Go back to unlimited data within 14 day period

Hello.
Last night I purchased an iPhone 6 at an apple store. Unfortunately during the process there was some miscommunication between the sales rep & my self regarding the plan I would be changing to. I understood I would lose my unlimited data, however she did not explain that I would move to a plan that "shared" data between all the lines on my account. She said the one we were selecting specifically would be for my line only, and even offered another plan option that would be shared data. Thinking that the 5gb plan I selected would be ok for myself only I went ahead with the upgrade.
Then upon viewing my account online it is showing that the data is actually shared, it shows my line has 3.5gb per month (I'm guessing this comes from 1/2 of the 5 I added, plus the 2 that was already on another line on my account)
My question is if I return the phone to the apple store today, would this fall under the 14 day worry free guarantee and allow me to get my unlimited data plan back, and then repurchase the phone at full retail?

chellyx, you have a great question. First things first, congratulations on being one of the lucky few to get the iphone 6. Next and to answer the big question, yes you can return the phone and go back on the plan that you originally had. You would be under the 14 day WFG. And if you purchase at full reatail then nothing changes on your old plan. You simply did a device change. Which doesnt effect anything at all. Hope that helps. No matter what enjoy the iPhone 6.

  • €100 charged to my account due to withdrawing from contract within 30 day period specified in email

Hi, €100 charged to my account due to withdrawing from contract within 30 day period specified in email regarding change of contract due to pricing change. I was advised by eircom on 12th Feb that no notice was needed as I had 30 days to withdraw from contract from the 11th Feb email received date. Notice was given via the phone number provided in the email that I would be moving providers thus withdrawing from contract. Final bill has a €100 ECC charged. Called eircom on Fri 6th March was advised €100 would be deducted from bill as should not have been charged. Was also promised a call back from agent for Mon 9th March to advise this credit had been applied. No callback received. Called again to dispute this cancellation charge on 10th March was advised this would be escalated to team leader. Asked to speak to higher level persons advised non available. Also advised by agent that to withdraw from contract we should have ceased our line and broadband. Nowhere within the email we received are we requested to cease our products totally to withdraw from contract and then ask new provider to reactivate all our products again. This would seem a ridiculous thing to require to be done. This is typical Eircom tactics when any normal person can see that according to Eircom email we were entitled to withdraw from contract by switching providers. Copy of email belowAccount number:  XXXX1878  Contract ChangeDear XXX,We are writing to inform you of some amendments to your eircom service, which will come into effect on 15th April 2015. Exact same happened to me however, Eircom have since cut me off.  Nobody will phone me back and I have a credit block on my visa card which has never before happened to me.  To say that Eircom's service is poor is an understatement.  I have all of the emails that I sent to them but not one person will take responsibility and telephone me to resolve this issue.  Copy of email below: Contract Change

  • Dates within a key period.

    hi all,
I have a abap program to develop, where in i have a period  key which i am getting from a table, for a particular BP, CA, CO.
Now i want the all the dates falling in that period key, or may be even the first  date of that period key.
For example the period key is weekly, ie 00AA for first week of year 2000, i want all the dates in this week.
I tried many function modules, but none seems to fit my requirement.
Now i have got the year and week no from the description of the period key, so is there any Fm which could give me the first day of the week based on these two inputs...??
    All answers will be appreciated....!!!

    Hi Rahul,
I really about the existance of a generic module to handle what you are looking for the PERSL, since PERSL is more like a customer implementation. We have two variations of it - like 2000 representing year 2000 and 0100 representing the first month of year 2000.
But, you should be able to implement, what you need with the help of the Function module: GET_WEEK_INFO_BASED_ON_DATE.
You begin like this. Take the first date of that year for the PERSL 4000, in this case 01/01/2000, and then add to get the new date as:
    01/01/2000 + ( 40 periods X 7 days for week ) =  10/07/2000.
Then use the above FM which gives the result as:
      Import parameters               Value
      DATE                            10/07/2000
    Export parameters               Value
      WEEK                            200040
      MONDAY                          10/02/2000
      SUNDAY                          10/08/2000
In the above week 200040 matches with the period key 4000(40th week of 2000). If this does not match, move the  MONDAY and SINDAY either forward or backward by 7 days to match the period that you are interested in.
I think you can put this in a wrapper FM so that all your programs can use it.
    Thanks.
For example the period key is weekly, ie 00AA for first week of year 2000, i want all the dates in this week.

