  • Global Order Promising query -- Action Code

    This is regarding the GOP(11i ) , mrp_atp_pub_call parameter action code . As per the Oracle it has three values
    Action: Type of Inquiry
    100- ATP Inquiry
    110- Scheduling
    120 - Rescheduling
    My ask is :
    1. Do we per/Unpeg supplay demand or reservation when we pass differnet action code .If yes which action code perform what and how.
    2. Apart from override flag( honoring ATP) , is there any parameter which can effect the supply demand picture with action code .
    2. atp_call calls in turn call the Call_ATP_No_Commit , is this procedure is always called and do this procedure call depends on the action code .
    3. In R12, is the similar functionality present .
    Thanks in advance .

    Hi Jaydev,
    The "Send" option in the work item instance's dropdown is enabled a couple ways. As you pointed out, it is enabled if there is no logic or Screenflow associated with the Interactive activity. The second way that it is enabled is when you change the default property for the Interactive activity (right mouse click the Interactive activity -> "Properties" -> "Runtime") and uncheck the "Auto complete" property for the Interactive activity.
    There's a very significant downside to doing this. This means that after completing the required tasks in the activity, instead of automatically going to the next activity in the process - the work item instance will instead stay in the activity. It will stay in the activity until an end user clicks "Send". Just a heads-up - end users will find this extra key click annoying.
    Hope this helps,
    Dan

  • Order of Query Execution in Workbook

    I have a workbook with 3 queries.  I have some macro code that moves results around and does formatting.  The code is dependent on the order in which the queries are executed.  I had assumed that the queries are executed in the order they are listed as data providers.
    For most of my users, the workbook works fine.  But for some, the queries execute in a different order.  Is there some way to force the order of query execution?
    Thanks,
    Dave Paz

    TopLink uses a deferred transaction model implemented through its UnitOfWork. This means all changes (creation, modify/ removal) are tracked and during the transaction commit phase we perform these operations ordered based on your referential integrity rules (FK constraints).
    If you are using TopLink Essentials (JPA) you have the option to issue flush on your entity-manager after the persist call to force the insert to occur prior to your next read.
    In Oracle TopLink the only way to do this is to use a DatabaseSession which offers additional calls controlling the transaction directly as well as support insert/update/remove operations without the UnitOfWork. This approach supports these additional calls because it uses a single connection and does not have a multi-client shared cache. This is much closer to a pure data access style versus the rich multi-client persistence infrastructure most commonly used.

  • Old ISBN used for New Titles MM to CO - Int Order - Amoratization Query

    Dear Gurus
    Kindly need some assistance on the issue, now sure if its the right forum - Regarding transferring Production order to CO Order Int Order Amoratisation Query.
    The business have unfortunately reused over 40 material when they should have created new ones.
    From an MM viewpoint it is not advised reusing materials. New material numbers should have been created. However as stock has now been receipted and sold it is not possible to use a new material number.
    These materials originally had stock transferred from other materials onto batch and valuation 01. This was fully sold but now the Business have re used the materials with a new description and a new Production Order created.
    Because stock was previously transferred onto batch 01  via - old prod order it appears the business have created the Production orders for batch 02 which has been Goods receipted against. However the business have added the costs to an Internal order batch 01 not 02.
    So essentially our batch and valuation numbers for the production order and internal order are out of sync. Would this cause a problem.
    I believe the Business want to know if the goods receipt they have done against Production order 02 viewed via MMBE - Stock Balances will trigger the amortisation of the costs on First cost order 01 Internal Order.
    Because the production has already been sold and GR, we will need to look for a solution going forward, so the business does not encounter this problem again.
    Thanks

  • Sales order invoice query

    Hi
    Please send the sales order invoice query as basic columns.. Further I will modify the query according to the requirement.
    Pleas send to my personal ID: [email protected]
    Thanks
    Sree

