Global address validation is not working

Hi,
In the current situation, requirement is on Global Address Validation.
I consider that for BO DQ to run for Global Address Validation County, Street related data, City, Postal_Code and Region, these 5 fields are required. But while maintaining data for international user postal_code and Region field information is missing because of which record cannot be validated (i.e other related data cannot be pop up )with the Data Quality tool, also i cannot list out countries whose region and postal codes are not available.
so how can i validate the record on the basis of remaining three fields ie. Country, Street related data and City. Inputting these fieldsu2019 value Postal_code and Region field should also be populated and validated.

This is what I have for JCS 6 setup (verified that it works as well):
Server tab:
Incoming mail server: mail.foobar.com port 143
Outgoing mail server: mail.foobar.com port 25
LDAP server (Global Address List): ldap.foobar.com port 389
LDAP server (User settings): ldap.foobar.com port 389
Address book server: convergence.foobar.com port 80
Calendar server: calendar.foobar.com port 8004
LDAP tab:
Search base: o=foobar.com,o=isp
VLV search filter is the default value
VLV sort attribute is cn
Require authentication is checked
User DN pattern is uid=%s,ou=people,o=foobar.com,o=isp
Retrieve user settings from LDAP should be checked
User DN pattern is the same as under 'Require authentication'
Address book tab:
Sun Java System Address Book Server Settings needs to have iwc/svc in the right hand side.
The server tab entry for address book server will automatically be on the left side of the field.

Address Book is Not Working

Suddenly Address Book is not working. I can type addresses into Mail, but if I try to click on names directly from Address Book, nothing happens. It has been working fine until today. Contacts is fine; all addresses are there, but I wanted to enter several people from Address Book and nothing prints. How can I fix it? I have an Imac with Mountain Lion.

Why Strict validation is not working

Why the Strict validation is not working in the XMLDB. I validated successfully the same file from XML Spy. The error in Oracle is:

Publishing HTML(Page content) field required field validation is not working

The required field validation is not working on Site Column of type "Full HTML content with formatting and constraints for publishing". I found a link i.e.

You could add a scripteditor webpart on the newform.aspx page and add client side validation using jQuery.

Downloaded Global Address List does not download all fields

I have my Global Address List from the Exchange Server linked into an Access 2003 database. (Will not link to Access 2007, 2010 format). There is one field (TITLE) that appears in the structure of the linked table but the data for that field is not
downloaded. When I look at the Global Address List in Outlook, the TITLE field is populated with the appropriate data. How can I get the data from the TITLE field into the Access linked table?

If I understood correctly, the data of TITLE filed didn't download in Access 2003. Also as far as I tested, this field works well in Access 2013.

Why does the address/status bar not work?

After updating to 9.0.1, my status bar will not work, or my address bar. If I try to type in anything and press enter into the address bar, nothing happens. Also, I cannot press forward or back as they always remain grayed out. The only way I can get to a website is by pressing home, which is thankfully google. I have to google the url to go to it.
Remembering now actually, I copied all the folders from the main firefox folder and pasted them into a new install of firefox (I had this problem actually before firefox updated). I was hoping that copying these folders would save my addons and etc. after I downloaded a new firefox and re-installed it. I put the folders back and firefox is still messed up :/
I just want it to work more Q_Q

That issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.

Validation is not working for F-28 and F-53

I wrote a validation for Transaction Code F-28 and F-53 and F-44 and F-54. But it is not working. Kindly help me where i went wrong. please do the needful.
Pre-Requisite : Company Code and Transaction Code
Check : Business Area 4000
Requirement is - In the above transaction if i give the other business area like 3000, system should throw error. System should only accept the Business Area 4000
But i am not able to succeed to full fill the requirement.. Kindly Help me

Hi,
Please pass some transactions using mentioned t-codes in testing server. After passing transactions please check the accounting document header for checking T-code for the same.
Use that t-code for validations . also check whether Validation - call p point is activated or not in t-code OB28

Adding Faces to Address Book Contacts-Not working!