  • UNLIMITED DATA PLANS! PLEASE BRING IT BACK VERIZON TO EVERYONE!

I think Verizon should bring back the Unlimited Data Plans because, many students uses so much Data for Videos for their homework and Videos takes up so much Data and there is no way an average family can afford to pay over $100 for a 20GB more Data plan and I think it would nice of Verizon if they would bring back the Unlimited Data Plan around $59/month at least because there are some people that need it for their homes. If you would also offer Unlimited Data Plan to the Mifi service, this would be a big competition with DSL and Cable providers for home internet. When families uses so much Data for Netflix or Rhapsody and Crackle, it takes so much Data and it is important for families to have Unlimited Data Usage for this entertainment. Verizon, I am going to say this, people like me does not like to be limited on how much we use the Internet. I am thankful even on my phone I have the Grandfather Unlimited Data Plan but if you ever take it away from me, I will leave Verizon and switch to Straight Talk. I have many friends I can tell and stir up some stuff with Verizon if this ever happens to me because, my Unlimited Data Plan means so much to me, the only reason I am bringing this up, to help other people who needs it too. I think Verizon has the best Coverage of all than any other provider but all I am asking is, do not take my Unlimited Data Plan from me and please bring it back for other people who needs it. Thanks so much time your time and support. Verizon Wireless Customers, please leave comments, I would love to hear your comments and thanks and have a Great Day!

Why are fixed income families on the most expensive carrier? Let alone owning smartphones.
I don't agree with tiered data either way. I wish they would do like a flat cap of 10gb for x amount of dollars and if you go over that, then you pay more. Put a data cap that no one can realistically hit without absuing, i mean REALLY abusing the service.
There is a disadvantage to unlimited data though, the person who is streaming and downloading all day can ruin it for a whole bunch of people in that area. But hey, they don't care, as long as they get theirs right? On one end, we have the happy user paying 30 bucks a month and doing like 200gb per month, while everyone else in the area has to suffer with sub par speeds because of this one individual.
Normal counter arguments is that the premiums are high, ceo gave him self a raise, vz is in the big profits, unlimited means unlimited no matter what, and a couple others I forget. They're valid points, and i do agree that the ceo could take some of his yearly earnings and put some of it back in the network. At the same time though, aren't projects like building cell towers done on a contract basis normally? So even if he is making ridiculous bank, it would be a moot point if he had already paid for the work to be done to the network.
Government isn't gonna do squat because it's each and every company's right to structure their plans how they wish and charge however much they wish.
Again, complaining doesn't do anything. Disconnect.

  • Permanent end to Unlimited data.

