Getting error as system.IO

Question

In my application I am getting following errors
1)'System.IO.File' has no constructors.
2)'ParentFile' is not a member of 'System.IO.File'.

I think you are using File where you mean to use DirectoryInfo.
The directory info type takes a constructor that is the folder name (you might need to provide the full path)

and has a parent property

but without any description of what you are actually trying to do, that's just a guess.
