Hello,
I have written a java stored procedure to execute an exe file, which works fine when compiled.The class code is given below.
create or replace and resolve java source named "CommandExection"
as
import java.io.*;
import java.util.*;
public class CommandExection1 {
public static void Command(String commandline) {
try {
String line;
Process p = Runtime.getRuntime().exec(commandline);
BufferedReader input =
new BufferedReader
(new InputStreamReader(p.getInputStream()));
while ((line = input.readLine()) != null) {
System.out.println(line);
input.close();
catch (Exception err) {
err.printStackTrace();
Through a stored procedure i am acessing the class which is given below,
create or replace procedure Exe_cmd(path in varchar2)
as
language java
name 'CommandExection1.Command(path)';
I am able to create stored procedure sucessfully.But when I run it I am getting the following error.
SQL> exec EXE_cmd('D:exeapp.exe');
BEGIN EXE_cmd('D:exeapp.exe'); END;

  • Error in accessing Java Class?

    I got an error when accessing JavaClass,
    The Java Class is following,
    packages mypack;
    public class myParentClass{
    public myParentClass{
    public String doAct(String act){
    return act;
    public static act class {
    public static final String ADD="ADD";
    public static final String DELETE="DELETE";
    And I am using JavaBean as the following,
    <%@ page import="mypack.*"%>
    <jsp:useBean id="mybean" scope="page" class="myParentClass"/>
    <%
    String act=mybean.doAct(mybean.act.ADD);
    %>
    The error I got is "No variable act defined in class myParentClass"
    I don't know why! How can I solve it?
    Thanks in advance!

    hi, you lose a semicolon ";" .
    you should add ";" at the end of the definition of "act" as:
    public class myParentClass{
    public myParentClass{
    public String doAct(String act){
    return act;
    public static act class {
    public static final String ADD="ADD";
    public static final String DELETE="DELETE";
    }; // this is the error .

  • Accessing java classes from javascript

    Hi,
    I have the following javascript function
    function testjava {
        var myString = new java.lang.String("Hello world"); // line 1
        alert("len:"+myString.length()); // line 2
    }It gives me a error at line 1 saying "'java' is undefined" in IE browser 5.5 sp2. But, both the lines execute correctly in netscape 6.
    Can someone please help..
    Thanks,
    Vijay.

    It seems that IE 5.5 doesn't support accessing java classes in JavaScript, so try to install IE 6 to see if it works or maybe, you doesn't have installed propertly support for JVM in IE.

    Thanks,

    Hi,
    Could you please make sure your binding style(Oracle Positional,Oracle named..etc) of the Seeded VO and Custom Vo are same.
    This is the option you will get when you are extending your vo. So make sure that both are same.
    You can refer the below link too
    VO extension leads to "Invalid column index" exception

  • Accessing Java Classes from Webservice Stubs

    So far I have been able to call a web service and copy the appropriate directories and files to the designated class path.  I can also successfully access a class file like this:
    MyObject = CreateObject("java", "ca.x.y.z.TestCollection.TestItem");
    However, whenever I try to do something with that variable, I get a white screen.  Any text that should have appeared before the command, will appear, but nothing appears afterwards, not even debugging info.  Here are a couple of commands that will cause this to happen.
    <cfdump var = "#MyObject#">
    MyObject = CreateObject("java", "ca.x.y.z.TestCollection.TestItem").init();
    x = MyObject.init();
    Anybody have any ideas?

    Ah, nothing like a fresh set of eyes to remind of the fundamentals.  Thank you for that.
    I actually could create a normal error by calling a method incorrectly.  I would see the grey box and my debgging info would appear.  However, if I did something I expected to succeed, it would seem to stop.  Any text above that command would appear.  No error message, no de-bugging.
    But I didn't think to look in our error log.  I see things like:
    Could not initialize class com.microsoft.schemas._2003._10.Serialization.Arrays.ArrayOfstring
    or
    org.apache.axis.description.TypeDesc.(Ljava/lang/Class;Z)V
    At least it's not a mystery anymore.  Thanks again for suggesting the error log.

