Order of workbook variables is different to order in query

Hi Friends,
I have a curious situation. When I open one of my workbooks then I see the order of my variables is different o the order of these variables in the underlying query.
Does or did anyone have the same issue seen so far ?.
To be honest, it worked before I made the following change in my query:
- First I had my fiscal year variable in the global filter but the variable was at first position in the query and it was also in the workbook.
- Then I removed the variable from global filter and added it back into characteristics. I moved it into first position of the variable order again.
However, since then my workbook shows this variable at the end of list !!!!
I already rremoved and moved the query back into the worbook but no positive change so far.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,
We also faced the same kind of issue some time back in our project and we simply recreated the workbook and it got resolved.
I think some time workbook doesn't acquire query changes automatically, you can regenerate the workbook and check.

  • Issue services with different Internal Orders within a Plant from one PO?

Hiii... Please advice me of issuing services through one purchase order (one vendor comes and do the service to different machines of different internal orders in a plant) to different  internal orders within a plant.
    Thanks
    Manoj

what is the problem?  you can have Multiple Line Items in a PO  (one for each internal Order).
And within one Line item you can add multiple service lines.

  • Sales order items refers to different purchase order items

    Hello SAP Experts,
I have a requirement where sales order items are referring to different purchase order items. For eg. Item 1 from SO exist in PO no. 11 where as item 2 from SO exist in PO 12. Transaction MIRO allows to post items belonging to different purchase orders, but we have to do invoice verification using IDOCs. In EDI process, it is taking PO number from the SO header and not from the SO items.
Can anyone suggest how to get PO number from the SO item and not from the SO header.
    Thanks.

Not possible to create sales order with reference to PO.
but if to capture cost, you can consider adding cost to customer's invoice.
    e.g.
    SO -> PO -Inb/IR -> GR -> OB -> Inv(Add here)
to add in that invoice, its either manual or through automatic condition.

If you create a regular playlist in iTunes, you have to update it manually.  Remove old podcast episodes and add new ones, put them in any desired playlist order.
If you want to automate the process, you can probably get what you need using a Smart Playlist.  To create a new Smart Playlist, click the plus sign below the iTunes sidebar, and select New Smart Playlist.
Check the box for Match ALL of the following rules.  Then add the rules needed to get what you want on the list.
The first rule you need is to put podcasts on the playlist.
Media Kind - is - Podcast
To exclude podcasts that have been played
    Plays - is - 0 ("zero")
Those two rules should give you a playlist with unplayed podcast episodes.  To include only specific podcasts, not all podcasts, use the checkbox for Match only checked items (and you'll need to uncheck the podcasts you don't want on the iPod).
Also check the box for Live updating.
Click OK.  See if that Smart Playlist creates a playlist with the podcast episodes you want.  If you need to change the rules, right-click on the Smart Playlist and Edit Smart Playlist.  You can post back if you have some other ideas that you want "translated" into rules.
To put the podcast episodes in order by Date Added, select the Smart Playlist in iTunes so that you see the list of items.  If Date Added is not one of the columns shown on the list, right click in the list's header area and select Date Added.  To sort by Date Added, click on Date Added in the header.  Click on it again, if you need to reverse the order.
Sync that Smart Playlist to the shuffle.   It should play in the order shown in iTunes.
An iPod shuffle is meant to be a simple device.  It doesn't have a screen (where you can change a bunch of preference settings), so it is designed to operate in a certain way.  If you need the iPod to work more flexibily, you may want to get an iPod nano instead.

  • The dependent requests are in different transport orders

    Hi,
When i save a particular query, and then try to reopen it, i get an error saying "The dependent requests are in different transport orders".
Because of this error, my query becomes uneditable.
Could anyone help me out with this??
    Thanks.

The best way to transport the query is to go to RSA1->Transport connection and collect all dependent objects like formula variables..calculated key figures..etc in the same transport.

  • When I listen to music on Apple TV 2 my pictures from iPhoto come in, but always the same album (which I nevr asked for), always in random order and always in a different format. How can I control what is going on and choose the album myself.

When I listen to music on Apple TV 2 my pictures from iPhoto come in aafter about ten minutes, but always the same album (which I never asked for), always in random order and always in a different format. How can I choose a different album myself and control the order and format?

Thank you Winston for a helpful response and for reminding me of something which I found nearly a year ago and then lost (in my mind) because I did not use it. I am grateful for a correct answer but it still only achieves part of what I wanted.
I can now choose my photos, decide how long they stay on screen and choose one of a variety of presentations. Two things I still can't do.
One is to get it to play the photos in the chronological order in which I have carefully set them in an album; it still tends to be random and repetitive. The other is that I cannot get any of them them to saty on screen for more than about 20 seconds. I guess this is all due to the way Apple TV is constructed.
    But still thanks, nevertheless.

