Got exception for fd: '126' with no corresponding table entry

I got an error thrown in the weblogic log shown below
<Posix Performance Pack> Got exception for fd: '126' with no corresponding table
entry
I guess it has something to do with the File Descriptor.I ahve the file descriptor
count set to Max(8096).
Does any one know what this means.
Krish.

In most cases, these errors can be ignored. Please open a support case with BEA and
report this problem along with a description of any observed side effects (if any).

  • Doubt in customizing request with respect to table entries

    Hi All,
    I have a doubt in customizing request with respect to table entries.
    Suppose I have a customizing request with respect to a table that contains say 10 entries in the development system.
    Now I am transporting this request to the quality system in which the same table contains 20 entries.
    When I am transporting this table from the development system to the quality system, will my 10 entries in the development system get added to the 20 entries in the quality system or will my table get overwritten in the quality system.
    What difference will this be if it is a workbench request ? .
    Regards,
    Sushanth H.S.

    Hello,
    So if we are transporting contents of a table from one system to another, it should always be a customizing request and not a workbench request right.
    If the "Delivery Class" of the table is 'C'(Customizing table, maintenance only by cust., not SAP import) it will ask for a customizing request.
    If it is 'A'(Application table (master and transaction data)), it will ask for Workbench.
    To add to your previous qn, when you transport the entries to subsequent system it will always check the KEY FIELDS and then update. If you see a transport, then the table entries are represented by their key fields.
    If you create new entries in your table and transport, it will add the records. Else it will modify them
    Hope i am clear.

  • How to create services for sql querry with joint 2 tables ?

    Hi all,
    I start to learn the php services function for mysql querry in flex 4.5 and all seam to be ok.
    But i don't find anny help or tutorial to create service that call a sql querry with joint to tables, like this :
    Select table01.fieldA table02.fieldA WHERE table01.fieldC LIKE table02.fieldC
    Are there a way to do that in flashBuilder creation services interfaces, or not ?
    Does we make a special value Object and all the AS3  classes and not use the template opperations ?
    Thank's for your help or link
    fbm

    Hi Fabien,
    I'm afraid you'll have to learn a bit more about PHP...
    Joined tables is a relational database feature. It has nothing to do with PHP, and PHP has nothing to do with Flex...
    The "magic" of the flex framework is that it can plug itself into any backend (.Net, Java, PHP...)
    The new way Flash Builder interacts with PHP is through AMF (Actionscript Messaging Format) with the help of Zend and Zend_Amf. You've been able to do it on your own for a while, but it was a bit tricky to set up... The new IDE helps you doing those mapping with wizards. What it does is that it serializes and deserializes objects from PHP to Actionscript, and also generates Actionscript value objects.
    So what you'll have to do is to write your own PHP services to retrieve your data from joined tables in MySQL. Those services will return simple arrays. Then start the wizard, select your services. Flash Builder will then map the objects contained in the PHP arrays into Actionscript typed objects.
    I suggest you have a deep look into Zend_Tables...
    Hope it'll help.
    Julien.

  • Handle invalid_number exception for a procedure with numeric in paramete

    I have a procedure that takes an input parameter as number(numeric datatype) how can i handle an invalid_number exception (-01722) to display a message when a user tries entering non-numeric input
    the procedure is shown below..
    create or replace procedure orders(custid_in IN number) is
    cursor order_cur is
    select order_id, order_date, total
    from product_order
    where customer_id = to_number(custid_in);
    order_row order_cur%rowtype; -- declare cursor variable
    err_msg varchar2(512);
    BEGIN
    dbms_output.put_line('Order Details for customer with customer id '||custid_in|| ' is shown below: ');
    dbms_output.put_line((chr(9)));
    open order_cur;
    LOOP
    fetch order_cur into order_row;
    exit when order_cur%notfound ;
    dbms_output.put_line('Order ID: '||order_row.order_id);
    dbms_output.put_line('Order Date: '||order_row.order_date);
    dbms_output.put_line('Total: '||order_row.total);
    dbms_output.put_line((chr(9)));
    END LOOP;
    close order_cur;
    EXCEPTION
    when invalid_number then
    dbms_output.put_line('Customer ID not correct. Try again! ');
    dbms_output.put_line((chr(9)));
    WHEN others THEN
    err_msg := sqlerrm;
    dbms_output.put_line('The following error occured: ');
    dbms_output.put_line(err_msg);
    END;

    My first recommendation is to remove the type conversion from your cursor:
    cursor order_cur is
    select order_id, order_date, total
    from product_order
    where customer_id = to_number(custid_in);making itcursor order_cur is
    select order_id, order_date, total
    from product_order
    where customer_id = custid_in;because you are already passing it into your stored procedure as parameter of type number.
    Then if you really want to check for the invalid number exception you will probably need to do it from where ever you are calling the procedure from since it's going to occur at the time it's called rather than once you are inside the procedure.
    And finally, remove your final exception handler (the WHEN OTHERS exception) it serves no useful purpose and is in point of fact detrimental to your code in that it may improperly handle unexpected errors and allow processing to continue when it should not.