    Thanks.  There's a few problems though.
    1)  It seems that OINV DocTotal != Balance Due.  I'm seeing a number of invoices where there was a balance due, but we applied additional money (either we took another incoming payment and applied it or applied money from the account balance, etc.) and yet it still shows a total.
    2)  It's pulling incoming payments from different customers.  I think this is because the table was joined based on "RCT2 T4 on T4.[DocEntry]  =  T3.[DocNum] and T4.[InvoiceId] = T2.[LineNum]"  In one example I have 2 incoming payments 446 and 614.  Both have the DocEntry 542, but one relates to A/R Invoice 542 (for a different client) while the other relates to Down Payment Invoice 542.  *I was able to fix this by adding WHERE T5.CardCode = [%0]*
    3)  I'm going to work with this a little bit and see if I can alter it to make it work for me.  Basically this query falls a little short on the following:
    -  Doesn't include incoming payments that aren't linked to a down payment invoice.
    -  Does not give the Invoice Total (I'd like to know how much of the SO was invoiced.  DocTotal seems to give me Amount Invoiced - Down Payments.  I'm not sure the best way to get this number.  Maybe I could do the sum of each line * tax + freight)
    -  Does not give the outstanding amount on an invoice.  The ARtotal [DocTotal] column gives me how much was owed when the invoice was created, but it doesn't tell me what is currently owed.
    -  Lastly it may complicate the query too much and could be left off, but it would be nice to see if they have any money from credits or incoming payments that has not been applied.  Perhaps this would be easily accomplished by simply pulling in their account balance.

  • Assure order of query execution in toplink

    Hi,
    can any one please suggest how to assure the order of query execution in toplink.
    at present what is happening is.
    suppose if i am having 5 queries, first one is Read and based on that out put of the read query, i need to create record in Database and read one more row from database again and save the record in the Database.
    1. Read From Database.
    2. Insert into Database.
    3.Read From Database.
    4.Insert into Database.
    order that i want is 1,2,3,4 but toplink excution order is 1,3 and 2,4. that means it is doing all reads first and insertions next.
    can any one please let me know, is there a way to set the order of the query execution.
    thanks in advance,

  • Create global order Flexfields

    Hey All,
    In the ASCP setups on esetup is we have to run "Create global order Flexfields" concurrent program.
    But I am not getting “Create global order Flexfields” in my SRS.
    Please help in this issue.....
    Razzy

    The global ## temp tables are only cleared once the SQL Server database engine restarts.
    Again, refrain from using them as SSIS does not support them via its GUI.
    Not exactly true. Global temp tables are dropped when all connection referencing them are closed. You can use them in SSIS, but you need the connection to stay alive.
    From MSDN:
    Global temporary tables are automatically dropped when the session that created the table ends and all other tasks have stopped referencing them. The association between a task and a table is maintained only for the life of a single Transact-SQL statement.
    This means that a global temporary table is dropped at the completion of the last Transact-SQL statement that was actively referencing the table when the creating session ended.

  • Ordering within query

    I have a simple two-sided one-to-many relationship:
    public class A {
    private String title;
    private Collection children = new ArrayList();
    public void addChild( B child ) { this.children.add( child ); }
    public class B {
    private A parent;
    private Boolean switch;
    I want to select all B's with switch == true:
    Extent extent = pm.getExtent( B.class,true );
    String filter = "switch == true";
    Query query = pm.newQuery( B.class,extent,filter );
    Collection coll = (Collection)q.execute();
    This all works great! Now I want the collection ordered by A.title, so
    I add the following to the query:
    query.setOrdering( "parent.title ascending" );
    This doesn't seem to work. How can the ordering be made to navigate a
    relation?
    Thanks,

    Here is the code (Country is the parent and Instrument is the child):
    Extent extent = pm.getExtent( Instrument.class,true );
    String filter = "currency == true";
    Query query = pm.newQuery( Instrument.class,extent,filter );
    query.setOrdering( "country.description ascending" );
    Collection instruments = (Collection)query.execute();
    System.out.println( "size: " + instruments.size() );
    for( Iterator i = instruments.iterator(); i.hasNext(); ) {
    Instrument instrument = (Instrument)i.next();
    Country country = instrument.getCountry();
    System.out.println( "symbol: " + instrument.getSymbol() + "
    currency: "
    + instrument.getCurrency() + " country: " + country.getDescription() );

    Collection coll = (Collection)q.execute();I assume you are actually calling 'query.execute' and not 'q.execute'?
    Otherwise maybe it's not ordering because you're adding the ordering to
    'query' and not 'q' (which would have to be another query in that code block
    somewhere...).
    query.setOrdering( "parent.title ascending" );This should work (barring the unlikely possibility that you're committing the
    error I mentioned above). Could you send us the SQL that is generated when
    you execute this query? (You can turn on SQL logging by setting the
    com.solarmetric.kodo.Log property to 'stdout' or to some file path).

