Getting error -1950679035, despite lvlib deployed without problems

When reading shared variables I get the error 1950679035, despite all variables being configures correctly and the lvlib having no problem being deployed correctly. Attached pls find a screenshoot of the GUI and the shared var. monitor. The variable manager will correctly list the process under which the SV are deployed, but its not possible to read/write the values of the SV's. When trying to write to a tag, this error occours "Error 1184 occurred at DataSocket Write in VarMan Write to Variable NATIONAL_INSTRUMENTS.vi->Variable Manager NATIONAL_INSTRUMENTS.vi"
On the GUI, you will see two tags with green leds, these are configures to direct access in via max to an I/O point.
Any help is greatly appriciated,
søren jensen
screenshooot files are attached as bmp's, please rename.

Hi Søren,
The error you are seing may be because of an incorrect path under your Bind to Source section for the shared variable.
You may also find this page useful regarding the 1184 error: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/29895C80B1015A15862571DC0078747F?OpenDocument.

Hi,
503 error comes when the client finds that the target server is not running or accessible.
Is the java system up and running? Check if the server nodes are up ?
check for the logs in work dir and if only server node is not coming up then check for default traces.
Amit.

• Getting ERROR in SDM while deploying

Hi All,
I have downloaded CRM Business Package for 4.0 file
BPCRM40602_3-10002661.ZIP from SDN.
I am trying to delpoy this using SDM.
I rename the file to BPCRM40602_3-10002661.sca and deployed but i am getting ERROR saying Manifest attributes are missing or badly formatted value...
Can you tell the reason for this.
and Can i get .SCA file or .EPA file for CRM BP for 4.0 in SDN or Service Marlet Place?
Points will be given ....
Thanks
Sandeep

Indeed that ZIP file is not going to work. It does not contain a Manifest.mf for a start. Manifest file will contain the version of the business package, the vendor and plenty of other information.
Possibly you cant use the SDM to deploy this business package. How about uploading it directly through the portal?

• Getting Error when trying to deploy Portlet Application on WebLogic Server

Hi,
We have a WebLogic server installed on a Windows machine. We created a new Domain, extended it with ADF Runtime and with Web Center Framework. It created three servers for us along with the already existing AdminServer, WLS_Portlet, WLS_Spaces, WLS_Service.
We created a portlet Application on our development machine using JDeveloper. When we run it from JDeveloper it runs as expected without any errors.
We created a Deployment profile for the application as an EAR file. Then we copied this EAR file over to the machine on which WebLogic server is installed (deployment machine).
On the Deployments screen of the WebLogic Server Console, we selected "Install", selected the EAR file we had created above, selected "Install as Application" and then selected the WLS_Portlet server on which to install it. Then we just kept clicking Next and Finish.
The first time we tried it, we got a NoClassDefFound exception for some class like JAXRPCServer. We did some research and found that to fix this issue we can put the containing .jar files of the classes not found into the public_html\WEB-INF\lib folder. We tried this for the above error by placing "wsserver.jar" file into the lib folder. Then we got anothe NoClassDefFound error. We again searched for the containing .jar file and put it into the lib folder. This continued for around ten to twenty errors and now we are stuck at a point where we are not able to find a way out.
The current error that we are getting is NoClassDefFound: oracle/security/jps/internal/policystore/GranteeFactory. We searched for the containing jar of this class and found it to be jps-internal.jar which is already present in our lib folder. The stack trace of the exception is:
<Jul 2, 2010 11:23:13 AM GMT+05:30> <Error> <Console> <BEA-240003> <Console encountered the following error weblogic.application.ModuleException: oracle/security/jps/internal/policystore/GranteeFactory

Any help would be appreciated on this since we are stuck at this point and have no idea to get across this hurdle.
One more thing, this is the first time that we are trying to play with WebLogic or even Java. So, some of our questions or steps performed might seem irrelevant here.
Thanks,
Gaurav

Hi,
Another update on this issue.
To remove the error that we were getting (java.lang.LinkageError: Class javax/xml/transform/Source violates loader constraints), we tried some searching around and found out that the way to fix it is to provide correct versions of xalan.jar, xml-apis.jar and xercesImpl.jar. We downloaded the required version from the apache site and added it to our WEB-INF/lib folder in the WAR file.
Now, we are getting this error:
XPathFactory#newInstance() failed to create an XPathFactory for the default object model: http://java.sun.com/jaxp/xpath/dom with the XPathFactoryConfigurationException: javax.xml.xpath.XPathFactoryConfigurationException: No XPathFctory implementation found for the object model: http://java.sun.com/jaxp/xpath/dom
What else we might be missing in our libs or do we need to check some other configurations?

• Why I always get error 404 after I deployed war?

Hi,sir
I have a problem when I am using weblogic 6.1(sp2). I developed a webapp and packaged
it into a war file. The process of deployment is no error. But when I want to visit
the app via IE browser, I always get the error 404. The weblogic server told me as
following:
<2002-6-22 下午03时39分40秒> <Error> <HTTP> <HttpServer(11051039,null
default ctx, myserver) found no context for "/mw/main/signin". This request does not
match
the context path for any installed web applications and there is no default web application
configured.>
mw is webapp context root,
main/signin is mapping name of servlet.
By the way, I deployed a the example of security in bea's examples directory. Unfortunatelly,
I met the same result.
how can i do?
thx for your response.