  • Google AdSense & Adobe Air: Got banned for achieving success with my air apps

    I don't know if this is the right place to post it, but I'd like to tell you my little success story and warn about the implications that might come from the use of google adsense - probably
    the most popular mobile ad provider after google gave up on admob. Here it goes:
    Today I received an email from uncle Google stating that my account had been suspended due to the implementation of mobile AdSense ads in my apps, which is supposedly against the rules, even though I couldn't find anything specific that would support their claims in their terms of use. Nevertheless, to cut long story short, I've been easily making EUR50-60 and having 30-40k views a day (just in 2.5 months since the day I developed my first app on google play). So, as you can see, we're talking here about a really nice revenue, and it's just from my AIR apps.
    Unfortunately, when a developer does achieve success, people at google start checking them up in hopes of finding any reason to claim their hard-earned money and ban their accounts (I had on my adsense account somwhere around EUR 2000 - about EUR 1700 from apps and EUR 300 from my websites, and yes, google has taken it all, even the cash from the websites).
    This entire situation is really aggreviating and saddening. I mean, I've spent so much time, and money as well, promoting and developing my apps, and the only thing I get is a slap in the cheek . God that feels bloody awful. I believe that taking the matter to the court won't help either, as google has a paragraph in their terms of use stating that everything belongs to them, and that they can ban you at will without giving the reason. But what is the most insolent and infuriating is that they thanked me for "my cooperation and understanding, and wished me a nice day." - for realz google, you don't have to kick a lying men...
    The punch line of this depressing story is that if you only have the opportunity to transfer the money from your adsense account, or from any other ad provider your using on a daily basis, just DO IT and don't wait till they find anything on you and claim your revenue.
    Dear ADOBE, what's the real point of Air apps if we don't even have a viable and safe way to monetize our applications. Why do we have to be treated by the mobile ads providers as "subdevelopers"? We just want to get legally paid for our work. Is that too much to ask?
    Feel free to repost it whenever and wherever you want.

  • WAD: Design request for web template with re-occuring table object

    Hi all,
    I'm trying to create a web template design in WAD (WAS 6.20) using javascript that would loop and re-use the same table web item object displaying different sales employee data. The challenges I'm facing is that the number of employees to report on might be different for the reporting period and the report should have a sales employee specific header preceeding each table. And also the customer is looking at receiving a canned (precalculated) report generated weekly.
    I'm thinking that I could try looping through the 0salesemply characteristic values as displayed from a dropdown box object and pass the individual value as the table object's filter value and hopefully re-generate and render the same table with different filter values until the end of sales employee list of names is reached. Within that same loop, a second table pointing to a different data provider can also display selective data specific to that sales employee.
    My question is would such a design render the same table item multiple times based on the number of 0salesemply values and on a single web page. Would such a design work or would I need to look at designing a BSP application querying the ODS table directly.
    If anyone has any comments on how else I can achieve this or can provide examples of similar design it would be very much appreciated.
    Thank you all.

  • I reinstalled Firefox and used Xmarks to reinstall bookmarks. All work except for those in the bookmarks toolbar, which scroll down but don't open the page when clicked.

    I did a clean install of XP and reinstalled Firefox. Then I used Xmarks to get back all my bookmarks. All are working except for the bookmarks toolbar. It shows entries and scroll as normal but when I click on one the page doesn't open.

