Getting problem with reusable workflow

I have one reusable workflow. it having more conditions and statements, it is associated to Case Library(Library name-- which holds all case details) . Based on workflow outcome status cases are forwarding to next level. Case library have case
start date, case due date , Case KPI durations columns. Base on case start date case due date , KPI Duration values are updating. Current image will represent conditions and statements
According to workflow condition KPI Duration has to update minimum 14. but some cases(Items) KPI Duration column is updating as an 13, 12,-761 values .
I have not found any errors are exception or workflow related issues in 14 bin\log folder also. Please help me...

The values are less that 14 is because the Find Interval Between Dates action in the workflow.
The action will use the second date to minus the first date in order to get the days between the two dates, so if the second date is less that the first date, then the value will be negative.
So in your case, if Today is earlier than Case Start Date, then the Variable: Case KPI Duration will be a negative number.
I recommend to add a condition after the first step in the workflow to convert the Variable: Case KPI Duration to a positive number.

You are probably using an implementation of DOM which does not implement DOM level-3.

I am getting problem with internal table & work area declaration.

I am working with 'makt' table ..with the table makt i need to work with styles attributes ..so i declared like this

    But end of program i need to update dbtable "makt"...i am getting problem with internal table & work area declaration.
i think makt table fields mapping and internal table/work area mapping is not correct. so please help me to get out from this.

Problems with Automatic Workflow Customizing

Hi!
I am having problems with Automatic Workflow Customizing (SWU3). I am trying to execute "Configure RFC Destination" manually. I receive the message "Synchronization of passwords failed".
We are using CUA and it is therefor not possible to create the user from SWU3 which means that WF-BATCH has been created in CUA with a pw which is then filled in by me when executing "Configure RFC Destination".
WF-BATCH has authorization SAP_NEW, SAP_ALL
My user also has SAP_NEW and SAP_ALL and usergroup SUPER.
Does anyone know what might be the problem?

Hello Anders,
Check if the user is locked in SU01. Then check if your user has been created in CUA.
It is recommended to delete WF_BATCH. The system will auto create the user ID WF-BATCH and synchronize the password.

Why do I keep getting problems with Apple not recognizing my email password? This suddenly started and just reminds me of the mess that mobileme was. Calendar dev also is not working. What a complete mess!

Can't access my email - endless messages saying password is wrong, which it is not. Mobileme all over again. I now need to forward all Apple mail to GMail, which is how an email system should work. Same is true with the calendar - a complete mess on the integration with my Google calendar.
This is really, really a pain!!

OK this is Cormacin Texas - these idiots have put me through the hoops, effectively locking me out of the support forum. Anyway I've solved the problem - it took 3.5 hours, involved a trip to the Genius bar at the local Apple store, and one and a half hours escalating through the dial-in help support - which was about the only thing the Genius was good for.
What you need to know is:
1. Apple are having problems with their servers, but have not published the fact - we've all wasted a lot of time because these guys want to keep their Customer Sat scores high, I guess. (I'm starting to feel like one of their Chinese factory workers!)
2. This server problem is compounded by the fact that it only affects a few random servers
3. It in turn can lead to problems sending emails which require you to change your Apple Mail password, and in my case surgically remove bad records for various hidden email and library folders. (Good luck with that!)
So, a problem that they hide, a knock-on set of work that the problem indirectly causes, which they also hide, and a support structure that is geared for hardware, not the services that they are now selling.
My suggestion is to change your mail password using the web (icloud.com) access to Mail and see if that works. After that, remove and reset up your Apple email (Preferences) and pray that you don't have to join endless telephone answering lines where some of the folks will cut you off because they can't be arsed.
The two guys that finally helped me were brilliant, knew their stuff and could not have done a better job. The key guy was Danny - if you get him, your golden!