I've finally figured out how Verizon is going to end unlimited data. Forever.
(I had this epiphany when posting this as a reply to a post on VW's timeline. So if you see it there and here, you're not going crazy.)
Okay, about 15 months ago, Verizon announcing they were ending unlimited data plans for new customers. But not to worry, all current customers with unlimited data would be able to keep it as they would be "grandfathered" in. The reality is Verizon could not just up and take away their Unlimited data without voiding their contract and allowing the customers to walk away without having to pay expensive early termination fees. So under the false premise of graciously letting them keep their plans, it continued for a year, with everything going smoothly.
Then VW announced the end of Unlimited data plans. Again. How so? All users who were on unlimited plans would not be allowed to upgrade (IE sign a new 2 year agreement with VW) and get a discounted price on a new phone and keep their unlimited data. BUT, they say, you can keep your unlimited data as long as you want (*wink wink*) if you just pay full price for a new phone. You just can't "upgrade" and get a discount.
What they don't tell you is it's not about the phone's discount. It's about the contract. They don't want you locking in 2 more years of unlimited data. SO the cutoff this year to upgrade and keep unlimited data was June (or was it July?) 28th. If you upgraded after that, you HAD to move to a tiered plan or the new Share Everything plan.
And that leaves us where we are today. Many people with unlimited plans will look at their usage and say "Eh, I only use a gig or so a month anyway, might as well go to the tiered plan and get a new phone". That leaves everyone else. Everyone who wants to keep unlimited are now, slowly but surely, going to be edging toward the end of their contract date. After that, they can keep unlimited, BUT they'll be paying month-to-month, with no contract. (Do you see where I'm going with this?)
What do you think will happen next? I can guarantee that within the next year, VW is going to announce the end of unlimited data for everyone. Period. They'll give a date, and all people paying month-to-month will either have to switch to a tiered plan, or find service elsewhere. Everyone who upgraded this summer before the cutoff on June (July?) 28th will finish out the duration of their contract, and then have to move to a tiered plan, or their service will be terminated. It makes sense. With all the old unlimited users out of contract, VW will be free to change the terms of service at any time. You either agree to it, or go elsewhere, and there's nothing you can do.
    Opinions?

I think one of the issues they are going to see (and we are already seeing some of it on these forums) is how Verizon calculated data.  There are many posts in these forums about Verizon mimsrepresenting the data usage. My phone for example I have 2 different monitors on my phone plus the My Verizon Wireless app that monitors Data Usage. These 3 monitors will be within 100kb of usage at any given time of th emonth, yet the Verizon website shows almost 4 times the usage that these 3 monitors show, and the number posted in their website is what they use to calculate your usage and then the Overcharges.
Every month for the last 4 months I have called them about this and get 2 responses. the first is puzzling and is why does it matter, you have unlimited Data so it shouldn't matter what we reflect your usage as. and the other is, you are absolutely correct, there is a glitch in our measuring tool and it is not 100% accurate yet.
So for me, until I see that they are accurately reflecting the usage on their site etc... I will be sticking with my Unlimited plan as I do NOT plan on upgrading my phone anytime soon.
Now if they completely just say, Unlimited data is gone, then I will be forced to look at the Tiered plan, and keep accurate track of my usage with these monitors and escalate any differences to the correct people wither within Verizon or the PUC and or FTC.

  • Capacity leveling. Aim is to have oders scheduled within 1 day if possible

    Hi All,
    I have a list of 10 prod. orders with same basic/scheduled start/finished date= today
In capacity leveling, if i select a whole list of these orders and dispatch them, i get all orders with start day= today, finish date= today+ x days.
I would like to have orders scheduled with start/finish date within 1 day.
I have available capacity of 4 hours per day. Each order takes around 1,5 hours, thus i can have 2 orders scheduled for today, and so on. This is exactly what i need.
My kind question to you is how to setup SAP in a such way.
NB: If i do leveling for each order one by one, then i get what i want: e.g. order is scheduled within 1 day.
    Best Regards,
    Andrey

    Dear Andrey
Your requirement is, Automatic capacity levelling based on the available capacity.
In SAP R/3 PP module, only manual capacity levelling is available. Automatic is possible in APO.
If the requirement dates are same for multiple orders, system will through all the orders in the same date and it will display overloaded. So manually we need to dispatch the overload to the required date.
Please check the below thread also.

    Hope it helps

  • How long does it really take to get my unlimited data plan back?

