Graphical Display of Organisation Structure

Hi All,
I know we can view the Tree structure of Org Units reporting relationship in R/3 just dont know how to...Please guide me which transaction I should use to display the reporting structure in graphical format in R/3.
Useful answers will be awarded points.

Please share with us the tcode.

Graphical Display of Organization Structure in HR

While creating the organization structure some dummy org. units are created basically for reporting purpose. However while displaying the same in graphical structure the dummy units are also displayed.
I would like to know if it is possible to hide these dummy org units while having the structural display.

Answer would be like this.. Let say : Your Root org unit is 100000 (i.e., ABC Industries) and your sub org units as follows
100001 - Finance
100002 - HR
100003 - Your DUMMY org unit
Now all these got created with a standard relationship as A-002 with 100000. Now You have 2 ways to hide your DUMMY org unit in the Organisation Graphical display..
1. Deleting the Org object 100003 from Data Base
2. Deleting only the relationship between Org Units 100000 and 100003.
If you want to delete the Org Unit... first goto SM30, give the table as T777I and Select the Org Infotype as 1000 and Click on the "Time Constraint" and change the Time Constraint as 3 instead of "1" and now go to Report "RE_RHRHDL00" and Select the Plan Version, Object Type as "O" and Object ID as "100003" and Uncheck the TEST mode and execute. So that Org Unit 100003 will get deleted from data base...
If you want to delete the relationships : You can do this in PP01 and select the Object Type "O" and Object ID as 100000. Select the Org Units and Position which you want to delete. Click on Delete Now I hope you should not be in a position see those in Org Unit graphical display..

Graphical display of hierarichal structure (ALV)

Hi Friends,
I have the requirement of displaying the hierarchical data in graphical mode. For this I am using the FM CNET_GRAPHIC_HIERARCHY, now the problem is that I want to navigate on to some screen when user clicks any node of the graphical structure , how I can capture the event of click on the node.

My requirement is not to make the ALV hierarchical interactive. Basically i want the graphical mode of the hierarchical structure interactive.
To make more clear kindly execute the program RIEQUI10 , Enter the equipment number and then F8.
Now you will see the hierarchical report. Now follow the path GOTO --> Graphic a new window will now open with the Graphical view of the hierarchical list.
Now my requirement is to make a program that will output the current graph (this I have done) and when the user click on any node of the hierarchical tree it should call another screen. I am not able to understand how can I capture the click event when user clicks on any of the node.

How to extract organisational structure ( PPOMA_BBP) in a document /excel.

Hi . in transaction PPOMA_BBP when i go to system -> List -> Save -> Reporting Tree , the reporting tree is greyed out.
1) Is there another way to extract the organisational structure? I need to save the hierarchy + attributes .
2) If possible, can we use the extract to maintain/ create an organisational structure ?

We got a requirement like.... Suppose X company is having 5 consultants including proj mngr and is doing projects for Y and Z. In Y project 3consultants r involved, n in Z also 3consultants r involved. Proj mngr is common 2 both. We configured reporting structure evrything. But it will display only when we click on the position. The client is asking that... after giving org unit numb in ppom_old, the whole structure has 2 display....ie., who involved in the projects, who is reporting to whom, blablabla.....even in graphical struc also it is not showing...can anybody guide me, whether there is such option in sap.

How would i be able to get to know the evaluation path used by organisational structure to display the structure. What i found in tcode : ppome is that it is showing evaluation but not path name. I want to know the reference path name which it is using.

Inactive employees not showing in the organisational structure

We have employees who are in positions but may be on extended unpaid leaves of absence which means they have an inactive employment status. In the organisational structure their position is there, but their name is not displayed. Does anyone know how we can show inactive employees in the structure?

Hi, this is fine for HR if they are looking in the backend, but when the managers see their employees on the MSS portal, for those inactive employees, they do not see the name, because the view is current.

Change of Position in Organisational structure

Hi all,
The position of an employee has changed in the organisational structure and the
new position is displayed. But the underlying workflows containing
SWX_GET_MANAGER function module, are not working properly and no agent is determined .
The above function module works properly for all other employee values.
Is there any other place where we have to determine the new position ?
Please treat it as urgent.

SRM 5.0 organisational structure

Hi Gurus,
is there a restriction for the number of persons integrated in the SRM (SRM 5.0) org. structure (PPOMA_BBP)? Is there a sizing guideline? We plan to expand the number of buyers and approvers up to 90.000.

