Getting song titles to burn along with cd
i've been burning cds off my itunes forever, but i still haven't figured out how to get the song titles to transfer onto the cds that i burn.
how do i do that? the cd always comes up labeled "track 1, track 2", etc...
I guess you're talking about AudioCDs? The CDDA simply does not include track information except CD-Text.
To include CD Text may be chosen from the iTunes burning dialog - but that CD Text will work on very few standalone/Car stereos - it won't on a Mac itself.

I have been unable to access my account since 11/7/2007. E-mails with Apple have not worked and now I haven't heard back from them since Saturday. I have tried both on a Mac and Windows machine and keep receiving the same error message that:
This Apple ID has not yet been used with iTunes.
I last purchased music with this account on 10/30/2007. I even tried resetting my password, changing my account info, trying on a computer with iTunes 7.4, etc. I have money in that account and 150 songs and 5-6 tv shows that I cannot access. I also just purchased a new computer and cannot sync my iPod with this computer since these songs will not transfer.
Apple really needs a phone number for technical support. Having to deal with e-mails back and forth (and waiting a day for each e-mail) is not a good business practice. Hopefully they will have a phone number in the future.
Either way, count me in on getting annoyed that a week later, this issue has not been fixed. -
I am having difficulty including text with iPhotos I want to share through email. I get a red exclamation mark along with a statement stating that the text doesn't fit into the designated text area. This is so frustrating. Before iLire11 I was easily able to share photos with email messages. Arghhhh!
In the iPhoto preferences you can set Apple Mail as your e-mail client and then it will work exactly as before

When I load a CD into Itunes, it searches for the song titles but comes back with "CDDB error HTTP processing error". I tried the fix suggested by Apple but no luck. Any ideas what I have to do? Running Window XP with Qwest DSL service.

Windows XP Qwest DSLYes it happens with any CD. I have accessed Gracenote and I can find that they have the album on file. I also am using a router, Linksystem. I have turned off the firewall and that did not help.

my ipod nano 6th generation plays , stops , fast foward and rewinds songs by itself. it also speaks song titles non stop even with the setting off . please help me.
Found this solution in another thread, what you want to do is go into the Nike Fitness thing, go to run, go to Spoken Feedback and set it to off. This should fix your problems.

After downloading OSX Mavericks, my AOL mailbox has disappeared and all AOL messages have been lumped in the inbox along with my gmail messages. What do I have to do to get my AOL mailbox back?
Linking AOL and gmail? I don't know what that means. But if it means what I think it does - that you have the AOL and gmail servers chatting directly with each other through some configuration, I'd definitely disable that.
In general, the messages either aren't deleted, or aren't correctly deleted, or there's a protocol or network error, or some sort of a mail server error.
First diagnostic is a mailbox repair. Mail.app > Mailbox > Rebuild
Then verify that the credentials are correct and the connection is reliable:
Mail.app > Window > Connection Doctor
And yes, if you have gmail and AOL chatting directly with each other, undo that. -
How can I get song titles to appear in iTunes library when transferring songs from iPod to iTunes ?
My old computer crashed. Trying to recover music from iPod. Can transfer music, but not song titles. Titles appear in 4letter mpg formats. What am I doing wrong?
Provided the files were properly tagged then iTunes should pick up the data when the files are imported into the library. The main problem is usually any files in .wav format.

so, I updated iTunes to 11.0.0.63 on Windows, and the new layout looks nice, but iTunes no longer gives my total song count, memory footprint, and total play-time at the bottom of the window, the way it used to. I just want to know how to get that info back. Thanks so much!Ctrl / or View > Show Status Bar should do it.
Weirdly having turned mine on the menu is not there to hide it again and the shortcut doesn't work.

alright well heres the deal ever since i updated my itunes its been saying my ipod is corrupted and wouldnt update it...EVER...so i tried pluggin it n unpluggin it bout 5-9 times to c if it wud work again..i gave up and just restored it...and now it gives me an "the contents of this ipod cannot b read" and it says to restore it..but the ipod does not show up in the preferences tabs or in the source list...so i dont kno how 2 restore it...HOW CAN I GET MY IPOD WORKING AGAIN?!?!?!?!?!?!? plz help =(
i have had the same problem with my ipod nano... i updated my itunes to itunes 7 and since then - it says that i have no internet connection - and my ipod won't even show up at all... it says to restore it - did that, but still wont work...

This option used to be available in earlier versions of iTunes but I can't locate it in 11.0.1.
While importing into the library the online link to gracenotes was lost and the track appears as Track 1 etc in the libraryYou can get the drop down list by either right-clicking on the back/forward buttons, or holding down the left button until the list appears.

How can I get my mike to work along with my camera??
I recently made some videos on Photo Booth, but when I played them back the picture was ahead of the sound. I haven't had this problem before. I wish to share my videos with my friends and family, but not if they aren't working correctly. I would like any advice or suggestions to fix this.
You can try importing them into iMovie, in the editing suite, it allows to drag the aidio to help it sync bettter.

When I put a burned cd from one Mac into another Mac, song titles do not show up! I have to enter them manually! My CD player reads the titles that i on the cd; how can I get my Mac to do so?
The problem is that I burned these CD's myself from music that I added from my personal collection to iTunes. The INFO is ON the CD's (it appears perfectly when I put the CD in my Numark mixer...so I know the info is on the CD), but for some reason, my MAC PRO will NOT read the info on the burned CD when I place the CD into the MAC PRO. The CD was burned on a MAC that I no longer own. But there HAS to be a way to transfer songs from a burned CD with the INFO that is on the CD burned with iTunes.
