Got locked out of iPhone 4 my only option was to upgrade so I got iphone 5s but when I restore from backup that's recent from iCloud I don't get my game data and app data how do I get all my data back for games and apps?

I still have old phone is there a way to bypass 4 digit code my kid created it and locked me out but it's disabled says connect to iTunes but no access to computer just wifi. I have all my data still on it there's gotta be a way to over ride it or something far situations like this cause someone said iCloud don't save everything like app info just basic app info PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN HELP OUT???
I'd like my phone to have all data it had when I backed up to iCloud bought extra space and everything and still didn't get all my data from other phone and I made sure everything was checked on to be backed up

Thanks so much Meg. Unfortunately, iTunes is the program I use to perform syncing. I don't really have other outside options. It is also the location of the backup I would use to restore my phone, and my only way to reclaim important data. I am concerned that, since the last backup occurred when the "other" bar was only moderately huge (around 29G I think), that a backup would replicate the problem back onto my phone.
My contacts, etc. are all in address book and the calendar app on my Mac. As far as I know, iTunes is the way to get them back, but iTunes is where the problem is.
Any thoughts on this?

In technical support, sometimes you have to make educated guesses. I'm sorry that you were offended.
iTunes does prompt when it is going to erase a device, and the message is clear.
She said in her message that she was able to successfully sync the old ipad. This indicated to me that itunes wiping the data was not an issue, because either it had been setup at the apple store (in which case it doesn't actually wipe the ipad despite saying it will*) (*based on a single case I saw), or because the itunes media folder was migrated.
Furthermore, my solution was to tell her how to backup her ipad (by either doing it manually, or as a last resort, by deleting the corrupt backup -- that she couldn't access anyway.)
I got that last part of the instructions from the "Taking Control of your iphone" book which I found samples of when I did a google search for "corrupted backup itunes".
She marked this as a solution, so it worked for her.

It sounds like your iPhone 6 Plus is taking a long time to restore from an iCloud backup. I can understand why you'd be concerned after several days of waiting.
This might happen if your backup contains a lot of content such as pictures or your Wi-Fi connection isn't consistent.
If the restore still hasn't completed, take a look at the information in the "Restoring my device from an iCloud backup is taking a long time" and "A message says restore incomplete or some items could not be restored" sections of this Support article:

Today I got my iPhone 4s changed from sprint and when I enter my icloud information it gives me an old backup (196 days old) and I back up automatically all nights , there was no choice to select which one I wanted or anything. So I ended up loosing a lot of important information, all the pictures and everything that I did the past 196 days. I try to see if there is a place on the web that the back up data is displayed but I haven't found anything. I have a lot of important information on icloud, to the extend that I even pay for more space because I use the iPhone as part of my work. Can someone please explain to me what has happen and if there is a way that I can recover my information? I am desperate it is very important. Thank you very much!

Once in a while the restore process seems to mess up. What I don't understand is why you would perform a weekly restore.
At any rate, if you must restore, perform a device reset (settings>general>reset) and then you will have the opportunity to restore from iCloud. Restore a device whenever it no longer works correctly, not just as a matter of maintenance. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Yes, yes & yes, I am on my home wi-fi & have tried on a personal wi-fi hotspot while out, I had enough iCloud space before, but after deleting my last backup I've got loads & my phone stopped automatically backing up, so have been trying using the backup now button.

What happened to the phone. Did it just go black? Did you try to plug it into Itunes and see if it can be seen or throw it on the charger. You can still try the reset procedure listed in http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430 and see if the phone turns back on.
The only way to get things back is to have backed them up ahead of time.

I just got an iPhone 5s but now am unable to backup my 4s before switching phones. I have tried 2 different computers and both give me an error message saying simply "iTunes is unable to backup this iPhone as an error has occurred."

I have the latest version of itunes but do not have ios7 on my phone as I do not have the required 4GB available to do the update

i cannot copy my songs in my itunes library and have them stored on my iphone. It keeps telling ,me that I can access music in icloud. Unless as part of a backup, or stored somewhere else, they are gone.
Your son needs his own Apple ID for iCloud, FaceTime & iMessage. He can continue to use yours for iTunes content, but for everything else, he needs his own.
When you did what you did, as far as iCloud knows, this is the same person with multiple devices, and that's they way things are supposed to work: keep everything in sync.

I got a "new" iphone from the Apple store when my dog bit the phone and cracked the front. This new phone will not play any music, ie no sound will come out. I can watch videos with sounds but no music from any of my playlists. I checked with Apple and was told to try to restore my iphone. I did all the necessary prep work like backing up and syncing and then hit the restore button on the iTunes page. A file menu icon popped up with a blank in it and I do not know what file I need to put in the window as where it needs to find a file to restore the phone. I never got a message that said are you sure you want to restore the phone. I need some help if anyone knows how to do this or should I just go back to the Apple store (which is over an hour away)? IPhone 4 taking long to restore from iCloud backup

Hi, I'm restoring my mothers iPhone 4 (Dont know if its CDM or whatever...) and the restore is taking SUPER long, I have the iPhone 4S and it takes 6 minutes, hers takes hours... Were backing up from the same Wi-Fi and her backup is just a big larger. Right now it says 70 hours! I have a fast Internet connection...

edit: It is still on the "Restoring Settings" part of the iCloud Restore. Shes very impatient, any way i could skip this and just keep all the contacts?!
