Gmail access fails on safari. But it works when i login as administrator. Please help!
I am unable to use gmail from a regular user account on my iMac.It fails with an error string that ends with "... becasue Safari can't establish a secure connection to the server "accounts.google.com". "
I have tried resetting safari and it does not help.
I have tried adding DNS entries based on some discussion board suggestions and that does not help either.
I am able to access gmail as an administator on the same machine though!
Please point me in the right direction, please! Thanks!
You may have to take the computer to the Apple store to have the computer checked out.

There is a virtual keyboard available in OS X 10.8.4
System Preferences > Keyboard
Checkmark the box beside "Show Keyboard & Character Viewrs in menu bar.
Click "Input Sources" and then "Show input menu in menu bar".

Safari is constantly closing when i download anything! Please Help!!!!!!!
Whenever i download something, well anything Safari unexpectedly quits all the time no matter what I'm downloading. I thought Mac's were not supposed to do things like this and its very frustrating! If anybody knows what I'm doing wrong or how to fix this problem please reply immediately!!!!!
open safari then click on safari next to the blue apple. then select reset safari, and also empty the cache. then open a finder window select your user name with the house next to it and go into the library folder, move the caches folder to the trash can and restart the computer (the caches folder is just a temporary folder and it will rebuild). when the computer has finished restarting empty the trash. test safari
if issue is still occurring open a finder window again click on your user name and go into the library again, this time you will locate the preferences folder, in that folder you will see com.apple.safari.plist move that item to your desktop and restart the computer. test safari again, if resolved move com.apple.safari.plist to the trash.
if still not resolved test in a new user account, if issue occurs there you may need to delete and reinstall safari.
I'll subscribe to this post and if you need to delete and reinstall safari i will give you the full instructions, but hopefully those other steps will resolve it -
i can't reposition photos i post to my timeline on facebook using safari, but it works via all other browsers such as fire fox and chrome.. I used to be able to but now I can't. Any ideas as to what is causing this?

Command + Option + E on your keyboard.
Quit and relaunch Safari. Try to re position an image on FB. -
i am using firefox 3.6.17 i upgraded it to 4.1.but it does not work properly sometimes it opens every website and most of the time it does not work . so what is the problem please help . thank you
Did you check your security software (firewall)?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

My Macbook aliminium unibody from late 2008 will not boot. I reach the grey screen with the apple icon and the spinning grey gear. I used disk utility to boot it but it said integrity test failed. I don't know what to do can anyone please help?
Sounds like you may have a harddrive issue. You are probably going to need to get that changed out and then install the OS X again to get it going.

Have you checked the volume button? It might be physically stuck. To determine whether a hardware repair is needed, you need to follow these steps:
1. Try doing a hard reset:
Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/wake button simultaneously for about 15 seconds and release when the Apple logo appears.
After that: test the device to see whether the issue is solved.
2. If the issue is not solved, you should backup the device and restore it as new.

NB: set up as a NEW device because a software issue will be in the backup.
If the issue persists after restoring as new, you should offer the device for service.

my phone will no longer play music through headphones or on speaker but will work when making a call on both headphones and speaker. Also when I plug in my iPhone to a jack that uses a power amp like external speakers it works fine. I have no idea whats going on i've restored it twice and still nothing.

Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > MIDI Drivers
Then delete DigiDioMidiDriver.plugin