  • Order of workbook variables is different to order in query

    Hi Friends,
    I have a curious situation. When I open one of my workbooks then I see the order of my variables is different o the order of these variables in the underlying query.
    Does or did anyone have the same issue seen so far ?.
    To be honest, it worked before I made the following change in my query:
    - First I had my fiscal year variable in the global filter but the variable was at first position in the query and it was also in the workbook.
    - Then I removed the variable from global filter and added it back into characteristics. I moved it into first position of the variable order again.
    However, since then my workbook shows this variable at the end of list !!!!
    I already rremoved and moved the query back into the worbook but no positive change so far.
    Any ideas would be much appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    We also faced the same kind of issue some time back in our project and we simply recreated the workbook and it got resolved.
    I think some time workbook doesn't acquire query changes automatically, you can regenerate the workbook and check.

  • Sales Order + Activity query

    Hi,
    I set up the following query in one company:
    SELECT T0.DocNum, T1.ClgCode, T3.U_NAME, T2.name, T1.endDate, T1.Priority, T0.CardCode, T0.CardName, T0.NumAtCard, T0.DocDate, T0.DocTotal
    FROM ORDR T0 LEFT OUTER JOIN OCLG T1 ON T0.DocNum = T1.DocNum LEFT OUTER JOIN OCLA T2 ON T1.status = T2.statusID LEFT OUTER JOIN OUSR T3 ON T1.AttendUser = T3.INTERNAL_K
    WHERE T0.DocStatus = 'O'
    When I replicate it in another company, I get the following error:
    SQL Server Native Client 10.0|| SQL Server||  Conversion failed when converting the nvarchar value 'STBs-EN-0002' to data type int. 'Received Alerts' (OAIB)
    The STBs value indicated is an Item Code/IMD record which isn't even referred to in the query so not sure why it's getting picked up and/or causing an error.
    When I separate the two parts of the query - one query on just open sales orders, another on activities - they both work. It seems to be with the linking of ORDR to the Activities tables (if I try just ORDR and OCLG I get the same error above).
    Any assistance on figuring out how to fix the query would be much appreciated,
    Heather

    Hi Heather,
    Try:
    SELECT T0.DocNum, T1.ClgCode, T3.U_NAME, T2.name, T1.endDate, T1.Priority,
    T0.CardCode, T0.CardName, T0.NumAtCard, T0.DocDate, T0.DocTotal
    FROM ORDR T0
    LEFT JOIN OCLG T1 ON T0.DocNum = T1.DocNum AND T1.DocType = '17'
    LEFT JOIN OCLA T2 ON T1.status = T2.statusID
    LEFT JOIN OUSR T3 ON T1.AttendUser = T3.INTERNAL_K
    WHERE T0.DocStatus = 'O'

  • Display sales orders in query regardless of vendor

    Hi BI gurus,
    I have got a query with the selection screen. The users specify a vendor in this selection screen. At the moment, if the orderline does not have purchase order against it, it does not display the order. For example, order no. 99999 which has got 3 lines. Line 20 does not have purchase order against it but the rest (line 10 and 30) got PO against them. When users specify the vendor and execute it, this order will not be displayed in the report. System thinks that there is no Purchase Order raised for line 20. Which is right. But is there any way that we can display this order in report?
    Order             Line               Purchase Order
    99999            10                  Yes
                         20                  Not created yet
                         30                  Yes
    Please do let me know.
    Thanks for your help.

    Hello SDBI,
    I tried the way you mentioned. But unfortunately, it did not work. The problem is the user key in the vendor in the selection screen. Now, some order lines may not have purchase order created for them. But user wants to see order lines with or without purchase order. Is there anyway I can resolve this issue?
    Please let me know.
    Thanks for your help.

  • Back Order Report/Query

    Hi Experts,
    I have a client who do not want the Open Sales Orders that is past it's due date to show up on the Sales Back Order report.
    I run into some difficulties with the querie:
    When I use the Open Quantity and Deloivered Quantity fields in the query it will also bring back the Open SO with no Deliveries linked.
    SELECT T1.[DocNum], T1.[CardCode], T1.[CardName], T1.[DocDate], T1.[DocDueDate], T0.[ItemCode], T0.[Dscription] FROM [dbo].[RDR1]  T0 INNER JOIN ORDR T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry WHERE T0.[LineStatus] = 'O' AND T0.[Quantity] <> '0'
    When I use the RDR1 and DLN1 base entry link, it will also show the lines that are already delivered in full.
    SELECT T1.[DocNum], T1.[CardCode], T1.[CardName], T1.[DocDate], T1.[DocDueDate], T0.[ItemCode] FROM RDR1 T0  INNER JOIN ORDR T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry INNER JOIN DLN1 T2 ON T2.BaseEntry = T0.DocEntry and T2.BaseLine = T0.Visorder
    How do I get a query that displays only the Sales Orders that have Backorders, without also showing the Sales Orders that have nothing delivered but is past due date?
    Your help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Marli