I have installed oracle workflow server 2.6.3 on a oracle 10G 10.2.0.1 in Red Hat linux Enterprise 4L and I have Oracle workflow builder 2.6.3.5 on Microsoft Windows XP Service pack 2
I have the following error when i try to save or open and itemtype from the database
1005: Language is not populated, please refers to Workflow documentation for steps on populating a language.
How can i solve this i've alredy changed the NLS_LANG to match with the server
In the server the language is set to American and in the NLS_LANG i have set like this AMERICAN_AMERICA.US7ASCII

Siebel Problem With a Workflow Process (Pleaseee help REAL PROBLEM)

Well the problem is this i have a designed a workflow who is called by a JOB. Its functionality is to close Service Requests at certain time in the night.
when i simulate a workflow against 2 different Servers it works fine without errors, but when i run a job that calls this WP in those servers i have diferent errors in diferent steps.
In one server i have this kind of error in the last step "Cerrar Requerimiento":

If they have the same job and workflow, and BS's active(i use the BS in other workflows and no problem with it) why they give error in diferent steps but they work fine when i use the Business Simulator?, its there a solution?, this can be a problem about the server config or triggers??

1.Is you're server and youre client using the same version of SRF ?
2.Is the version for workflow in server and the one youre testing in client are the same ?
3. Last but not least this BCH EAI Query Utility search spec is it correct ? Can it able to return at least one record base on you're search spec because I know some business service are required to return at least one record else it will throw error.

Problem with cproject workflow

i have created one workflow which will be treaged when i will release any task from the browser. when i will release this task my project should be released. (this is only for testing ) my workflow is working fine but it is releasing after 3-4 hrs. can anybody tell me that why it is taking so much time? it might be problem with some basis/system settings.so plz basis ppl also look at it and try to help me.

I propose you set up an example and open an OSS call.
The cpro guys from SAP should have a lok at this and provide a fix.
But if you release a task, the workflow is started as soon as you save or do you reenter the project directly?
There exists a kind of event handler BADI_EVENT, where you can control field changes.
In your case to release the task and need the release of the upper project. I don't like this process, but why not.
One possibility is making a small modification. As soon as task is released, we release all subtasks too. So it can make sense to release the project too.
I guess 3 lines of coding are required, but where
Please try the BADI DPR_EVENT oder the DPR_ATTRIBUTES and in the SET DATA routine, try to set the project release information.

Getting problem with the new java.util.concurrent package

i m using the new concurrency package of jdk 1.5 in my code. see the line:

about this, api doc says Creates a thread pool that creates new threads as needed, but will reuse previously constructed threads when they are available
but i dont find this method to create new threads whenever required. please tell me about this.
in my code, in some rare cases many threads r created, and very difficult to detect the number of active threads.
as the previous one failed i tried with another one newFixedThreadPool(int). but here i got another problem. it works successfully but i dont understand what should be the size of the pool. i tried with 1000, it works well, but in a very rare case, it failed also. then i tried with 10000. but i m still confused, i dont know whether it would work always or not. with traditional threads my code never fails.
please tell me, what should be the size of the pool and also let me know what is the problem with the first one (newCachedThreadPool)

The thread pool should not be more than 100 threads. Ideally you should only have a small number of threads per CPU. If your threads are not long running it is possible that you could add 10,000 runnables but on start a small number of threads. Note, adding a thread take a non trivial amount of time so while the thread is added, all the others could finish. This could mean the number of threads could be 140 or smaller.
Have you looked at the code to see what it does?

Why are you updating Firefox so fast? I get problems with my Internet Bank every time before they have updated their software. And by that time you already have a new version.

I get a popup that tells there is a new version and I don't know how to get rid of it.
As I have said in the question I get problems when you are updating too many times in a year.
I didn't know where to ask this question. Maybe there is a better place, but I could not find it.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did finally find out that I could uncheck Firefox update and wait until my bank have done their update. (And I can of course use Internet Explorer...) But I still think you make new versions too fast.
