Graphic Files (Flash) running together

Question

Our website was created by someone else and my primary role
is to just update and put new files in their respective places.
On our home page we have two Flash files for our Featured
Planes. (
http://www.ganttaviation.com/home.html)
Normally, there is a space between the two planes/files. Have no
idea why its not showing up.
My flash files are the same size as the placeholders on the
home page. Is this a Flash problem or a Dreamweaver issue? How do I
fix the problem?

hmmm.
the only thing i can think off is how you have embedded your
flash movie within the page.
I know I experimented with a few different ways until i found
one that worked properly. The one I have used involves a small
javascript which replaces the content of a div tag with the flash
movie.
you can find the script file here:
swfobject
then in your code you need to create a div to replace and
then put this bit of javascript after it:
<div id="flashcontent">
content goes here that will be replaced by flash
</div>
<script type="text/javascript">
var so = new SWFObject("your_flash_file.swf", "webmovie",
"290", "250", "7", "#FFFFFF");
so.write("flashcontent");
</script>
the "290" and "250" are the width and height of your movie.
and the hex value is the background colour of the movie ( not sure
what you would put in for transparent)
you will also need a piece of code calling the javascript
within the header of your page:

the wmode setting
