Graph of Multiple Numeric Result displaying measurements and upper and lower limits

Is there a way with your graph control to show all the measured values against upper and lower limits in the same graph?. I can display individual lines, but would like to show all the data on the one graph. The woefully cryptic help files you provide with the graph control in TestStand seriously needs attention (Give examples!) also axis labelling, how is that achieved?

I'm not sure I understand what you're wanting to see with the data plotted on the graph--would it be possible for you to show us an example, even if it's just a drawn mockup of what the graph would look like? I'd like to look into it a bit and confirm that there is not a way to display the data.
Also, could you provide a bit of detail about the problems you've run into with using external languages with the ATML and XML reports? I'd like to understand that issue a bit better as well to determine how we could address it.
One thing you might be interested in is that we can currently embed images in the report by inserting HTML code linking to the image. I've seen cases where a LabVIEW VI plotted some data onto a custom graph, saved a picture of the control, and linked the image into the report. first it will serach for the billing documnet...then it will find out the rate category,rate then it will search for the tolearnce limit.
Then Upper limit.

      convert upper limit 1 MR result into display format*
        call function 'ISU_METER_IDDATA_TRANSFORM'

Set High and Low Limits for an Item

Hello Experts,
We want to set up HI and Low Limits in SAP so that they can help us know when we are low on an Item. We would like to see when we are in a sales order and place an order for an Item that falls below the low limit the system will let us know and still allow us to place the order.
The Low limits have to go on what is in inventory in warehouse 1 not what is on order. We would also like to be able to run a report that allows us to see what items are below the low limit and also which items are close to the low limit. ( Comparison Report).
Any help in the above scenario would be appreciated.

have you fill the data in item master data --> inventory tab --> minimum & maximum inventory level.
u can define this for each warehouse.

Dynamically configure multiple numeric limit test measurements

I seek to dynamically (programatically) configure a multiple numeric limit test such that I may set / increase / change the number of measurements in the step during execution. For example, I'd like to setup the step for 5 measurements:
M1, M2, M3, M4, M5 with limits 4<=x<=13.
I'll set the result data to {1,2,3,4,5}.
I can successfully set:
MyMultipleNumLimTestStep.ExpectedNumMeas = 5
MyMultipleNumLimTestStep.NumericArray (Number of elements to 5)
MyMultipleNumLimTestStep.DataSourceArray (Number of elements to 5)
MyMultipleNumLimTestStep.Result.Measurement (Numer of elements to 5)
Following that, I can access the individual measurement property objects (by offset) and set the Name, Limits.Low, Limits.High, etc...
During execution, I can view the step variables to see the values getting set correctly.
BUT, in the report, I only see measurement name, status and the measurement value. NOT the units, limits, comparison type.

I also need to configure a multiple numeric limit test programatically. Unfortunately your solution seems not to work (in Teststand 2013). Also with your code I get limits and comparsion entries in the report only for the first measurement. This is the one already existing in the step configuration.

Proposal.:.Multiple Purchase Unit of Measure and pricing

The objective of this message is to start a discussion around procurement unit of measure and pricing.
Currently, some of our clients are facing the following limitation:
- They stock an item in a specific unit of measure (let say metre)
- They buy in a different unit of measure (let say unit).
In this scenario, we have a conversion factor of 6 for example so when we order 1 unit, the system will stock 6 metres.
The issue is that the pricing in SAP Business One for procurement is expressed in stocking unit of measure. It means that we do not have any possibility to enter the price by unit. For example, if in my purchase price list I enter $10 for one unit, on the purchase order, SAP will calculate if I buy 1 unit: $10 x 6 = $60. This is obviously wrong.
The second issue is that I can buy the same product from 3 suppliers but in 3 different UoM (one supplier will sell it in unit, another one in metre and another one in pack of 10). The system can not accomodate this business scenario.

quite late, but I faced the same issue with a window-maker company. They buy alumium bars (different lenghts) and keep them and worked them in meters.
What we do was use the Production module, and define a new BoM item (bar_meter), so when they buy 1 bar (6.4 meters) and they want to use it, they create a production order to create 6.4 new bar_meters. Then they used as many meters as needed to make the window.

Generic Data Extraction : Setting of Upper and Lower Limits

Hi all,
I'm doing the delta extraction for this non-standard infocube which stores data about measuring documents. The strategy I used was to first update a ODS with the new/changed measuring documents determined by their last changed date. Then it will update the infocube with the new values. In order to get the delta measuring documents to go into the ODS, I specify a upper limit of 1 and lower limit of 0 in the extractor's generic delta settings to get measuring documents that are created/changed the previous day. But the system will still take in the full set of measuring document.
Is there something that I have missed out?