I tried adding some faces to my Address book's contacts, but the "Face" icon, that is supposed to link you to your iPhoto Library does not work. It is dimmed.
And choosing my iPhoto Library instead, in hopes of being able to access my photos with faces, does not get around this problem.
Anyone know of a fix?

I placed this question up here almost two years ago, and the problem has since resolved itself. I think because I have upgraded my mac's operating system (OS) several times since then.
You might want to check and see if you're using the latest version of Mac OS X (currently 10.8.4). If you're not up-to-date, go into the App Store on your Mac and see if there is an OS update waiting for you. That might help.

Exchange Global Address List search not showing name or email

I have an iPhone and iPad connected to a Microsoft Exchange server at work. When I search the GAL for a person in the company, the results are shown as the Company only (data coming from the 'Company' field on the Exchange server) instead of the contact's name.
Here are the steps I'm taking:
- I go to Contacts app, select 'Groups', then select 'Global Address List'
- I type in a name of a person I'd like to email. For example I type John to search for all the Johns in the company.
- I get a seach result that lists anyone with John in their name. The problem is the search results list the company name instead of the user's/contact's name. (If the 'Company' field is blank in Outlook/Exchange, I CAN see the user's name).
So my search results for John look like this:

COMPANY

COMPANY
John Deer
COMPANY

Field links in Address Book do not work

"A left click in the field of Address Book opens a contextual menu" does not work. All the fields in my Address Book are light gray, and however I click do, not yield any menu. I know they did a while ago, but did not record with what update this feature became disabled. Any explanation and solution? Thank you!

Validation sequencing not working

I have found that my item level validations on a page are not working as I expected. I validate a field (P74_change_id) to 'must be numeric', then I have another validation with a much higher sequence number that checks whether the value already exists in the database, but this is causing an error if the value if not numeric. The following text is taken from my debug mode, what surprises me is the second line that clearly states the first 'not numeric' validation is functioning correctly and returning a fail, but it still carries on with the other validations.

Apex will check all validations before the error page - hence the 'X errors have occured' message. This is a good thing, there's nothing worse for a user to get an error, fix it, re-submit the page only to get another error etc etc.
Looks like you need to check you NOT EXISTS validation so make all the other validation conditional never and then get that one working.
I think the problem is probably with one of the bind variable predicates where you reference the page items. Have you tried wrapping them in TO_NUMBER() where appropriate?
By the way you don't need brackets round your predicates in the WHERE clause of your not exists query.

Enabling Global Script Protection is not working while adding "&"

To prevent crosssite scripting attacks I ticked the the check box "Enable Global Script Protection" in CF admin. But it is not working , I mean not able to prevent the scripting attacks.
Steps I followed
1] I executed the below URL.
https://xyz.abc.com/index.cfm?cardholder_number=&<script>alert(1)</script>
2] In the fornt end I got a javascript alert message as injected in the URL.
But this alert message should not come as I have enabled script protection in CF admin. Right????
Now I removed "&" (https://xyz.abc.com/index.cfm?cardholder_number=<script>alert(1)</script>) from the above URL then I was not getting the javascript alert message. Does this mean that script protection will not work if we are adding "&" to the URL????.
I searched the neo-security.xml and its looks like below.

The special nature of '&' as delimiter is what prompts the browser to run the script. In fact, by default, browsers will run any Javascript that you place in the query-string. Run this, for example
http://www.myDomain.com/index.cfm?<script>alert(1)</script>
But what reason will I say if they are asking me why javascript alert is coming then.
As you have just seen, the <script> tag cannot come in. The alert occurs at the browser - that is, at the client - but Coldfusion runs at the server. Communication between client and server is by means of the URL variables that the client sends to the server. For the attack to be effective, it has to be sent in the form
sneakyVar=<script>alert(1)</script>
That is not the case here.
