Global Types Not Released
Hello,
I am using a GUI built in LabVIEW to start TestStand application which is used to run TestStand sequences. I have been getting Property Object leak message when I shutdown the GUI. I noticed that all unreleased objects actually are the Type Definitions from StationGlobals.ini.
I came across some posts on the forum and I did verify all closed references for TS.IEngine and Sequences in the LabVIEW code. Invoke node for UnloadTypePaletteFiles and UnloadAllModules is also used in the code.
Any comments/suggestions on resolving the object leak message is appreciated.

Most likely a reference to the StationGlobals file or the TypeUsageList of the file is being leaked somewhere either in your UI code or your code modules. If you run your sequences in the sequence editor do you still see the leak? If so then the leak is likely in a code module rather than the UI.

Billing Document Not releasing to Accounting because of Condition Type
Hi,
We have used Sales Condition Type ZSCM(Which is a statistical condition type) in Billing Documents and they are already released to Accounting.Today we have created one more Billing Document with same Condition type ZSCM.But this billing document is not getting released to Accounting?
What could be the reason? Why it was released to Accounting before with the same condition type ZSCM and why it is not getting released to Accounting this time.
I am breaking my head to find the possible reasons...kindly help me out to find the problem.
1.Billing document 90005889 - has value 64.48462- and It has only 2 Items and it was released to accounting
2.Billing document 90005729 - has value 217.87960- and It has only 21 Items and it was not released to accounting and asking to activate +/- sing in KE4I transaction for the ZSCM condition type.
Why billing document 90005889 is released for accounting and why 90005729 was not released to accounting?

There can be following possible reasons fo the samed :
1. If the specific GL account is not getting any assignment to CO object.
2. Also you need to check assignment with VKOA that whichever GL is assigned as per business process of Sales (the account which is going to be credited) and all relevant settings in VKOA.
3. Pls check all substitutions and validations if any connected with that condition type and GL. Becuase sometimes it may happen that because of calling some other application (for ex. Set or substitution as generally transportation of this element happen with entire hierarchy if you add your substition in the node.) at he time of posting of billing document. This has already happen with our business scenario.
4. Also check if this sales revenue GL is assinged to any set and if that set is called through any substitution ot validation.
Pls check all these possibilities and revert.

Could not release my own Key Figure from DP to SNP
Hi SAP Experts,
As requirement, I have to run forecast for three Key Figures in Demand Planning (DP): Z_FK1, Z_KFK2, Z_FK3. Unit of measure of these Keyfigure are VND (currency Viet Nam Dong).
I added these Key Figures to DP Planning Area with name Z_DPPlan01.
I created a new Planning Area in SNP with name: Z_9ASNP02 by coppying from the standard 9ASNP02. Then I added the above Key Figures (Z_FK1, Z_KFK2, Z_FK3) into Z_9ASNP02 planning area.
After I runing forecast in DP, I tried to release value of three Key Figures into SNP with tcode: /n/sapapo/mc90. Although system informs that u201CRelease successfully executedu201D, nothing released from Z_DPPlan01 to Z_9ASNP02 when I check in SNP Planning book.
Question is:
How to configure Key Figures in SNP and DP (Sematic, Key Figure Function, Category, Category Groupu2026) so that we can release all three above Key Figures from DP to SNP?

2 . The business requirements are:
Our customer is a bank that has many branches. They want to forecast for each branches:
- The Total money (all denominations) will be issued in next quater (Z_KF1). This base on historical data (Z_HIS1)
- The total money (all denominations)will be received in next quater (Z_KF2). This base on historical data (Z_HIS2)
Base on these forecast KFs, we need to calculate the Average of Total money will be received and Issued in next quarter (Z_KF3 = (Z_KF1+ZKF2)/90.
90 is the number of days in a Quarter.
We need to release the three KFs from DP to SNP for further calculation and reporting. As said previously, I added three time series KFs Z_KF1, Z_KF2, Z_KF3 to SNP Planning Area (Z_9ASNP02)
If could not release, we can coppy. But the problem is that: in DP, beside standard characteristics 9AMATNR and 9ALOCNO, we also added more custom characteristics like Z_TYPE (to generate CVCs and to drill down money by type (cotton, polymer, coin)). So when I run the Tcode /n/sapapo/tscopy, despite of the fact that in u201CCharacteristic Assignmentu201D I only assigned 9AMATNR and 9ALOCNO from source to target, system show message like:

Message no. /SAPAPO/MSDP_REL108
Diagnosis
Characteristic combinations exist in the source planning area's master planning object structure that are not contained within the master planning object structure of the target planning area.
System Response
The source data of these characteristic combinations is not written to to the target planning area.

File Adapter creating huge connections and not releasing.
Hi,
We see high no. of current connections in file adapter from weblogic console against eis/HAFileAdapter under deployments -> fileadapter -> monitoring -> Outbound Connection Pools and are concerned about the same. It seems like fileadapter is not releasing the connection and hence no. of connections are piling up over a days and depending upon the transactions. coz after a restart the values comes down from 36000 to 10 ( which is default initial connection).
But when i see at the datasource level i don't see that much number of active connections. Need to know why this is happening and is this behavior is expected?
We are using SOA 11g PS2

You are using HAFileAdapter in your processes JNDI defenitions? --Yes
Check in your HAFileAdapter Connection Pool if Shrinking Enabled is set to true. --Its set to true
I would recomend also to change the properties Test Connections On Reserve to true, and Test Frequency Seconds(900 is the default). --These properties are also in place

But I do not know why anyone would create a new batch type for release strategies, it is totally unnecessary and provides no additional options. The class type indicates which objects can be classified and there is already one for release strategies.
You can create a new class or add characteristics to the existing class used in the release strategy anyway.
Ther is also NO WAY that two classes can be used in the release strategy and this new class type would not change this either???

OIM 11g using too much memory and not releasing it when shutting down
Hello,
we have a problem with OIM 11g using too much memory (about 5gb) and it's not releasing it at shutdown (4gb still used).
We are using a VM with RedHat Linux 5.6. Originally we had 4gb RAM + 2gb swap file. We installed Admin Server, OAM, OIM and SOA on that machine but quickly realised we couldn't run all 4 programs at once in 6gb. AdminServer could run with 2 other products, but it was a tight fit in memory.
So we increased the RAM to 8gb (still 2gb swap file). But then our problem occured : I start the Admin Server (2.7gb total memory used), then OAM (4.6gb total memory used) and then OIM. After it started the server is now using 9.6gb of memory (~300mb of free memory) ! The problem gets even better : after I shut down everything (OIM, OAM, admin server) the "top" command show that there is still 4gb of memory used even tho nothing else is running on the server ! There is absolutely no other process (other than root stuff) running and no other users connected to the machine. After a reboot, it shows 400mb of memory used. I tried restarting the programs and it did the same thing.
Our intuition is that there might be a memory leak or some bug in OIM that might use up almost all the free memory and it's not releasing it upon shutdown. It might have been there before we increased the memory but have not noticed it since memory was already tight.
Anyone encountered the same problem ? Any idea ? Any suggestion to narrow down the problem ?
Thank youYou can adjust the memory settings for WLS by editing the setSOADomainEnv.sh file that can be found in your /middleware/user_projects/domains/<domain>/bin/ folder. There is an argument called PORT_MEM_ARGS which is used to set your Java memory arguments. This way you can decrease/increase the amount of memory used by each managed server.
I usually type "ps -ef | grep oracle" to see what processes are running by the oracle user. This way the output doesn't get cluttered with root processes.

I'm facing the following BIG MEMORY problem :
Environment : I must generate an XML parsed with an XSL document of 80Mo (nearly 22 000 rows),
as XMLGEN is on DOM parsing method, I extract my XML by 500 Rows and I loop until 22 000 rows. I use DBMS_JOB with jobs who read and execute export each minute.
The algorithme is :

My derived problem is 22 000 rows is not enough I've some export of 200 000 rows to do (And I cannot allocate 10 Go of RAM !!!)

