Goods Receipt Importance in GTS?

Hi,
Just wanted to know what is the use of GR in GTS. As we create declarations with PO and Inbound deliveriers can anybody tell me what role does GR have in gts. Why do we have to push GR to GTS from ecc?
What is the importance of a GR in gts?
Thanks!!

Hello,
good receipts/issues are important within Special customs procedures when using customs warehouse. To declare duty paid / unpaid stock goods receipts or issues are important.

  • Goods receipt importing purchase order

    Hi,
I have an addon that has to fill some udf's when a Itemcode is entered in the detail section. This works relativaly ok. But what is the best way to force the filling the udf's when the lines are filled in through the selection of a purchase order.
For the moment I have a routine that fill's all the udf is the screen gets activated and the button purchase order was clicked. This works if the user doesn't click on the good receipt while the wizard for importing purchase order is open.

    Hi,
You should use the et_CHOOSE_FROM_LIST event to find out which items have been added / changed in document lines.

  • Import Declaration after goods receipt - Inward Processing Help

Looking for some advice on setting up Inward Processing as I am running into issues.  Our system makeup is this:
    ECC - 617
    GTS - 10.1
One of our facilities is setup so that they have duty deferment for imported components that are used in manufacturing and re-exported within a 36 month period. Based on this requirement we have determined that we could be leveraging the Inward Processing functionality in GTS to manage / track the inventory for duty purposes.  With that being said, this is what I have configured so far.
    Configuration:
Purchase document in ECC is setup to transfer to GTS and create an import customs document, the check box for Customs Services is checked.  The corresponding purchasing document in GTS is activated for compliance and customs services.
Inbound delivery in ECC is setup to transfer to GTS.  I am worried I have done something wrong in this configuration with how it maps in GTS. The document is currently creating a customs document that can be viewed in the import side of compliance.  The document type I mapped in GTS “Inbound Customs Delivery”
Movement type 101B has been configured to come over from ECC to GTS.
I configured in ECC the prelim. Document type T1 and also maintained that doc type in GTS which I mapped as prev. doc cat 01.  I then assigned Service LECTPR with prelim doc type category 01 as duty unpaid and target procedure 01 – Transit.
I configured the authorization for both transit and inward processing, created the “license” for these items, and configured the activity sequence for the matching legal regulation.
    My process has been this:
    Create purchase order in ECC
    Create inbound delivery in ECC
Update inbound delivery with the prelim doc type T1 and doc number / date
MIGO with reference to the inbound delivery (movement type 101 against purchase order stored in MSEG)
In GTS I go to create a customs declaration AFTER goods receipt, but I get a “no data found” information message.  When I debug I can see the that a check is done to pull records from table /sapsll/cuswlo, I have no entries in this table.
I can see all the documents definitely made it over to GTS because they show up in the General List of Display Customs Declaration Quantities and Goods Receipt quantities (/SAPSLL/CUSWLM).  So at this point I have to be missing some key piece of configuration to allow the Import Declaration to create so the goods become available for inward processing. Any ideas on what I should be looking at that could be missing?
    Rachael

Ok, then that's (at least) what you need to fix.
In the Plug-In area, make sure that you've added your Inbound Delivery type to transfer for Customs purposes ("Query Customs Management for Document Type"), and that the technical activation has been turned on for Application MM0B.  For the moment - although it shouldn't make any difference - don't tick to transfer the Inbound Delivery for Compliance Management, or for Placement into Customs Status before GR.
In GTS, make sure that Document Type 'TRLOIM' is active for Transit, and that the Document Type has an active Number Range.  Then check that the Legal Regulation for Transit (TRSxx) is active for your country code and that the Process Template is assigned in the Control Settings.
Then see if the IBD is transferred ok.

  • "Quantity falls into negative inventory" Error when importing Goods Receipt through DTW