If an organizational structure with a large number of dependent nodes is displayed in the overview area, access to the transaction can take a very long time.
This type of large organizational structure can occur when the vendors are transferred from the back-end system.

Solution Directory Graphic Displays as XML

We are runing Solution Manager 4.0.
If I perform the following actions...
- Run transaction SOLUTION_MANAGER.
- Select "Goto Solution Directory" (pencil icon) for a solution.
- Expand the solution structure by clicking on the solution name.
- Select the Systems sub-item or the Servers sub-item.
Instead of seeing any graphics in the Graphic tab, I see XML tags. The XML is formatted using Internet Explorer's default appearance.
Any idea what could be causing this? I downloaded and installed the latest version of Microsoft XML (MSXML 6.0), but this didn't change anything.

Can you help us how to change this default name mapping.... we too are in a similar problem...where the graphics display is in XML code.
The error shows : URL http://blrkecsolman.XXXXXX.com:8001/sap/bc/solman/defaultUser/graphic/solmangraphic.htm call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.

Programm for graphical display of a GNEA

hey peeps,
I'm a newbie in java and have to write a pretty tough programm for my practical course.
a programm that provides the graphical display of a gnea ((in)finite automaton...dont know if thats the correct expression. the user has to be able to delete any of the states he wants by clicking on the partiular buttons...we already have the structure of the programm thought i have no idea if it's gonna work. but i dont know how the actual coding looks like. can anyone help me ?

You will have to provide more information that this. It sounds to me like you are asking for someone to give you the code to solve your problem which is not likely going to happen.

RE-FX and graphical display

Hi,
I would need to display the architectural view of RE-FX (buildings, properties etc.) in a graphical display tool.
What are the settings required in RE-FX? Should the geocoordinates (longitude, latitude) be maintained in the RE object master data, and if so is there some enhancement or similar for adding those?

Would anyone have some examples how the link from RE-FX to GIS systems has been made?
Should the mapping of the RE objects to the map be done in some external tool like some geodatabase? Is this typically something that is provided by the external map tool e.g ESRI?
In SAP help is mentioned the architectural view is recommended for this link ,but I can't find any practical information about how this should be done:
"Use of the architectural view is optional. It is recommended in the following cases:
.... You want to link to graphical systems."
If you have any ideas about this it would be really great!

Organisation Structure and Other Modules

I would like to know if each and every sub-module has a structure for itself or do they use the structure we create in OM.
E.g
Organisation Structure gives me a structure of the Org Units. I want to know if the same structure would be used by SD/Financials/MM etc

Hi,
HR contains all data related to HR system, similarly SD MM contains data related to SD MM. All the modules are integrated in SAP. Now come to your question. Org Structure should be same for a client in different module.

Color graphics display, on PSC 2400 part #H100632782 is bad.

Color graphics display port number H100632782 is bad. This is on HP PSC 2400 photosmart series all–in-one. The display over a period of time just faded away. The chassis number is CA02124640-0001 model 5610. I have found another part number that may work in its place it is 7Rh100680782. All these suppliers that I checked,no longer have the part available. I am running this printer from a MacBookPro. The software is Mac OSX version 10.7.5. All help is greatly appreciated.

The HP Partsurfer site lists the display as Q3083-60016. This is no longer available through HP but you may be able to find a replacement with a Google search.

Display of directory structure of remote system in GUI

Hi All,
I have the following requirement and request for your suggestion.
I have two systems namely, A & B, on each of which a separate java program is running. And, these two programs are communicating to each other through RMI.
The requirement is that, I have to show a GUI that displays the directory structure of system B from with in the program running on A.
If any one has a solution for this, request you to please advice me on this.

But, my requirement is like this.
If you can spare few min. of your time, I will
explain you my exact requirement.
A & B are two systems conected in network.
A & B are running programs (java) and program in A
will make request to program in B thru. RMI.
Now, one of these requests are... For transfering
files on system B to system A.
User working on A will make request for transfer of
few files from System B to A.
When he/she makes such request from System A, then a
GUI (open file dialog box) shall get displayed on
system A showing the directory contents of System B
so that user can make selection of file(s) (that
belong to System B) for file transfer.
So for this, I need the "remote file chooser" kind of
functionality.
We are using java RMI for this.
Your suggestions are most welcome on the possible
implementation of this.

You may create a custom file system view that you can pass to the constructor of file chooser. Google and read tutorials for more info.