To add to what Stonerock has mentioned, you can either create Playlists in your iTunes Library, containing exactly what you want, and then Sync them to your iPod, or you can use the iPod Classic's On-The-Go feature.
Reading between the lines, I'm going to assume for now that you want to be able to create your preferred listening list while "out and about" - so not near your iTunes library. (You have posted in iPod Classic, after all.) You can do this with the On-The-Go Playlist.
Look in the Playlists menu on the iPod. It probably contains the Recently Added, Recently Played and other pre-made Playlists that you see in your iTunes Library. At the bottom of the Playlists list, is the On-The-Go showing 0 Songs. Scroll down to it and press the Select (centre) button. The screen will give you instruction on adding songs to the On-The-Go Playlist.
Basically, if you press-and-hold the Select (centre) button, while highlighting a song, the song title will blink as it is added to the On-The-Go Playlist. Try it, then go back to Playlists/On-The-Go and notice that it will now say 1 Song. (Note, you cannot add a "now playing" song to the On-The-Go Playlist.) Repeat this for every song you want to have in the list. You can also look in the Albums menu, highlight the album title and press-and-hold that to add the complete album to your On-The-Go Playlists with one press. So if you add the two albums to your On-The-Go Playlist, you can then listen to just those two albums.
To shuffle the songs, turn on Shuffle on your iPod. Either, go into Settings/Shuffle and press the Select button to toggle between Off/Songs/Albums, or on the Now Playing screen, press the Select button three times to reach the Shuffle option, where you use the scroll wheel to move between Off/Songs/Albums, press the Select button to activate it.
Having added songs to the On-The-Go Playlist, go into it and notice the list of songs and options to Save Playlist (New Playlist 1) or Clear Playlist. If you use Sync to manage your iPod (and that really is the best way by the way), the next Sync will transfer any unsaved On-The-Go and any New Playlist Xs that you have, back to your iTunes Library. You can even remove any song from the current On-The-Go Playlist by highlighting it (in the On-The-Go, obviously) and press-and-holding the Select button.
If you need assistance in creating a Playlist in your iTunes Library, please ask.

  • Variable Wastage % based on Order Qty

    Hi All,
I have a requirement to maintain a variable wastage % based on order qty for my raw-materials. For instance, in cases where the order qty < 500 the wastage should be 5%, if the order qty > 500 and < 1000 then the wastage should be 6% and so on. This should be maintained for the material so that it could be applicable across multiple BOMs. How could this be accommodated for.
    Your help is immensely appreciated.

    Imran

    Yash,
If you want to do it without lot of programming, then VLSP is the way to go. Here is how you can do it using VLSP.
Once the Delivery is created, it needs to be packed. You can setup the a pkg material (say a Pallet) with allowable weight in the material master to automatically create as many handling units as the qty in the Delivery. Then use VLSP to split based on the handling units.
Here is one more tip, if you want to do some programming. Use the Delivery user-exit to change the delivery qty always to 1. Run RVV50R10A multiple times (assuming you will not have qty more than 4 / 5 ).
If the qty will be more than 5, then consider triggering an WF from the Delivery user exit (after checking for remaining qty) to create Delivery for the same SO.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Anand

  • Order of the variables in the initial selection screen.

How can I change the order of the variables in the initial selection screen.
    Thanks in advance.

In the query designer goto query properties screen.. In the first screen you will see the order and you can move up and down the variables there as per your need ..

  • Descriptive flexfield for different purchase order types

    Hi,
Can i have a descriptive flexfield for different purchase order types?
Scenario : I have two purchase order types
    1. Blanket : done from req--> auto create --> standard PO
    2. Standard --> Direct PO

    846691

You can use darpan77's suggestion for context sensitive DFF. See http://oracle.anilpassi.com/context-sensitive-descriptive-flexfields.html for an example.
However, both options you mentioned talk about standard po. Is the difference in how they are generated? (One is manual and the other is autocreated?)

  • Different purchase order number on each line of billing plan

    Hi
I have a problem which I am having difficulty resolving and wondered if there was any way of doing the following. We have many customers who sign a deal with us for an online service. The deal may last for three years, but they are set up on one sales order with a billing plan with three entries on, as they want to be billed in three annual lumps.
The problem is, customers often want different purchase order numbers on each year's bill. As the PO number is held at item level, I can't see any way of doing this. Any ideas?
    Jon

    Hi Jon,
in standard your requirement can not be realised. A possible solution (if it is not too much manual effort):
create a new line item for each year.
    Best regards, Baerbel
