GR Document and GI Document Linkage

Hi All,
I'm an Abaper i've got strange requirment with a strange report.The requirement is as follows:
The report needs to show up the difference of GR Date and current date...........What i mean is lets take this example......
With sales order and without sales order...........a internal purchase order for some items is create to get the stock of material from vendor.....Once the GR is done through MIGO the material documents is posted......this as we know is considered as GR document and document posted as GR date........No lets say that the GR document has 50 quantiry of material XYX in the item.On the same day i did Delivery of 20 quantiry of materials and GI document got posted after PGI
Next day i'll be doing Delivery against this agian for 10 quantiry with and yet another new GI document will be posted after PGI ...........After this lets say GR is done for the same material next day with qunatiy 10.Now the current stock through MB5B it shows up 30.
Now on the selection screen i've got Material number and Plant as my select options in the report which i need to develop.Take the current date as 13/10/2009.
Summary of the above transaction would be........like this in MB5B.......
Material:XYZ
Plant:P123
current stock: 30.

Now i need to show up for how manys days the material has been there in the inventory till date.As there is no linkage between the GR and GI ........i mean for what document the GI has been issued if i could get this linkage then it would be pretty easy for me to calcuate the difference of date............In the above case i could'nt get any linkage...............so how to calcuate that the stock has been in there for how many days from the current date.......The current stock needs to be considered again is 30.
Let me be more clear and specific........the stock which has come on 10/10/2009 is 50 if i take this quantiy as 50 and then calculate and minus this from the current date(13/10/2009) it would be 3 days and quantiy as 50......but taking the current stock its 30(so the logic would be wrong).........and another twist is........if i calculate like this.......i mean if i take up stock 20 as on 11/10/2009 it would be 20 again........so kind of worried how to show this up......Please go through this and get back......with some solution

Business objects and event type linkages...

Hi Experts,
Im a bit confused with business objects (swo1) and event type linkages(swetypv). Ive learned that business objects are used to trigger events and so how does event type linkages related to business object? Do I need to create business object or should I just search/look for the appropriate object needed?Please kindly explain to me the process or steps in using business object and event type linkages in related with idocs.

Hi,
Business objects neednot have to be created if your are fine with the standard method they have used in or the events yre available for you. If you need to cusomize it then you have to copy it to a subtype. Then do your modifications in it. Event type linkages are used to say which event is active for a Workflow. And if you want to trigger a Workflow based on certain conditions then you have to use either this or Start of Condition. The Error handling of workflow is also handled by Event Type Linkage. So whenvever you create a event linkage for a workflow you get an entry in Event Type Linkage.

IE03 - Serial number history and business documents linkage after archive

SAP has provided serial number history feature within Equipment master display IE03. History works fine as long as data are in live system. However when it becomes real history - meaning once order or notification linked to material + serial number is archived history is not visible. Archival I am referring to PM_ORDER, QM_CONTROL, MM_MATBEL etc and not PM_OBJLIST (which is meant for archiving serial number history)
Has anyone encounter this issue with ECC 6.0? Any solution exist? If custom what are the different approches?

Hi Jay,
When archiving Service Orders (archiving object PM_ORDER), there is an option in the write variant called "Generate historical orders". If you select this option, then the history should be visible even though you have archived the Service Order. I pressume that you should have the same option for the write variants of the other archiving objects that you mentioned.

Document Linkage from Material Master to BOM

Hi friends,
I am having a scenario where in we have attached the material drawing document in the material master we want the same to be reflected in the BOM , the same can be made available in the BOM by manualy assigning the document is there any other method wherein this manual assignment can be avoided?

You have to implement document Management module.
then it can be managed no of drawing for a material bom with versions.

Enterprise Compensation Management and Workflow event linkage

Hi Experts,
When the compensation plan is submitted for an Employee ECM_Submit event does not get triggered. The configuration for the user interface settings is complete. Even tried to put the external debugger in the class CL_HRECM00_WORKFLOW_EVENT in the method RAISE_COMPENSATION_NOTIFICATION but system is not stopping at the debugger and directly updated the records in info type 759 with submit status without triggering the event.

The document link is for setting up annual review.
Our requirement is to set up any-time review for which system does not allow the setting up of the User Interface records for notification.
However, immaterial of whether notification is selected or not, the system events CREATE, SUBMIT, APPROVE, REJECT must be triggered. Only if there is a receiver to those events, following actions may occur.

Purchase Requisition and Sales Order Linkage (Order Costing)

Dear, Gurus
I have a scenario where in the Purchase Requisition you can assign acct cat C for Sales Order to item 010 for example. What exactly is this used for I mean is it used to transfer the price of the purchase into the Sales Order? Or its just a linking for reporting purpose? User would like if the purchase order or its requisition price come into the conditions of my Sales Order. Is this possible if yes how or thru which condition type? I was told this is order costing and I have no idea how to configure my sales order in terms of order costing to pull the price of the purchase requisition or purchase order.
Recap
1)     What is the purpose of the linkage to the Sales order?
2)     Can the price be linked into the sales order this way?
3)     Any other valuable information I should know please feel free.

My scenario is not the same as in 3rd party processing. In fact my scenario is make to order and even repairs of other companies machinery. Now what we are trying to achieve is lets say in the repair or in production of the customers machinery or service, MM needs to make a purchase for a part or tool etc. That in itself has a price. Meaning our purchase mm dept has to pay the vendor for the purchase made and in return we need to charge our customer for that purchase. So we would like for the price of the purchase order come in our sales order condition type as a surcharge.
We were able to fetch the price of the production order automatically thru condition type EK02.
We would like to do the same from purchase order.