    Hi,
We extending the automation between our production plant an SAP Business one.
We're using DTW import "Goods Receipt PO" currently and want to extend this to internal productions based on Production Orders.
I've created three csv files to create the import. OIGN, IGN1 an SNRT (as we use serial number based products)
    Some remarks:
    - The stock is sufficient to do the production. No negative stock is created by this the production order.
    - The used materials are all based on "backflush", so should be handled automatically
    - Using the SAP GUI everything goes well. No errors.
hereby the files I've used (the actual serial number file is of course longer):
    OIGN:
    DocNum;DocType;HandWritten;DocDate;PartialSupply
    DocNum;DocType;Handwrtten;DocDate;PartSupply
    1;dDocument_Items;tNO;20140402;Y
    IGN1:
    ParentKey;LineNum;BaseType;BaseEntry;BaseLine;Quantity
    DocNum;LineNum;BaseType;BaseEntry;BaseLine;Quantity
    1;0;202;92;;49
    SRNT:
    ParentKey;LineNum;InternalSerialNumber;ManufactureDate;ReceptionDate;Notes;BaseLineNumber
    DocNum;LineNum;DistNumber;MnfDate;InDate;Notes;DocLineNum
    1;0;0409001;20140331;20140402;Firmware=SD-TRPE v1.12 y13m10d16;0
    1;1;0409002;20140331;20140402;Firmware=SD-TRPE v1.12 y13m10d16;0
    1;2;0409004;20140331;20140402;Firmware=SD-TRPE v1.12 y13m10d16;0
    1;3;0409005;20140331;20140402;Firmware=SD-TRPE v1.12 y13m10d16;0
What am I doing wrong? Do we need the handle the goods issue manually when using DTW instead of the auto backflush method in SAP?
    Looking forward to your response.
    Kind regards,
    Vincent

  • Import Cycle for India doing first Goods Receipt

    Hi Friends,
We are going on upgrade from 4.0B to ECC 5.0.
We are using TAXINN .  This is regd. the  Import pricing for India.
Our client  is using 4.0B & thier sequence is :
    0. Give advance to CHA agent for Customs clearing based on his estimation
    1. GR by 103 mov. type
    2. J1IA which is capture excise invoice (J1IEX)
    3. GR 105 mov. type
    4. Cature excise invoice through J1IB(J1IEX)
    5. Finally they do LIV / IR (commercial Invoice or Bill of entry)
    6. after making IR they knock off the advance amount.
When I tried in the ECC 5.0 SAP std. process of LIV(commercial Invoice or Bill of entry), J1IEX_C, GR(101), J1IEX_P entries are perfect in Accounting.
When I tried in the ECC 5.0 the same process of 4.0B. Did GR thru 103, then try J1IEX..  qty is showing , where as values showing as blank. I try to enter values manually but system didnu2019t take. I posted. Then went to GR for 105. No excise values appear even though I take ref. of excise invoice.
Where when we do in 4.0B capture excise invoice after GR103, values are flowing.
I use all std. SAP conditions in ECC 5.0. They were using all Zconditions in 4.0B. I also changed all conditions to Z . (I thought there might be some link which may create problem). But there is no change.
Client want use same sequence of operations as 4.0B. Have any one doing this sequence or tried of 4.0B. How to go about it ?
    Regards
    Sai Krishna

    Hii,
    Normally the Import Procedure is:
    1) Create the Po
    2) MIRO for Customs Vendor
    3) Capture the Excise Invoice J1IEX agaisnt the PO
    4) Goods Receipt ( In MIGO You have to select the Invoice Number i.e Bill of Entry )
    5) Post the Excise Invoice
    6) MIRO on the Imported Vendor.
I think there is a problem in Two step procedure 103&105.
Suggest the Change Management to the Client.

    Kumar

  • Cenvat Availment Duties Not captured Correctly during Import Goods Receipt

For Import Procurement we follow the following cycle
    PO->Customs MIRO->Goods Receipt>J1IEX->Vendor MIRO
While Posting the Goods Receipt we give the Customs MIRO number and system Should calculate the duties like CVD,Cess on CVD and Add duty on Imports only based on this Customs MIRO number.
But in our case its calculating the value based on amount given in PO and not based on the Customs MIRO number.
Uptill December the values where posted correctly. But Only from January we are facing this problem?
    Thanks & Regards
    Sentil

    Hi Senthil
The Custom duty, CVD, Ecess on CVD, Ecess on Customs and ADC are polulated on goods receipt through the MIRO document once MIRO document is posted and referred. If MIRO is not done, then system has to copy from PO.
You said that its calculating the value based on amount given in PO and not based on the Customs MIRO number. But lwt me know whether they are populating to excise fields in MIGO. Also check whether all these are getting loaded on material? (Whether both FI documents are accurate or not?)
Basically, these condition types shall be marked as accruals.

