another mac that was a family members but it won't turn on either at all it won't load anything the screen stays black. so i don't really know at all what to do is there anything else? i don't want to take it anywhere because i have no money for that, and i need this computer for school. Nope still nothing going incognito, or doing it through different browsers. I guess the other thing is a an online picture editing program told me I needed to update my flash, so I tried to install it several time but am not sure if it actually did. Before I started to resync calendars one by one as suggested in the troubleshooting article, I remembered something that came up in a sync when I first attempted : a 'which one do you want to keep' message about a repeating calendar event, which came up with three options, one from Calendar, and two from iCal on the phone. I deleted that event, then went through the calendar resync one by one, and all seems OK now.
In Music there is a way to find 'ghost' items that show up as grayed-out on the menus, so that you can try to reassociate or delete them. It would be nice to have a similar way to work with Calendar!

You won't lose anything because you have a back up, right?
Most Simple Back Up
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex:
Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically. Examples of such apps: Chronosync or DejaVu . But are many others. Search on MacUpdate

Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.

I seem to get the "Loading" message a lot. Any Ideas?

Here recently it seems that I am getting the "Loading" message a lot when I want to view an image. This is even true for the "fit" view. When I try a 1:1 view, it seems to take forever to load. And this is in the Library module. Also, my computer seems to be running in the background constantly when I have LR open. I am running a PC with Windows XP. I have 2GB of RAM and a Pentium 4 processor (3.0 Ghz.)
Also, I have the following options set in LR:
standard size preview 1440 pixels
discard 1:1 after 30 days
automatically write changes to XMP
Also, when I import, I check the "render standard sized previews."

The 'Write stuff to XMP' setting is a bad one to use at any time, in any version. If you need XMP files, my suggestion is that you manually command a metadata export at the end of your session, and then just let the computer work on the export while you do something else that isn't Lightroom. Just don't let it run on auto.
The biggest speedup that you can do is to work with a NEW catalog whenever possible, specially if you are doing sorting. If you need to integrate it into a central catalog later, just import it later. My previews went from taking an average of 8 seconds when I used a 1.2 catalog to almost nothing in a fresh 1.3 catalog.
The 'Create Previews during import' in 1.3 seeems to be somewhat broken under it's new design. I just imported 650 photos into a NEW catalog, and viewing them one after the other right after the import was taking several seconds. I think that it has to do with the previews being built AFTER the import is finished. So either wait it out, or better yet, if you want to see the progress, tell it to rebuild the previews manually. After that you will be able to see previews with zero delay.
Don't render 1:1 previews unless you will be actually looking at them. If you are just doing the initial sorting of photos, and you can check for detail later, wait until you have thrown out your garbage before manually commanding a 1:1 preview build.
After a long 'develop' session, go back to Library and manually tell LR to render the previews again, since they don't get uupdated during the develop phase.

My macbook pro is slow and gets the loading wheel often - Tried everything, been recommended to start using time machine

Hey, my macbook pro started going slow out of nowhere and gets the loading wheel often, I can't close it without the charger attached otherwise it heats up real bad. I've been told to get a hard drive and back up everything through time machine and then reinstall it but wouldn't that just carry over whatever problem I'm having. I've tried everything that I've found on here like going into disk utility and repairing anything broken, I checked my memory and all that and it was good but I deleted anything unnecessary and put all my music and movies onto an external hard drive.

If you don't already have backups, and you have any data that you want to keep, shut down the computer immediately and don't turn it on again until you have at least one external hard drive to use for backing up. Then see below.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)

If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

I do not want to restore my whole computer to a backed-up version because I have been using the other applications just fine. How do I restore just my iPhoto and not lose any pictures?

I actually interpreted this as a carrier lock issue. If that is the case the OP needs to contact the UK carrier who owns the rights to lock the iPhone. Only that carrier can unlock it.
Was the iPhone unlocked by means of jailbreak software? If that is the case, then the reply from Phil McCafrey would apply to this as well.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the email account and restarted the device. I can send mail fine as well as view my sent messages. Very confusing.

I have two yahoo accounts and I know as they 'improved' their servers I had periodic outages. It'd work fine on my webmail on my computer, webmail on the iPad, but not via the mail app. And it was stuff on their end. It may be a case of wait and see and you may need to eventually remove/readd the account on your iPhone.
When the issue is on their end, unfortunately there's not much for users to do beyond wait it out or find work arounds.

Which server will get the load?

Hi all
I have 2 servers, on 'server1', I have an flv file, on
'server2', I have an swf file.
The swf file on server2 loads the flv file on server1. My
question is, which server will get the burden of the load of the
flv file? Additionally, how can I test this to confirm this (bare
in mind, I'm not a server guy).
Any help is always appreciated.

You can basically publish it to one Origin Server and that server will republish the incoming stream to other 3 origin servers. This feature is called Multi-point publish. Basically you use application.onPublish and onUnpublish handlers in conjunction with Server-side NetStream Class to achieve this.

How to get the loaded cost for the Parked Purchase Order Invoices.

Could any one of you please help me out to find out how the loaded cost is calculated for Parked Purchase Order Invoices which have not been posted. The problem is that if the invoice is posted the ekbe-wrbtr field contains the total amt for any particular line item, i.e. the (material cost + unplanned costs + taxes ).
But for the documents which are not posted ekbe-wrbtr does not have all the key data fields as that of a posted document. Is there any way out to find the total cost for the line item which is not posted.

I oocasionally get an error msg "The connection was interrupted" with some reasons. Usually a reload works but sometimes I need to change the https to http to get the load.

The error msg states the site may be tempo unavailable or that I have a network problem; even trying to open a new tab will give me the same error. When I attempt to load my own website I get the "unsafe site" msg but switching to http from https allows my site to load. I can open a tab in Firefox ten times without a problem and then I'll get "The connection was interrupted" msg. I did a complete delete and reload of Firefox but the issue remains.
