Getting absolute file name using af:inputFile
Hi all,
Can you help me how to get absolute file name (e.g., C:\Documents\file.txt) using <af:inputFile> component or using any another JSF component.
Thanks in advance :)))
we can't get absolute path using inputFile, we can get only the file name. as per my knowledge we don't have any other component also.
i have one of my requirement i need to read file from specified folder, so i have hard coded my folder name in my managed bean.

Getting the file name using ehdr:getRequestHeader function in style sheet
Hi, I am facing an issue while using ehdr:getRequestHeader function to get the name of the file, which was placed in FTPS server and read by FTP Adapter. In style sheet I am trying to get the file name as below.
<xsl:variable name="fileName"
select="ehdr:getRequestHeader('/fhdr:InboundFTPHeaderType/fhdr:fileName','fhdr=http://xmlns.oracle.com/pcbpel/adapter/ftp/;')"/>
and based on the file name I am trying to fetch the values from Property file, map it to a schema and make a SOAP service call.
When i use the above functionality in style sheet exception occurs and in ESB instance I am not able to view the exception.
It is saying as 'Details of the message are not available, The message details would have been purged'. In logs it is showing the following error trace.

When I use the same function getRequestHeader for FileAdapter, it is working fine. Do anyone know why this issue occurs? Is this an issue with environment?As far as I can see the problem is the invoke of the SOAP service. This could be because of an empty filename but maybe there are other issues. First, make sure that the filename is read correctly by looking it up in the BPEL runtime process. Maybe the content is different than you expected it so that the read action for the properties give wrong result. Are you sure that ehdr is the correct prefix for the ftpheader?

Get the file name using XSLT mapping
Hi
How to get the file Name at receiver side using XSLT mapping.
Could any one please help me
Regards
sowmyaSowmya
If you will use Grpahical Mesage Mapping then this can be achieved using Adapter-Specific Attribute u201CFileNameu201D
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/43/03612cdecc6e76e10000000a422035/content.htm
Code Snippet -->
DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) container
.getTransformationParameters()
.get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
DynamicConfigurationKey key = DynamicConfigurationKey.create(
u201Chttp://sap.com/xi/XI/System/Fileu201D,
u201CFileNameu201D);
But in case you have to ONLY use XSLT mapping then I would suggest to use the same jave code & call it from your XSLT mapping. I never tried such thing you might use couple of jar files too.

Getting a file name using java.io.file
Dear List,
I am having problems using java.io package. I am reading a string on a linux tomcat server. I am
trying to parse a windows type filepath (passed by a web-browser-client) and get only the filename. ie. sample.jpg.
fileName = "c:\\temp\\sample.jpg"
java.io.File file = new File(fileName);
onlyFileName = file.getName();
remember this on linux, and on my server onlyFileName contains "c:\\temp\\sample.jpg" and not sample.jpg as I would expect.
can any one tell me what I (yet again) dont understand.? Strangely enough when the server is on windows and I am passing a linux string with the fileseperator as a forward-slash, the code manages to derive the correct filename.
regards
BenPost this to the beginners forum - has nothing to do
with native methods.Apologies I thought Java.io would be "native".
sorry,

How can I get file name using JSTL ?
Hi,
I'm now using <c:out value="${pageContext.request.requestURI}"/>
this return servlet path
How can I get just file name
or user path (in location bar) ?
thanks in advanceThe original uri (before forwarding) is available in a request scoped attribute.
These attributes are given the values obtained by calling the related method on the original request received by the container.
javax.servlet.forward.request_uri
javax.servlet.forward.context_path
javax.servlet.forward.servlet_path
javax.servlet.forward.path_info
javax.servlet.forward.query_stringSo if those two above don't work for you these might.
<c:out value="${requestScope['javax.servlet.forward.request_uri']}"/>
<c:out value="${requestScope['javax.servlet.forward.servlet_path']}"/>If these values are null, then the value in the request object is the correct one.
You mentioned the value in the address bar being a .html file. Do you perchance use framesets? If so the value in the address bar is always the url used to load the frameset, and doesn't change no matter where you travel within those frames. That won't be available to the server, because it has nothing to do with the current request.

How to get the incoming file name using JMS adapter and SOAP adapter
Hi Everybody,
In one of my interface i need to get the file name of incoming flat file using JMS adapter at sender side. and then i am using xslt to convert it to IDOC and then posting to SAP IDOC.
my incoming filname are in this form price<DateTimestamp>.txt. when i do the tranformation this incoming file name should be part of one element in the IDOC which i am posting.
EX:
<IDOC
<REF>price<DateTimestamp>.txt</REF>
</IDOC>
Hope it is clear to everybody. I need your suggestion how i can capture this incoming file name and send it as part of IDOC.
Thanks
rajIf they are passing it in message id or correlation id,
you can access it using
<xsl:variable name="dynamic-conf"
select="map:get($inputparam, 'DynamicConfiguration')" />
<xsl:variable name="dynamic-key"
select="key:create('http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/JMS', 'DCJMSMessageID/ DCJMSCorrelationID')" />
<xsl:variable name="dynamic-value"
select="dyn:get($dynamic-conf, $dynamic-key)" />

Get File name using File Adapter
Does anyone know how to get the file name that has been picked up so it can be past to a variable so it can be used in the BPEL process.
cheers
JamesHi James,
Here the STEPS,
Create File Adapter.
Add File Adapter Service to Receive Activity.
Click Receive Activity and goto Adapters Tab.
Click "Tourch" to get variable names.
Select Variable -> Process -> Variables and Click on "Create New Variable" icon and give name.
Select "Message Type" and click "Tourch" icon.
Now you select "Partner Links" -> FileAdapter WSDL -> Imported WSDL -> Message Type -> InboundHeader_msg and select OK.
It's done.
now you can use this Global Variable to get Filename and Directory name.

Hi,
Requirement: Get Windows User Name using Oracle Web Forms 6i.
Tools Using: Windows NT, Oracle web forms 6i, Oracle 10g DB.
Description: I am using GetClientInfo JBean from otn.oracle.com, which gets windows user name, IP address and machine name. The demo I got from oracle web site uses Jinitiator version 1.1.7.18. While we are using the latest version Jinitiator 1.3.1.17. Due to this reason, I am unable to use Javakey which comes with older version but doesn't come with newer version, that's why I can't create the new JavaBean Java identity (PJC).
Please advise what to do. All environment variables are set everything is done, this is the only thing bothering me.
I went through the article 202768.1 from metalink, but on step 5, it gives an error keytool error: java.lang.Exception: Input not an X.509 Certificate.
Also, please let me know if there is any other workaround for this requirement.
Thanks & Best Regards,
MoHi,
Thanks for your kind reply. Actually there was a problem in creating a certificate, now it is okay with the same method. Certificate got imported on client and everything is ready.
Now, the problem is when I try to set Bean Area Implementation Class property with oracle.forms.demos.GetClientInfo, it gives an error FRM-13008 Cannot find JavaBean with name 'oracle.forms.demos.GetClientInfo'.
I went through the articles 1072329.6, 196824.1, and set ClassPath and Path variables with proper values. Also, I have copied jar file and signature file in forms60/java folder. I don't see any problems. Please let me know what I am doing wrong. My limitation is that I have to do all this in forms6i.
I searched forums on metalink and found out that someone installed Patch 15, and everything went okay for him. Do you think I should install Patch 15? if YES, how will I do it, I mean should I first uninstall my forms and then install patch15 or install the patch on my forms?
Thanks so much for your help.
Thanks & Best Regards,