    I can't install xmarks for firefox

  • Issue with index on table

    Hi,
    We have created an index(assume z2) on table CATSDB with 2 fields. There is an other index(Z1 assume) with the same fields and the order is also same. When a report accesing the table it is taking more time to run when index Z2 is on table. But when deleted then the report ran quickly. Is it with the duplicate index created???
    Please let me know
    Regards
    Shiva

    Hi
    i am giving total index and buffering concept details by seeing this you can understand how we can achive performance through these
    <b>reward if usefull</b>
    <b>Performance during table access</b>
    <b>Indexes</b>
    Primary and secondary indexes
    Structure of an index
    Accessing tables using indexes
    <b>Table buffering</b>
    Advantages of buffering
    Concept of buffering
    Buffering types
    Buffer synchronization
    <b>Primary and secondary indexes</b>
    Index: Technical key of a database table.
    Primary index: The primary index contains the key fields of the table and a pointer to the non-key fields of the table. The primary index is created automatically when the table is created in the database.
    Secondary index: Additional indexes could be created considering the most frequently accessed dimensions of the table.
    <b>Structure of an Index</b>
    An index can be used to speed up the selection of data records from a table.
    An index can be considered to be a copy of a database table reduced to certain fields. The data is stored in sorted form in this copy. This sorting permits fast access to the records of the table (for example using a binary search). Not all of the fields of the table are contained in the index. The index also contains a pointer from the index entry to the corresponding table entry to permit all the field contents to be read.
    When creating indexes, please note that:
    An index can only be used up to the last specified field in the selection! The fields which are specified in the WHERE clause for a large number of selections should be in the first position.
    Only those fields whose values significantly restrict the amount of data are meaningful in an index.
    When you change a data record of a table, you must adjust the index sorting. Tables whose contents are frequently changed therefore should not have too many indexes.
    Make sure that the indexes on a table are as disjunctive as possible.
    (That is they should contain as few fields in common as possible. If two indexes on a table have a large number of common fields, this could make it more difficult for the optimizer to choose the most selective index.)
    <b>Accessing tables using Indexes</b>
    The database optimizer decides which index on the table should be used by the database to access data records.
    You must distinguish between the primary index and secondary indexes of a table. The primary index contains the key fields of the table. The primary index is automatically created in the database when the table is activated. If a large table is frequently accessed such that it is not possible to apply primary index sorting, you should create secondary indexes for the table.
    The indexes on a table have a three-character index ID. '0' is reserved for the primary index. Customers can create their own indexes on SAP tables; their IDs must begin with Y or Z.
    If the index fields have key function, i.e. they already uniquely identify each record of the table, an index can be called a unique index. This ensures that there are no duplicate index fields in the database.
    When you define a secondary index in the ABAP Dictionary, you can specify whether it should be created on the database when it is activated. Some indexes only result in a gain in performance for certain database systems. You can therefore specify a list of database systems when you define an index. The index is then only created on the specified database systems when activated
    <b>Database access using Buffer concept</b>
    Buffering allows you to access data quicker by letting you
    access it from the application server instead of the database.
    <b>Advantages of buffering</b>
    Table buffering increases the performance when the records of the table are read.
    As records of a buffered table are read directly from the local buffer of the application server on which the accessing transaction is running, time required to access data is greatly reduced. The access improves by a factor of 10 to 100 depending on the structure of the table and on the exact system configuration.
    If the storage requirements in the buffer increase due to further data, the data that has not been accessed for the longest time is displaced. This displacement takes place asynchronously at certain times which are defined dynamically based on the buffer accesses. Data is only displaced if the free space in  the buffer is less than a predefined value or the quality of the access is not satisfactory at this time.
    Entering $TAB in the command field resets the table buffers on the corresponding application server. Only use this command if there are inconsistencies in the buffer. In large systems, it can take several hours to fill the buffers. The performance is considerably reduced during this time.
    <b>Concept of buffering</b>
    The R/3 System manages and synchronizes the buffers on the individual application servers. If an application program accesses data of a table, the database interfaces determines whether this data lies in the buffer of the application server. If this is the case, the data is read directly from the buffer. If the data is not in the buffer of the application server, it is read from the database and loaded into the buffer. The buffer can therefore satisfy the next access to this data.
    The buffering type determines which records of the table are loaded into the buffer of the application server when a record of the table is accessed. There are three different buffering types.
    With full buffering, all the table records are loaded into the buffer when one record of the table is accessed.
    With generic buffering, all the records whose left-justified part of the key is the same are loaded into the buffer when a table record is accessed.
    With single-record buffering, only the record that was accessed is loaded into the buffer.
    <b>Buffering types</b>
    With full buffering, the table is either completely or not at all in the buffer. When a record of the table is accessed, all the records of the table are loaded into the buffer.
    When you decide whether a table should be fully buffered, you must take the table size, the number of read accesses and the number of write accesses into consideration. The smaller the table is, the more frequently it is read and the less frequently it is written, the better it is to fully buffer the table.
    Full buffering is also advisable for tables having frequent accesses to records that do not exist. Since all the records of the table reside in the buffer, it is already clear in the buffer whether or not a record exists.
    The data records are stored in the buffer sorted by table key. When you access the data with SELECT, only fields up to the last specified key field can be used for the access. The left-justified part of the key should therefore be as large as possible for such accesses. For example, if the first key field is not defined, the entire table is scanned in the buffer. Under these circumstances, a direct access to the database could be more efficient if there is a suitable secondary index there.
    With generic buffering, all the records whose generic key fields agree with this record are loaded into the buffer when one record of the table is accessed. The generic key is a left-justified part of the primary key of the table that must be defined when the buffering type is selected. The generic key should be selected so that the generic areas are not too small, which would result in too many generic areas. If there are only a few records for each generic area, full buffering is usually preferable for the table. If you choose too large a generic key, too much data will be invalidated if there are changes to table entries, which would have a negative effect on the performance.
    A table should be generically buffered if only certain generic areas of the table are usually needed for processing.
    Client-dependent, fully buffered tables are automatically generically buffered. The client field is the generic key. It is assumed that not all of the clients are being processed at the same time on one application server. Language-dependent tables are a further example of generic buffering. The generic key includes all the key fields up to and including the language field.
    The generic areas are managed in the buffer as independent objects. The generic areas are managed analogously to fully buffered tables. You should therefore also read the information about full buffering.
    Single-record buffering is recommended particularly for large tables in which only a few records are accessed repeatedly with SELECT SINGLE. All the accesses to the table that do not use SELECT SINGLE bypass the buffer and directly access the database.
    If you access a record that was not yet buffered using SELECT SINGLE, there is a database access to load the record. If the table does not contain a record with the specified key, this record is recorded in the buffer as non-existent. This prevents a further database access if you make another access with the same key
    You only need one database access to load a table with full buffering, but you need several database accesses with single-record buffering. Full buffering is therefore generally preferable for small tables that are frequently accessed.
    <b>Synchronizing local buffers</b>
    The table buffers reside locally on each application server in the system. However, this makes it necessary for the buffer administration to transfer all changes made to buffered objects to all the application servers of the system.
    If a buffered table is modified, it is updated synchronously in the buffer of the application server from which the change was made. The buffers of the whole network, that is, the buffers of all the other application servers, are synchronized with an asynchronous procedure.
    Entries are written in a central database table (DDLOG) after each table modification that could be buffered. Each application server reads these entries at fixed time intervals.
    If entries are found that show a change to the data buffered by this server, this data is invalidated. If this data is accessed again, it is read directly from the database. In such an access, the table can then be loaded to the buffer again.

