GPO enabe\disable status won't hold

So here's a funny yet really annoying one for you guys. I am trying to edit this "no macro warning access runtime 2003" GPO to make sure that it disables the macro message that shows up every time I open the database. Here's how the GPO looks likeI am able to enable the GPO as you an see but when I try to enable the "disable macro warning" in the next screen it goes back to disable. It'll let me change it to "enable" and hit "ok" but if I double-click it to see that the changes has been saved I see that it went back to "disable".Crazy isn't it?!?!? My DC is 2008r2 SP1One of the people who tried helping me tried re-creating this issue on a 2003 and 2012 DCs but never had an issue. Any idea guys?

  • Color space setting won't hold

My display setting for the color space won’t hold.  I’ll set sRGB (Control panel/Display/Change display settings/Advance settings/Monitor Color) close the dialogue and all is well for a nonspecific period of time.  At some point the sRGB setting will deselect.  I’ll reset it but the cycle goes on and on.  Has anyone had this experience or know the whys and wherefores?

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I had a similar problem with my T410, using Windows 7's Calibrate Display under Color Management in Control Panel and I found two critical issues with keeping color calibrations (profiles) active. The first involves setting Windows up to use the profile and the second involves preventing the graphic card's applications from resetting and loosing the color calibration.
First, in order to get Windows 7 to use your color profile, it must be associated with your display in Color Management under the Devices tab. Also, two check boxes must be checked; the first being Use my settings for this device on the Devices tab and the second is Use Windows display calibration on the Advanced tab. This second check box will remain grayed out until you click Change System Defaults and then clicking the Advanced tab.
It is my understanding that color profiles generated by display calibrators can be loaded and handled by Windows in lieu of the third-party loaders. The following link will shed more light on this use of Windows to load the profiles:
    http://www.pusztaiphoto.com/articles/colormgmt/win7/default.aspx
Secondly, the graphics card's user interface modules seem to constantly re-set the video card thereby loosing the color calibrations. These may be disabled under the Startup tab in MSCONFIG. On my machine, I disabled three Intel® Common User Interface items: igfxtray.exe, hkcmd.exe and igfxpers.exe. The following links may shed some more light on this:

My screen won't hold the color I chose, keeps turning yellow

Are you using any other settings? Are you overclocking at all?
CD/DVD is a generic term used for all DVD drives, so it should automatically detect your installed DVD drive and use that to boot if it's set up as the boot deviI
I put it back to default. No overclocking. I agree about the CD/DVD is a generic term but the motherboard disagrees with you. Also when I "save change and reboot and go to Change setting info my DVD is disabled and is not set to first boot and there is no place to change it. The boot disk I'm using works fine on other computers and I also tried another DVD drive but the BIOS just isn't letting me boot to my DVD?

I have done absalutely nothing to my 4g apple ipod touch, and it over heats, won't hold a charge, and the front camera will not work. I bought this brand new in december, and i've barely used it. I've tried restarting it and everything, I honestly think this is out raging because i spend over $200 on this. To have for music and instagram. I use it about an hour a day, but i've only been using it for about 3 months although i've had it since December. Any suggestions that may help me?

    Try:
    - A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory settings/new iPod
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

  • Ipod 3rd Gen won't hold charge

I got a 3rd generation Ipod used for my sister for christmas, but it is having problems that I'm worried about.
First of all, it won't charge through the usb cord hooked up to the computer. It does recognize it in ITUNES but it won't charge. I hooked it up to a wall charger, and it charges fine but it won't hold a charge for more than 10 minutes!!! Any help?

3rd generation iPods don't charge over USB.
If the wall charger is USB, it won't charge the iPod either.
You will need to purchase a Firewire wall charger.

  • Brand new ipod shuffles won't hold a charge

I've bought and returned 2 ipod 4th generation shuffles because they won't hold a charge for more than 1.5 hrs after I charged them overnight. Those were brand new ipods and I use them for the gym. Why aren't they holding a charge? Has anyone else had these problems? They are supposed to have a long battery charge.  I don't want to keep buying and returning ipod shuffles. My other ipod shuffles haven't lasted long either. The battery quality is very low. I might try a 3rd shot but I'm very frustrated.
Can anyone recommend another brand other than Apple?
    Thanks

When you are excercising with the Shuffle do you have it protected with a moisture resistant sleeve or case?  If not, there is a good possibility that moisture is making its way into the Shuffle and deteriotating its internal components including the battery.
You could test this out, by replacing the Shuffle a third time, charging it over night, and then seeing how long it lasts on a full charge without using it for exercise.

iPod touch 2nd G won't hold charge. Restore does not help. Removed all apps and it still discharges even if not turned on and used for anythig. What gives?

