Getting RuntimeException while sending a JMenu Object via http

Hello,
since Java 1.5.0 i use a mechanism, which transfers a JMenu from my servlet object to my applet object via http.
Now since 1.5.0_02 i get this Exception while doing it:
java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.lang.RuntimePermission accessClassInPackage.sun.swing)
Now there is nothing to find about this. Not here in the forums, neither in google or anywhere else.
My guess is, its a matter of deserialization of thoses Jmenus.
Anybody out there with the same problem?
Anybody knows how to solve this WITHOUT changes the policy?
thanks
steffan

The directory that contains msgsend.class (usually the current directory)
is not in your CLASSPATH setting. Be sure that "." is included as one of the
entries in CLASSPATH.

• Error while loading the runtime repository via HTTP

Hi Experts,
I am trying to delete an enhancement and when I enter the component name and the enhancement set in BSP_WD_CMPWB. I get the following error when right click the enhanced view and select delete : Error while loading the runtime repository via HTTP. How do I delete this enhancement?
Regards
Abdullah Ismail.

if for some reason the runtime repository is not coherent, you get an error each time you try to read it (and this is the case when you open a component using the transaction BSP_WD_CMPWB)
this is because the XML file is interpreted by a CALL TRANSFORMATION statement, and any incorrect node will raise an uncaught exception
solution:
enhanced view is contained into BSP application you have created the first time you enhanced the component
go to SE80 and enter the BSP application where your objects are stored (the name you provided the first time)
there you can modify directly the objects, including the runtime repository which is stored under node "Pages with flow Logic"
once the correction is done, you can access again your component through transaction BSP_WD_CMPWB (and delete it properly if this is what you want to do)

• FYI Notification getting canceled while sending notiifcation 2nd time

Hello Gurus,
I have a custom workflow which incorporates AME and AME returns 2 of FYI Receivers groups at the end. I have designed the workflow so that It get the approval group from AME and checks if thats the FYI Group or not. If its FYI Group then it sends a FYI Notification to that group and get backs to Get_Next_approver_from_AME function to get the next approval group. After regular approvals, for the 2 FYI groups which it gets at the end, It is sending the FYI notices to groups but while sending the 2nd FYI notice it is canceling the first one. I have tried all the possible solutions setting the "On Revisit" to "loop" instead of "Reset". Can anybody suggest any other solution for this?
We are on R12 and using WF Builder 2.6.3.0.1
Thanks,
Sunny.
Edited by: user13369509 on Jul 21, 2011 11:24 AM

Set the 'On Revisit' value to 'Loop' and verify the issue.
If the value is 'loop' then Workflow Engine simply re executes the pivot activity and all activities that follow in the loop, without resetting, as if they have never been executed before.

• Sending an InetAddress-object via udp

hi there!
i'm developing a videostream server/client application. client is an applet. what i want to do is this:
since an applet has to be signed in order to perform dns-lookups, i want to work around that.
since the applet has to request the stream anyway and therefore connects the server sending udp-
packets, my idea was to let the server send back the clients IP/hostname as an InetAddress-object
inside a udp packet.
i tried the following:
info: byte[] buf = new byte[256];
on server:
InetAddress address = packet.getAddress();
buf = address.getAddress();
packet = new DatagramPacket(buf, buf.length, address, port);
socket.send(packet);
on client:
socket.receive(packet);
byte[] temp = packet.getData();
source = InetAddress.getByAddress(temp);
System.out.println(source.toString());
the system.out returns this: ıA)
or other unreadable stuff, depending on the ip-address of the client.
i think, this has something to do with the conversion to/from bytearray, doesn't it?
can anyone show me how to send an InetAddress-object so that i get an
InetAddress-object out at the client side?
thanks in advance!
you can earn some bucks, too!
greets
honfrek

hi there!
thanks for your help. i got it figured out now.
now it works like this:
on server:
InetAddress address = packet.getAddress();
buf = address.getAddress();
byte[] newbuf = new byte[buf.length];
newbuf = buf;
packet = new DatagramPacket(newbuf, newbuf.length, address, port);
socket.send(packet);
on client:
byte[] newbuf = new byte[4];
packet = new DatagramPacket(newbuf,newbuf.length);
socket.receive(packet);
source = InetAddress.getByAddress(packet.getData());
i made 2 mistakes:
- i converted the InetAddress to a string
- the length of the byte[] was too big. i had a bunch of zeroes at the end

• How to send a Connection Object via CORBA

Hi.
I've got a question.
How can I send a java.sql.Connection object
using CORBA to a client? Tried to use a class
MyConnection extending org.omg.CORBA.portable.ObjectImpl
as a wrapper class. Didn't work.
When a request was invoked for a Connection,
no object was send. On client side an error occured:
code 202 completed:maybe.
In the IDL we used:
typedef Object MyConnection;
interface ConnectionPool{
MyConnection getCon();
void freeCon(inout MyConnection c);
We were suggested to use structures. But ain't it
inventing java again?
Can anyone help us?
Thx anyway.

