Getting "open recent" items and "open documents" from an application

How do I ask Textedit (if running) for the list of documents currently open?

Thank you. This does the job for "opened documents" in TextEdit and other applications. I wish there were a similar method for "open recent" items. Each application (TextEdit, BBEdit etc) seems to handle the "open recent" items in its own way!

Open Recent Items list disappeared

Hello,
Well, the Open Recent Items list - the list underneath Users, Macintosh HD, etc - has disappeared from all applications. This is list vital to my sanity, it's taking twice as long to navigate to files now.
I've searched the Apple Discussions and the Internet without any luck. Does anyone have a solution to make this list viewable again?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Programatically create new mail item and open - body text lost on subsequent saves

Hi,
I have a problem with trying to create new GroupWise mail item from a
button in a C3PO. I require programmatic access to this via the Object
API, so it must be a saved draft. This is relativley straight forward to
do - just create a mail item using the object API, and then use the Token
API to open this item.
This worked fine in 6.5.0, however in 6.5.1 and 6.5.2 I have noticed that
when the user does a subsequent save, the body text of the message
dissappears in the GUI (it is updated correctly in the draft however) -
and all subsequent saves cause the body text to dissappear. If you close
the mail item and open the draft manually you can continue as normal.
As a test, I also tried to use the Token API to create a new mail item,
and then again to save the item in the work in progress folder. This
seems to work fine the very first time you do this, but each subsequent
time the same behaviour is seen - i.e. the body text of the email is
deleted from the GUI. Also, another observation here, event though the
mail item was saved in the WIP folder via the token API command
ItemSaveMessageDraft, it moves into the users MailBox when the user saves
it manually.
I have posted the two snippets of code from my test C3PO project at then
end.
This is a major problem, as we need to be able to reliably create new mail
items from a toolbar button, so any help very much appreciated.

it is always good to search in Google before posting .LSMW is very old topic and i am sure you will get lots of Documents on this .Please go through the below link .you will get some idea on this.

Pls practice this in your sand box or quality system before working it in the client requirement.

Try downloading and running the print and scan doctor located here to ensure there are no software conflicts:

Will iTunes open in safe mode? Hold down CTRL+SHIFT as, or immediately after, you click the icon that starts iTunes and keep holding until you see this prompt.
Click Continue.
Assuming iTunes has opened, enable the menu bar, if necessary, with CTRL+B. Then go to Edit > Preferences > Store and untick Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. Press OK, close iTunes, wait until it has had a chance to fully close then reopen.
Will iTunes open normally now?
If not, see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates for genral advice.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

being shown in an Asian Character set.
Is there a way to reset this to a traditional Western
font?

Please can anybody let me know which the field from which i can get line item details and material for the service order given?
I am using CRM_ORDER_READ to retrieve the values. In that i am exporting 4 fields - et_orderadm_h, et_orderadm_i, et_product_i, et_doc_flow. So from where to get line items and material id from these fields?

There have been issues with the app store and with game center. And they all seem to be on Apple's end. I'd wait for the next update and see if that helps.

I dont see anything like open PR quantity. u cant have GR based on PR, even if it is an internal order an STO has to be cretaed out of this PR.
Check for more with ur functional consultant and design acordingly.

How can we get Open PO Quantity and Open PR Quantity?.
I used 2LIS_02_ITM, 2LIS_02_SCL to 0PUR_C01 Cube and 0PUR_DS03 DSO and I have done lots of R & D by using restrictions i.e. Delivery Completed indicator, I'm getting GR Qty, but not Open PO Qty..
And in teh same way how can I get Open PR Qty?. From EBAN table, I can create Generic DS, But is the any SAP Defined DS's apart from 0DF_IS_DFS_32

App to completely clear all History (Recent Items and Folders)

It easy to clear the Recent Items list in the Apple Menu and also the Recent Folders in the Finder.
What is a good Snow Leopard app that will do both and all the clean-up for you, totally erase history on all fronts?

When we execute transaction 'ME3N', it displays the report which is having columns as 'Open Target Quantity' and 'Open Target Value'. I have the similar requirement to read this 'Open Target Quantity' and 'Open Target Value' of contract.
Is there any table which stores these values or is there any function module which gives the value of 'Open Target Quantity' and 'Open Target Value'.