  • Goods receipt for import material

    Dear all,
The excise tab does not appear during goods receipt of imported material. But when are doing the goods receipt for domestic material the tab does appear.
Even after posting goods receipt and while trying to capture excise details in J1IEX i.e. incase of imports CVD, CVD-Ecess, CVD-HEcess and additional duty, the system asks for the invoice number and then throws a message that PO does not contain any selectable items. We have defined as separate pricing procedure for imports.Have maintained the material and vendor details in J1ID.
Request to kindly suggest any settings that we need to check so that the excise tab appears for imported material also.
    regards,
    mahesh.

    Hi,
    Import Process: -
    1. ME21N - Create Import PO
    2. MIRO - Customs Invoice
    3. J1IEX - Capture Bill of Entry
    4. MIGO - Goods Receipt
    5. J1IEX - Post Bill of Entry
    6. MIRO - LIV for Vendor Invoice
    7. MIRO - LIV for Clearing Agent
Following condition types to be used in MM Pricing.
    JCDB     IN:Basic Custom Duty
    JCV1     IN : CVD
JECV     IN : Ed Cess on CVD
    J1CV     IN : H&SECess on CVD
JEDB     IN : Ed Cess on BCD
JSDB     IN : H&SECess on BCD
    JADC     Addnl Duty of Custom
Mandatorily, use a Zero % Tax Code in Import PO.
Import Duties will not come from J1ID, in J1ID only you have to mainatin material and Vendor (Customs Office and Import both) excise details.
Above all, check the Excise Defaults for CVD conditions in SPRO > LO > Tax on Goods Movement > India > Basic Settings > Mainatin Excise Deafults

  • Goods Receipt Rate (GRN) Rate in case of Import

    Hi,
I would like to know which rate should system pick at the time of making goods receipt note (GRN) in case of import material.
E.g. If an Indian Company is importing material from USA in august when $ rate to INR is 50, and
if material received in septmber when $ rate is 45. then
at the time of GRN what exchange rate should system pick.
    thanks in anticipation

    HI
Its depends on the Purchase order , in delivery/Invoice tab you can find the check box with Exchange rate Fixed , if it is selected then during GRN it will pick what ever you maintained in the PO, and if it is not selected then it will pick from the customization tables which will be maintained by Finance department.

  • Standard procedure to deal import Goods receipts and LIV

    Dear Experts,
After implementing the SAP notes to incorporate 1% Higher Education cess with Imported goods (both the cases where vendor in though local but material is imported & the case where material and vendor both are outside the country) we have have not been able to post any goods receipts & invoice correctly.
If some one can tell us the step by step process to deal the cases in which ADC is involved.
Hope to get a prompt response from the experts.
    Regards,
    Pawan

    Dear
I think there is no SAP standard Txn for mass deletion of Material Documents .You can check in MBAR/MBAD .But i think you have to go for LSMW or BDC  from ABAP side .

  • Import new quantity (PO Good Receipt) with serial number

    Hi,
After reading all the threads related to this topic, Iu2019m a bit mixed-up.
If my company is genuine new and Iu2019ve got no quantity in my stock, what is the best way to upload using a Good Receipt, quantities from a PO triggering at the same time creation of Serial Number?
    Thanks
    Stéphane

    Hi Stéphane,
Good Receipt and Good Receipt PO are two different objects.  One is only inventory adjustment. The other is linked to PO.  GRPO would be better but more process would be needed including all PO imports.
    Thanks,
    Gordon

    Please do help me.
Thanks for your time and paticence in advance.

    Hi Dave,
    Thanks for the reply.
We are trying to bring in the PO from legacy system (R/3 3.1i) to ECC 6.0 and in continuation with that we have to also bring the GR IR details for those PO's.
You indicated that we could use LSMW.. but which is the transaction we have to use to record the upload in LSMW.
    Looking forward for your inputs.

  • Import of bulk serial numbers with Goods Receipt

    Hello
I need to create an Add-On that automates the creation of Goods Receipt PO documents with linked serial numbers. Using the DI API I manage to create the Goods Receipt and link about 1000 serial numbers to one document without any problems. When the item qty (and linked serial number qty) goes beyond 10,000 it crashes (probably runs out of memory).
I know an alternative would be possibly using the DI Server. Has anyone ever done this with such big volumes? Not sure if the DI Server would be able to handle say 100,000 serial numbers, at a time.
    Any advice is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Jéan

    Thanks Gordon.
This is not good news. I am just concerned as the SDK help on DI Server specifically states:
"Business partners can use the DI Server for the following main scenarios:
==>> Heavy duty operations, such as batch"
I assume this is the same type of "heavy duty operation" as a data take-on would be? Or does it mean that B1's serial number management is limited to small quantities at a time.