It is a database bug (an ORA-0600 almost always is). In this case it is bug# 1725012. You can see the details from MetaLink. There are some patches (by platform) available you should see which may apply to you.

• Getting error 1035 using teststand deployment.

Whenever I do a Teststand deployment and I select to password protect my VI's, I get a very freindly and descriptive: Error 1035. I assume (because I am a LV user and have been trained to decode cryptic error messages) that this means that one of my VI's cannot be password protected. Any help is appreaciated.

Hi Michael,
I have been able to reproduce the error on my end and I have something I would like you to try.
The proper way to deploy a Project Library (*.lvlib) from TestStand is
to insert a Deploy Library step before you call the VI with the shared
variables. To get the Deploy Library step you right click in your
sequence and go to Insert Step » LabVIEW Utility » Deploy Library.
Right click on this step and go to Configure Deploy Library... Change
the Library Path to the Project Library (*.lvlib) that contains your
shared variables. Set the Operation to Deploy. When you are done
calling the VIs, you need to Undeploy using the
same step. Set the Operation to Undeploy.
Also, make sure you add the .lvlib file to the workspace as well. In the example you posted, when I completed these steps, I could build the deployment successfully. I hope this helps!

Hi All,
I have a page where in the advance table I add few rows and save the transaction. First time when I save it everything works fine, but when I save it again without making any changes to the fields I get following error:
"Unable to perform transaction on the record. \nCause: The record has been deleted by another user. \nAction: Cancel the transaction and re-query the records to get the new data."
In the same page if I make any changes again it allows me to save the transaction.
Please guide how we can avoid it..
I have already checked many threads related to the issue but nothing has worked. Please help!!

I cancelled the update and my phone is fne. Has anyone else experience this? What is the cause/solution?
Yhanks!

DON'T DO IT! Read the threads ... there is a MAJOR problem with updating iPhones 3GS/4 to iOS 5.
Take it to the Apple store and ask them to do it.
I repeat: DON'T DO IT YOURSELF.

• Keep getting error msg: iTunes has encountered a problem & needs to close.

My iPod and computer have worked fine for a year and now....iTunes won't connect. If I plug in my iPod I get this msg...if I click on iTunes, I get this msg. Uninstalled and reinstalled...same error. Help please! I want more music and I am such a computer idiot!

Ta, Amanda!
When you get back to the PC, if the QuickTime problem is a BEX and the QuickTime control panel error message is:
An exception occured while trying to run "C:\WINDOWS\system32\shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL "C:\WINDOWS\system32\QuickTime.cpl",QuckTime"
... (the key here is that the message shows that the QuickTime.cpl is down in the \system32\ folder), then try proceeding as per my instructions to zach in the following post:
http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=10932033&#10932033
(If the QuickTime control panel error message says something different, post back to let us know what it says.)

• How to get a EAR package for deploying without local data-source setting in JDev9i?

Hi all,
I want to use pooled data-sources defined in OC4J's global configuration setting directory in JDEV_HOME\j2ee\home\config.
But when I packaged my application to an EAR file,it contains it's local data-sources.xml file in the package. Each time the server was restared, the local data-sources.xml file was overwritten by the originally setting in the EAR package, thus I cannot use the pooled settings.
So could let me know how to package a EAR file without containing it's local data-source setting, but use the global data-source setting?Or how to control the local data-source setting without changed after mannully defined.
Your reply is greatly appreciated!

Mike,
You don't need a File to do what you want. Even if you could, it would be wrong to use a file.
It would be wrong, because the compiler might not by using a JavaFileManager that is actually backed by a filesystem. It could be backed by some form of repository such as a database, or it could be backed by a transient in memory file system ( An example of the latter is the [annotation processor test framework|https://hickory.dev.java.net/nonav/apidocs/index.html?net/java/dev/hickory/testing/package-summary.html] in hickory)
But probably of more interest to you, you don't need to because you can simply [get an InputStream|http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api/javax/tools/FileObject.html#openInputStream()] from the FileObject returned from [filer.getResource(...)|http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api/javax/annotation/processing/Filer.html#getResource(javax.tools.JavaFileManager.Location,%20java.lang.CharSequence,%20java.lang.CharSequence)] and read it.
You might also find the [Compiler Tree API|http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/jdk/api/javac/tree/index.html] useful. The Compiler Tree API is available to annotation processors running in Oracle's (Sun's) javac, but not in other compilers (possibly limiting portability).
With this API you can [convert |http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/jdk/api/javac/tree/com/sun/source/util/Trees.html#getPath(javax.lang.model.element.Element)] the Element representing the annotation to a Treepath then [get the leaf node|http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/jdk/api/javac/tree/com/sun/source/util/TreePath.html#getLeaf()] and from that tree [obtain its offsets|http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/jdk/api/javac/tree/com/sun/source/util/Trees.html#getSourcePositions()] within the source file.