  • No table entries found for specified key

    Hi All,
    I have developed a program to upload data from flat file with the help of GUI UPLOAD. It is succesfully updating data in my Z-table.
    Whenever I tried to view the content of table for specific field, message shows No table entries found for specified key. However if I add * as a suffix, it shows the data & when I directly Execute table it also displays the data.
    I have also cross checked the spaces before or after the specific content, no space found.
    Only two fields are creating this issue Individually (one of them is key field)
    Regards
    Mukul Maheshwari

    Hi Dear ,
    Here i had implemented program go through it you can understand easily.
    While creating table give one field as primary as you know that.
    tables zdata1.
    data it_tab type TABLE OF zdata1 WITH HEADER LINE.
    CALL FUNCTION 'GUI_UPLOAD'
      EXPORTING
        FILENAME                      = 'C:\Documents and Settings\E50039\Desktop\data.txt'     ***************File path
       HAS_FIELD_SEPARATOR           = 'X'
      TABLES
        DATA_TAB                      = it_tab
    IF SY-SUBRC <> 0.
    MESSAGE ID SY-MSGID TYPE SY-MSGTY NUMBER SY-MSGNO
            WITH SY-MSGV1 SY-MSGV2 SY-MSGV3 SY-MSGV4.
    ENDIF.
    LOOP AT it_tab.
    zdata1-no1 = it_tab-no1.
    zdata1-name = it_tab-name.
    zdata1-empid = it_tab-empid.
    insert zdata1.
    ENDLOOP.
    Flat file
    1 name1 empid1
    2 name2 empid2
    note: Give the tabspace between values in flat file.

  • Marking Z table entry for Deletion

    Hi All,
    Based on some condition in my program,
    I am entrying one entry in Custom Z table.
    Also for some other condition,
    I need to mark the Table entry for deletion only, but it should not Delete.
    So pls guide me for:
    1) How to make Custom table entry as Mark for Deletion?
    2) When I put Select Query on table, how  can I write that do not Select those
        Records which are marked for  Deletion ?
    Rishi

    Hi Rishi,
    Create a new field of type 'CDXFELD' (Data Type) in the Custom Z table. Now populate that new field with 'X' if it is marked for deletion. Then you can select all those entries which that field 'CDXFELD' = Space.
    i.e., if the field 'CDXFELD' = 'X' then it is marked for deletion else not.
    Select *
      from Zcustom talbe
      in to IT_TAB
      where  CDXFELD = space.
    Hope this will help..
    Regards,
    Ravi..