  • Oracle Java Environment Error - Not enough java classes defined ?

    I'm using 11gR1, and recently ran into a problem with Java Stored Procedures.
    It was working fine last week, and then this week at runtime I started getting an error:
    Error in Oracle java environment: ops1 - java.lang.Exception: Not enough java classes defined in the database.  Java Stored Procedures are not installed properly.
    I checked both the SYS schema and my user schema's Java classes. Neither had any invalid classes. For my user schema, the number of java classes seems right. For the SYS schema, I haven't figured out how to get past the 2000 rows fetch limit, so it will max out at 2000 - none of which are invalid.
    I cleared out my user schema and re-loaded its classes, and they all compiled/validated fine.

  • Getting Error while Calling Java File from oblixpppcatalog.lst file

    Hi,
    We are trying to configure userservcenter_workflowCreateProfile in oblixpppcatalog.lst file to call a java class that returns an xml file as below
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ObEventParams
    xmlns="http://www.oblix.com/">
    <ObParamList name="ObRequest">
    <ObParam name="sn">
    <ObValue>Smith</ObValue>
    </ObParam>
    </ObParamList>
    </ObEventParams>
    But when we try to run this code by clicking on "Create User Identity" we are getting "An error in Pre/Post Processing of the Page has Occured" or Some times we get "Parse error in XML document sent by event handler to identity server".
    Can some please shed some light on this issue?
    Thanks,
    Ganesh

    Hi Ganesh,
    That event xml looks rather incomplete - I would expect it to contain information about the workflow, and workflow step etc. For example, I have a Create User workflow that generates Event XML beginning:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <ObEventParams
    xmlns="http://www.oblix.com/">
    <ObParamList
    name="WfInstance">
    <ObParam
    name="obwfinstanceid">
    <ObValue>f92cab82ee4b43ccba42869bb2928d0c</ObValue>
    </ObParam>
    <ObParam
    name="obworkflowdn">
    <ObValue>obworkflowid=060efe6966674e54be63383290d81e63,obcontainerId=workflowDefinitions,o=Oblix,dc=example,dc=com</ObValue>
    </ObParam>
    <ObParam
    name="obworkflowname">
    <ObValue>Create User</ObValue>
    etc etc...
    You could look at the Event XML that is sent to the plugin from your workflow to a file by reading STDIN and dumping it to a file. There is an example of this in Note 843570.1 (happens to be for a password change event, but it should work for any ppp exec event). Then your code could change the Event XML as required, but keeping the basic structure of the data that is sent to it.

  • PI 7.1 Enhancement pack 8: still error when referencing java class in xslt

    Hi
    I am getting an error in PI 7.1 EP 8 Repository when I try to use an xslt in which I make a reference to a java class. The error is:
    Transformer Configuration Exception occurred when loading XSLT XCBL_invoice_stylesheet.xsl; details: Could not compile stylesheet
    I use this xslt:
    <xsl:template match="/" xmlns:util="dk.dongenergy.pi.mapping.Utilities_datetime">
              <html>
    <B><xsl:text>Received: </xsl:text><xsl:value-of select="util:getCurrentDateTimeFormatted()"/>
    I have imported the java archive successfully and it is working in XI 3.0 and it is working if I comment out the reference to the java class in the xslt.
    the java class looks like this:
    package dk.dongenergy.pi.mapping;
    import java.text.SimpleDateFormat;
    import java.util.Date;
    public class Utilities_datetime {
    *     public static String getCurrentDateTimeFormatted() {*
    *          Date now = new Date();*
    *          SimpleDateFormat formatter = new SimpleDateFormat("dd MMM yyyy HH:mm:ss");*
    *         return formatter.format(now);*
    We have applied enhancement pack 8 on PI 7.1 as suggewsted in this note, but that has not done the trick:

    Any suggestions?