So Wednesday morning I go into a local Verizon owned-and-operated store to buy a Galaxy S5 on installment plan, like I did for my GS4 a year ago. Get talked into an Edge phone plan and the More plan, and they get that unlimited data plan off my line as fast as possible and then find that I can't get Edge for another 3 weeks. So we revert the changes (in theory), less than half an hour after the original change.
So I'm just standing there reading twitter and waiting for them to fix the situation and get me back to where I was when I walked in. I was actually willing to go ahead and buy a GS5 on installment plan (as I'd wanted to when I came in), but they *really* did not want me to do that. They got the voice plan back, and put me on a 2GB plan (which is 1/3 of my average usage), telling me I'd be back on my unlimited plan with hotspot service "by the end of the business week."
Today as I'm checking at the end of the business week, no sign of my data plan or hotspot service. The folks on the social media team tell me that my service might be crippled for another 10 days while an offline team tries to fix what the folks in the store broke.
Am I really out of luck for two weeks? I got a GS5 on T-Mobile with 5GB of data, which will get me by... TMO didn't seem offended that I wanted a GS5. But if I have to "be careful" with my data (as the store manager put it) on Verizon for two weeks, I may as well forward the phone and power it off.
At least I know never to set foot in this particular Verizon store again... last year they wouldn't sell me a GS4 "in case someone came in and wanted to upgrade" so I went to another nearby location. If my plans get unbroken, I'll either go to that other location or check eBay for my GS5.

Think of this and be amazed. If Verizon is trying its best to get customers off unlimited data by any means possible, and quite frankly tell you once you purchase any device on subsidy or the Edge program you lose unlimited. Now the Worry Free Guarantee states within 14 days if you change your mind you can pay a $35 restocking fee, and go back to your old plan.
However they no longer offer unlimited data so they give you this line of it has to be set back manually (inactive price request) and then it gets denied. Then they say it has to be submitted again for approval and then it gets denied. So why have a worry free guarantee?
And think to yourself, a plan they can remove in minutes takes them weeks to give back? They don't give it back. Search the forum.
    Good Luck

  • How do I get my unlimited data plan back

Upgraded my phone at a verizon booth in a SAM's club and was told that nothing would change on my plan. They activated the phone and got everything all set up so I didn't skip a beat. A couple days later I receive a text from VZW that I was close to going over my data minutes so knew something was wrong. Called VZW and sure enough was told that unlimited data was not longer provided and since I upgraded my phone I lost the plan. I explained I had not been given that piece of information and if had I would not have changed phones as the unlimited data is more important to me. The VZW I talked with was verify helpful and said I should have been told, that since I was not told he would send a request to corporate to get the unlimited data back for me. He even bumped me up from 2G to 5G with no cost to me so that during the 48 hours that this could take I wouldn't incur any costs. I was so very pleased and assumed all was ok. Then yesterday I receive another text from VZW again telling me my data was close to going over my plan. Surprised I called VZW today and again talked with a rep who was very pleasant but informed me that the request sent to corporate was rejected and guess what, I wasn't informed and now it is past the 14 days so I can't return the phone and re-establish my plan back to how it was prior to the new phone. I was told I had been sent a email telling me this was rejected but I have no record of an email. I don't understand why I get texts when I' close to going over data but they wont send a text to tell me a request has been rejected and this is sent to some bogus email account that I'm not aware of or even a notification sent where I can go into my vzw account and call up the notification of reject... nothing... then I'm told the only way I can get in touch with corporate is to via mail.... really.... a company that's business is smart phones, who communicates with me via texts, emails, and I can't get in touch with them other then mail. So because I upraded my phone, I am now under a 2 year contract again, so can't just cancel my account without penalty and I have no unlimited data. How is that customer service.

Yes I was told I could return my phone within 14 days; however, when the vzw customer service rep I toalked with told me they agreed I should have been told this important piece of information and submitted an "Inactive Price Request" to Corporate on my behalf, I assumed after the 48 hour waiting period that my data had been restored since I was NOT NOTIFIED by vzw that they had rejected the request. By the time I was texted again from vzw that I was close to exceeding my data plan it was past the 14 days and vzw will not honor returning the phone at this point. What I find interesting is the vzw is great about sending text and emails when a person is close to exceeding or exceeding their plan however they were not able to send me a text or email telling my they had rejected my request to reinstate my unlimited data plan. A bit sneeky and unprofessional in my opinion.