    Yep, the appserver got hold of a usable connection but the connection was closed before the appserver had finished/committed with it. It could be that the connection was closed by the database or some firewall timeout setting.
    A good start is to investigate options of configuring your appserver's connection eviction policies including forcing a validation SQL to be executed when a connection is acquired. Make sure that such a query doesn't impact on performance and have some performance and integration testing before rolling out.i found that if i close the computer which causes this issue, hence other dev computers can deploy normally.
    "deploy" here i mean deploy to a running instance on each dev's machine.
    From this, i would guess the common database server itself rejects connection from clients.
    I will try to investigate more if i am missing something.
    And here i found a link that possibly a first good attempt:
    [http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/m/505809/]
    EclipseLink automatically recovers from communication failures, but there is little we can do to diagnose the failure. We basically execute a query and have to wait for the JDBC driver, or DataSource's response, if it hangs for 10minutes, then we are waiting. You could set the JDBC timeout hint on your query, but whether the JDBC driver honors this is up to the driver. You should see the SQLException in your logs, provided your log level is warning or lower.
    If you cannot fix your firewall, they you could change your connection pool settings to use a min number of connections of 0, so there will never be idle connections. But then you will be reconnecting a lot.
    You could also use a third party connection pool or DataSource that supports a timeout setting on the pooled connections, or spawn a thread in your application the clears the connection pool every 30minutes.regards,

  • My bb curve got wet but is in top shape except for one

    My Blackberry curve 8520 got soaking wet a few weeks ago. Thankfully, I was able to revive it even though the wetness indicators of my device and battery turned red. After three days of drying my batt and device, everything is in top shape as if nothing happened. applause for blackberry for building really durable smartphones!!
    except for one problem. when i turned my device on, the signal goes to the SOS mode by itself. it recognizes the sim card, but still the signal stays the same.
    i've asked some repair shops and i was told that they need to upgrade the OS first even after i told them that i got it wet. i am doubtful of their diagnosis! haha imagine some shops even wanted to charge me just to upgrade the OS! i want to upgrade it on my own first before i go back to them coz indeed my device is still running on  OS 4.0....
    my questions are...is it possible to upgrade my OS with an SOS signal? i have a prepaid data plan by the way on my sim. and second question is..do i still need to hope that my device will get fixed? or is it a dead hardware failure problem and accept that its time to move on to another bb.. please help. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

    for the SOS, it is because it is not able to catch the signal. 1st please update the OS. You have to connect to your device to the system and then open the link in Internel Explorer (Active X should be enable) and then click Update.
    http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/devices/#tab_tab_update
    It will automatically updates. Otherwise , you have to download the BlackBerry Desktop Sofware from
    http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/
    Before or After updating the OS, please go to "Manage Connections" icon
    The Mobile Network option should be Checked. Then go to "Mobile Network Options"
    Data services should be On.
    Mobile Network will displays the name of the Carrier you are using only when it got the signal. if it is in SOS mode, go to the next option, Network Selection Mode: change it to Manual from Automatic. This will scans the available networks or you can also scan. Then it will scans the Available Networks. Choose your Carrier Network.
    As you told that Data Plan you have been activated, select the Network Mode: 3G or 2G according your plan.
    Then Close it.
    If your Carrier name is not showing scan it again manually.
    Once if you are confirmed that its working for some time, go to the same options, change it Automatic.
    This can be done before or after update. Over the Network you can update the software. But if you lose the connection, it is time waste. SOS means the BB device is not connected to any network, so no internet or no calls or nothing. it should be in EDGE (for 2G) in caps.
    Better to update the OS to 5.

    If you are wondering why you are not getting any responses, it is because you have vented a complaint without any details that make any sense or give anyone something to work on.
    If you want help, I suggest actually detailing what has happened, with versions of software etc. Anything that would let us assist.
    As a start I am guessing that you have not really got the hang of "How it all works". Firstly download the Pages09_UserGuide.pdf from under the Help menu. Read that and view the Video Tutorials in the same place. A good addition would be the iWork 09 Missing manual book and something to help you learn how to use your Mac.
    If there are specific tasks you need help with:

    Is a good resource.