Try inserting it into an Any object and sending the any object over the IDL, the client can then extract the connection object.
You might have to typedef the Connection object in the IDL to generate the helper class.

• How to send a pdf file via http call

Hi Experts,
Please try to think on how you would send a file like a pdf file via the http call. You might need to convert the pdf in a character string which can be sent via http. The character string then might need to get converted back into a pdf and saved in a file. Read through the Archive Link API guide to see how they send the body of a file.
Please it is urgent......
Thanks
Basu

so you want to push the PDF file over http to external system.
where is pdf file stored.
for examle if its in the clients desktop, you can use gui_upload to upload to internal tabble (type BIN) then use FM SCMS_BINARY_TO_XSTRING to conver the binary table to type string.
then use cl_http_client class to push the file to the destination.

• Sending UTF-8 data via http post

Hello,
I'm generating an xml to be sent via http post method. Before sending, I'd like to convert it to utf-8, but Oracle converts it to utf-16, no matter what I do.
This is what I send with utl_http.write_text:
convert(l_clob,'AL32UTF8')...but I see utf-16 encoded output on the server side.
NLS_RDBMS_VERSION is 10.2.0.1.0
NLS_CHARACTERSET is EE8ISO8859P2
NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET is AL16UTF16
But I do not use NCHAR variables.
Is http post considered like exporting, where the os's NLS_LANG is important?
Earlier, I managed to save utf-8 xml-files without setting any NLS% params. It was with:
UTL_FILE.PUT_RAW(
file => file_handle,
buffer => UTL_RAW.CONVERT(utl_raw.cast_to_raw(buffer),
'AMERICAN_AMERICA.AL32UTF8',
'AMERICAN_AMERICA.'||charset
);But this does not seem to work here, since I have to send 'text/xml'...
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Laszlo

Not really the correct forum.. The methods you are using are more a PL/SQL issue than an XML DB issue. In general Oracle will convert the response into the character set requested by the client, are you sure your client is not requesting UTF-16.

• User getting locked while sending message sync via BPM. Please help

Hi Experts,
I have a sync - sync scenario where I am sending data synchronously from webservice to a sync RFC FM. I am using BPM and in BPM I have three steps
1. Receive step - Opens Sync-Async Bridge
2. Sync Send step
3. Send step - Closes SYnc-Async bridge.
This BPM solution is same as that give in the blog https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/1403 [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken]
When I test this scenario I am getting

On double clicking my message I found that there is an error " User is locked. Please notify the person responsible".
Why is my BPE struck in "Wait" stage and user is locked?
What am I doing wrong? Am I missing any settings in SOAP sender communication channel?
Please help me in resolving this problem.

Hi,
Few months ago we had also problems with "locked user" in XI, in our case XIAPPLUSER was sometimes (b)locked.
Perhaps note:
721548 Changing the passwords of the XI 3.0 service users
will help you.
We removed and entered the service users again, with the password in CAPITALS and language blank.
After that our problem was solved, I hope yours too.

The only problem is when I try to get(from the client computer) the ResultSet object, that come from invoking statementObject.executeQuery(myQuery) method, from the server Computer: it won't work. It said that the ResultSet object is not serialized(it is an interface). I need the ResultSet object for my client program since I will use it to set my AbstractTableModel class's object. Last goal is to put the AbstractTableModel object into the JTable constructor so I can see the result from a table.
Is anyone can help me? I can not return the ResultSet object to the client since it is not serialized.

