Getting Bookmark destination information using IAC application

Hi,
we are developing an application in that we are opening pdf file in an user application window(not in acrobat or reader)but we want to use acrobat sdk only, and in the opened file when the user clicks on a bookmark or link, we need to get the destination information.
Actualy from IAC samples we got sample code (ActiveViewVC) we are able to open the pdf file in an external window, now we want to get destination information when the user clicks on a bookmark or link. Is it possible to do using IAC(using either C++ or C# ), if so, how to do it?
Any help would be highly appreciated.

After user selected the menu I will do my operation.

Then in WebDynpro application I'm using this code

I think you have a typo in your code. You can retrieve the work item id by using [code]<Property name="DynamicParameter" value="wi_id=${item.<b>externalId</b>}" />[/code] instead of [code]<Property name="DynamicParameter" value="wi_id=${item.<b>externaId</b>}"/>[/code]
In addition, you can get values from the work item container by extracting them as custom attributes:

How to get current sesssion information using Webappscontext in servlet?

Hi,
I have an applet embedded in a self-service page (using OAHTMLWebBean). This applet sends information to a servlet, to query the database. I would like to use the session that was created when I logged into Oracle Applications as the session for the servlet.
I have tried using Webappscontext myCtx = new Webappscontext(System.getProperty("JTFDBCFILE")); in the servlet, but it always creates an ANONYMOUS user session.
Is there anyway I can access (or set) the Oracle Apps session in the servlet?
Any response would be appreciated.

Keep getting "Download Error" when using Adobe Application Manager. Have tried from different areas.

I'm trying to update my CC Illustrator, as there is an issue that has apparently been resolved with a new update.
Whenever I try to update Illustrator, or even download a new application, I get an error window "Download Error. Try again or contact customer support."
I have tried to download both directly from Adobe Application Manager and from the Creative Cloud website itself. I have restarted my computer. This has been happening for 2 days now. Just can't seem to connect with Adobe Application Manager.
At one point I got a window message that said to check the Adobe Site Status, and all looked green and fine there.
And this forum appears to be the only "customer support" ???! I don't see any chat help or phone help. Is that true?
I can go back to CS4 Illustrator to get the feature that I need (zoom in/out using magic mouse+Option, which is my favorite and essential Illustrator shortcut) but obviously will need to update and download more CC features and programs in the near future.

Then you install the downloaded drivers after booting into Windows. You can also go to the source to get the sound drivers for your comuter. Get bookmark id for use in JavaScript

open it from JavaSciprt with variables.
When I'm copying the bookmark manualy and add the variables it works perfect.
I would like to know how to catch the bookmark id in JavaScript in order to create the new URL.

Thanks for the reply, H., but that script doesn't do anything in Safari apart from showing an alert popup that Safari users should press Cmd + D to store the page in Bookmarks.
The site I'm working on would need a possibility to store URLs that are different from the URL that is shown in the address bar (something like this: 'www.domain.com/direclink.php?p=contact.html' while the address bar shows 'www.domain.com').

How can i get user to use my application without logging on as a developer?

Can anyone tell me or point me in the direction of information regarding allowing users to be pointed straight to an application on apex. Curently i log in via the apex.oracle.com home page use my database name then my username and password. But that only gets me in i want to allow user to be able to view and use the applications. How can i do this? Or is this indeeded possible i would assume that it is.

Another possibility is that if you host it yourself, or go with one of the production hosting companies then they can help you to configure it so that you can point a DNS name (e.g. www.yourapp.com) to point to your application, so that is all your users would need to enter into their browsers.