  • I purchased an iPhone 3 and had photos on it. Started having issues within 30 days and could replace it. Moved photos to back up on iCloud. did not restore new phone from back up how can i save the new photos and retrieve the old ones?

I purchased an iPhone 3 and had taken some photos on it. I started having issues within 30 days and could replace it. So I created an iCloud account and  saved those photos as a back up on iCloud. I did not restore my new phone from back up because I did not realize I needed to restore and not just activitate it. How can I save the new photos, apps, and other stuff but retrieve the old photos?

If all you want is your old photos, you could backup your new phone using iTunes, then restore it from your iCloud backup, import the old photos to your computer, then restore it from the backup your made in iTunes returning your newer data to your phone.  If you want your old photos on your phone, sync them there from your computer using iTunes.  The process would look like this:
Connect your phone to your computer, when it appears in iTunes on the left sidebar right-click on it and select Transfer Purchases; right-click again and select Backup.
Disconnect from your computer and go to Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content and Settings to return it to new
Go through the activation setup, choosing to Restore from iCloud backup.  Make sure your phone is plugged into a charger and has access to wi-fi as this can take hours to complete.
When complete, without connecting your phone to your computer, open iTunes and go to Preferences.  On the Devices tab check "Prevent...from syncing automatically"
Now import the old photos to your computer (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083)
When done, open iTunes, right-click on the name of your phone on the left sidebar and select Restore from Backup, choose the backup you made in step 1.
Go to the Photos tab and select the photos you want to sync to your phone and sync.

  • Need to buy Apple Care within 60 days of purchase date?

Since when you need to buy Apple Care within 60 days of purchase date? I thought you can do it before the end of one-year limited warranty, no?

    shotarobkk wrote:
Wrong. I don't think so that it was like that since forever like you said. It used to be that you can buy the Apple Care before the end of one-year limited warranty. It's changed as well for iPad, but stay the same for iMac and the monitors.
No, sorry, but AppleCare+ has always been a limited purchase option.  You may be confusing extending AppleCare, which only covered technical support for an additional year, but since AppleCare+ covers replacements now, when it was first introduced, it started with a 60 day buy it or not be able to buy it option.

  • Switching from the plan I just upgraded to back to my grandfathered unlimited data plan

I was forced into a new plan when I upgraded in January when before I had unlimited talk/text/data. I was unaware I was able to keep my grandfathered unlimited data plan because the sales representative just said my plan was not offered anymore (and with me as a customer unaware that we are able to keep our original plan when signing up it frustrates me that a representative would do such to their customers) and I'm wondering if I could get that plan back as I am somehow going over 4GB when I do nothing different than I did before (with unlimited data I still only used about 3-3 1/5 GB every month) I'm very unhappy with the change and am contemplating leaving Verizon if I am not able to change back as my bill is  $80 more than previously.

You can only keep you unlimited plan if you paid full price for the phone you upgraded to. So even if Verizon would let you switch back to you old unlimited data plan you'd still have to pay full price for the phone. You got $400 lying around to do that?

  • I didn't apply for the up-to-date programme within 30 days can I still get Pages, Numbers and Keynote for free?

I was told I would be able to download Pages, Numbers and Keynote for free with my new Macbook Pro however I got it as a Christmas present and as it was bought on the 8th of November I missed applying for the up-to date-programme within 30 days. I was wondering if there was any chance of talking to apple and downloading the apps anyway, and who exactly i would need to contact.
    Thanks in advice for help

Solved the problem- I contacted apple on their support line found on this page... http://www.apple.com/uk/support/mac/ and they were really helpful and talked me through what to do on the phone, I now have all three productivity apps. Hope this helps