Hi,
I dont see anything wrong with what you have done. That is correct, it is recommended that the upper safety interval should be set to 1.
But according to you, the system still gets the newly changed records as of current day. Have you checked the update mode? It should be DELTA UPDATE. It might be marked as FULL UPDATE.
Have you successfully initialized the DELTA Update?
Are you using an appropriate DELTA field? It should be a Calendar Day.

Did you remember to turn off autoscaling? If not, it'll scale right back. Otherwise, you should have the correct property node.

I am not able to set high and low limits for each channel seperately using LabWindows/CVI

I am using AI_StartAcquisition and AI_ReadAcquisition functions to acquire data using PCI 6025E DAQ card and iam using Lab/Wuindows/CVi5.0 software. But one of my transducer has its range in +/- 500 mV soi need to set the high low limits of each channel seperately for that i am using commond string function(cmd) but still i am not able to set the limits properly. Does anyone has any idea about this trouble

You can set the gain on a per channel basis by using the lower level functions. (As opposed to the easy i/o functions.) For example, look at the "SCANsingleBufSync.C" NI-DAQ shipping example that uses the SCAN_Op() function. It's gain parameter is an array of gains that will allow you to change the input limits for each channel separately.

OMR6 upper and lower limits

I am developer and this is not my area of expertise, so not sure if wording will be correct. I believe We place payments blocks on invoices based on values set in OMR6. This is where the configuration is done. However I have been told that the system will not do this for lower limits. Can this be done in OMR6 or is there another area we can do this without having to create a user exit? I'm told that upper limits work fine but that the design of the system does not allow this for lower limits. Anyone have any ideas of where configuration can be done for this?

I had someone here walk me through what was in the setup. For the the Tolerance key "PP" for this specific company there is an upper and lower limit entered and the "check limit" is selected for both upper and lower entries. The upper limit check works but the lower limit check does not work. They said, all SAP notes say you have to enable a specific user exit to get the lower limit to work for "PP". This does not sound right but might be true. Is there something special you have to do with the "PP" type to get it to work? I cannot imagine SAP having the lower limit entry there but not using it, but like I said it is possible.

how can I achieve the same

The easiest solution is to create 2 steps calling the same module. One with A and C and the other with all 3.
Then just precondition them so that one runs in one instance and the other runs in the other case.
Outside of that you can dynamically change the measurements through the API either in a preceding step or in the code module.
You could also create a custom step where you can turn off and on one of the measurements. I don't recommend this. It seems a bit overkill.

How to get numeric result from 'search and replace' string function

i am using search and replace function to get output.my output is of form ' *X0123.3 ' .here i am replacing the term *X01 with space because i need only 23.3 as a result.but i am unable to get that out in the output indicator.i used lot of functions like string to number and so on but i am getting output as zero .can you please suggest me wt to do.i am attaching a copy of my file.

Your problem is the fact that you are converting it to an integer, thus loosing the fractional part. You need to use "Fract/Exp String To Number" instead and create a DBL so yor data is 23.3 instead of 23.
You also don't need to manipulate the string if the initial part is of constant lenght. Just use the offset input as in the figure below.

PRE11 Display driver and low system memory messages as well as no video playback in preview.

I have an HP Pavilion dv6,
the display driver is a mobility Radeon HD 4500, I have updated it on the AMD website.
I have also downloaded quick time, defragmented and done a disc cleanup, I have read previous threads and have not been able to BadDriver. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Did you mean that deleting the BadDrivers.txt file did not solve the problem or you could not find it.

As for the BadDrivers.txt file. Can we assume that your Premiere Elements 11 is on Windows 7 or 8 64 bit?

and in the 11.0 Folder is the BadDrivers.txt file that you delete. Make sure that you have Folder Options Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives active so that you can see the path.
What are you or the program setting as your project preset?
And, what are the properties of the source media that you are importing into the project? How are you importing these source Media - Add Media, Files and Folders, Project Assets and from there dragged to the Expert workspace Timeline or other?
Is this one of those "it worked before but not now" type problems or one of "it never worked" type problem?
What do your computer resources look like..for starters, installed and available RAM and free hard drive space?
Are you running a single or dual monitor setup?
Let us start here and then decide what next.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

I need help resolving the issue of all channels being "clipped" by the (high and low limits) on the AI-Config sub-vi

No matter what values I put in the corresponding channel index, all channels appear to be using the 'first' index of the limit cluster. I am using a PCI-6110E 5Ms board and LabVIEW 5.0. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

If you want to have different input limits for the different channels, you need to make sure the channels are listed in separate Channel indexes as well. For example, if your channel array index 0 reads "0:7", then channels 0 through 7 will all use the input limit settings in the input limit array's index 0.
Instead, enter "0" in Channel Array index 0,
"1" in Channel Array index 1, etc.
