Get Updated values in valueChangeListener of af:selectManyShuttle

I am using Jdeveloper 11.1.1.3.0
I have applied the valueChangeListener in selectManyShuttle to get the values in backing bean.
But the problem is, it's not giving me the updated values.
For example, for the 1st time, the left side list is empty. So, 1st time when I moves some values, it doesn't give me any value but next time, it gives me the the ID of previously moved items.
How to resolve this problem?

You can try to put the following line as the 1st line in your valuechangelistener method.
valueChangeEvent.getComponent().processUpdates(FacesContext.getCurrentInstance());

This issue is fairly common and Forms handles the situation by displaying the error, "Record has been updated by another user. Requery to see changes." if a user tries to update a record that was updated by another user.
If your data is in a base table block, you can check before you save by checking the value in the form against the database using the Get_Item_Property('<BLOCK.ITEM>',DATABASE_VALUE). You can compare the value returned by the built-in against the value in the field to see if they have changed. This could be a lot of work and a lot of network traffic if you are checking numerous items in your data block. Forms has a standard locking mechanism that will lock the queried record as soon as a user makes any changes. If another user queries and attempts to change the record locked by another user - they will receive a "Record Locked" message.

How to get updated values from the loops while they are running

Hello,
I am having difficulty solving a very basic problem, how to access the updated values from the 'FOR loop' while its running? Basically, the VI I am currently working on calls two sub VIs. Each sub VI has a for loop, and both VIs may or may not run for same number of iterations. My goal is to read the values at each terminal inside the loop of both sub VIs, in the Main VI. I tried to achieve it using Global Variables, but in main VI it displays only the last iteration value from both sub VIs. Could anyone please tell me whrere am I going wrong? Is there any other/better way to achieve this.
I appreciate any input on this issue.

In attached VI, I can see the values changing in the sub VI from the main VI with the numeric indicator whose reference is passed on to the sub VI. Now if I wanted to store or use those values how do I do that? I tried to chnge the indicator to control and read from it (in the attached VI) , but the the indicator updates only once. Tried to create a property node and read the Value from it and it didn't work either.

Problem getting updated values from DCIteratorBinding

Hello,
I have one af:table which is binded using DataControl based on ViewObject.
I typed some values in each column and now I want to access those values from the iterator but its giving me initial value at the time page loaded.
//getting the iterator
DCIteratorBinding itr = ADFUtils.findIterator("ViewObject1Iterator");
Row row[] = itr.getAllRowsInRange();
String deptName = (String) row[1].getAttribute("deptName");
The strange thing is, I have another ViewObject binded to af:table and it works fine I do not know whats wrong here

Hi,
the code seems okay and if it works with another VO but not this particular, then the issue obviously is not in teh Java code but the page code. Since you have a working and a not working solution, i don't think its an issue with the product.

How to update values in ValueChangeEvent..

Hi Everyone,
I am using Jdeveloper 11.1.2.0.0.
I have a scenario as follows. I have 2 input fields as Password and Confirmpassword.
I wrote a ValueChangeListener for the field Password to do some validations and I wrote another ValueChangeListener for the Confirmpassword field inorder to compare the values entered in both fields.
But here.., In ValueChangeListener event of Confirmpassword field, iam unable to fetch the value of Password field to compare.
The reason is ..., ValueChangeListener occurs in ApplyRequestPhase/ProcessValidationsPhase, and values get updated in UpdateModelPhase, hence values are not updating and unable to fetch in ValueChangeListener event.
In order to update values to the component tree in ValueChangeListener event, i tried using below code
valueChangeEvent.getComponent().processUpdates(FacesContext.getCurrentInstance());
But values are not updating..Kindly suggest me to achieve my scenario. Do the needful. Thanks in advance.

I tried fetching password field value in Confirmpassword field by 2 ways as follows
1. I binded value of the field as #{backingBeanScope.LoginPage.pwd} and tried to get value using getPwd() method.
2. I fetched Ui component of password inputfield and tried to get value using password.getValue()
By both ways Iam getting null value in ValueChangeListener event of Confirmpassword.
After clicking a button on the page , as usual the setters, ValueChangeListeners are executing and during this sequence..Iam getting value . But my scenario is this validation should be performed bu tabbing out of the field , not after clicking on a button .
autoSubmit property is set to true.
Kindly suggest me to proceed further. Thanks in advance.

SystemWideClassABPWP in RZ20 not getting updated

Hi All,
We need some help from you.
We have shortlisted the monitoring contexts in RZ20 around which we would like to configure our alerts in the system.
But just one concern, here in the monitoring tree under the monitoring tree Background, we have shortlisted SystemWideClassABPWP which tell the System Wide Class A Background Work Process across the instances.
But, we noticed that the value for this particular parameter is not getting updated (value 5 in the below screenshot).
The SystemWideClassABPWP and SystemWideTotalBPWP show inactive. This also seems to be non-modifiable (as per the legend in rz20)
Any clue as to how to activate them and update them with the latest value.

Thanks a lot for your reply. But we find that these parameters are not getting updated and so we do not see the log like Green 06.03.2008 , 20:03:31 besides them (for other )
One more thing is we have 2 application servers (1 central instance & other application instance) with each having 5 work process for A priority jobs and 20 work processes for other jobs. So these parameters should show the values as
SystemWideClassABPWP - 10
SystemWideTotalBPWP - 40
But this is not the case. Also, when the operation mode changes these values are not getting updated.
Request your kind help in this regard.