If it is warranty, bring it back to the Genius bar and insist on a replacement.  If out of warranty, you can get a replacement iPod with a new battery for $79 at the genius bar.

White screen when connected to a charge.  At times it has a battery with a flash through it and at times an error code comes up.  it does not hold a charge for long.
i've downloaded the newest software updat (i think)
i've tried the application loader in desktop manager.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me before i throw the phone out my window????
What happened when you tried putting different battery in it? Did you ask to borrow one to test from the carrier?
Or did you purchase a new battery and try it?
Do you have the right battery for this series phone  and is it an OEM Blackberry battery?

  • My iPod touch won't hold a charge since 1.1.3 update

After the 1.1.3 update, I purchased the iPhone apps for my iPod touch and also added 6 webpage addresses to my home screen. There is two pages on my homescreen. I also added two email accounts, one using yahoo, and one using msn, going through izymail. since the update, my iPod won't hold a charge at all. I haven't really used it yet, but once or twice during the day I check my mail, and other than that it is off. They battery constantly drains, If it is full, it will lose batter life in about a day, just sitting on my night stand turned off. No music or videos are left playing. Is something with the update or my iPod, can I fix it? Oh, I change it from an apple usb wall charger, and I got my iPod at christmas.
    Thanks

You say your turning it off does that mean you are holding in the sleep button and sliding the unit off or does it mean you are just locking the unit with the screen off?
If you have the Wifi enabled and only have the IPT in standby mode then this is why it's depleting the battery so quickly. Charge the unit till it's full with the little plug showing and then eject it and turn off wifi and leave the unit in standby overnight and see if the battery depletes at all.
I've noticed that Wifi really ***** the life out of the battery very quickly so give it a try and report back to us.

  • IPod Touch (5th Gen) Battery Won't Hold Charge

After the last update my iPod Touch 5th Gen will not hold a charge. I haven't had any problems with it until this 8.1.1 update. Yesterday I charged the battery up to full charge and  used it briefly to listen to music in my car however here it is the next day and the battery is dead again. It is NOT playing while not in my car. Meaning nothing should be running the battery down because it's not being used.  I know it's not playing because the volume is set to half way so I'd undoubtedly hear it if it was playing.  It just won't hold a charge and for no apparent reason. Any suggestions?

I just downloaded the new OS X Mountain Lion, and my iMessages status won't change!! How do I fix this?

if you set up only iMessage account, you cannot change the status, because iMessage has no status.
You should set up another service (for example AIM) with status service. Initially I didn't understand this "issue" too, but it is correct.

  • I pod classic battery dies (2n ipod classic that i've had to do this) and won't hold a charge. 1 month out of warranty. How do you get a company to make better products or have better warrantys?

Second time this has happened to an ipod classic that i bought (the last one I bought 14 months ago and it is out of apples warranty.) Battery won't hold a charge or even register when pluged into anything (wall charger, USB, mac book, etc.)
Apple is refusing to do anything except charge me $60 for a refurbished battery (let me remind you that I gave them $370 14 months ago for a brand-new (not refurbished) i pod classic.
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this battery issue? The obvious answer is for apple to make a better product (2 ipod classics, 2 ipod classic battery die outs. the most recent purchase in a shocking 14months ago.) Better products or more realistic and forgiving warrantly policys.) I am NOT going to pay for the $60 swap out as Apple has taken enough money from this sucker (will never purchase another shoddy apple product again.)
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice? Shame on me for giving my $ to apple. THEY ARE A FAD COMPANY WHOSE PRODUCTS ARE PART OF A CULTURAL FAD---nothing real is in there (well SOMETHING was real and working for 14months.)

I feel your angst, especially, knowing that Apple has become the most profitable company in the world, by selling us products that breaks down when the warranty run out, and crap service staff, who doesn't know anything about the iPod Classic, except offer to sell us refurbished iPod classic.
You can get the Battery replaced at 3rd Party store for less.
BTW, (most contributors might not agree with me) if  you recharged your iPod everyday, it will be dead just 2 months after the warranty expires. My logic, the iPod battery will last for about 400 recharge cycles according to Apple Specs listed below
    Charge Cycles
A properly maintained iPod battery is designed to retain up to 80% of its original capacity at 400 full charge and discharge cycles
So if your lifestyle is plugin in to car Audio dock, while driving, and plug in to home stereo while home, then it is 2-3 charge cycles per day.
But then you cant do anything about it, just switch to another media player.