******************************Thank you for the info - I had no idea I was puing myself in danger by cutting it so close. Since your post I have moved my iphoto library to an external drive and now have 165 GB of space on my HD. Following this I have 2 questions.
1. Since my available HD space was reduced by the size of the photo download it seems logical that the download is somewhere on my HD still. Is there a place where these photos might be hiding on my HD even though they are not available on the iphoto library?
2. I was able to recover the .jpg files which are fine. I also recovered the .mov files but they have been compromised. I am hoping I can find the originals still on the HD somewhere. If not, do you have any suggestions for recovery methods or programs? I have not used the SD card since the incident so I should be able to attempt another recovery to salvage the .mov files if there is an alternative method/program available.

SD Invoices are not released to Accounting.Those documents are from previous period and also also those periods were already closed.

Here you need to enter Posting Period Variant name assigned to company code and other detail like account number.

Billing documents should not be created when it is not released to accounti
Hi SD gurus,
In some situation, billing documents are generated but it is not released to accounting which results in mismatch between FI value and SD value. We go to VFX3 and see the list of billing documents and take corrective action.
Our requirement is that the billing document should not be generated when system is not releasing this billing document to accounting.
Please suggest a solution for this.

For the following reasons, the billing documents are not released to accounting.
1. If the user wrongly chosen the billing type for the delivery.
2. After creating condition type, it has to be assigned in COPA. If we forgot to do it, billing doc will not released.
Our requirement is that if the billing document is not able create accounting document, the billing document itself should not be generated.
Hope this will be suffice to understand my issue and suggest a suitable solution.

Clob temporary table space is not released
In our java web application, it uses datasource to call oralce stored procedure and get back data in Clob data type. The oracle version is 8.1.7.4. After the database call, the database connection is closed. But I found that the tablespace for Clob data is not released. Right now it becomes a critical issue of our production database. Anybody has any clue? Really appreciate.

We have a table of size 550gigs in size and we truncated the table , truncated sucessfully but space is not released in os level, what action we can take to release the space and this table has only one row and contains the binary data.

Yes space wont be released immediately .If large extents are in picture which I assume is your case it goes into deferred drop a background process which will execute after some time( time may vary).See below link for details.
As per BOL if extents are more than 128 it goes in deferred drop.

BBP_ANALYZE_PO_APPLIC is not released
Hi,
We are implementing SRM5.0 with ECC6.
When we create PO manually in SRM then it does not goto R/3. Here PO status remains in Order condition but there is not document transfer from SRM to ECC as well as when we tried to push through FM, it gives following errors;
1.BBP_ANALYZE_PO_APPLIC is not released
2. PO XXXXXXX : No instance of object type purhcaser order has been created, External Referance.
We have already checked all settings for ECPO as well as backend document type.
We can create PO by normal cycle like SHC--->PO its goes properly in ECC
When we create Manual PO and click on Order as direct material then also SRM PO goes to ECC properly.
Only we are facing problems to transfer SRM PO which created manually to ECC. (Note - This process was also working fine before few days)
Any idea?

This means that you must always specify a CO account assignment.

Postings to a profit center are only statistical and does not fully
satisfy the 'Cost Accounting Assignment' required by the system.
This is probably why the system continues to prompt you for a (valid)
CO object. If you are using CO-PA, the profitability segment will
satisfy the cost accounting assignment. If you assign an internal order
of project, etc. it will also satisfy the cost accounting assignment.
However, if your revenue accounts are set up as cost elements, you will
receive this error message when trying to release the billing
document to accounting. You will need to establish a real CO object.
If you do not want to post this revenue to any CO object, and only
want to post to a profit center in EC-PCA, then you should not create
the GL account as a cost element. If you do not declare this as a
cost element, then it posts to FI and EC-PCA without the error KI235.
Also I would recommend that you check the account assignment to make
sure it has been set up properly in customizing. Please review
transactions 'OKB9' or 'OKC9'.