I use the following solution using List. As List is Serlizable I can throw it across the network using RMI... it is also of course easy to access.......
For users objects you need to throw across the network just simply make them implement Serializable
In your ORM class accessing the DB:
public List getSQLResults{
Resultset SQLResults = statement.executeQuery(SQLQuery);
Vector results = new Vector();
while (SQLResults.next()){
// create class object here if needed...
results.add(SQLResults.getStrinf("COL_NAME");
return results;In your GUI class..
JTable theTable = new JTable();
DefaultTableModel theModel = new DefaultTableModel();
theModel.addColumn(SOME_COLUMN);
try{
List resultsData = ORMClass.getSQLResults();
Iterator iterator = List.Iterator();
while(iterator.hasNext()){
iterator.next();
theTableModel.addRow(SOME_OBJECT);
theTable.setModel(theModel);
catch(Exception ex){
// exception rasied...... do something!!!
}

• Getting exceptions while sending mail using javamail api

Hi to all
I am developing an application of sending a mail using JavaMail api. My program is below:
quote:
import javax.mail.*;
import javax.mail.internet.*;
import java.util.*;
public class sms
public static void main(String args[])
try
String strstrsmtserver="smtp.bol.net.in";
String strto="[email protected]";
String strfrom="[email protected]";
String strsubject="Hello";
String bodytext="This is my first java mail program";
sms s=new sms();
s.send(strstrsmtserver,strto,strfrom,strsubject,bodytext);
catch(Exception e)
System.out.println("usage:java sms"+"strstrsmtpserver tosddress fromaddress subjecttext bodyText");
System.exit(0);
public void send(String strsmtpserver,String strto,String strfrom ,String strsubject,String bodytext)
try
java.security.Security.addProvider(new com.sun.net.ssl.internal.ssl.Provider());
Properties p=new Properties(System.getProperties());
if(strsmtpserver!=null)
p.put("mail.transport.protocol","smtp");
p.put("mail.smtp.host","[email protected]");
p.put("mail.smtp.port","25");
Session session=Session.getDefaultInstance(p);
Message msg=new MimeMessage(session);
Transport trans = session.getTransport("smtp");
trans.connect("smtp.bol.net.in","[email protected]","1234563757");
msg.setFrom(new InternetAddress(strfrom));
msg.setRecipients(Message.RecipientType.TO,InternetAddress.parse(strto,false));
msg.setSubject(strsubject);
msg.setText(bodytext);
msg.setHeader("X-Mailer","mtnlmail");
msg.setSentDate(new Date());
Transport.send(msg);
System.out.println("Message sent OK.");
catch(Exception ex)
System.out.println("here is error");
ex.printStackTrace();
It compiles fine but showing exceptions at run time.Please help me to remove these exceptions.I am new to this JavaMail and it is my first program of javamail.Please also tell me how to use smtp server.I am using MTNL 's internet connection having smtp.bol.net.in server.
exceptions are:
Here is exception
quote:
Javax.mail.MessagingException:Could not connect to SMTP host : smtp.bol.net.in, port :25;
Nested exception is :
Java.net.ConnectException:Connection refused: connect
At com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPTransport.openServer<SMTPTransport.java:1227>
At com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPTransport.protocolConnect<SMTPTransport.java:322>
At javax.mail.Service .connect(Service.java:236>
At javax.mail.Service.connect<Service.java:137>
At sms.send<sms.java:77>
At sms.main<sms.java:24>

Did you find the JavaMail FAQ?
You should talk to your ISP to get the details for connecting to your server.
In this case I suspect your server wants you to make the connection on the
secure port. The FAQ has examples of how to do this for GMail and Yahoo
mail, which work similarly. By changing the host name, these same examples
will likely work for you.

• Getting error while creating Customer Invoice Request via Web Service

Hello,
I am trying to create customer invoice request via web service.
But I am getting the error message "No scheme configuration found for scheme '&CIRHP&' " continuously.
It is working fine in reference tenant. But using the same payload its giving error in another tenant.
Can you please tell me what is the root cause for this error?
I have included the payload used in the prototype tenant(Payload.txt) and screen shot of the error.
Thanks and Regards,
Sriram

Hi,
Check the WSDL file is wellformed or not..You can test it using tools like XML Spy.
Might be the attribute tag is missing something..If WSDL file is correct then, create proxy by selecting the WSDL file from local machine..
Regards,
Sunitha

• Sending a Socket Object via a Socket :P

eek Sorry all! I accidentally posted in "Java Programming" 1st... I don't know how to delete my post
http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5261765&tstart=0

why ?
At server side you can use input and output streams for communication.
for example:
You can have hashmap at serverside and put resp. sockets in it w.r.t. loginid.
So you have
key - socket
loginA - SocketA
loginB - SocketB
now write "serialized" message class
class Message implements Serializable {
String from,to,message;
// getter and setters for all
put this class at client and serverside.
When B will writeObject(message) to A he will actually writeObject(message) to server.
Server will use getTo() method of class message.
Server will get Socket from hashmap using getTo() "key" and will writeObject(message) To A
Bye the way I am still curious why you want to send socket ?