Please refer SAP note 581240 for this.
For these stocks you have three valuation types for selection:
' ' = no inventory valuation
'A' valuation = without reference to sales document ('make-to-stock
inventory')
'M' = separate valuation with reference to the sales and distribution
document/project
ONLY stock/stock movements with special stock valuation 'A'
(make-to-stock inventory) are updated in Inventory Controlling.
Thus, if you find a document which is not updated in the info structures
of Inventory Controlling (S031-S039) and you require this, check the
corresponding documents in the materials management tables. You can find
the special stock indicator and indicator of the valuation of the
special stock, for example, in document segment table MSEG in the
following fields:
MSEG-SOBKZ = Special Stock Indicator
MSEG-KZBWS = Indicator: Special Stock Valuation
Only A type (make to stock ) are updated in the info structures.

InputText value is not getting updated in Iterator

We are using jdeveloper 11.1.1.5.
I have having 2 bounded taskflows TF1 and TF2. In TF1 I am having Page1.jspx and in
TF 2 I have Page2.jspx.
I am having 1 page fragment Frag1.jsff inside that I am having 1 textbox and a button. Text box is binded to the iterator "iter1".
In Page1.jspx I have added fragment as a region and also I have added the iterator "iter1" in the bindings of page1.jspx
On page load I am getting the value in the text box after that I am updating the text
box value and on click of button I am trying to get the text box value using
following methods.
(1) Finding the Iterator getting the row and then finding the value as
Row.getAttribute("Name");
DCIteratorBinding dciter = bindingsImpl.findIteratorBinding("IName of the Iterator");
Row row = dciter.getRowAtRangeIndex(0);
row.getAttribute("Name of the attribute);
(2) Finding the RichSelectOneChoice component and then getting value
RichSelectOneChoice textbox= jsfUtils.findComponentInRoot("ID of the component");
textbox.getValue();
(3) Using the page definition attribute as :-
+jsfUtils.resolveExpression("#{data.PageDefName.inputtextname.inputValue}");+
Every time I am getting null value. Is there anything I am missing here.
When I applied autosubmit="true" property on the textbox I am getting value from the
1st method.
*Question 1 : - Is it necessary to use autosubmit property on the text box for the values to get updated in Iterator ?*
*Question 2 : - Why I am not able to find the value using 2nd method ?*
*Question 3 : - Is there anything wrong in getting value from page definition using 3rd method?*
Now When on click on button on page1 on some condition, I am navigating it to page2
and there is a button on page2 which invokes the TaskFlow return activity and so
returning back to TF1.
Now again I am clicking on the button on page1 but this time again I am getting value
of the textbox as null using all the methods :(
I have checked various post and tried putting *changeEvent="ppr"* in ur pageDef
against the respective VO entry but still after returning back from TF2 to TF1 values
are lost in the Iterator.
I tried sharing data control with calling taskflow but still I am not getting the
updated values.
Please suggest.

I am working on a module pool program.In the o/p screen there are many records.If the user wants to change the field values of a particular record,he clicks on the checkbox besides that record and when he click on the change button,control goes to update screen.In this screen when the user changes the value of one particular field and click on the checkbox beside and then click on the execute button,the changed value of that field should get updated in that particular record in the database table.Here I want to update mvke and marc tables.
I have used FM BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA to update the database tables.

Stock value is not getting updated in APO system From ECC automatically but if we do it manually from transaction CFM2 it will get updated.
for this we are using EXIT_SAPLCSTK_001.
I am using VL10A for delivery and VL06G for PGI
I have also checked integration model for material and stock.
Please help me out as it is very urgent.

Hi,
for transferring the stock data from R/3 to APO automatically, you need to have the integration model for material and stock activated.
please check the same.
if this does not help, let me know in detail the steps which you are following..

Field value not getting updated in R/3

Hello Experts!!
I am facing a problem while updating a field value back in R/3.
The Syncbo is of type U01 and the field has data type char 40.
The meRepMeta.XML file has following description

1) when i test the function module in R/3. The field value is gets updated.
2) when i create a record for the sync BO from client , i can see the field value being created on the client.
3) when i synchronize, i dont get any error or warning and get a successful message.

Hi,
please check your maping in the create handler in MEREP_SBUILDER. Perhaps the value is created on the client but not mapped to the field of the function module. Furthermore have a look into MEREP_MON and see if the data gets forwarded in there.
At last I would dump the information received by the function module into a table without any logic. So you can see what data actually is forwarded into the funct module - if brake point i not possible.

Please check with the Customer and Material Statistics group in the Customer and material master respectively.
Further check with the LIS settings (Sales Area combination with the Update group).

I followed your suggestions and implemented in the Development and moved the changes in to Quality Server. I tested it thoroughly by creating New Customer and maintained Credit Limit. I come to know that Problem is in all Servers. I made 3 changes.
1. In Pricing Procedure Sub Total A it was not maintained against Net value. I placed it.
2. Removed Credit groups for Delivery Type.
3. In OVA8 i maintained Max. Doc Value :99,999,999.00 before it was with 1.00
I checked the OMO1 Settings it was Asynchronous. As SAP Notes Suggesting to use Synchronous but here it's a client setting. So, It's Can't possible to change. Changes will affect other Company Codes.
Tested both in DVP and QTY Dynamic Credit Check is working Perfectly and Status in FD33 Sales Value field getting update.
If i move these changes in to Production, Will i need to run the reports again or not? How it will affect on Old Cusomer Billing and Credit Limit data. For few of the Customers the Credit Limit data it was exceeded. Please provide me advice. The issue need to be Solved immediately.