Is there anyway to copy a selection of slides from one project to another and keep the linkage?

Hi all,
I've created a 'template' type project, with a selection of slides all containing styles of lessons. Some of these lessons are set up in a way that they use several slides, linked to one another in one way (or several ways). The linkage is conatined with selectable objects on each slide (e.g. clicking this object will jump the user to the 5th slide)
Basically, the linkage is important to the set up. But when i take these slides from the template project and create a new project with them, the linkage all disappears and defaults to 'go to next slide', thus screwing up the setup of the lesson.
I tried to create the template as a means of saving time of design with the upcoming creation, becuase these will be used over and over again. I could manually link up each slide again every time i bring them into a new project, but before accepting that I thought it worth asking anybody if they know how to copy in a sequence of slides and have them keep their linkage?

So effectively there is no workaround?
Shame there isn't an import item in Captivate dedicated to inter-Captivate projects.
The only thing I can think of is to work over the top of the 'template' project, keep the slides needed for the lesson i'm owrking on, delete the rest, then rename/save as something new.

Missing of Business partner and Individual objects linkage.

We are implementing CRM 7.0 service.We don't have equipments(cannot able to see it in IE03 and equipment number will be in EQUI,Since equipment view is not activated in serial number profile of material) and have serial numbers generated for the sales order line item.Hence we opted for download of serial number and serial number configuration(VC) after making all necessary config settings and Iam able to see it in webclient under INDIVIDUAL OBJECTS(NOT IBASE).Also able to search individual objects based on product ID(Material) or serial number or BP wise in webclient.
Now Iam facing the the following issue
Iam not able to search the individual objects based on BP for the old data(data created in ECC before we did related configurations in CRM).whereas Iam able to search the same old data based on product ID and Serial number,meaning BP linkage is missing for the old data.
Can anyone suggest what is missing.

As far as the default values ..
I want to default the 'Relationship' field to 'Customer' and the 'Reverse Relationship' field to 'Vendor'. I tried adding as default value:
[<RelationshipRole>] = LookupValue("PARTY_REL_TYPE","Customer")
I'm probably doing something wrong in this expression, but can't seem to make it work !

And what exactly have you been trying to do? You need to be more specific and when you do, please ask your questions on the program specidfic forums. I'm sure they'll have all the answers on how to invoke one program from the other (though I'm sure that if you were hoping to avoid redundant catalogs tha answer is "No", because each program handles this differently).

Creation of Shipment Document after Saving the Material Document in SAP ETM

The SAP ETM (Equipment Tools Management) is active in the system.
As per the process flow We need to create a material document say with movement type 501.
The moment we save this document the system should create the Shipmenty Document in ETM.
The required BADI's and the function modules are activated and the required linkages are also activated.
Still the system does not behave as desired.

At WF see that Creating CEM ship. doc. failure cause no agent defined.
But I assigned the following tasks:
a) Standard task 80000088 Create ETM ShipDoc from MM Doc. Dialog.
b) Standard task 80000087 ETM ShipDoc GR Try Again?
for myself as object type US.
What's wrong?

Document Object Linking with Material

Dear All,
I have a small query regaridng the object linking between document and material. Whenever i create part in CAD system, i am creating a document and material for the part in the SAP PLM system using the CAD Interface. Then if i log onto the SAP PLM system under document i am able to see the linked material in object links. Where as i am not able to see the document link in the material basic data screen.
Where can i found the document linkage information for the material in material master screens.

Hi Rajesh,
in transactions MM02 and MM03 you have to go to the "Additional Data" Screen. Please use the button and then switch to the "Document Data" tab. Here you should be able to see the linked document info record.

Play a sound on mouseover in an html canvas document in Flash CC

I've been looking for quite some time to do something that I'm sure is simple, but I can't find the answer. I'm sorry if I missed it, but I appreciate any help anyone can provide.
I have a simple button in flash that I am converting to an html canvas document so I can place it as html in my website with animation and sound on mouseover. I got the animation working the way I want it when I publish to html, but using Actionscript 3, I had a sound that played when the user moused over the button. I want to have it still play a sound when the user mouses over it in my html canvas file too, but I have not had success yet with converting my Actionscript to Javascript and am not a javascript expert by any means. I would also like to have multiple formats of the audio file linked in the code for any browsers that don't work with mp3 files. I can convert the audio file no problem but don't know how to code this…. I have found a few general tutorials on this, but have not been able to get it to work with anything I've tried so far.
Here is the Actionscript code I had which works fine in my original document when I export as a .swf file.

You can follow the below steps to easily play a sound at runtime - like on mouseover.
1. Make sure your audio is imported in library and has a linkage name specified.
2. Open Windows Menu -> Code Snippets panel and expand HTML5 Canvas -> Event Handlers section.
3. Select your button on Stage and apply the MouseOver Event from Code Snippets to it.
4. In the MouseOverHandler function add the below line and test movie:
playSound('audio_linkage_name');
If you still face problems let me know.
Also, you might want to go through the SoundJS documentation for more control with Audio in HTML5.

Problems merging multiple interactive documents into one - InDesign CS5, OS X 10.6.5

We have two people working on different pages of what will ultimately be one interactive InDesign project for placing on a website. When moving the pages(s) from one document into another (move pages command), all the items in the timing panel get reordered and all the linkage data is lost. Is there a fix for this? What is the best way to import pages into another document? Thanks.

I don't think the interactivity features in CS5 are robust enough to expect that timing commands would remain intact in such a move (this is a "version one" feature, and this was probably not part of the spec). I'd move your pages together first, then work on the subtleties of timing animations.
